The Complaint Service Information System is a web-based platform designed for the Dewantara District Office. The title Complaint Service Information System is based on the need for technological solutions to improve the quality of public services, especially in handling public complaints. This system was chosen because it facilitates more efficient complaint reporting, increases transparency, and speeds up responses to issues raised by the public. By applying information technology in handling complaints, it is hoped that we can create a public service environment that is more responsive, open and adaptive to the ever-growing needs of society. The process of creating a complaint service information system involves several main stages. First, the needs analysis stage is carried out to identify and understand the needs of users and related parties in handling complaints. This involves a survey and analysis of associated documents. Next, the system design and design stage involves database structure, user interface, and business logic. This Information System design process involves critical steps to ensure the success and effectiveness of the system, including coding, creating a user interface, and setting up a database. The results of designing the Complaint Service Information System include a simple and responsive user interface, an online complaint form, a status tracking system, and analytical reports. Abstract

The use of Augmented Reality technology in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in pharmacies, has introduced significant innovations in providing drug information to consumers. AR applications can help healthcare workers and patients better understand drug use through three-dimensional visualization superimposed on the real environment. Observations at Sultan Abdul Aziz Syah Peureulak Hospital indicate that 70% of patients still experience confusion regarding the drug information provided by pharmacy staff. This difficulty is caused by the complexity of the information, lack of personal interaction, or low health literacy. To address this problem, the Android-based Mediscan application was developed using AR technology. This application utilizes Unity and Vuforia Engine software to present drug information visually in card form via the smart device screen. Users can point the camera at a particular drug and receive complete information regarding general indications, dosage, drug class, contraindications, and side effects. This research aims to develop the Mediscan application, calculate the level of patient understanding, measure consumer satisfaction, and evaluate the impact of using AR in presenting drug information. The System Development Life Cycle methodology with the Waterfall model was used in this research. The results show that AR technology can be implemented in Android-based applications to present drug information visually and interactively. The majority of patients feel more informed and gain a better understanding of the medication they are taking. AR technology in the Mediscan application improves user experience, supports the education and training of medical personnel and patients, and enhances the quality of healthcare services in hospitals. This application also makes it easier for medical personnel and pharmacists to convey drug information more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

We provide an overview of the research on cultivating sustainable employee engagement and well-being initiatives in Indonesian organizations. The study aimed to comprehensively examine the strategies employed, the challenges faced, and the impact of these initiatives on organizational performance in the Indonesian context. The research was rooted in a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to understand the subject matter better. Data was collected from surveys, interviews, and organizational records. Stratified random sampling was employed for surveys, while purposive sampling was used for interviews, ensuring a diverse and representative dataset. Our analysis incorporated descriptive statistics and inferential statistical methods, such as regression analysis, for quantitative data. Qualitative data underwent thematic analysis, allowing for the identification of patterns and themes. Integrating both data types enabled triangulation and a more profound insight into the research questions. Ethical considerations were paramount throughout the research, with data treated confidentially and participant identities protected. Informed consent was obtained from all participants, and potential biases or conflicts of interest were transparently addressed. While the mixed-methods approach enriched our understanding, it did pose resource and time constraints. While valuable within the Indonesian context, the findings may not be universally applicable. Additionally, challenges related to data collection, such as participant availability and the completeness of organizational records, were acknowledged. This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge by offering insights into the strategies and impact of sustainable employee engagement and well-being initiatives in Indonesian organizations while shedding light on the challenges faced in implementing such programs.

Abstract

Neuromarketing is a rapidly growing field that uses neuroscience to understand consumer behavior and improve marketing effectiveness. This article explores the complex ethical implications of neuromarketing practices, especially regarding persuasive influence on consumer autonomy and the use of emerging technologies. First, we investigate advances in neurotechnology, such as fMRI, EEG, and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), that enable a deeper understanding of consumer preferences. The challenge is enforcing this technology's ethical use and protecting individual privacy. Second, we discuss "neuro hacking," exploiting neurological vulnerabilities to influence consumer decisions. This raises ethical questions about mental safety and individual autonomy. Third, algorithms and artificial intelligence in Neuromarketing create highly personalized marketing experiences. This raises questions about how to protect privacy, obtain consent, and maintain individual agency. Fourth, we explore cultural issues in Neuromarketing, exploring how cultural values must be respected in marketing practices. Fifth, we discuss security and data protection issues in using neuromarketing technology. Sixth, we investigate the role of government and regulatory agencies in regulating neuromarketing practices and protecting consumer rights. Finally, we highlight the importance of education about neuroethics in educating marketers, researchers, and consumers about the ethical aspects of Neuromarketing. This article encourages critical reflection on the ethical dilemmas businesses, researchers, and policymakers face in the rapidly evolving world of Neuromarketing.

Abstract

Abstract

Most of the Simeulue population depends on marine products for their livelihoods. However, the use of bombs in fishing has posed a serious threat to the sustainability of fish resources, which are crucial assets for the community's welfare. The practice of fishing with bombs not only damages marine habitats, including coral reefs, but also threatens the sustainability of fish resources in the future. If allowed to continue, this can harm marine ecosystems and jeopardize the sustainability of the local economy. To address this problem, training and implementing coral reef conservation using the Coral Adoption method is crucial. This initiative, which involves the Simeulue Regency government, Simeulue Police, and TNI, focuses on the community, especially fishermen. The Coral Adoption method is a marine environmental rehabilitation technique that aims to conserve marine biota, accelerate coral reef growth, and restore threatened ecosystems. The training provides participants with knowledge about the negative impacts of fish bombing and the importance of marine environmental rehabilitation. It also empowers them to stop such destructive practices. Furthermore, participants recognize the long-term impacts of fish bombing on their socio-economic aspects, which ultimately increases their commitment to preserving the marine environment for a better future.
