Abstract

Customers as consumers of products users need to pay attention to the satisfaction they get. The study in this research is about customer satisfaction which is part of the advantages of industrial business in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The method used is a literature study. Data sources are articles in accredited national journals and reputable international journals. The findings show that the industrial revolution 4.0 changed the work system in an industry by utilizing the latest technology to increase competition and seek innovative strategies to achieve customer satisfaction. These findings are expected to provide information to business or corporate users, customers who use the products offered, and government agencies that participate in managing the industrial business so that they can create industrial business flows that are useful for the progress of a country's economy. Pelanggan sebagai konsumen dari pengguna produk perlu diperhatikan mengenai kepuasan yang didapatkan. Kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai kepuasan pelanggan yang merupakan bagian dari keunggulan bisnis industri pada era revolusi industri 4.0. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur studi. Sumber data adalah artikel dalam jurnal nasional berakreditasi maupuan jurnal internasional bereputasi. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa revolusi industri 4.0 merubah sistem kerja dalam suatu industri dengan memanfaatkan teknologi terkini dalam meningkatkan persaingan dan mencari strategi yang inovatif untuk mencapai kepuasan pelanggan. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi informasi kepada pengguna bisnis atau perusahaan, pelanggan pengguna produk yang ditawarkan serta lembaga pemerintahan yang ikut mengelola bisnis industri sehingga bisa menciptakan arus bisnis industri yang berguna untuk kemajuan perekonomian suatu negara.

Abstract

Of 120 work accidents and work-related body injury reports, 75% occurred in young transporters. These are caused by young oil palm transporters' lack of understanding and ability to drive safely, especially in oil palm plantation sites with uneven road characteristics, and the vehicle specifications need to be safer to drive. This community service aims to provide knowledge and skills to the people of Persipan Ranah Melintang village, especially young oil palm transporters, regarding driving safety so that it can reduce the number of accidents in this area. The method used in the safety riding training activities uses the lecture method, question and answer, discussion, video demonstrations, and sound and proper practice of riding a motorbike following safety riding rules. The results of this activity showed the participants' enthusiasm for participating in the training, especially when practicing riding motorbikes. In addition, there was an increase in participants' awareness and understanding of the importance of safety riding when driving.

Abstract

Although the technology of fuel injection in motorcycles has reached ports and direct injection, motorcycles with carburetors are still used. In this research, the carburetor was modified by adding a swirling vane. This study is intended to provide an explanation regarding engine performance which includes torque, power, mileage, emissions, and engine oil temperature. The study begins with a review of the shape and flow characteristics of the swirling vane based on the largest flow according to previous studies. Then, a swirling vane is built and tested to ensure its optimal shape. The findings were compared with conventional carburetor-based engines that had not been treated. Experiments were also carried out on gasoline-ethanol to obtain optimal results and use them appropriately for alternative fuel applications. A comparison of data on torque, power, exhaust emissions, temperature, and mileage reveals that vehicles modified with swirling vanes have better performance. Furthermore, based on the results of gasoline-ethanol application tests, this design is only suitable for use up to E25.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari pengamatan peneliti terhadap siswa SMK Muhamadiyah 1 yang kurang termotivasi dalam melaksanankan proses pembelajaran perawatan mesn kendaraan ringan dan belum adanya kesiapan siswa untuk mengikuti praktek , dari permasalahan tersebut peneliti tergerak untuk melihat pengaruh dari motivasi dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar perawatan mesin kendaraan ringan. Jenispenelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kolerasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XII kompetensi keahlian teknik kendaraan ringan SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang tahun ajaran 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 60 orang, sedangkan sampel terdiri dari 30 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner (angket) dengan mengunakan skala Likert yang telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Selanjutnya data dianalisis melalui analisis deskriptif dengan metode pengkategorian penilaian berdasarkan rerata skor dan persentase penilaian. Dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara motivai siswa (X1) dan kemandirian belajar (X2) terhadap hasil belajar (Y). Temuan ini diperoleh berdasarkan rangkaian analisis data yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara motivai siswa (X1) dan kemandirian belajar (X2) terhadap hasil belajar (Y) uji F sebesar 3,009 dengan ttabel 1,882, karena Fhitung>Ftabel maka hipotesis ketiga yang diajukan diterima.

Abstract

The increasing population of motorbikes has an impact on fuel needs and the resulting increase in exhaust emissions. The electrolyzer has an effect on fuel consumption and gasoline exhaust of a modified 4-stroke motorbike. This research is experimental research, starting with designing and making the tools to be studied, then conducting research. As a result, there was a decrease in fuel consumption of 31.36% at 2000 RPM rotation, 8.73% at 4000 RPM engine speed, and 15.48% at 6000 RPM rotation. While exhausting emissions, there was a decrease in CO of 47.37%, an increase in h22o of 24.37%, and a decrease in HC of 45.11% at 2000 RPM rotation. The 4000 RPM rotation decreased CO by 89.11%, CO2 increased by 35.48%, and HC decreased by 36.98%. The 6000 RPM rotation decreased CO by 41.67%, CO2 increased by 17.26% and HC decreased by 6.92%. Semakin banyak populasi sepeda motor berdampak pada kebutuhan bahan bakar dan meningkatnya emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan. Elektroliser berpengaruh pada konsumsi bahan bakar dan gas buang sepeda motor 4 langkah modifikasi injeksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, dimulai dengan merancang dan membuat alat yang akan diteliti, kemudian dilakukan penelitian. Hasilnya, terjadi penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar sebesar 31.36% pada putaran 2000 RPM, 8.73% pada putaran mesin 4000 RPM dan 15.48% pada putaran 6000 RPM. Sedangkan emisi gas buang, terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 47.37%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 24.37% dan penurunan HC sebesar 45.11% pada putaran 2000 RPM. Putaran 4000 RPM terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 89.11%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 35.48%, dan penurunan HC sebesar 36.98%. Putaran 6000 RPM terjadi penurunan CO sebesar 41.67%, kenaikan CO2 sebesar 17.26% dan penurunan HC sebesar 6.92%.

Abstract

This study presents an analysis of students' condition in online learning in the autotronics technology course of the Department of Automotive Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. This research aims to find obstacle to online learning based on technology, human and environmental factors. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were 120 students who took the autotronics technology course at Universitas Negeri Padang, Department of Automotive Engineering, Faculty of Engineering in the 2019/2020 semester. A questionnaire using a Likert scale was used for data collection. Analysis techniques use descriptive analysis techniques and confirmatory factors. The results of confirmatory factor analysis, factors were formed that could explain 76.84% of the variance of the original variables. The human side is the biggest hurdle. 77 of 120 students were less enthusiastic about participating in bold learning, 86 of 120 students struggled to understand the material being bravely taught, and 93 of 120 students had difficulty understanding charts and series in the material, and 87 out of 120 students had difficulty understanding the material. It was difficult to understand the material without doing the lab. The human variable is considered the biggest constraint compared to other variables studied. These constraints are the personality indicators and intelligence indicators.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning modules and produce effective modules in cooperative learning-based mechanical engineering drawing courses. The type of research used is development research, which we are more familiar with by the term Research & Development (R&D). This study uses the 4D model (four-D models). The 4D development procedures are Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The results of this study indicate that the difference in pretest and posttest learning outcomes is an increase of 19.4%, and seen from the aspect of learning activity, it is stated to be very high with an achievement percentage of 81.6%, it can be said that this development module is very effective in its application in engineering drawing courses machine. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the development of cooperative learning-based learning modules effectively improves student study results. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran dan menghasilkan modul yang efektif pada mata kuliah gambar teknik mesin berbasis cooperative learniang. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian pengembangan yang lebih kita kenal dengan istilah Research & Development (R&D). Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D (four-D models). Prosedur pengembangan 4D yaitu Define (pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan hasil belajar pretest dan posttest terdapat peningkatan 19,4%, serta dilihat dari aspek aktivitas belajar dinyatakan sangat tinggi dengan persentase pencapaian 81,6%, maka dapat dikatakan modul pengembangan ini sangat efektif penerapanya di mata kuliah gambar teknik mesin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul pembelajaran berbasis cooperative learning ini efektif untuk untuk meningkatkan hasil studi peserta didik.

Abstract

The Velocity Air Intake System is an important component in a motor vehicle engine, particularly in a 155cc engine. Its function is to optimize the airflow process to the throttle body or carburetor. However, many users or people tend to overlook the significance of improving engine performance by varying the model or replacing the velocity air intake system itself. One common issue is the diameter and shape of the airflow model, which can affect the power, torque, and exhaust emissions produced. Installing a velocity air intake system is one approach to achieve an efficient air delivery process into the combustion chamber. In our research conducted using a dyno test on a 155cc four-stroke engine, the results showed that using a 46 mm size yielded the highest power of 11.03 Hp and produced a torque of 12.39 N.m. Using a 47 mm size resulted in 11.02 Hp and decreased the torque to 12.28 N.m. With a 48 mm size, there was a decrease in power to 11.00 Hp and an increase in torque to 12.72 N.m, while using a 45 mm size led to a decrease in power to 10.09 Hp and produced a torque of 11.31 N.m.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk mengukur efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian merupakan penelitian metaanalisis menggunakan data sekunder. Data yang digunakan berupa hasil posttest kelas eksperimen dan kontrol pada artikel yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK, mulai jenjang pendidikan SD, SMP, SMA, SMK, dan perguruan tinggi. Artikel yang digunakan sebanyak 30 artikel. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan dihitung menggunakan formula effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media belajar berbasis TIK memiliki dampak yang tinggi terhadap capaian hasil belajar pada semua tingkat pendidikan. Oleh karenanya, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK memiliki tingkat efektivitas tinggi dan tepat digunakan untuk semua tingkat satuan pendidikan. AbstractThe research aimed to measure the effectiveness of the use of information and communication technology (ICT)-based learning media on student learning outcomes. The research was meta-analytic research using secondary data. The data used in the form of posttest results of experimental and control classes in articles that use ICT-based learning media, starting from elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, vocational school, and tertiary education levels. Articles used 30 articles. The collected data was calculated using the effect size formula. The results of the research showed that the use of ICT-based learning media has a high impact on learning outcomes at all levels of education. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the use of ICT-based learning media has a high level of effectiveness and is appropriate for all levels of educational units.

Abstract

The transition period between the pandemic and after it requires strategies so that learning transitions continue to create comfort for students in learning. The purpose of this activity is to help teachers become more experts at creating online modules. This activity involved 30 participants from members of the West Sumatra Automotive Engineering Subject Teacher Consultation. Participants' online module work will be analyzed to determine the teacher's ability to design online modules and the effectiveness of the learning process. Participants can effectively create learning modules as a result. However, instructors must spend more time teaching online students on how to complete assignments.
