Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of ecotheology literacy games through in-depth learning to increase environmental awareness among students in science subjects at Medani State Elementary School. The method used in this study is qualitative, with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the use of ecotheology literacy games can increase student involvement, strengthen understanding of ecological concepts, and encourage the internalization of environmental care values. Of the 16 students involved, as many as 15 demonstrated excellent ecological awareness, as evidenced by behavioral changes, critical reflections, and concrete actions taken to maintain cleanliness and preserve the school environment. The deep learning approach helps students connect in-game experiences to everyday life, fostering more meaningful ecological understanding and attitudes. Thus, the integration of ecotheology literacy games into social studies learning has proven to be an innovative pedagogical strategy that is both relevant and appropriate for strengthening environmental education from an early age.

Abstract

General Background: Digital technology integration has become an essential component of contemporary elementary education, particularly to support interactive and student-centered learning environments. Specific Background: In Islamic Religious Education, zakat fitrah instruction at SDN 3 Mulyasari remains dominated by lecture-based methods and limited media variation, resulting in low student participation and learning activity despite widespread Android device ownership. Knowledge Gap: Existing Android-based learning media for zakat fitrah are limited in contextual design and have not sufficiently addressed student participation and activity at the elementary level. Aims: This study aimed to develop Android-based interactive learning multimedia for zakat fitrah using the ADDIE research and development model and to examine changes in student participation and learning activity. Results: The developed multimedia, validated by media, material, and language experts, achieved a feasibility score of 90.5%. Student participation increased from 72.30 to 81.10, while learning activity rose from 69.10 to 81.60, with paired sample t-test results indicating statistically significant differences. Novelty: This study presents a contextually designed Android interactive multimedia product specifically developed for zakat fitrah learning at the elementary school level. Implications: The findings indicate that Android-based interactive multimedia can serve as an alternative digital learning medium to support active participation and learning activity in Islamic Religious Education. Highlights • Android-Based Multimedia Demonstrates High Feasibility Validation• Student Participation Shows Measurable Positive Change• Learning Activity Scores Increase After Multimedia Use Keywords Interactive Learning Multimedia; Android-Based Learning; Zakat Fitrah Education; Student Participation; Learning Activity

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on Indonesia's economy, with reduced purchasing power and job losses, highlighting the need for the strategic role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in economic recovery. In Mulyoagung Village, East Java, cassava cracker MSMEs face challenges in increasing production capacity due to traditional drying methods that depend on sunlight, which is unreliable during the rainy season. This study proposes the adoption of a drying oven technology as a solution to enhance production efficiency and capacity. By implementing this technology, the production of cassava crackers increased from 200 kg/day to 500 kg/day, a 2.5-fold improvement. Additionally, the study addresses the administrative issues within MSMEs, specifically the lack of structured financial record-keeping. Through training in financial management and the use of break-even point (BEP) analysis, MSMEs were able to improve their financial tracking and decision-making processes. The combination of technological improvement and better administrative practices not only boosted production but also improved the competitiveness of the MSMEs in local and regional markets. This project demonstrates the importance of applying appropriate technology and effective management to overcome operational challenges and foster long-term business sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to identify polymorphisms in the Growth Differentiation Factor-9 (GDF-9) gene in Boerka goats using the PCR-RFLP method. A total of 60 blood samples were used for DNA isolation. Amplification of the GDF-9 gene Exon 1 produced a 462 bp fragment. Genetic diversity analysis using the HhaI restriction enzyme revealed three genotypes: GG (462 bp), GA (462, 410, and 52 bp), and AA (410 and 52 bp). The frequency of the G allele (0.925) was found to be higher than the A allele (0.075), with a dominant GG genotype frequency of 0.867. The Polymorphic Information Content (PIC) value was 0.129, indicating a low level of genetic diversity in the studied population. Descriptive analysis showed that the heterozygous GA genotype tended to have a higher average litter size than the homozygous genotypes. These results indicate that the GDF-9 gene is polymorphic in Boerka goats and has the potential to be used as a molecular marker in breeding programs.

Abstract

This study examines the contribution of Sharia finance, particularly Islamic financial philanthropy, to sustainable social development and identifies strategic measures required to enhance its effectiveness. Sustainable social development demands an inclusive economic system that promotes social justice, equitable wealth distribution, and long-term community welfare. Islamic finance, grounded in ethical values and principles of social solidarity, provides redistributive instruments such as zakat, waqf, infaq, and sadaqah that can support these objectives. This research employs a qualitative literature study approach by reviewing and analyzing relevant sources, including academic journals, classical Islamic texts, and scholarly publications related to Islamic finance and sustainable development. Through a systematic examination of the literature, this study explores the conceptual and practical linkages between Islamic financial philanthropy and sustainable social outcomes. The findings reveal that Islamic financial philanthropy plays a significant role in poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, and social inclusion. However, its potential to foster sustainable development depends on effective strategic implementation. Recommended strategies include designing programs aligned with community needs, strengthening collaboration with governmental and private institutions, expanding regional and international partnerships, and improving data management systems to ensure transparency and accountability. Through these measures, Sharia finance can contribute more effectively to sustainable and inclusive social development.

Abstract

Learning in pesantren is often perceived as a traditional system that lags behind modern educational institutions. However, various digitalization efforts have been undertaken as a form of adaptation to the advancement of science and technology. Nevertheless, studies on podcast-based learning in pesantren remain limited. This study aims to analyze the implementation of podcast-based learning, its implications for the learning process, and the challenges faced at Pesantren Darul Ilmi. This research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the pesantren leader, assistant teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that podcast-based learning functions as a complementary medium that supports conventional methods such as lectures, simulations, and role-playing. Its implications include enhancing students’ knowledge, strengthening social education, and expanding the promotion of the pesantren through digital media. However, its implementation still faces limitations in resources and the absence of dedicated management. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening management systems to ensure the sustainability of digital learning innovation in pesantren.
