Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between the principal's leadership and teacher motivation at public elementary school 1 Ranteanging. The research takes a qualitative approach, combining educational, psychological, and sociological aspects. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation and then analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings show that the principal uses successful leadership strategies, such as direct direction, motivation, and active participation in school activities. The principal is described as personable, disciplined, and adaptable, promoting good conduct and rewarding accomplishments. Teacher motivation has been highlighted as a key factor in increasing productivity and creating a positive work environment. Teachers that are highly motivated exhibit increased excitement and productivity, especially when backed by leadership that recognizes their achievements. The study suggests that the principal's leadership has a substantial impact on teacher work motivation, fostering a positive environment for professional development. We propose enhancing teacher performance management and classroom learning procedures to further develop this relationship. This study emphasizes the role of leadership in developing teacher motivation and the need for effective management techniques to maintain a productive educational environment.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Education learning at SMAN 1 Nunukan Selatan, Nunukan District, North Kalimantan Province. The objectives of the research are: 1) to understand how Islamic Education teachers implement the Merdeka Curriculum at SMAN 1 Nunukan Selatan, 2) to identify the challenges faced by teachers in implementing Islamic Education through the Merdeka Curriculum, and 3) to explore the solutions provided by teachers in overcoming these challenges. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach with the research location at SMAN 1 Nunukan Selatan, Nunukan District. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, with respondents including the school principal, curriculum supervisor, Islamic Education teachers, and students. Research instruments used include the researcher, observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Data were analyzed using steps such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluded with data verification. The results show that the implementation of Islamic Education learning at SMAN 1 Nunukan Selatan has not yet been optimal in applying the Merdeka Curriculum. This is evident from the teachers' readiness, as they feel that the curriculum still requires adjustments and processes. The teaching methods continue to follow the previous curriculum patterns, and there are difficulties in preparing teaching materials. Additionally, limitations in the availability and utilization of facilities and infrastructure also pose challenges. However, Islamic Education teachers strive to optimize learning by adapting quickly, developing competencies, enhancing creativity, and utilizing technology for more effective teaching. Collaboration with colleagues and support from various parties are crucial solutions for teachers in implementing Islamic Education through the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study explores the efforts of the school principal in mitigating student violence at public elementary school 204 Sompe, Sabangparu District, Wajo Regency, through educational and da'wah-based approaches. It aims to describe the strategies employed by the principal to reduce physical, psychological, and verbal violence in the school, as well as the supporting factors and challenges faced in these efforts. The research was conducted using a descriptive, non-statistical analysis with an inductive approach. Data were collected and analyzed through deductive and inductive methods. Key findings highlight the principal’s comprehensive approach, which includes problem identification, policy formulation, partnership building, goal-setting, implementation, and evaluation. Supporting factors include the school’s location in a region known for its Islamic culture, extracurricular activities, and manageable student numbers. Challenges include resistance from students, particularly those with limited religious exposure at home, and the influence of technology on student behavior. This study contributes to understanding how educational and da'wah approaches can mitigate student violence in schools, providing insights for further research and improvements in educational practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Soppeng. Gaya Kepemimpinan seseorang dalam memimpin sangat berpengaruh dan menjadi faktor penentu bagi peningkatan dan penurunan kinerja pegawai, oleh karena itu terlihat jelas bahwa dalam setiap instansi membutuhkan gaya kepemimpinan yang efektif sebab dalam hal ini selain bergantung pada kehandalan dan kemampuan para pegawai dalam mengoperasikan unit-unit kerja yang ada dalam suatu instansi, kepemimpinan yang efektif serta gaya kepemimpinan sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan dari instansi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan sebagai variabel bebas (independen) terhadap kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel terikat (dependen). Data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 50 orang pegawai Dinas Pendidikan dan kebudayaan Kabupaten Soppeng. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepempimpinan mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien regresi untuk gaya kepemimpinan sebesar 0,608 yang dimana setiap kenaikan gaya kepemimpinan, sebesar 1% akan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai sebesar 0,608. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa Gaya Kepemimpinan memiliki peran yang penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Peningkatan kinerja tidak hanya mencakup gaya kepemimpinan, tetapi juga menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang positif, memberikan pelatihan dan pengembangan, hingga memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif. Berdasarkan temuan ini, saran yang hendak dilakukan oleh Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Soppeng, agar lebih memperhatikan gaya kepemimpinan dalam mengelola instansi dengan memperhatikan aspek-aspek kepempimpinan

Abstract

One of the highlights of the debate and controversy of polygamy is each opinion refer to the same source, namely the verses of the Koran sura an-Nisa' [4]: 2, 3, and 129, as well as a number of traditions of the Prophet Muhammad related. This article attempts to describe how mainstrem of interpretation Qur'anic verses and Prophetic traditions associated with the theme of polygamy understood deconstructivelly—by continuing to explain the relationship between text and context so appear a new interpretation of the text itself.[Salah satu hal yang menarik dari perdebatan dan kontroversi poligami adalah bahwa masing-masing pendapat merujuk pada sumber yang sama, yakni ayat al-Qur’an surah an-Nisa’ [4]: 2, 3, dan 129, serta sejumlah hadis Nabi Muhammad yang terkait. Tulisan ini mencoba untuk menguraikan bagaimana mainstrem tafsir ayat al-Qur’an dan hadis Nabi yang terkait dengan tema poligami tersebut untuk kemudian dipahami secara dekonstruktif, yakni dengan senantiasa mengurai hubungan antara teks dan konteks sehingga diharapkan munculnya pemaknaan baru terhadap teks itu sendiri.]

Abstract

Most of the students in EFL classes have less exposure and chances to speak with friends and colleagues in English. In the present study, students were situated on video. The peer feedback-based application was employed for guiding students to provide comments on peers' speaking performance. In order to investigate peer feedback, an online observation was conducted in the English education study program, online class. The online questionnaire was also done to recognize the students’ perceptions of peer feedback. The study results reveal some steps done in doing the peer-feedback-based application in terms of the learners' speaking aspects including pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary, and fluency. Moreover, it was found that the students can give feedback comprehensively to their peers. The perception of students toward peer feedback is positive and significantly helps students to improve their speaking ability. In conclusion, students have to think about their feedback before sending it to their peers. Future research should find the effectiveness of teacher feedback-based application and the correlation with the type of feedback.

Abstract

This service is entitled Recruitment and HR performance assessment at the ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative, Tangul Jaya Village, Banten Subdistrict, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten Province. This service was carried out on Saturday, August 3 2024, which was attended by 22 students and 1 supervisor at Pamulang University. This Community Service aims to analyze the recruitment process and performance assessment of human resources (HR) at the ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative, Tanggul Jaya Village, Banten Village, Kasemen District, Serang City, Banten Province. The ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative is an economic institution that plays an important role in improving the welfare of its members and the surrounding community. However, the main challenge faced is how to recruit quality human resources and carry out performance assessments effectively to ensure the achievement of cooperative goals. This Community Service uses survey methods and direct material delivery as well as simulations and discussions regarding management, financial management and product marketing via WhatsApp Business. This Community Service activity succeeded in providing understanding to ISM Karya Sinar Bahari Cooperative Members regarding Recruitment and performance assessment, Financial Management and Product marketing via business WhatsApp social media. In this way, it is hoped that this cooperative can improve the quality of its human resources and, in turn, strengthen its competitiveness and contribution to the welfare of its members and society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh modal, pengalaman kerja, teknologi, dan jenis irigasi terhadap produktivitas petani di Desa Tambak Pocok, Kecamatan Tanjung Bumi, Kabupaten Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dari hasil wawancara terhadap 60 petani yang memiliki lahan di Desa Tambak Pocok yang dipilih secara purposive. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modal, pengalaman kerja, dan teknologi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas petani sedangkan jenis irigasi tidak berpengaruh/tidak signifikan terhadap produktivitas petani di Desa Tambak Pocok Kecamatan Tanjung Bumi Kabupaten Bangkalan.Kata Kunci : Produktivitas, Modal, Pengalaman Kerja, Teknologi, dan Jenis Irigasi.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning outcomes using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative model at 4th grade of elementry school in Garegeh of Bukittinggi. The research subjects were teachers and 26 students.  Research site in Garegeh of Bukittinggi. The result showed an increase in : a)RPP cycle I 83,33% (good) and cycle II 91,67% (very good) b)implementation in the aspects of teacher cycle I 81,24% (good) and cycle II 94,44% (very good) c) aseesment of the result of student alignment with the average in cycle I 68,77 and cycle II with an average of 79,10. Based on these results it can be concluded that the numbered heads together (NHT) of cooperative model can improve integrated thematic learning outcomes in students.  Keyword: numbered Heads Together model,learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of  Value Clarification Technique (VCT) modeling method on the studnts’ learning outcome in civic education. This study is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The research was conducted in elementary school Number 13 Cingkariang Banuhampu Sub-district of Agam District with class VA as the experimental class and Class VB as the control class. Both classes have twenty five students. The data analysis technique employed was the normality test and homogeneity test, which was then followed by a t-test to see the effect of VCT. The results show that the average pretest score is 38,768 for the experimental class and 41,488 for the control class. The average posstest score is 90,68 for the experimental class and 86,32 for the control class. The result of the t-test shows that the tcount is 1,73 and the ttable on the significance level of 0,05 is 1,6772, which means that tcount>ttable. Therefore, it is concluded that the Value Clarification Technique modeling method affects the students’ learning outcome in civic education in Elementary School Number 13 Cingkariang.  Keyword : The Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Modeling Method, Students’  Learning Outcome, Civic Education.
