Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has revolutionized the dissemination of Islamic da’wah (proselytizing), necessitating young generations, particularly university students, to become adaptive and creative agents of da’wah utilizing digital media. However, limitations in technical skills and low levels of digital literacy and communication ethics remain serious challenges. This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of students in producing digital da’wah content that is informative, engaging, and consistent with the principles of moderate Islamic da’wah. The training program was conducted over three days using a participatory approach, covering digital literacy, content production techniques, and Islamic communication ethics. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding, rising from an average score of 58.3 in the pre-test to 84.1 in the post-test, with an N-Gain score of 61.8%. Furthermore, 87% of participants successfully produced da’wah content in video format, and 73% of them established dedicated social media accounts to disseminate their da’wah content. This training proved effective in transforming students’ roles from passive consumers into active creators of digital da’wah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kualitas pendidikan dalam memperkuat daya saing Madrasah Aliyah Al Hadi Girikusuma. Kualitas pendidikan di madrasah ini dilihat dari kompetensi guru, inovasi pembelajaran, manajemen pendidikan, dan fasilitas pendukung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi guru dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran berdampak signifikan terhadap mutu pendidikan. Manajemen pendidikan yang efektif dan fasilitas yang memadai juga mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan secara berkelanjutan. Konsekuensinya, Madrasah Aliyah Al Hadi Girikusuma mampu memperkuat daya saingnya, yang terlihat dari akreditasi A, meningkatnya jumlah pendaftar, prestasi akademik dan non-akademik, serta kesiapan lulusan dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan lanjutan maupun dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kualitas pendidikan adalah fondasi utama dalam memperkuat daya saing madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang unggul.

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget pada malam hari semakin umum di kalangan mahasiswa dan berpotensi memengaruhi pola tidur serta kedisiplinan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan gadget pada malam hari dan kebiasaan terlambat hadir di perkuliahan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner daring yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa sebagai responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji korelasi untuk mengetahui kekuatan dan arah hubungan antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang signifikan antara penggunaan gadget pada malam hari dan frekuensi keterlambatan kuliah, di mana semakin tinggi durasi penggunaan gadget malam hari, semakin besar kecenderungan mahasiswa untuk datang terlambat. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran empiris mengenai dampak perilaku digital terhadap kedisiplinan akademik dan dapat dijadikan dasar untuk pengembangan strategi edukatif terkait manajemen waktu dan penggunaan gadget yang lebih sehat. Kata kunci: penggunaan gadget, pola tidur, keterlambatan kuliah, korelasi, mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing on the consumptive behavior of students at Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif. The research is based on the increasing use of digital and social media platforms as promotional tools that shape young consumers’ purchasing patterns. A quantitative approach with a descriptive associative method was employed. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 100 active students using a 6-point Likert scale. The results revealed that all items were valid and reliable, with Cronbach’s Alpha values of 0.838 for digital marketing and 0.920 for consumptive behavior. The regression equation obtained was Y = -21.34 + 1.05X, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.3847. This indicates that digital marketing has a positive and significant influence on students’ consumptive behavior. These findings align with previous studies by Lestari and Hidayat (2023) and Kusuma and Sari (2022), which confirmed that digital promotions play a key role in increasing the consumptive tendencies of young consumers.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the phenomenon of rapid digitalization and the widespread use of social media among students, which has significantly affected values, morals, and character formation in Islamic education. The main problem addressed in this research is how social media acts as a “tsunami” that shakes the foundations of Islamic education in terms of students’ behavior, ethics, and spirituality. The purpose of this study is to explore teachers’ perspectives on the influence of social media on Islamic education in the digital era. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a field research approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving eight teachers at MTs Al-Ikhlas Poso. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and verification. The findings reveal that social media has both positive and negative impacts; however, teachers perceive its negative effects as more dominant. The observed impacts include declining morality, diminished respect for teachers, social media addiction, reduced learning motivation, and increased impolite behavior and bullying among students. The study concludes that social media has become a “tsunami” in Islamic education due to its massive and destructive influence when not balanced with Islamic values and digital literacy. Therefore, an adaptive Islamic education strategy rooted in akhlakul karimah (noble character) is urgently needed to wisely navigate the wave of digitalization

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) secara parsial maupun total untuk beberapa wilayah yang terdampak paling parah. Sebagaimana halnya negara-negara lain yang sama-sama terdampak dan memberlakukan pembatasan aktivitas warganya, Pemerintah Indonesia juga melarang penyelenggaraan aktivitas massal dan kerumunan. Secara bertahap, pemerintah daerah juga melakukan penutupan akses jalan-jalan menuju dan dari luar kota, dan bahkan gang-gang tiap wilayah rukun warga, dikunci gembok dan dirantai disertai pemberitahuan status pembatasan aktivitas yang secara keseluruhan bertujuan untuk menekan penyebaran virus ini. Hampir seluruh kegiatan dalam kehidupan sehari- hari seperti belajar, bekerja, berkomunikasi, bahkan berbelanja kini dapat dilakukan dari rumah dengan menggunakan smartphone ataupun laptop. Hal ini tentu membawa dampak signifikan terdapat kehidupan sosial-budaya dan gaya hidup masyarakat. Tujuan: Adapun tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini yaitu untuk melakukan studi literatur review tentang dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap sosial budaya dan gaya hidup masyarakat. Metode: Studi ini menggunakan metode literature review dengan pendekatan narative review. Artikel didapatkan dari pencarian database seperti Google Scholar, Elsevier, Perpustakaan Nasional, Pubmed dan Biomed Central. Kriteria artikel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang sudah dibuat oleh peneliti yakni jurnal berbahasa indonesia dan inggris dari berbagai negara. Hasil: Berdasarkan kajian beberapa penelitian dalam kajian ini, selama masa pandemi Covid-19 telah terjadi prubahan sosial budaya dan gaya hidup yang signifikan, terutama pada penyintas Covid-19. Diana et al., yang menyebutkan bahwa terdapat diskriminasi bagi para penyintas covid-19. Diskriminasi terkait COVID dilaporkan oleh 16,58% responden yang mengikuti survey online di Kanada. Responden dengan kondisi non-kulit putih, petugas kesehatan dan peserta yang lebih muda lebih mungkin mengalami diskriminasi daripada responden kulit putih. Berkaitan dengan gaya hidup, pola diet para pemuda yang berpartisipasi pada salah satu penelitian menyebutkan bahwa pola diet telah berubah secara signifikan selama lockdown COVID-19, dengan heterogenitas yang diamati pada tingkat yang berbeda antara jenis kelamin dan lintas pendidikan. Penggunaan teknologi informasi terutama sosial media yang semakin masif serta pola kebiasan baru yang harus dapat diadopsi dengan cepat oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi pola hidup secara keseluruhan. Kesimpulan: Coronavirus telah meningkatkan ketakutan di antara orang-orang di seluruh dunia yang secara langsung mempengaruhi semua dimensi sosial budaya seperti pendidikan, ekonomi, ketimpangan dan kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, budaya, agama, persepsi risiko, dan aktivitas bunuh diri seseorang. Tidak hanya sosial-budaya tetapi juga gaya hidup yang berubah selama masa pandemi. Kebijakan PSBB telah membawa banyak dampak pada gaya hidup masyarakat terutama cara pandang terhadap kesehatan fisik dan mental selama masa pandemi.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini diarahkan untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan nilai ekonomi produk lokal melalui penerapan pemasaran kreatif pada UMKM Aneka Kerupuk “Fajar Putra” di Kota Serang, Banten. UMKM ini memiliki potensi produk yang baik, namun belum diimbangi dengan strategi pemasaran, inovasi produk, dan desain kemasan yang optimal. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, pelatihan, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan yang berfokus pada pengembangan variasi produk, perancangan kemasan yang lebih menarik, dan pemanfaatan media digital sebagai sarana promosi. Implementasi strategi tersebut menunjukkan dampak positif berupa peningkatan daya tarik produk, penguatan citra merek, serta perluasan jangkauan pasar. Hasil evaluasi pascakegiatan mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan penjualan dan minat konsumen dalam kurun waktu dua bulan setelah penerapan strategi pemasaran kreatif berbasis digital. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PKM ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam pemberdayaan UMKM serta dapat dijadikan referensi bagi pengembangan usaha lokal lain dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

This study explores primary school teachers’ perceptions of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research was conducted in selected primary schools in Ciamis, Indonesia. Participants were purposively selected and consisted of teachers who had experience implementing the Independent Curriculum. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and supported by observations and document analysis. Thematic analysis was employed to identify key patterns and meanings from participants’ experiences. The findings reveal that teachers generally hold positive perceptions of the Independent Curriculum, viewing it as a progressive reform that promotes instructional flexibility and student-centered learning. Teachers reported increased opportunities to address diverse student needs through project-based activities and formative assessment. However, significant challenges were also identified, particularly limited understanding of differentiated instruction, difficulties with authentic assessment, and increased administrative workload. These constraints often resulted in partial curriculum implementation. Institutional support emerged as a critical factor influencing teachers’ confidence and adaptability. Teachers who received continuous professional development and leadership support demonstrated greater readiness to apply innovative teaching strategies. In contrast, disparities in training opportunities and learning resources contributed to uneven implementation across schools. To address these challenges, teachers adopted adaptive strategies such as peer collaboration, joint lesson planning, and self-directed learning. The study concludes that while teachers largely embrace the philosophy of the Independent Curriculum, effective implementation requires sustained professional development, reduced administrative burden, equitable resource distribution, and strong school leadership. These findings highlight the importance of context-sensitive support systems to ensure meaningful curriculum transformation at the primary education level.

Abstract

This article examines the Islamic educational values embedded in the traditional practice of Pekandeana Ana-Ana Maelu within the Lembaga Adat of the Sultanate of Buton. This tradition functions not only as a cultural ritual but also as a medium for transmitting Islamic values within the social life of the community. The study aims to identify and analyze the Islamic educational values reflected in the tradition and to examine their relevance to character formation based on local wisdom. This research employs a library research method using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through a systematic review and analysis of written sources, including books, scholarly journals, academic articles, theses, and customary documents relevant to the topic, and were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that Pekandeana Ana-Ana Maelu embodies core Islamic educational values, including faith (aqidah), worship (ibadah), morality (akhlaq), and social responsibility, which are internalized through ritual stages, symbolic meanings, and the institutional role of customary authorities. The study concludes that this tradition serves as an effective form of non-formal Islamic education that strengthens religious character and cultural identity in Buton society, with important implications for the development of contextual Islamic education grounded in local culture.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies employed by Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering students’ learning enthusiasm through the implementation of interactive quizzes and to analyze students’ responses to the use of these quizzes at SDN 2 Bataraguru. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The interviews were conducted in a semi-structured manner to explore information regarding learning strategies, the use of interactive quizzes, and students’ responses during the learning process. The results indicate that teachers applied various learning strategies, such as ice-breaking activities, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, the use of Student Worksheets (LKPD), and the utilization of digital media such as Wordwall and Canva. The implementation of interactive quizzes was able to create a more dynamic learning atmosphere, increase student participation, and reduce boredom in learning. Students showed active and enthusiastic responses and became more confident in answering questions. Supporting factors in the implementation of interactive quizzes include the availability of facilities such as LCD projectors and adequate internet access. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include network disturbances and unfavorable weather conditions. This study concludes that interactive quizzes are an effective strategy for fostering students’ learning enthusiasm in Islamic Religious Education. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to continue developing innovative learning strategies that are in line with students’ needs.
