Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the PhET simulation-assisted project-based learning model on students' ability to master the concept of elasticity.  The type of research used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group design.  The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Wanasaba East Lombok, totaling 142 students.  The research sample was taken using purposive sampling, so that 31 students were selected in class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class and 31 students in XI IPA 1 as the control class.  The independent variable in this study was the PhET simulation-assisted project-based learning model used in the experimental class, while the ability to master the concept became the control variable.  The instrument used to measure the students' mastery of the concept is a test instrument in the form of a description test on the material elasticity of 6 questions.  The results of the pre-test data analysis showed that the students' initial knowledge was almost the same, but after being given treatment, the average post-test score of the experimental class was 79.22 and that of the control class was 72.64.  The results of the t test using the Independent Sample T test on the post-test showed a significance (2 tailed) less than 0.050, so it can be concluded that the project-based learning model assisted by the PhET simulation has an effect on students' ability to master the concept of elasticity.

Abstract

This training activity aims to improve the competence of teachers at Public Junior High School 3 Batukliang, Central Lombok Regency in the field of writing scientific papers. This activity is carried out in three stages. The stages involved in solving this problem are the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of the training showed that the teachers who attended were very enthusiastic about following and observing what was explained by the community service team regarding the models and strategies taught in class to compile them into a scientific work. In addition, the training participants wanted the training activities to be sustainable.

Abstract

Currently and in the future, tourism is expected to make the biggest contribution to increasing the country's foreign exchange in the government's efforts to realize people's welfare and prosperity. One form of tourism product as a derivative of the concept of sustainable tourism development is the concept of ecotourism development. This study aims to map the research that has been carried out related to ecotourism in Indonesia. Data were obtained from scientific papers published on Google Scholar from 2010-2022 and there were 985 published scientific papers consisting of 968 from journals, 16 from proceedings, and 11 from books. Bibliometric analysis was carried out using the Vos Viewer application. The results of the study show that Indonesia has many tourist areas that can be developed into ecotourism areas, and these can be used as objects of research on ecotourism, but during the last 10 years research has only been conducted in a few areas. In addition, research on the same thing is often carried out in different research locations. This is the weakness of research on ecotourism in Indonesia. Thus, it is concluded that there are still many areas and keywords that are different and related to the concept of ecotourism which can be used as research subjects in Indonesia. research on the same thing is often done with different research locations. Abstract

The existence of "Bale Tani" and "Alang" in the present time is now rarely encountered, as they have been replaced by more modern buildings and storage spaces. This research aims to examine "Bale Tani" and "Alang" from a scientific perspective, as well as to explore their significance in terms of local wisdom and the religious beliefs of the Sasak tribe on Lombok Island. This study employs a qualitative method through an in-depth investigation. Researchers directly engage in fieldwork to conduct observations, interviews, and document the objects of study. The research data's credibility is enhanced through triangulation techniques (multiple sources and methods) and supported by relevant reference sources. From a scientific standpoint, both "Bale Tani" and "Alang" are structures designed for disaster mitigation (such as earthquakes and floods) and to protect stored items from humidity, thus preserving them. Based on local wisdom and religiosity, this research reveals several aspects. Notably, their exceptional architectural design and unique forms, which are distinct to Pulau Lombok and not found elsewhere. Their multifunctional nature is highlighted, serving as spaces for storage, rest, gatherings, seating, cooking, and other activities. The alignment of "Bale Tani" towards the east facilitates the determination of the Qibla direction for prayers. The "Alang," functioning as storage for harvest yields, carries the significance of expressing gratitude among the Sasak tribe to their deity for the bestowed sustenance. Consequently, the Sasak community practices frugality by storing their harvest in the "Alang" as a manifestation of this gratitude.

Abstract

Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan dua kelompok: kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan kelompok kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen test sebanyak 7 soal dalam bentuk uraian yang digunakan untuk tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test) untuk mengukur keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Rata-rata nilai post-test kelompok eksperimen mencapai 83,44, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya mencapai 70,19. Uji t menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung (2,93) lebih besar dari ttabel (2,04), yang menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil peneltian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah efektif dan berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan dapat dijadikan alternatif metode pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk lebih mempersiapkan aspek teknis dan non-teknis dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis masalah agar hasil yang dicapai lebih optimal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Learning Cycle 5E terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis fisika peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Batukliang Utara. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan berupa model Learning Cycle 5E dan kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Sebelum dan setelah perlakuan, kedua kelas diberikan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang berjumlah 5 soal. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 83,57 dan 75,71. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji-t. Analisis uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H???? diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Learning Cycle 5E terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis fisika peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the examples non examples learning model assisted by power point media on the science learning outcomes of class V students. The population in this study is class V SDN 3 Darek. In this research design, the research design used was a quasi-experimental research design, a non-equivalent control group design type. The data collection technique used the test method for science learning outcomes which had previously been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and differentiating power. testing requirements analysis using normality test and homogeneity test. The data analysis technique used t-test with polled variance t-test with a significance level of = 5%. the results of the polled variant t test, obtained tcount = -5,092 < ttable = 2,048 so it can be said that H0 is accepted and Ha rejected, this shows that there is no effect of the examples non examples learning model of power point media on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 3 Darek year the 2021-2022 school. Abstract

Science learning is still carried out conventionally and runs in one derection without involving students directly, as well as the lack of use of learning models and media. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model assisted by the miniature house media on the understanding of students’ concepts in the electrical circuit material at SDN 2 Sape. The research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 48 students. Data collection technique were carried out by means of a written test. The results of the study obtained an increase in the average number of students from 32.17 to 73.08. based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is obtained that the tcount value is 4.525 while the ttable value is 1.679. Because 4.525 ≥ 1.679, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant effect using the miniature house media on understanding of the students’ electric circuit concept.
