Abstract

Abstract: Optimal lung function is crucial for maintaining health and contributing to an individual's quality of life. Pulmonary function testing is a method used to evaluate lung capacity and performance through spirometry. Various parameters, including vital capacity, airflow velocity, and lung volume can be measured. Spirometry assesses lung function by examining the values of inspiratory and expiratory air volumes with maximum effort. The aim of this research is to understand the overview of pulmonary function testing among students of PSKPS FK ULM Class of 2022. The research methodology employs observational descriptive research with a cross-sectional design. Probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling, was used to select 38 participants. Data collection involved measuring FVC and FEV1 values, followed by categorization based on gender, exercise habits, BMI, and smoking habits. The study's results conclude that all variables, including gender, exercise habits, BMI, and smoking history, exhibited normal values for FVC and FEV1. Keywords: lung function, spirometry, medical student Abstrak: Fungsi paru yang optimal penting dalam menjaga kesehatan dan memberikan kontribusi pada kualitas hidup seseorang. Uji fungsi paru merupakan suatu metode yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kapasitas dan kinerja paru-paru melalui alat spirometri. Melalui uji ini, berbagai parameter dapat diukur, termasuk kapasitas vital, kecepatan aliran udara, dan volume paru. Spirometri mengukur fungsi paru dengan cara melihat nilai volume udara inspirasi dan ekspirasi dengan upaya yang maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran uji fungsi paru pada mahasiswa PSKPS FK ULM Angkatan 2022. Metode penelitian menggunakan observasional deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling melalui pendekatan purposive sampling sebanyak 38 partisipan. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pengukuran nilai FVC dan FEV1 lalu dijabarkan dengan variabel jenis kelamin, kebiasaan berolahraga, IMT, dan kebiasaan merokok. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa semua variabel, baik jenis kelamin, kebiasaan berolahraga, IMT, dan riwayat merokok memiliki hasil normal pada nilai FVC dan FEV1. Kata-kata kunci: fungsi paru, spirometri, mahasiswa kedokteran

Abstract

Background: The role of Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and Platelet-to-Lymphocyte ratio (PLR) as an easy and inexpensive prognostic examination modality has different results. While the combination of the two has never been done.Objective: This study investigated the association between NLR/PLR and outcomes in advanced lung adenocarcinoma Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) mutation-positive with Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI) treatment.Methods: This retrospective study enrolled 40 medical records of lung adenocarcinoma patients treated with TKI in Ulin General Hospital from 2017-2019, with follow-up until April 1, 2021. A receiver operating curve (ROC) was performed to determine the optimal cut-off and parallel tests of NLR/PLR combination. The Kaplan-Meier was used to evaluate the impact on progressive-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS).Results: The optimal cut-off was 6.25 for NLR and 451.5 for PLR with sensitivity and specificity of PFS (31.6%, 100%, and 18.4%, 100%) and OS (32.4%, 100% and 8.9%, 100%) (AUC 0.362, 0.329 and 0.482, 0.477) respectively. Patients in NLR <6.25 and PLR <451.5 groups presented longer PFS (10 months, 95% CI:7.783 -12.217, vs. 8 months, 2.908-13.092, p=0.821; 10 months, 7.508 – 12.492 vs. 9 months, 6.434-11.566, p=0.513) and OS (20 months, 14.017-25.983 vs.16 months, 11.474-20.526, p=0.378; 20 months, 14.629-25.371 vs. 14 months, 3.735-24.265, p=0.382) but not significantly correlated.Conclusion: High pre-treatment NLR and PLR showed shorter PFS and OS, although they did not appear as a prognostic marker for PFS and OS of EGFR-mutant lung adenocarcinoma treated with TKI.

Abstract

Background. The role of peer support is one of the important roles in the HIV/AIDS management system. Peer support will run continuously if there are program sustainability factors. Objective. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the sustainability of peer support in the HIV/AIDS prevention system in Kendari City. Method. This research was carried out by collecting qualitative data and literature study. In-depth interviews were conducted with main informants and supporting informants. The instrument used was an in-depth interview guide. Results. Peer support groups can continue and play a role in the HIV/AIDS prevention system, if factors related to group sustainability can continue to develop. The sustainability factors for peer support are: 1) Internal factors, which include group motivation factors, leadership, independence and management and group accountability. 2) External factors, which include involvement in the HIV/AIDS control system, access to resources and entry into the referral system.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of using contextual inquiry-based worksheets on the higher-order thinking skills of students in aquatic microbiology. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest measures. The research population comprised six classes, and samples were drawn from three classes determined through random sampling, namely Regular Class (A) with 40 students (application of contextual inquiry-based worksheets), Extension Class (A) with 25 students (application of Problem-Based Multimedia Pedagogy - PBMP worksheets), and Extension Class (B) with 22 students (application of conventional worksheets). Data analysis was conducted using the Anacova method with SPSS 23.00 for Windows. Data were collected through descriptive test instruments in the form of essays and questionnaires. The results of the data analysis indicated that contextual inquiry-based worksheets yielded better outcomes compared to both contextual PBMP and conventional worksheets. The mean score for higher-order thinking skills was 86.93, with a significance level of 0.034, which is less than 0.005.

Abstract

Sampah merupakan salah satu masalah yang sering muncul dalam kehidupan di masyarakat. Pertumbuhan populasi dan perkembangan industri telah menyebabkan peningkatan produksi sampah anorganik, seperti plastik, kaca, logam, dan lainnya. Kreasi dari daur ulang sampah plastik merupakan kerajinan yang bisa menjadi alternatif peluang usaha. Sampah plastik dapat dibuat kerajinan tangan seperti bross, tas belanja, dompet, lampu hias, tempat pensil, keranjang, dan lain lain. Jadi, tidak hanya menyelamatkan lingkungan, sebagai produk kreatif, kreasi sampah plastik mempunyai nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. . Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kreatifitas serta menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan barang bekas menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini melalui dua tahapan yaitu, tahapan persiapan dan pelaksanaan yang disertai dengan sosialisasi, penyampaian materi, dan pelatihan kreasi. Hasil dari pelatihan pengabdian masyarakat dengan menggunakan barang bekas ini membuat siswa memiliki keterampilan dalam mengolah sampah dengan cara yang baik dan efektif yang memiliki nilai lebih ekonomis. Pemanfaatan sampah anorganik memberikan perubahan sikap siswa sehingga mempunyai minat berwirausaha dan sadar akan bahayanya sampah dilingkungan mereka tinggal.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the use of file items as a learning medium to develop the creativity of children aged 4-5 years. This type of research is a quantitative research design Pres Experimentak Desaigns, namely one Shot Case Study. The study sample consisted of 60 children in RA Al Ma'arif Jambu. Data mining techniques with interviews, observations, documentation and tests. Data analysis techniques include normality test, homogeneity, Independent Sample T-Test, Mann-Whitney U Test. The results of the study that the t-count value was 4.783 > tcount 2.093, and the sig value was 0.000 < 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average results of the post-test percentage results between the experimental class and the control class. The average score of the experimental class using used children's creativity got a score of 92 and in the conventional learning control class got a score of 80.25. Thus, experimental classes with used media can be more effectively used to improve and develop children's creativity in RA Al Ma'arif Jambu.Key Words: Utilization of Used Goods as Media, Creativity for Children Aged 4-5 Years Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan barang berkas sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan Kreatifitas Anak Usia 4 - 5 Tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif design Pres Experimentak Desaigns yaitu one Shot Case Study. Sampel penelitian terdari 60 anak di RA Al Ma`arif Jambu. Teknik penggalian data dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji Independent Sample T-Test, Uji Mann-Whitney U Test. Hasil penelitian bahwa nilai t-hitung 4,783 > thitung 2,093, dan nilai sig 0,000 < 0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil rata-ratanya hasil prosentase post-test antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata rata kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan barang bekas kreativitas anak mendapat nilai sebesar 92 dan pada kelas kontrol pembelajaran menggunakan konvensional mendapat nilai 80,25. dengan demikian maka kelas eksperimen dengan media barang bekas lebih efektif dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kreatifitas anak di RA Al Ma`arif Jambu.Kata Kunci: Pemanfaatan Barang Bekas Sebagai Media, Kreativitas Anak Usia 4 – 5 Tahun

Abstract

Tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) peningkatan minat siswa kelas XI AP 3 SMK Negeri 1 Slawi semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 (2) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI AP 3 SMK Negeri 1 Slawi semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. (3) perubahan perilaku siswa kelas XI AP 3 SMK Negeri 1 Slawi semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016, pada saat mengikuti pembelajaran statistika melalui model pembelajaranInkuiri berbasis realita.Lokasi penelitian adalah SMK Negeri 1 Slawi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas XI Ap 3 dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang . Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester 2 pada Januari sampai dengan bulan Juni 2016. Penyusunan instrumen dilaksanakan pada Januari. Bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan April untuk pengumpulan dan analisis data. Bulan Mei dan Juni untuk penyusunan laporan. PTK ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Tes Tertulis. (2) Observasi dan angket. (3). Wawancara(4). Dokumentasi. Simpulan PTK ini adalah sebagai berikut (1) Penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis realitadapat meningkatkan minat siswa. (2) Penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis realita dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI AP3 SMK Negeri 1 Slawi dalam materi statistik

Abstract

The School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS) is intended for schools to overcome the burden of education costs in order to complete twelve years of compulsory education. The government began to report BOS funds online and integrated. The development of government technology accommodates BOS recipients to report the use of funds in a timely manner. This community service program scheme is to assist in reporting the BOS Fund in Islamic Junior High Schools. The main problems of SMPI Tahfizhul Qur'an Kubu Raya Regency are: 1). Lack of IT skills in Accounting personnel for making online reports. 2). There is an unreported misuse of funds. The solution offered to overcome problems regarding BOS fund management at SMP Tahfizhul Qur'an Kubu Raya Regency is basic and secondary training on Microsoft Excel and financial accounting for online reporting. This PPM activity will improve IT and accounting capabilities for accounting personnel in the field of financial reporting of BOS funds both offline and online which are measured after the implementation of activities.

Abstract

The focus of this community service activity is to make various kinds of creativity from managing plastic waste at home specifically for the community, especially the women of Kasturian Village in Ternate City, North Maluku. This community service activity was carried out for one day, on the 13 of February 2023. The results of initial observations on this service partner found that there was still a lot of plastic waste donated by residents of the Kasturian sub-district in every existing trash can. Therefore, the service team provides counseling and at the same time practices managing waste from the smallest environment by making various kinds of creativity. The results obtained after this service are increasing the enthusiasm of the community to manage plastic waste into various kinds of creativity.Keywords: Plastic waste; Smallest Environment

Abstract

Easy access to distributed generation (DG) technology is promoting the utilization of single-phase DGs for residential purposes. Surplus energy generated by household DGs can be shared or sold to other communities through existing networks. However, the interconnection of single-phase DGs from residential generators to the distribution network requires careful handling to secure the reliability and quality of the electric power system. This paper focuses on the optimal placement of single-phase multi-type DGs on unbalanced distribution systems that are connected to nonlinear loads. The objective of this study is to minimize the power losses and voltage unbalances in the distribution networks. To verify the efficacy of this method in reducing voltage unbalances and harmonics, an optimization approach is also presented using three-phase DG. Optimal placement of DG is performed on a modified Kaliasin distribution system using an adaptive real coded genetic algorithm (ARC-GA). Simulation results demonstrate that the installation of single-phase DGs is highly effective in reducing power losses and voltage unbalances in the distribution networks.
