This research aims to describe the process of students’ worksheet development for math subjects and find out the quality of students’ worksheets produced for geometry subject which is based on Jambi culture. This research applies research and development (R&D) method to produce a particular product. The development model applied in this research is ADDIE with 5 stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Subjects of this research are two validators which consist of validator of material expert, validator of design expert and students of a junior high school in grade VII. Data collected in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. Instruments used in this research are a questionnaire and a final test. The result of this study shows the development of students’ ability in mathematical representation at high category based on a gain test with 0,7 in high criteria. The result of the analysis from the questionnaire shows > 80% positive. It can be concluded that students’ worksheet for math subject is good and can improve students’ creativity. Therefore, students’ worksheet can be effectively used by both teachers and students in geometry subject.

This research aims to determine differences in student anxiety levels based on gender and the relationship between students' anxiety levels before facing a mathematical test with achievement and then dig deeper information about the causes of anxiety in students. This research uses a mixed-method with a sequential explanatory approach. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA Kerinci Senior High School 2 totaling 100 students. The results of the research showed that students experiencing anxiety before taking a math test as the cause of anxiety is experience, intelligence, preparation, and family. Differences in levels of anxiety based on gender indicate that there is no significant difference between the level of anxiety experienced by male and female students but male students are more anxious than female students the cause is that there have been similar thoughts and goals in terms of achievement so as to make male students neither men nor women experience significant differences in anxiety levels. There is a relationship between the level of anxiety with learning outcomes of 0.43 which is in the category enough and has a positive relationship, namely the higher the level of anxiety, the higher the student learning outcomes. Descriptions of quantitative data indicate that there is no certainty for someone who has an anxiety level will get a definite value.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan dan hubungan kecerdasan emosional yang dimiliki siswa terhadap pembelajaran fisika. Dalam kecerdasan emosional pada diri siswa terdapat beberapa aspek yang menjadi faktor penting yaitu mengenali, mengelola emosi, mengenal emosi orang lain serta membina hubungan yang baik kepada orang lain. Penelitian ini menerapkan mix method. Instrument yang digunakan adalah angket, wawancara dan observasi. Total keseluruhan siswa dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 siswa. Dimana 30 siswa berasal dari kelas XI MIPA 1 dan sisanya berasal dari kelas XI MIPA 3. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengujian asumsi dan uji hipotesis. Dari hasil analisis yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan kecerdasan emosional pada siswa di kelas XI MIPA 1 dan XI MIPA 3 tergolong baik. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut bahwa siswa memiliki perbedaan dalam kecerdasan emosional yang dimiliki. Namun perbedaan tersebut tidak menjadikan siswa memiliki rendahnya kecerdasan emosional. Dari analisis wawancara siswa sabar dan terus bertanya saat memahami materi fisika tentu saja itu menjadikan point utama dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosionalnya. Sehingga hal tersebut dapat menuntun siswa untuk lebih menjadi orang yang disiplin dan memotivasi diri untuk giat dalam belajar.

Misconceptions are errors in connecting concepts that result in understanding new ideas and concepts in students' minds into wrong concepts. This study aims to analyze the effect of critical thinking skills on misconceptions in magnetic field material. The research method used in this study is mixed method. In this study, the sampling technique used was a simple random sampling technique to take the sample from the population. The sample used was 30 students taken randomly through a lottery, so 30 students were obtained as samples. The data collection instruments used in this study were interview sheets and questionnaires. The research design used was a sequential explanatory design. From the descriptive results of the misconceptions data, it is found that the mean of students' misconceptions is 3.59, which means that students' misconceptions are still relatively low. The descriptive results of critical thinking skills data show that the mean of critical thinking skills is 64.03, which means students' critical thinking skills are in a good category. The regression coefficient indicates an influence of critical thinking skills on misconceptions that can be seen from F_ = 28,740 with a significance/probability level of 0.001 < 0.05. It was concluded that there was an effect of critical thinking skills on misconceptions, seen from the higher the value of critical thinking skills, the lower students experiencing misconceptions.

ABSTRACT Student learning activities are activities or activities of students in learning in the form of activities with themselves or groups that are influenced by internal and external factors. Learning style is a way that students use to understand information so that it can be accepted easily. In learning physics, student activity is very necessary. So that learning in the classroom needs to be carried out according to the student's learning style in order to create an active learning atmosphere and students can easily understand the material presented. This study aims to determine the effect of learning styles on the activeness of learning Physics in students. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data collection technique used is interviews with informants, namely Physics subject teachers in class X. From the results of interview analysis, it is known that students of class X IPA SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi have a type of visual learning style. This is because students are more interested and faster to learn if they use video media by raising the latest issues in Physics learning. However, for student activity is low. From the results of the interviews, it is known that students are not actively involved in learning such as asking questions. The low level of student activity is caused by several factors. The use of models or learning methods that are in accordance with students' learning styles can help maximize the learning process. So that the learning process can run actively and planned and provide maximum results. Keywords: Learning activity, Learning style, Physics

ABSTRACT The research was conducted to find out where the media learning influence on student learning interest. The research population was 30 class X students at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. Physics is a lesson that is considered difficult for students, especially students, the development of technology can also help the development of learning media, learning interest can also determine Hassil learning students this is underlying researchers to conduct research. Where the type of research used by researchers is descriptive quantitative research with data collection methods, namely using a questionnaire survey with a number of 2 questionnaires, where the questionnaire used is related to learning interest and also the use of learning media. From the results of the questionnaire that has been distributed, the researcher conducts data analysis by conducting a regression test to find out where the use of learning media on student learning interests where the results obtained the significance value of the regression test of both data can we know that the significance value .154 Where the significance value is 0.0 Because of the SIG value> α or 0.154> 0.05, it was concluded that there was an influence between learning media to the learning interest in class X students at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi. The misconception is the interpretation of a concept that is not following the conception agreed upon by scientists. The purpose of the research was to determine the product development process of the five-tier diagnostic test and the product quality of the five-tier diagnostic test. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is the 4D model. The research sample was 98 students of class XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 4 at Senior High School 1 Jambi City. The results showed that the quality of the instrument was feasible to use because the test showed valid qualitative and quantitative results.

Metode coloring HSV merupakan cara untuk memfilter warna obyek yang di deteksi dengan warna yang lain berdasarkan lingkup warna hue, saturation, dan value. Metode ini relatif sederhana dengan waktu pemrosesan yang cepat sehingga sangat cocok untuk diterapkan pada robot sepak bola untuk sistem deteksi objek, dalam hal ini adalah deteksi objek bola berwarna orange. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah merancang sistem pendeteksi objek bola menggunakan metode coloring HSV dan mengetahui performa sistem dalam mendeteksi objek bola dengan tingkat akurasi deteksi warna orange. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa sistem yang dibangun dapat mendeteksi objek dengan intensitas cahaya diatas 316 dan jarak objek dibawah 250 cm.

Students' efforts in studying physics often encounter obstacles due to the assumption that physics is a difficult subject to understand and teaching physics tends to be less interesting, causing misconceptions. This study aims to identify the misconceptions experienced by students in static fluid and dynamic fluid materials through four-tier (four-tier) diagnostics. This study uses a quantitative description method, with respondents as many as 30 students of class XI MIA MAN Insan Cendekia Jambi. The results showed that the average misconception experienced by students was classified in the low category because the percentage of correct answers for all levels obtained was 12.4% and the percentage of students' misconceptions for all levels was 2.0%. In addition to misconceptions, there are still some students who belong to the Lack of Knowledge category, which is 8.67% including false positives of 43.20% and false negatives of 40.27%. This can happen because students do not understand the concept or it could be because students are not serious about working on the questions given.

Teachers need to know how science process skills and students' critical thinking skills are. This study aims to see the relationship between science process skills and critical thinking skills so that teachers can determine the appropriate learning methods to improve science process skills and critical thinking skills. The researcher employed a sample of 58 students from class IX junior high school Adhyaksa 1 Jambi City. The sampling technique in this study using cluster sampling. This study's research design is an associative quantitative research method with a correlational research design. Quantitative analysis uses the SPSS program to find descriptive, normality tests, linearity tests, and correlation tests. The results showed that the significance value obtained was less than 0.05. It was seen that there was a relationship between students' process skills and students' critical thinking abilities
