Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of cafe atmosphere, menu variety, and price on customer satisfaction at Cafe Kopi Kita in West Tulang Bawang. The rapid growth of the culinary sector has led to intense competition, requiring business owners to understand the factors driving customer satisfaction. This research employs a quantitative approach. The population includes all customers of Cafe Kopi Kita, with a sample of 138 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that cafe atmosphere and price have a significant partial effect on customer satisfaction. However, menu variety does not significantly influence satisfaction. Simultaneously, cafe atmosphere, menu variety, and price significantly affect customer satisfaction. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.436 indicates that these variables explain 43.6% of the variation in customer satisfaction. This suggests that to maximize satisfaction, the management should focus more on enhancing the physical environment and maintaining competitive pricing strategies rather than excessively expanding menu variations.

Abstract

This research aims to establish a classification model for the prediction of procurement winning outcomes based on bid value and owner cost estimation data. The main challenge in procurement analysis lies in severe class imbalance and complex non-linear relationships among pricing and procurement attributes. The research object utilizes procurement tender data from PT Pos Indonesia, including project owner, owner cost estimation, bid value, and procurement method. The proposed approach integrates hybrid SMOTE and Tomek links for class balancing, regulation-driven feature engineering, and a stacking ensemble model optimized using particle swarm optimization. The stacking framework combines Random Forest, Extra Trees, and Gradient Boosting as base learners. The experimental evaluation demonstrates that the proposed approach delivers the strongest performance, achieving an AUC of 0.92, an accuracy of 0.89, and an F1-Macro of 0.81, thereby surpassing all individual classifiers and homogeneous ensemble methods considered in this study. This study concludes that the hybrid optimization-based ensemble approach is effective for improving procurement winning prediction accuracy and provides a reliable decision-support tool for data-driven and regulation-compliant procurement processes.

Abstract

In modern logistics operations, behavioral data-based customer segmentation plays a crucial role in optimizing service delivery and achieving competitive differentiation. This study proposes a clustering-based approach using K-Means, Agglomerative, and Gaussian Mixture to segment sender-level customer profiles in a logistics network based on shipping cost and delivery duration, while customer satisfaction is used for post-cluster profiling and interpretive analysis. A comprehensive preprocessing pipeline is implemented, including temporal feature engineering and sender-based statistical aggregation. Grid search is used for hyperparameter tuning, and clustering performance is evaluated using the Silhouette Score, Calinski-Harabasz Index, and Davies-Bouldin Index. The results indicate that K-Means with two clusters achieves the highest silhouette score (0.843), outperforming the aggregative and Gaussian mixture models. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) reveals clear separability between clusters labeled as Efficient Senders and Costly & Slow Senders. These findings provide actionable information for logistics service providers to improve pricing strategies, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction through intelligent segmentation.

Abstract

Improving operational efficiency is a major challenge for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) amidst business competition and limited resources. Process innovation is often viewed as an internal mechanism capable of increasing efficiency, but previous empirical findings show inconsistent results. This study aims to analyze the effect of process innovation on MSME operational efficiency and examine the role of supply chain integration as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through a survey of 80 MSMEs in Bandar Lampung City and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that process innovation has a positive and significant effect on operational efficiency. Supply chain integration also has a significant positive effect on operational efficiency. Furthermore, the results of the moderation analysis confirm that supply chain integration significantly weakens the relationship between process innovation and operational efficiency. These findings indicate that the effectiveness of process innovation in improving MSME operational efficiency is highly dependent on the level of supply chain integration. This study makes an empirical contribution to the operations management and supply chain management literature by emphasizing the importance of synergy between internal capabilities and external integration in improving the operational performance of MSMEs in the context of developing countries.

Abstract

Indoor air quality (IAQ) monitoring in industrial spaces is vital to protect workers from particulate matter exposure (PM₁, PM₂.₅, PM₁₀). Yet, many low-cost IoT systems prioritize outdoor, wide-area deployments and rarely confront two issues that matter indoors: inter-node measurement consistency when multiple identical sensors are co-located, and firmware-level transmission efficiency for Wi-Fi nodes operating under energy and bandwidth constraints. This work addresses both by presenting a reproducible, low-cost IAQ node built on an ESP32 (S3) and a PMS7003, coupled with a lightweight, on-device data-deduplication routine that suppresses redundant packets before they reach the network stack. The node integrates temperature–humidity sensing, RTC-GNSS for stable timestamps, local SD logging, a compact display for in-situ readouts, and standard Wi-Fi for infrastructure-friendly connectivity, enabling autonomous operation with optional MQTT back-end integration. We evaluate the design via a 24-hour co-location test of four identical nodes in a controlled indoor room (5-minute sampling). Minute-aligned time series are analyzed using one-way ANOVA to quantify inter-node agreement. Results indicate no statistically significant differences among nodes for PM₁, PM₂.₅, and PM₁₀ (p > 0.05), confirming internal consistency suitable for simultaneous multi-point monitoring. The deduplication routine reduces transmissions by ≈3.2% without information loss, modest per device, but compounding across dense deployments to lower network load and energy use. Together, these outcomes validate (i) a practical hardware–firmware stack for low-cost IAQ sensing in indoor factories, (ii) a deployable firmware strategy for network-efficient reporting, and (iii) an empirical inter-node consistency assessment using co-location and ANOVA. The approach facilitates scalable, accurate, and efficient IAQ surveillance for occupational safety programs and compliance workflows. Future work will extend to longer horizons, drift characterization, and integration with adaptive, event-driven analytics and calibration pipelines for robust industrial rollouts.
