Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of  Value Clarification Technique (VCT) modeling method on the studnts’ learning outcome in civic education. This study is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The research was conducted in elementary school Number 13 Cingkariang Banuhampu Sub-district of Agam District with class VA as the experimental class and Class VB as the control class. Both classes have twenty five students. The data analysis technique employed was the normality test and homogeneity test, which was then followed by a t-test to see the effect of VCT. The results show that the average pretest score is 38,768 for the experimental class and 41,488 for the control class. The average posstest score is 90,68 for the experimental class and 86,32 for the control class. The result of the t-test shows that the tcount is 1,73 and the ttable on the significance level of 0,05 is 1,6772, which means that tcount>ttable. Therefore, it is concluded that the Value Clarification Technique modeling method affects the students’ learning outcome in civic education in Elementary School Number 13 Cingkariang.  Keyword : The Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Modeling Method, Students’  Learning Outcome, Civic Education.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of student in class 1 SDN 05 Puhun Pintu Kabun Bukittinggi City. The purpose of this study was to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning with a scientific approach in class 1 SDN 05 Puhun Pintu Kabun Bukittinggi City. The research subjects were researchers (practitioners), teacher (observers) and 20 students. The research location is SDN 05 Puhun Pintu Kabun Bukittinggi City. The results showed an increase in: a) observation of RPP first cycle was 86,10% (B), second cycle 97,22% (SB); b) observation of teacher aspects of first cycle 81,24% (B), second cycle 90,62% (SB); c) observation of student aspect of first cycle  84,38% (B) and second cycle 93,75% (SB); d) students learning outcomes in the first cycle 76.62 (C), and the second cycle 83,91% (B)

Abstract

Kegiatan PELATIHAN  ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan memperluas pemahaman para atlet, pelatih, official maupun pengurus seputar bagaimana pola melatihkan kondisi mental pada atlet  terutama dalam mempersiapkan sampai melaksanakan program latihan mental guna menunjang kondisi prima saat pertandingan.Desain pengabdian pada pengabdian ini adalah Pelatihan sekaligus Bimbingan Teknis ini dilakukan oleh para ahli sekaligus akademisi maupun praktisi kepelatihan olahraga/olahraga prestasi. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di Kab. Kebumen Jawa Tengah dengan subjek pengabdian yaitu para pembina, pelatih, official serta atlet PORPROV di Kab. Kebumen Jawa Tengah.Hasil pengabdian ini dapat berupa untuk mempermudah dan memberikan gambaran cara melatihkan mental serta memanajemen mental sehingga atlet tetap fokus dan percaya diri tinggi pada saat bertanding serta implementasi pemanfaatan latihan mental dalam meningkatkan prestasi atlet di Kab. Kebumen pada ajang PORPROV Jawa Tengah Tahun 2018.

Abstract

The mass media bring news about the various issues that arise in the community, including those related to communication styles of President Jokowi in communicating policies. The last case, in which ministers make "political noise" that attacked each other in front of the public, many people questioned about coordination between Jokowi and his officials. Furthermore, researchers set problems taken in the study,  1) How is the characteristic of Jokowi’s communication style in communicating policies 2) How is the communication competencies possessed by Jokowi?. Research using qualitative research methods with a macrostruktural discourse analysis approach. The population are  news about communications by President Jokowi, where the medium used is the online media. Online media selected in sampling are News.detik.com and Kompas.com which is the most popular news providers (version ALEXA per February 18, 2015). The results showed that the characteristic of Jokowi’s communication style in communicating policies in general is controlling style, although in some situations also use communication styles in accordance with existing conditions. Based on an analysis of the communication’s Jokowi in communicating policies, Jokowi’s communication competence covering aspects of commitment and confidence, empathy, flexibility, senstivity of  consequences, and proficiency.

Abstract

Tantangan pada masa kini generasi bangsa Indonesia adalah pesatnya arus globalisasi. Salah satunya kurangnya pengetahuan pelajar tentang wawasan kebangsaan. Apa lagi di daerah perbatasan yang rawan akan konflik, cinta tanah air, dan sikap nasionalisme. Kondisi Pendidikan seperti: pelaksanaan kurikulum, silabus, dan tenaga pendidik yang kurang maksimal bisa juga menambah pengambat pengetahuan pelajar tentang wawasan kebangsaan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengetahuan wawasan kebangsaan pelajar di daerah perbatasan yaitu di MIS Nurul Hudud Kecamatan Badau Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Data yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan dokumentasi dari perwakilan siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI, yang berlangsung selama 17 Juli 2019 sd 24 Agustus 2019 di MIS Nurul Hudud Kecamatan Badau Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Wawasan kebangsaan yang meliputi Pancasila, UUD 1945, NKRI, dan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Dengan melihat kondisi MIS Nurul Hudud yang terletak di daerah perbatasan sehingga perlu perhatian yang ekstra dari berbagai kalangan untuk menambah pengetahuan siswa MIS Nurul Hudud tentang wawasan kebangsaan.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the development of thematic teaching materials based on West Kalimantan local wisdom in Class III Themes 5 and 6 of Elementary Schools/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. To make it easier for researchers to collect data, the researcher describes the specific objectives of knowing aspects of material content, aspects of presentation of material, aspects of design and aspects of language in the process of developing teaching materials based on local wisdom of West Kalimantan. This research uses R&D (Research And Development) research using a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Dessiminate). In addition, researchers also use a qualitative approach to research qualitative data. The data sources in this study are the results of the validator's assessment regarding the assessment of material content validation, material presentation validation, design validation and language validation. The results of data validation can be interpreted as follows: Validation of West Kalimantan local wisdom-based thematic teaching materials in class III themes 5 and 6 of Elementary Schools/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah by six validators. 1) The material content validator is in the criteria of "Very Valid and Not Revised" with a proportion of 88.34%. 2) Validation by the material presentation validator is in the criteria of "Very Valid and Not Revised" with a proportion of 97.14%. 3) Validation by the book design validator is in the criteria of "Very Valid and Not Revised" with a proportion of 99.61%. 4) Validation by the language validator is in the criteria of "Very Valid and Not Revised" with a proportion of 90%.

Abstract

For Islamic boarding schools, the website functions as a medium of information and school introduction to the public. In order for prospective students to register easily, complete information is needed so that the boarding school can easily manage the data of prospective students. Apart from teaching and learning, teachers and students also have other activities at school. The categories of activities carried out by teachers are training, teaching, RPP (Learning Implementation Plans), and clubs or CCA (Co-Curricular Activities), while the categories of activities carried out by students are extracurricular activities, organizations, and competitions. All information on teacher and student activities requires data to be stored properly for a certain period of time. This study aims to build an information service application for registration of prospective students and recording of school activities using the extreme programming method. This application is made using the PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework, a MySQL database, and extreme programming as an application development method. Based on the tests carried out, this application can run on various browser applications, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how religious moderation is understood, developed, and strengthened among students of Islamic Education in an Islamic higher education context. In recent years, religious moderation has become a crucial societal issue amid rising polarization, radical narratives, and identity-based tensions within multicultural societies. Islamic universities are therefore challenged to translate normative discourses of moderation into lived educational practices that shape students’ cognition, attitudes, and behavior. This qualitative study employed a phenomenological approach, using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data were analyzed through data condensation, display, and verification to capture the essence of participants’ lived experiences. The findings reveal that students conceptualize religious moderation as a balanced integration of national commitment, respect for diversity, anti-violent principles, and openness to local culture. Academic factors, including curriculum integration, reflective pedagogy, and lecturers’ role modeling, significantly influence the internalization of moderation values. Non-academic activities such as interfaith dialogue, mentoring, community service, and pesantren-based programs further reinforce these values. Institutionally, structured courses, competent lecturers, and praxis-oriented strategies function as preventive mechanisms against radicalism. This study contributes theoretically by framing religious moderation as lived practice rather than mere doctrine and recommends strengthening integrative, context-sensitive strategies in Islamic higher education.

Abstract

The global ecological crisis necessitates educational approaches that foster holistic environmental awareness. Islamic boarding schools as traditional religious institutions, hold strategic potential in shaping ecological behavior through Islamic values and local wisdom. This study aims to examine the role of religious leaders and the integration of cultural values in developing green economic education within the Pondok Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School) context. A qualitative approach was employed using a case study design at Pondok Pesantren Lirboyo, Kediri, East Java. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of relevant documents. The findings reveal that the exemplary conduct of Kiai and ustad plays a crucial role in internalizing ecological values among santri. Islamic principles such as khalifah, Amanah and tawazun are embedded in daily practices, including water conservation during ablution, waste management, and collective clean-up activities. These practices are reinforced by local wisdom such as guyub rukun, tirakat and nrimo ing pandum which shape collective and sustainable ecological awareness. The study develops an organic and contextual model of green economic education rooted in the spirituality and cultural traditions of the Pesantren community. These findings confirm that environmental education does not necessarily rely on formal curricula but can emerge from grounded religious and social practices. This model offers a valuable contribution to the development of alternative sustainable education approaches, particularly in value-based and tradition-oriented communities such as Pesantren.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires educators to utilize digital learning media that are attractive, creative, and able to enhance students’ understanding. However, in many Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), the integration of technology into the teaching process is still limited, resulting in less innovative instructional delivery. This community service program was conducted to improve the competence of teachers and prospective teachers at Daarussalam Islamic Boarding School, Depok City, particularly in designing digital learning media using Microsoft PowerPoint. The training consisted of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation stage, participants were introduced to basic PowerPoint features, effective educational visual design techniques, and the integration of Islamic values into the media content. Evaluation was carried out through questionnaires and participant feedback to assess the effectiveness of the program. The results indicated that the training was highly successful, as participants were able to produce their own digital learning media and expressed increased creativity in delivering instructional materials. Thus, this training program has a positive impact on improving the quality of learning at the pesantren and is expected to support the continuous development of educators’ digital literacy.
