Abstract

Abstract: Physics learning should be able to provide opportunities for learners to be creative in understanding the things that learned. One of the efforts made to improve the quality of physics learning was to apply the model of project based learning with virtual media. This study aimed to examine the effect of virtual media-aided model toward students’ creativity. This quasi experimental study used pretest-posttest control group design. The research instrument used a verbal and figural creativity test which had been validated by experts. Hypothesis test used employed variance test. The increase in creativity was determined based on the results of the N-gain test. The results showed that there was an increase of students' creativity in both classes. The experiment class had a higher creativity increase than the control class. Verbal and figural creativity improved in both classes. Verbal creativity increased higher than figural creativity. This shows that the model of project based learning with virtual media that applied successfully improve the students’ creativity in physics learning.EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA VIRTUAL TERHADAP KREATIVITAS FISIKA PESERTA DIDIK Abstrak: Pembelajaran fisika seharusnya mampu memberikan peluang bagi peserta didik untuk berkreasi dalam memahami hal yang dipelajari. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran fisika adalah dengan menerapkan model project based learning berbantuan media virtual. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh model berbantuan media virtual terhadap kreativitas peserta didik. Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes kreativitas verbal dan figural yang telah divalidasi oleh para ahli. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t polled varian. Peningkatan kreativitas ditentukan berdasarkan hasil uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik pada kedua kelas. Kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan kreativitas yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Kreativitas verbal dan figural mengalami peningkatan pada kedua kelas. Kreativitas verbal meningkat lebih tinggi dibandingkan kreativitas figural. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model project based learning berbantuan media virtual yang diterapkan berhasil meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Science process skills are one of the indicators to know the level of achievement of physics teaching goals. This research examines the influence of guided inquiry models through virtual laboratories on students' science process skills. The research was a quasi-experiment conducted at the senior high school in Mataram, Lombok. The samples were class XI students, as many as 58 people divided into two sample groups: experimental and control groups. The guided inquiry model through the virtual laboratory was applied to the experimental group and the conventional model for the control group. The instrument used was a performance sheet. A t-test was used to analyze the effect of learning model on science process skill. The results of this study found that the achievement of science process skills for the experimental group was higher than the control group. The guided inquiry models through virtual laboratory have a significant effect on science process skills, especially on skills: hypothesizing, practicing, and communicating. These findings contribute significantly to the current knowledge about the effectiveness of guided inquiry models through virtual laboratories to improve students' science process skills in physics teaching.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh MTDKBI yang diintegrasikan melalui strategi kooperatif terhadap kecakapan sosial siswa. Jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah 380 siswa kelas IX SMPN 10 Mataram yang tersebar pada 10 kelas. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 142 siswa, terbagi menjadi 4 kelas dengan teknik pengambilan cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket kecakapan sosial yang diberikan pada awal dan akhir penelitian. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Anakova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) siswa yang belajar menggunakan MTDKBI berbeda signifikan pada aspek kecakapan sosial dibandingkan siswa yang belajar dengan nonMTDKBI, (2) siswa yang belajar melalui strategi kooperatif tipe STAD berbeda signifikan pada aspek kecakapan sosial dibandingkan siswa yang belajar dengan tipe NHT, (3) ada pengaruh interaksi antara jenis media dengan strategi kooperatif terhadap kecakapan sosial siswa. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh model learning cycle 5E terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa fisika kelas X, (2) mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa fisika kelas X, (3) menentukan interaksi antara model learning cycle 5E dan gaya belajar pada kemampuan berpikir kritis fisika siswa kelas X. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi exsperiment dengan desain penelitian pre-test dan post-test control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X, dan sampel dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling dan ditentukan kelas X MIA 1 sebagai eksperimen dan kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model learning cycle 5E dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model konvensional. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis dikumpulkan dengan tes esai yang terdiri dari 10 pertanyaan dan data kemampuan gaya belajar dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 30 pertanyaan. Data post-test diuji untuk abnormalitas dan homogenitas dan selanjutnya dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis varian dua arah. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan jika sig <0,05 Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan: (1) model learning cycle 5E berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa fisika kelas X, (2) gaya belajar tidak berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa fisika kelas X, (3) tidak ada interaksi antara model learning cycle 5E  dan gaya belajar pada keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa fisika kelas X. Kata kunci : model learning cycle 5E, kemampuan berpikir kritis, gaya belajar. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine (1)  the effect of learning cycle model 5E on physic student’s critical thinking skills of class X, (2) determine the effect of learning styles on physic student’s critical thinking skills of class X, (3) determine the interaction between learning cycle model 5E and learning style on physic student’s critical thinking skills of class X. This research type is quasi exsperiment with research design pre-test and post-test group control design. The population this study is all student’s of class X, and the sampe was selected by cluster random sampling technique and obtained X MIA 1 class as exsperiment and X MIA 3 class as control. The exsperiment class using  learning cycle 5E model and control class using conventional model. The critical thinking ability’s data collected by essay test that are 10 questions and the learning style ability’s data collected using questionnaires that are 30 questions. Post-test data tested for naormality and homogeneity and next with hypothesis testing using analysis of variance two ways. Hypothesis test results show if sig<0,05 Ha be accepted. So that it can be concluded: (1) learning cycle 5E model take effect on physic student’s critical thinking skills of class X, (2) learning style no effect on physic student’s critical thinking skills of class X, (3) nothing interaction between learning cycle 5E model and learning style on physic student’s critical thinking skills of class X. Keywords : learning cycle 5e model, critical thinking skills, leraning style.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendidikan bertujuan mendidik individu yang dapat menyelesaikan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah dapat dilatih dengan membiasakan peserta didik menyelesaikan sebanyak mungkin masalah melalui penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat di kelas. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan bantuan post organizer dalam rangka meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan post organizer terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan non-equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Gerung dengan populasi seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas XI MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI MIPA 7 sebagai kelas kontrol. Indikator pemecahan masalah yang dinilai adalah useful description, specific application of physics, dan mathematical procedures. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dua pihak dengan rumus t-test polled varians pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan post organizer terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik. Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing; post organizer; kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika. ABSTRACTEducation aims to educate individuals who can solve problems in daily life. Problem solving skills can be trained by getting students to settle as many problems as possible through the application of appropriate learning models in the classroom. This research was designed to integrate the guided inquiry learning model with a post organizer in order to improve students' physics problem solving skills. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning model assisted by the post organizer on students' physics problem solving skills. This research used quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Gerung with a population of all students of class XI MIPA in the academic year 2019/2020. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique, namely class XI MIPA 4 as an experimental class and XI MIPA 7 as a control class. Indicators of problem solving assessed were useful description, specific application of physics, and mathematical procedures. Hypothesis testing used two-party t-test with the formula of t-test polled variance at a significance level of 5%. The conclusion of this research indicatd that there was an influence of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by the post organizer on the students' physics problem-solving skills. Keywords: guided inquiry; post organizer; physics problem-solving skills.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian terhadap gempa volkanik gunung Merapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan hiposenter dan episenter gempa volkanik gunung Merapi dengan HIPO9. Analisis dilakukan dalam dua kawasan, yaitu kawasan waktu dan kawasan frekuensi. Dalam kawasan waktu ditentukan waktu tiba gempa volkanik. Dalam kawasan frekuensi diperoleh informasi tentang frekuensi sumber dan lebar pita frekuensi yang akan diloloskan. Hasil analisis mendapatkan frekuensi sumber 6 Hz dan lebar pita frekuensi 0,1 Hz. Hasil pengeplotan dengan HIPO9, episenter gempa volkanik cenderung mengumpul di sekitar puncak gunung merapi, dengan hiposenter gempa volkanik terdistribusi pada kedalaman 1200 m sampai 1300 m. Kata kunci : hiposenter; episenter; gunung Merapi; HIPO9; gempa volkanik.                                ABSTRACTVolcanic earthquakes of mount Merapi have been investigated. The aim of the investigation to determine the hypocenter and epicenter of the volcanic earthquake of mount Merapi by HIPO9. The analysis was carried out in two domains, the time domain and the frequency domain. The analysis in the time domain was conducted by the arrival time of volcanic earthquake. The analysis in the frequency domain was done by observing spectrum to get information on frequency of source and frequency band width passed from polarization. The analysis lead to frequency of source 6 Hz and band width of 0,1 Hz. The results of plotting with HIPO9, the epicenter of volcanic earthquakes tend to gather around the top of Mount Merapi, with the hypocenter of the volcanic earthquake distributed at a depth of 1200 m to 1300 m. Keywords: hypocenter; epicenter; mount Merapi; HIPO9; volcanic earthquake.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the 5E learning cycle model assisted by concrete media objects on the learning outcomes of natural science students in class V SDN Gugus IV Praya in the academic year of 2019/2020. This research is quasi-experimental design research with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The population in this study were students of class V SDN Gugus IV Praya. While the samples in this study were students in class V SDN Gerintuk as an experimental class and SDN 2 Wakul as a control class. The mean value of the experimental class was 74.92 and the control class was 69.66. The learning outcomes data (posttest) were normality tested using the help of SPSS 21.0 for windows program using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov’s one sample formula, then tested for homogeneity using the Levene’s test formula. The test shows that the data is normally distributed and has a homogeneous variant. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using the independent sample t-test formula, the tcount value of 2.335 obtained at a significance level of 5%, the results obtained were ttable of 2.014 so tcount> ttable = 2.335> 2.014 so it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. This shows that there is an effect of the 5E learning cycle model assisted by concrete media objects on the learning outcomes of Class V of Science Major students of SDN Gugus IV Praya in the academic year of 2019/2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning models assisted scramble toward theme 1 animal and human motion tools study result of 5thgrade at 5th selaparang sub-district school year 2019/2020. This research is experimental research with a type of quasi-experimental and the design is nonequivalent control group design. The data is collected through observation and tests. The data were analyzed with a normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test using an independent sample t-test. The analysis showed that the significant level of test = 0.00 was less than 0.05 (0.00 <0.05). Based on testing criteria, if the t-test <0.05, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that cooperative learning models assisted scramble influential toward theme 1 animal and human motion tools study result of 5th grade at 5th selaparang sub-district school year 2019/2020.

Abstract

This research is aim to know the effect of discussion method by using serial image media toward study result of science class III cluster III subdistrict of Sekarbela lesson year 2019/2020. This research using Quasi Experiental Design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample ethnic that used is Purposive Sampling, one of the researcher opinion of using this sample type because the average of study result of science students are same, that was taken from placement test. Total of this sample are 58 students. Students result data tested is normalization using kolmogorov smirnov formula said that it has normal distribution then later tested homogenitation using levene statistic formula said it has varian homogen by using SPSS 21 for windows, at the end the tested shows that the data has normal distribution and tested homogen. Then tested hypothesis using independent sample t-test formula got t-hitung 1,013 as bis as and t-table as big as 3,172 with standart of significant are 5%. The explanation above show that t-hitung > t-table so it can conclude that Haaccepted and H0rejected. This case shows that there is effect of discussion method by using serial image media toward study result of science class III cluster III subdistrict of Sekarbela lesson year 2019/2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between learning styles and science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students at SDN Gugus 2, Sape District, for the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with Ex Post Facto research techniques. The population in this study was 152 students consisting of 6 elementary schools in Cluster 2 Shape. The sample was determined using a probability sampling technique, namely proportionate stratified random sampling so that 110 students were obtained. Data collection techniques were used in this study, namely questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis to test the hypothesis with the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed that r arithmetic was 0.373 and r table was 0.618 > r table, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that there is a relationship between learning styles and science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students at SDN Cluster 2, Sape District, for the 2019/2020 Academic Year.
