Abstract

The concept of waqf, or Islamic philanthropy, has a long history in Indonesia, playing a significant role in the development of Muslim communities. Recent innovations in the digital era have opened up new opportunities for optimizing waqf management and its potential for supporting sustainable development in developing countries. This qualitative study aims to explore the role of digital waqf innovations in maximizing the potential for sustainable development in Indonesia, a developing country with the world's largest Muslim population. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis of various journal articles, books, and other relevant sources, this research examines the practices of digital waqf innovations in developing countries. The findings highlight the potential of digital waqf innovations, such as crowdfunding, blockchain technology, and mobile applications, to enhance the efficiency, accountability, and reach of waqf management. These technologies can expand the collection of waqf funds, increase transparency, and facilitate easier access for the public to participate in waqf. Additionally, data analytics can be utilized to identify community needs and allocate waqf assets more effectively to support sustainable economic programs. However, challenges such as the need for increased digital literacy, public trust in digital waqf management, and the alignment of waqf regulations with digital technology advancements must be addressed. This study provides insights and recommendations for stakeholders in developing countries, particularly Indonesia, to harness digital waqf innovations for more optimal support of sustainable development programs.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out how the concept of cash waqf model to achieve economic independence of pesantren and its implementation at STIBA Ar Raayah. This research uses a literature study with a qualitative approach. The results of this study highlight the importance of professional and trustworthy cash waqf investment management and the role of sustainable management in developing cash waqf models for education, especially in STIBA Ar Raayah Islamic boarding schools. The pesantren must be able to develop its capabilities by running a business independently to maintain its existence and no longer depend on its operational funding on students or donors. In terms of higher education pesantren, STIBA Ar Raayah Pesantren has a considerable potential for cash waqf of IDR 71,565,000 per month or IDR 858,780,000 per year or equivalent to USD 52,702 per year (assuming USD1 = IDR 16,269.06 as of June 05, 2024).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Operating Leverage (OL), Financial Leverage (FL) terhadap Earning Per Share (EPS) baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan industri farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Metode penelitian dengan pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Asosiatif dan Kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi pada peusahaan farmasi terdiri dari 11 perusahaan dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 4 perursahaan. Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari, Operating Leverage (OL) dan Financial Leverage (FL), dan variabel dependen yaitu Earning Per Share (EPS). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Asumsi Klasik, Regresi Linear Berganda, Uji Hipotesis, dan Koefisien Determinasi dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program software SPSS (Statistic Package for The Social Sciens) versi 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Operating Leverage (OL) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Earning Per Share (EPS), Financial Leverage (FL) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap Earning Per Share (EPS), Operating Leverage (OL) dan Financial Leverage (FL) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap Earning Per Share (EPS).

Abstract

The worsening sales trend of Jepara furniture exporters as a result of substandard marketing performance is the driving force for this research. Currently, a company's ability to improve its marketing performance is very important because it shows how well the company can meet its sales targets in the market. An effective method for identifying problems that impact a company's competitiveness and sustainability is to examine its marketing performance and the factors that influence that marketing performance. This study shows market sensing capabilities, dynamic capabilities, and new product development that can be used by Jepara furniture exporters to improve their marketing performance. This survey involved 60 respondents and used quantitative techniques. Purposive sampling is used in the sampling procedure. The research utilizes multiple linear regression analysis for data examination. Research findings show that market sensing capability, dynamic capabilities, and new product development all influence marketing performance. In this research, expanding market sensing capabilities, dynamic capabilities and new product development are recommended for Jepara furniture export companies. Thus, the furniture export business in Jepara will have better marketing performance.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is a significant global public health issue, with a prevalence of 35.5% in 2023, according to the Global Anemia Estimates 2025 from the World Health Organization (WHO). The prevalence of anemia among reproductive-aged women is 30.7%, while it is 30.5% in non-pregnant women. This indicates that anemia is more prevalent among pregnant women compared to the general female population, highlighting the need for greater attention to this health issue. This study aims to identify and evaluate the risk factors or causes of anemia in pregnant women using an observational analytical approach. The research design employed is cross-sectional, which allows for the observation of the relationship between maternal knowledge about anemia and the occurrence of anemia in pregnant women at the same point in time. The study population consists of all pregnant women who visit the community health center (Puskesmas) for checkups. The results indicate that there is no significant relationship between parity (number of previous births) and the occurrence of anemia in pregnant women, with an Odds Ratio (OR) of 1.58. This means that women with higher parity are 1.58 times more likely to experience anemia compared to women with lower parity. However, the study found a significant relationship between maternal knowledge about anemia and the occurrence of anemia in pregnant women. Mothers with better knowledge about anemia are less likely to experience it. This study is expected to provide important information about the importance of improving maternal knowledge regarding anemia, which can contribute to the prevention and control of anemia in pregnant women. By enhancing maternal knowledge, it is hoped that the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women can be reduced, improving the overall health of both mothers and their unborn children.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh laba bersih dan arus kas operasi terhadap kebijakan dividen pada PT. Aneka Tambang Persero, Tbk periode 2014-2023. Laba bersih dan arus kas operasi adalah faktor penting dalam menentukan kebijakan dividen perusahaan. Namun, hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa laba bersih dan arus kas operasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen perusahaan secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun perusahaan menghasilkan laba dan arus kas operasi yang positif, faktor lain seperti strategi perusahaan dan kebutuhan modal lebih memengaruhi keputusan pembagian dividen. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan disarankan untuk lebih meningkatkan kinerja keuangan dan pengelolaan arus kas untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan pemegang saham dan membuat kebijakan dividen lebih konsisten.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of attention to aspects of Shari'a in building houses and the lack of ability of the head of the family to provide a decent place to live for his children and wife, having many children certainly has a big challenge in the introduction of Islamic education at home. Activities that are private mixed beds between boys and girls who are baliqh, and other activities will certainly have an impact on the psychology of children's education. The research aims to explore theories of Islamic education and health sciences related to housing that are by Islamic concepts. This research is based on a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive analysis based on secondary data in Islamic education theories, as well as taken from various studies, literature and previous studies. From this research, it is known that the home is a very important place to instill Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the influence of Times Interest Earned Ratio and Total Asset Turnover on Return on Assets at PT Mayora, Tbk. The research sample consisted of 11 financial reports starting from 2011-2021. The type of data is quantitative, while the data source is secondary. Documentation data collection method, which is obtained by downloading financial reports via www.idx.co.id/id. Quantitative descriptive data analysis method with statistical analysis tools. Analysis includes classic assumption tests, multiple liner analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, t test and f test. The results of the research state that the Times Interest Earned Ratio variable has an influence on Return on Assets (ROA), the Total Asset Turnover variable has no influence on Return on Assets (ROA), the Times Interest Earned Ratio and Total Asset Turnover simultaneously have a significant effect on Return on Assets in PT. Mayora Indah Tbk. The ability of the independent variable to explain changes in the dependent variable is shown by an Adjusted Square value of 53.1%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, memaparkan dan menganalisis akar masalah, evaluasi dan rekomendasi Komisi IV DPR terhadap kebijakan tata kelola pupuk bersubsidi serta dampak pemberian pupuk bersubsidi terhadap peningkatan produktivitas pertanian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode atau pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan tipe penelitiannya eksploirasi (exploratory research) yang tujuannya tidak jauh berbeda dengan semua kegiatan ilmiah lainnya, yaitu menjelajah (to explorate), menggambarkan (to description), dan menjelaskan (to explain). Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan kepada pemerintah untuk segera melakukan perbaikan manajemen tata kelola pupuk bersubsidi dengan merevisi Permendag No. 15 Tahun 2013, peningkatan anggaran, update sistem dan valididasi data e-RDKK, penyederhanaan mekanisme penebusan pupuk bersubsidi, transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam penunjukan distribustor, agen/pengecer resmi pupuk bersubsidi, penguatan sistem pengawasan dengan menambah anggaran untuk pengawasan serta perlibatan BUMDes dan koperasi dalam rantai distribusi/penyaluran pupuk bersubsidi. Selain itu, pemerintah juga harus mampu menciptakan alternatif kebijakan terhadap kelangkaan pupuk bersubsidi melalui 2 (dua) model yakni meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan pupuk dengan pemupukan berimbang dan pemanfaatan pupuk organik dan pupuk hayati.

Abstract

Based on Government Regulation no. 26 of 2023 concerning management of sedimentation results in the sea. This research aims to find out the economic and environmental impacts that occurred as a result of the passing of Government Regulation no. 26 of 2023 concerning management of sedimentation results in the sea. This research uses a qualitative approach using the desk study method, namely a way of collecting data and information through data examination and analysis, using secondary data in the form of internal/external documents, government regulations, statistical data, literature studies, maps and the internet, and the data analysis technique used in this research uses Milles and Hubberman's theory, namely the steps of data reduction, data presentation and finally drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the economic and environmental impact due to the management of marine sedimentation as ratified by Government Regulation Number 26 of 2023 on coastal communities has quite a significant impact, as felt by the coastal communities of the Riau Islands, namely that they have to experience reduced fish catches, this is of course due to due to fish habitat (undersea ecosystem) which has been damaged due to sea sand dredging, apart from that, fishermen's operational costs for going to sea are increasingly expensive because they have to spend more money to buy diesel/ship fuel, because the fishing areas are increasingly far from This is the impact of sand dredging and marine sedimentation management that lacks supervision from the government, as well as minimal punishment for investors/business actors who violate management regulations.
