Abstract

The Land Bank Agency faces various challenges, these challenges include limited accurate spatial data, frequent agrarian conflicts between indigenous peoples, farmers, and large companies, and weak coordination between government institutions. In addition, policy implementation is often hampered by bureaucratic issues, overlapping regulations, and low community participation in the decision-making process. Therefore, an innovative approach and learning from best practices in other countries that have previously implemented similar policies are needed. One country that has long experience in implementing agrarian reform is Malaysia. Through the establishment of The Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) in 1956. The type of research that researchers use in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. The approach used in this study is normative juridical descriptive. The research was conducted by literature study to obtain legal materials and using document study techniques. The Malaysian land bank, FELDA, has been established for a long time, namely in 1956, compared to the Indonesian Land Bank Agency, which only had definite regulations in 2021 and FELDA has a different implementation mechanism compared to Indonesia, namely FELDA focuses more on implementing land banks in the agricultural sector, while the implementation of land banks in Indonesia tends to be relatively new.

Abstract

This study aims to explore student satisfaction with the use of podcasts as a learning medium in the Non-News Radio Production course. A qualitative approach was used, with three open-ended questions posed to students: (1) What different experiences did you have when listening to the course material via podcast?(2) Did listening to the course material through podcasts help you focus on understanding the material? And why? And (3) provide your opinion on the Adapto podcast material shared during the Non-News Radio Production course in the 4th semester. The data obtained was thematically analyzed to identify the main emerging themes. The results indicate that students appreciated the flexibility and ease of access provided by the podcasts. Some students felt that podcasts helped them focus better and understand the materials, while others mentioned challenges in maintaining concentration. Feedback on the Adapto podcast content was generally positive, though students also offered suggestions for improvement. These findings suggest that podcasts hold significant potential as an effective learning medium, especially in audio-based courses such as Non-News Radio Production. However, to maximize its benefits, attention should be given to content design and the integration of interactive elements to enhance students’ engagements.

Abstract

Banana harvesting generates abundant waste, such as stems, which are generally left to decompose, even though they can be used as fermented livestock feed. This applied research aims to utilize banana stem waste (gedebog) through a fermentation process as a high-quality alternative feed for cattle, particularly in the Bone area. This activity uses an applied research approach combined with participatory action in the Bone region. The project partners are members of livestock farmer groups who are directly involved in the feed-making process. The main materials used are chopped banana stems mixed with fermentation ingredients such as bran, sugar, and microbial inoculants (e.g., EM4). The fermentation process is carried out in a closed environment for 7–14 days. Data are obtained through direct observation, brief interviews, livestock palatability tests, and documentation, and then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The analysis results show that processing agricultural waste from banana stems into high-quality animal feed produces very high palatability for cattle, characterized by a distinctive aroma and a high consumption rate. Group members of farmers also experienced an increase in knowledge and experience in feed provision, especially during the dry season

Abstract

The loan eligibility assessment for retired employees is a crucial process requiring quick and accurate evaluation to support sound credit decision-making. This research develops a pension loan eligibility classification system using the K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) method at Bank BTPN Palembang. The dataset consists of 240 retired customers with attributes including Pension Salary, Loan Amount, 70% Salary, Monthly Installment, Remaining Salary, Credit History, Age, and Target Label. Data preprocessing includes duplicate removal, normalization, encoding, and train-test splitting. The optimal k value is determined using the Elbow method. Experimental results show that K-NN with k = 5 achieves an accuracy of 95.83%. Precision values reach 0.92 for the Eligible class and 1.00 for the Ineligible class, while recall scores are 1.00 and 0.92, with F1-scores of 0.96 for both classes. The confusion matrix indicates 45 correct classifications out of 48 test cases, with only 3 misclassifications. These results demonstrate that the K-NN method effectively supports objective loan eligibility assessments in the financial sector.

Abstract

Purpose: The Abdimas team aims to empower Baduy women to read, write, and count, as well as provide health education related to PHBS and demonstrate a healthy toilet renovation Methodology/approach: The community service activities were carried out in Kanekes Village, Baduy Luar, from May to July 2024. The community service approach involved training 40 Baduy women to participate in health education and simple reading, writing, and counting training over three months, including building an example of a healthy toilet Results/findings: Of the 40 who participated until the final evaluation, only 15 remained. This is related to the constraints of the distance to the location, which is far from their homes (activities are centered at the Jaro official residence), and the establishment of a healthy place to wash, bathe, and use the restroom (MCK). Conclutions: The enthusiasm of Baduy women to improve family welfare and increase knowledge is very strong, but it requires support from the local government to assist residents by conducting reading, writing, and arithmetic classes in small groups in adjacent houses. Additionally, there is a need for financial support for the renovation of healthy public toilets. Limitations: The duration of the program may not be sufficient to measure the long-term impact on family well-being and changes in health behavior. Contribution: This community services provides a contextual approach to empowering women in indigenous communities such as Baduy Luar, which are typically seldom reached by modern education and health interventions

Abstract

A system of licensing is in place for enterprises in the lodging sector that is based on the degree of risk the firm poses. This system is known as accommodation risk-based business licensing. In this method, a number of potential risks to the company are evaluated before a permit is granted. These potential dangers may have nothing to do with safety, health, the environment, or anything else at all. Businesses providing lodging must adhere to all relevant rules and regulations and operate in a safe and responsible manner, which is why this permission is necessary. Law No. 10 of 2009 Concerning Tourism is the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Regulating Tourism. Many facets of the tourist industry, including lodging, are addressed by this statute. When it comes to developing tourism in a way that is both comprehensive and sustainable, this legislation governs the roles and responsibilities of the community, visitors, businesses, federal, and state governments. Consequently, this licensing aids in shielding the public and customers from any harm caused by the activities of housing businesses. Job Creation Law No. 6 of 2023 governs risk-based licensing, which includes lodging enterprises. A risk-based licensing system is put in place by the government under the Job Creation Law to streamline the licensing procedure for business actors.

Abstract

Namun, UU ITE Pasal 27 ayat (3) jo Pasal 45 ayat (1) mengatur hukuman pidana atas pencemaran nama baik via TikTok.
