Abstract

Corporate governance is very important for companies to have in order to improve financial performance. Where good corporate governance is good governance in running a company. This study aims to test whether Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAICTM) and good corporate governance with indicators of the size of the board of commissioners, independence of the board of commissioners, managerial ownership, affect financial performance using indicators ROA, ROE, EPS. The results showed that VAICTM had a positive and significant effect on ROA, ROE, and EPS. The size of the board of commissioners, managerial ownership has a positive and significant effect on ROA and ROE, while the independence of the board of commissioners has no effect on ROA and ROE. Managerial ownership has a positive and significant effect on EPS, while the size of the board of commissioners and the independence of the board of commissioners have no effect on EPS. Simultaneously or together with VAICTM, the size of the board of commissioners, the independence of the board of commissioners and managerial ownership shows the value of sig. of 0.000 (0.000 <0.05) from each model, this shows that H0 is rejected, meaning that at least one independent variable has an effect on the dependent variable. In other words, VAICTM, the size of the board of commissioners, the independence of the board of commissioners and managerial ownership have a simultaneous effect on ROA, ROE and EPS.

Abstract

One of the ways humans use natural resources to meet their needs is through production activities. The halal and haram status of the natural resources used in production, as well as the halal and haram status of the production process itself, are some of the guidelines that must be followed. Anyone who uses natural resources and carries out production processes legally will benefit from this principle, which has a significant impact on production operations. On the other hand, whoever uses natural resources illegally and performs production procedures shall be punished with mafsadatan. This research is a qualitative research using literature review method. The data poured is sourced from the collection of literature, with analytical descriptive data analysis techniques. The findings of this study indicate that producers do not sufficiently assume that the production they carry out is halal when carrying out production activities. Natural resources and industrial engineering must also be halal. In Islamic economics, the term "production" refers to efforts to create added value from existing natural resources to ensure human life, so that benefits and blessings will be obtained.

Abstract

The observation at SMAN 1 Sikur shows that students' reading ability is still low so that appropriate intervention is needed in the learning process. Low reading ability can adversely affect students' comprehension of narrative text, hinder the development of knowledge, and reduce students' ability to express ideas both in writing and orally. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of reciprocal technique on students' narrative text reading ability. This research is focused on the XI grade students of SMAN 1 Sikur in the academic year 2023/2024. The research method that will be conducted in this research is quasi experiment with experimental research type. The research design in this research is Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. In this design, there will be two sample classes, one sample for the experimental group, which is the subject group in the form of applying the reciprocal technique in learning to read narrative text, while the control group is treated with conventional learning techniques. Samples are taken as part of the overall research object and are considered to represent the true picture of the population. The sample of the research is 62 students, (31 students of experimental class and 31 students of control class). The average score of the experimental class was 2.158. While the average value of the control class was 2.230. In accordance with the analysis above, the researcher found that Reciprocal Teaching Technique has a significant effect on the ability to read narrative text of students in grade XI of SMAN 1 Sikur. This is evidenced by the significant difference in the average post- test scores of the experimental and control groups. This conclusion can be seen from the results of statistical calculations, that the "sig" value is smaller than "0.05".

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of environmental accounting in the management of cattle waste at the Harapan Baru II Farmers Group in Kabupaten Parigi Moutong. This research uses a qualitative approach with an exploratory case study method through interviews, observations, and documentation, which are analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The research results show that the group has processed livestock waste into economically valuable compost fertilizer, even tho they still use manual equipment. From a cost perspective, routine expenses such as the purchase of chalk and sacks have been recorded, but have not yet been separated from other operational costs. The group has also kept simple records through cash and asset books, but these are not fully compliant with PSAK 69. Socially, waste management receives community support because it does not cause pollution and increases income, but regulatory support from the government is still limited. This finding indicates that the application of environmental accounting among smallholder farmers is already happening in practice, but it needs to be strengthened through more detailed cost separation and the implementation of appropriate accounting standards.

Abstract

The financial technology (fintech) industry in Indonesia, particularly Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending, has experienced rapid growth in recent years, providing faster and easier access to capital for individuals and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). While offering many advantages, such as efficiency and financial inclusion, P2P lending faces significant challenges in risk management, including credit, operational, and compliance risks. This research uses the literature study method to analyze the challenges faced by the P2P lending industry as well as the mitigation strategies that can be applied. The results show that low credit scoring quality, lack of historical borrower data, and cybersecurity threats are the main factors affecting risk. In addition, compliance with regulations set by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) is crucial to maintain the industry's reputation. This research recommends the application of advanced technology in credit assessment, diversification of loan portfolios, and strengthening of internal processes to mitigate risk. Thus, this research provides not only academic insights but also practical recommendations for industry players to improve risk management in P2P lending in Indonesia.

Abstract

Regulations of Mendikbudristek RI No. 16 Tahun 2022, In order for the learning process to be effective and efficient, teachers must be able to create an interactive learning atmosphere and actively involve students. The goal of the physics learning process is to master the concept of physics. To improve concept mastery, a learner-centered learning model is needed with media that actively involves students. So the researchers tried to develop an Active Learning Based Interactive Conceptual Instructions (ALBICI) learning model with Predict Discuss Explain Observe Discuss Explain (PDEODE) strategy assisted by PhET Simulations to improve students' mastery of physics concepts. This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the developed learning model. The research method used in this study is the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model research design (Analysist, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluations). This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Sukahaji with class X MIPA 1 as the trial class. The analysis technique to test the feasibility of the product uses expert validity test while to test the effectiveness of the product using N-Gain test and t-test. The product feasibility test showed that the experimental class lesson plan was 94% (very feasible) and the experimental class LKPD was 97% (very feasible). The N-Gain test results in the control class were 0.26 which was classified as low while in the experimental class 0.31 which was classified as moderate. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning model developed is quite effective. The t-test results based on the posttest results of the control and experimental classes obtained a thitung of 2.181 with a ttabel of 2.002. So that thitung < ttabel or it can be concluded that there is a difference in concept mastery between the control and experimental classes.
