Abstract

The Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) presents significant challenges in shipping route optimization and logistics management. These challenges include balancing vehicle capacity, minimizing travel distance, and efficiently grouping delivery points, all of which are crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs. This research aims to apply a combination of the Sweep and Nearest Neighbor algorithms to address the CVRP, seeking to improve route efficiency and manage vehicle capacity effectively. The Sweep algorithm is employed to cluster pickup points based on their polar angle from the depot, facilitating efficient grouping and optimal vehicle capacity management. Within each cluster, the Nearest Neighbor algorithm is implemented to optimize the sequence of visits, minimizing total travel distance by sequentially selecting the next closest point. The Haversine Distance is used to calculate the distances between points, ensuring geographical accuracy compared to the Euclidean method. Experimental results demonstrate that this hybrid approach yields shorter routes. Quantitative analysis shows a significant reduction 13% in total travel distance when using this combination of algorithms, highlighting its effectiveness in solving the CVRP. This research demonstrates that combining the Sweep and Nearest Neighbor algorithms provides an efficient solution to the CVRP, improving route optimization and vehicle capacity management. The findings contribute valuable insights to logistics management, with practical implications for enhancing shipping route efficiency.

Abstract

Tourism is growing rapidly in Indonesia, but halal tourism is diffic to compete with. Understanding the interest factors of Muslim tourists is important because global tourism offers opportunities. Tourist destinations now realize the importance of services according to Islamic principles. This research uses sample data of 90 respondents selected using the purposive sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 25, using statistical analysis such as classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing. The research results show that the religious variables, service quality and tourist destination image have a positive and significant influence on Muslim tourist interest, with a significance value of 0.000 each, which is smaller than 0.05. Meanwhile, the halal tourism variable has a positive but not significant influence on Muslim tourist interest with a significance value of 1.181, which is greater than 0.05. This shows that although halal tourism influences the interest of Muslim tourists, the effect is not significant compared to other variables.   Keywords: Religious, Service Quality, Tourist Destination Image, Halal Tourism, Interest.

Abstract

Most of the Physics Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP) teachers need help understanding the making of the Merdeka Curriculum teaching module and still depend on lesson plans from the 2013 Curriculum. This hinders the implementation of the new curriculum designed to improve teaching quality. This study aims to analyze the independent curriculum teaching module using the experiential learning cycle in the physics MGMP. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive research method with a participatory research design. The research subjects involved 15 physics teachers from MGMP who participated in the two-day training, totalling 16 lesson hours. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, with instruments in the form of interview guides and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the thematic analysis method. The results showed that 88% of the participants considered the material discussed very important, and 90% expressed great satisfaction with the training method. This study concludes that training is efficacious in improving teachers' understanding and skills in developing teaching modules relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum. The implication of this research is the need for continuous development of training programs to support the implementation of the new curriculum and improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

The problem of scarcity and limited resources (scarcity) is what is currently becoming a problem. The relationship between the concept of ownership in Islamic economics and the scarcity phenomenon in Indonesia involves various aspects, including individual ownership rights, social responsibility, and the application of sharia principles. This research aims to examine the relationship between the concept of ownership in Islamic economics and the problem of scarcity which occurs due to the unequal distribution of natural and individual wealth. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The results of this research show that essentially everything in nature belongs to Allah SWT, humans are only recipients of a deposit to manage and empower existing treasures or resources. The concept of ownership in Islamic economics emphasizes social responsibility and wise management of natural resources. Applying these principles can help prevent overexploitation and harm to the environment. In resource empowerment, Islamic ownership emphasizes the redistribution of wealth to overcome the problem of social equality gaps.

Abstract

The tourism potential of hot springs in Padang Lawas Regency acts as a driving force for the economy of communities with low to medium economic levels. The people of Paringgonan Village depend on agriculture, so if this tourism is managed well it will have the potential for tourism development. This research aims to determine the tourism potential to be developed by the Tourism Office in Paringgonan Village. In this research, qualitative research methods were used with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique applied is the interactive model introduced by Miles and Huberman, which includes the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research indicate that the potential for developing Hot Springs tourism has several supporting factors. There are tourist attractions such as hot springs, the availability of accommodation facilities such as hotels or inns, and the presence of mosques as important facilities. However, there are shortcomings in terms of road infrastructure to the Hot Springs and additional services. Apart from that, the efforts made by the Tourism Department to date have not reached their maximum potential. Therefore, in developing various tourist attractions in Paringgonan Village, there needs to be closer collaboration between the community and the local government, as well as improving facilities that can meet the needs of tourists who come to visit.

Abstract

The coffee plant (Coffea sp) has been known to the public for a long time, coffee can be known as a plant for beverages that is most used by people from all levels. Caffeine is a type of alkaloid that is often found in coffee beans. Objective: To determine the highest levels of caffeine in coffee leaves and flowers. Method: The method used was experimental with a True Experimental Research design, Post-Test Only Control Group design. Samples of coffee leaves and flowers were subjected to drying at 60°C, 80°C and 100°C, then extracted using distilled water as a solvent. The standard caffeine solution was made in a series of solutions with concentrations of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 ppm, then the absorbance was measured using UV - Vis spectrophotometry to form a calibration curve. The absorbance of the extract was measured at a wavelength of 273 nm using UV-Vis spectrophotometry, then the caffeine concentration was calculated using a calibration curve. Next, caffeine levels were determined and statistical data analysis was carried out. Results: Coffee leaf caffeine content with drying at 60°C (0.0012 mg), followed by drying at 80°C (0.0004 mg) and drying at 100°C (0.0010 mg). For coffee flower samples, drying at a temperature of 60°C (0.0027 mg), followed by drying at a temperature of 80°C (0.0203 mg) and drying at a temperature of 100°C (0.0210 mg). The results of caffeine levels were analyzed statistically using the ANOVA test, there were no significant differences. Conclusion: The highest caffeine content in leaf samples was found at a drying temperature of 60°C (0.0012 mg), while in flower samples it was found at a drying temperature of 100°C (0.0210 mg).
