Abstract

This research discusses the Influence of social media on students' learning behavior and motivation in Islamic History and Culture Learning at Al-Khaeriyah Murante Junior High School, Murante District, Suli Sub-district, Luwu Regency. The focus of this research is to determine the influence of social media on the learning behavior and motivation of eighth-grade students at MTs Al-Khaeriyah Murante. The type of research used is a quantitative approach. The population includes all eighth-grade students, and the sampling technique used was saturated sampling, meaning that the entire population was used as a sample, resulting in 32 students. Data was collected using questionnaires and then analyzed using simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant negative influence of social media (X) on students' learning behavior (Y1) and motivation (Y2), as evidenced by the significance value of the hypothesis test for the learning behavior variable (0.00 < 0.05) and the student motivation variable (0.01 < 0.05). The negative t-test value (-4.076 and -3.517) indicates a negative relationship between the use of social media and students' learning behavior and motivation. The higher the use of social media, the lower the students' learning behavior and motivation in the Islamic history and culture subject. This study shows that the unwise and excessive use of social media can negatively affect students' learning behavior and motivation. This should be a concern for parents, teachers, and schools to increase supervision and education about the responsible use of social media. The influence of the social media variable (X) on learning behavior (Y1) is 35.6%, and the influence of the social media variable (X) on motivation (Y2) is 29.2%; the rest is influenced by other factors that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

This thesis discussed the use of video-based learning media to enhance motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru. This research adopted an associative research design with a quantitative approach. The population of this study consisted of 101 students of class XI, and a sample of 78 students was selected. Data were collected through observations and questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using statistical tests with SPSS version 24. The findings of this study indicated that: 1) Video-based learning media for Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru fell under the moderate category. 2) The motivation to learn Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru was in the moderate category. 3) The learning outcomes in Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru were in the moderate category. 4) There was a significant influence of video-based learning media on motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru. Based on the output of the SPSS Test of Between Subject Effects, univariate ANOVA was used to examine the influence of each factor on the dependent variable. The significant F-test values were used to test this relationship. The F-test value for the relationship between the use of video-based learning media (X) and Learning Motivation (Y1) was 3.083 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the F-test value for the relationship between the use of video-based learning media (X) and Learning Outcomes (Y2) was 2.896 with a significance value of 0.010 < 0.05. This indicated that there was a difference in the use of video-based learning media in terms of motivation and learning outcomes in Arabic among students of class XI at MAN 1 Barru.

Abstract

The suggestopedia method is applied to transform and create a relaxed learning environment for students, eliminating any tension during the learning process. The implementation of the suggestopedia method aimed to enhance the memorization skills of mufradat for Grade VIII students at MTs DDI Kanang. This was prompted by the observation that many students struggled with mastering mufradat. The main issue addressed in this research was how to implement the suggestopedia learning method to improve students' memorization skills of mufradat.This research adopted a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design called the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Data collection involved administering multiple-choice tests (pre-test and post-test), treatments, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis (analysis requirements test and hypothesis testing).The research findings revealed the following: 1) There was an influence of the suggestopedia learning method on the improvement of students' memorization skills of mufradat for Grade VIII at MTs DDI Kanang, as evidenced by the pre-test score of 58.12 and the post-test score of 85.49 with a paired samples test resulting in a Sig. value of 0.000. 2) There was an influence of the drill method on the improvement of students' memorization skills of mufradat for Grade VIII at MTs DDI Kanang, as indicated by the pre-test score of 51.84 and the post-test score of 78.55 with a paired samples test resulting in a Sig. value of 0.000. 3) There was a difference in the improvement of memorization skills of mufradat between the suggestopedia learning method and the drill learning method for Grade VIII students at MTs DDI Kanang, supported by the independent samples test with a Sig. value of 0.000.

Abstract

Terkait keberagaman budaya, suku, ras dan agama SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja memiliki isu multikultural mengenai kurangnya pemahaman multikulturalisme dan materi pembelajaran multikultural, sehingga memungkinkan rendahnya penerapan nilai-nilai multikultural yang berakibat timbulnya perpecahan. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti mengajukan judul: Strategi Optimalisasi Pengembangan Nilai Multikultural Melalui Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Di SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan multikultural apa saja di SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja, (2) Mengetahui strategi dilakukan oleh guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam penanaman nilai-nilai multikultural di SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja, (3) Mengetahui langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh guru PAI di sekolah dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai multikultural melalui pendidikan agama Islam di SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan penelitian etnografis. Terdapat beberapa tahapan harus yang dilalui ketika melakukan penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan etnografis yaitu perencanan penelitian, studi literatur, pengumpulan data awal, observasi dan partisipasi, pengumpulan data kualitatif dan hasil penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, data persentase dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai multikultural di SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja melalui pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam. Diantaranya: Keanekaragaman budaya, kesadaran multikultural, inklusi dan toleransi. Strategi optimalisasi pengembangan nilai multikultural melalui pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam di SMA Negeri 1 Tana Toraja terdiri atas: (1) Penguatan pendidikan multikultural, (2) Studi kasus lokal, (3) Penggunaan materi yang relevan. Peran sentral guru PAI: Guru PAI memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membentuk pemahaman dan sikap siswa terhadap keberagaman budaya melalui pendidikan agama Islam. Mereka bertindak sebagai agen perubahan yang dapat mempengaruhi pola pikir dan perilaku siswa. Pendekatan multikultural dalam pembelajaran: Guru PAI mengadopsi pendekatan multikultural dalam pembelajaran agama Islam, dengan memasukkan konten yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai multikultural dalam kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di Madrasah Aliyah Ittihadul Khoiriyah, Desa Muaro Jambi, Kecamatan Maro Sebo, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Berbagai tantangan sering dihadapi dalam upaya ini, termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya, kurangnya pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional yang berkelanjutan, serta beban kerja administratif yang tinggi. Dalam konteks ini, peran kepala madrasah menjadi sangat penting untuk merumuskan dan mengimplementasikan strategi yang efektif guna mengatasi tantangan tersebut dan mendukung pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah di MA Ittihadul Khoiriyah menerapkan berbagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru, seperti meningkatkan disiplin kerja melalui rapat rutin, monitoring kehadiran, serta sistem reward and punishment yang transparan. Kepala madrasah juga menekankan kerja sama tim melalui program "sharing session" dan proyek lintas mata pelajaran. Evaluasi rutin terhadap kinerja guru membantu mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan yang sesuai. Selain itu, penyediaan fasilitas dan sumber daya yang memadai, seperti perpustakaan yang lengkap dan laboratorium yang berfungsi dengan baik, mendukung proses pembelajaran yang inovatif. Kolaborasi antar guru didorong melalui komunitas pembelajaran profesional, sementara insentif keuangan diberikan bagi pendidik yang berprestasi

Abstract

Technological developments have played a significant role in the world of education. The benefits of technology for the world of education include obtaining information, increasing students’ learning abilities, facilitating access to learning, making material more interesting and being able to increase interest in learning. Indonesian is one of the lessons that must keep up with technological developments. Independent Campus is the policy of the Minister of Education and Culture, where the goal and mission is to encourage students to master various knowledge that is useful for entering the world of work. Through this policy, the Merdeka Campus provides opportunities for students to choose the courses they want to take as well as freedom of thought and innovation for lecturers and students. This article will also explain that technological developments and the Merdeka Campus learning program play a very important role in improving the quality of education, one of which is in learning Indonesian. This can be seen from the implementation of the benefits of technology in improving Indonesian language learning and the Merdeka Campus policy which provides freedom to innovate and study independently which is able to increase creativity in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

As social creatures and living in groups in everyday life, humans certainly do not escape interaction or communication. Communication is the process of conveying a message from the communicator to the communicant or audience, whether in the form of symbols or emblems, in the hope of bringing or understanding the message to students (students) in the classroom or in society and trying to change attitudes and behavior. In the world of education, the learning process will be effective if communication and interaction between teachers and students occurs efficiently and effectively. In classroom learning, the communication process will take place either between teacher and student, in this case, students or vice versa between students and teachers or educators, where the learning material is the message in the learning communication process which is often seen as the heart or core of learning activities. In this learning communication, educational interactions occur which take place in the form of message exchange which is none other than learning material. In the context of learning communication, teachers are placed in a position as communicators because the duties and roles of teachers as learning leaders position them as communicators, while students are placed as communicants or students. Teachers must be able to master good interaction patterns and communication techniques in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the contribution of the swallow's nest cultivation business to increasing income and community welfare in Belopa District, Luwu Regency. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of ten informants of swallow business actors, community leaders and communities close to the swallow's nest cultivation location. The results of the study indicate that swallow's nest cultivation has a significant economic impact, including increasing family income, creating new jobs, increasing purchasing power, and improving the quality of life of the community. In addition to the economic aspect, this study also found social impacts such as the formation of a solidarity network between swallow's nest cultivation business actors and the emergence of a family-based economic community. However, this business also faces social obstacles in the form of inequality in economic access, potential social conflict, and environmental impacts due to noise and waste from swallow houses. Based on these findings, the researcher recommends policy support from the local government in the form of zoning regulations, technical training, capital assistance, and the formation of swallow farmer cooperatives to create sustainable and inclusive businesses

Abstract

This study examines the management of coconut plantations at Pondok Pesantren Wali Peetu in Desa Air Hitam Laut as an effort to strengthen the economic independence of the pesantren while serving as a holistic educational medium for santri (students). A qualitative research method employing a case study approach was used to explore the management processes, economic roles, and social impacts generated by the plantation. The findings indicate that the involvement of santri in all stages of coconut plantation activities not only produces significant income for the pesantren but also shapes the character, life skills, and leadership qualities of the santri in accordance with Islamic economic principles. This management model applies the “learning by doing” approach and context-based character education, integrating spiritual, technical, and social aspects. The coconut plantation management at the pesantren represents an important innovation that fills the gap in the traditional pesantren educational paradigm with a sustainable community-based economic empowerment approach. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for other pesantren seeking to optimize local resources for sustainability and santri empowerment

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perbandingan praktik pemotongan unggas di Rumah Potong Unggas (RPU) perusahaan dengan pemotongan mandiri dalam perspektif hukum Islam. Kebutuhan protein masyarakat Indonesia sebagian besar dipenuhi dari daging ayam, sehingga jaminan kehalalan dan kebersihan menjadi faktor utama bagi konsumen muslim. Dua metode pemotongan yang berkembang, yaitu RPU dengan standar operasional modern serta pemotongan mandiri di pasar tradisional, memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan masing-masing. RPU unggul dalam aspek higienitas, kepatuhan terhadap regulasi, serta sertifikasi halal, sementara pemotongan mandiri lebih dekat dengan tradisi fiqh klasik, murah, dan mudah diakses, tetapi sering menghadapi masalah kebersihan dan keterlacakan produk. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif melalui studi literatur, dengan sumber data primer berupa Al-Qur’an, Hadis, fiqh klasik maupun kontemporer, serta fatwa MUI, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari buku, artikel ilmiah, dan dokumen regulasi. Analisis dilakukan secara komparatif untuk menilai kesesuaian kedua praktik dengan prinsip halalan tayyiban. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa secara syariat, keduanya sah selama memenuhi syarat penyembelihan, namun dari perspektif maqashid syariah, pemotongan di RPU lebih mendukung perlindungan kesehatan dan kehalalan. Meski demikian, pemotongan mandiri tetap memiliki peran penting dalam ketersediaan pangan. Sinergi pengawasan halal, edukasi, dan peningkatan standar kebersihan menjadi kunci agar kedua model dapat memenuhi kebutuhan umat Islam akan daging ayam yang halal, sehat, dan aman.
