Abstract

The elderly are the largest contributor to hypertension worldwide. Hypertension or an increased blood pressure > 140/90 mmHg. Brisk Walking Exercise therapy is a non-pharmacological therapy to control blood pressure. This case study aims to describe the application of Brisk Walking Exercise to reduce blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension. This research method uses a descriptive method involving 2 respondents with the criteria of elderly aged >6O years.category 1 hypertension.the results of this case study show a decrease in blood pressure between before and after brisk walking exercise therapy. Subject I experienced an average decrease of 3.71 mmHg in systolic and diastolic an average decrease of 1.71 mmHg.subject II experienced an average decrease of 4.41 mmHg in systolic blood pressure while in diastolic blood pressure there was an average decrease of 1.71 mmHg. Subject II experienced an average decrease of 4.14 mmHg in systolic and diastolic an average decrease of 3.14 mmHg.the conclusion of this case study is that brisk walking exercise therapy is effective in reducing blood pressure in both subjects.brisk walking exercise therapy is recommended as a nursing intervention in hypertension management in the elderly with hypertension.

Abstract

The success of a company or organization is highly dependent on the activities and creativity of the resources within the company or organization. Human resources are one of the most important factors in a company to achieve company goals because the success or failure of the company in achieving its goals depends heavily on the ability of human resources or employee performance in completing their duties. Therefore, employee performance has an important role for the company to achieve its goals because good employee performance will produce good quality. This study aims to analyze and identify the effect of work discipline, work motivation, and work environment on employee performance at PT. Jayamandiri Gemasejati Bogor. The subjects of this study were 46 employees of PT. Jayamandiri Gemasejati Bogor as sample member. Determination of the sample using non-probability sampling with the sampling technique used is saturation sampling. The form of this research is descriptive and verification. The data analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that work discipline, work motivation, and work environment simultaneously and partially have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Employee performance is a result that a person achieves in carrying out the tasks and responsibilities given to him based on skills, experience and perseverance and time at work. Given the influence of training, work motivation provided by the company and work discipline carried out by employees, so that employee performance can increase in an effort to achieve company goals. This study aims to determine the effect of training, work motivation and work discipline on employee performance. The analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with a quantitative approach. The total sample size was 43 people. The results in this study indicate that training, work motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while partially each variable of training, work motivation and work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research is to find out the implementation of business licensing authority in the regions to increase investment in Bekasi City according to Government Regulation Number 6 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Business Licensing in the Regions and to find out what the juridical consequences are for regions that do not guide/do not make adjustments according to Government Regulation Number 6 Year 2021 Concerning the Implementation of Business Licensing in the Regions. The type of legal research used is empirical normative legal research that uses primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials with data collection through library research using qualitative analysis methods. The results of the study show that the authority to administer business licensing in the city of Bekasi to increase investment, when referring to government regulation number 6 of 2021 concerning the implementation of business licensing in the regions, does not yet have an operational legal basis for implementation in the form of regional regulations governing business licensing, so it is still There are legal cases in particular, the implementation of business licensing is currently still based on Mayor Regulation number 52 A of 2021 concerning risk-based business licensing but has not linked it to a higher regulation, namely a regional regulation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada Taman Rekreasi Cimelati Kabupaten Sukabumi baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Populasi dan sampel berjumlah 100 responden pengunjung. Hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa seluruh butir pertanyaan valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis korelasi berganda menyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan sangat kualitas pelayanan yang meliputi kehandalan, jaminan, bukti fisik, empati dan daya tanggap terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Pada hasil dari koefisien determinasi dapat dijelaskan sebesar 71,7% kepuasan konsumen dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pelayanan, sedangkan 28,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yaitu pemilihan produk, pemilihan merek, pemilihan penyalur, jumlah pembelian, penentuan waktu kunjungan. Hasil penelitian bahwa secara simultan dan parsial variabel kualitas pelayanan meliputi kehandalan, jaminan, bukti fisik, empati dan daya tanggap berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen taman rekreasi cimelati kabupaten sukabumi.

Abstract

Hibiscus is a plant that has been shown to contain substances that may be used as sunscreen to protect the skin from UV radiation. In terms of their potential as sunscreens, flavonoids, tannins, and quinone chemicals are crucial because they are antioxidants that can reduce the negative effects of UV radiation and boost photoprotective activity. This study aimed to investigate the acute dermal toxicity potential of hibiscus leaves simplicial ointment 40% on female albino rats. The evaluation method refered to The OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals – No. Test: 402, Acute Dermal Toxicity-Fixed Doses Procedure. Based on the Globally Harmonized System compared to this study reported that acute dermal median lethal dose (LD50) was > 2000 mg/kg. It can be concluded that hibiscus leaves simplicial ointment 40% has safe to apply topically and doesn't produce acute skin toxicity.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the urgency of global civic education, civic education in the Indonesian context, and the conceptual framework of global civic competencies in developing the Pancasila and civic education curriculum. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method through several stages, including collecting library data, taking notes, reviewing data sources, and processing information. The urgency of global citizenship education was to prepare young people who understand the contemporary world, play an active role in solving national and global problems, and become proactive contributors to a more just, peaceful, tolerant, inclusive, safe, and sustainable world. Pancasila and civic education in the Indonesian context did not yet contain material for global civic education. The conceptual framework for global civic in developing the Pancasila and civic education curriculum should include three main elements: global knowledge and understanding, values and attitudes, and global skills.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the forms of activities of the ecological citizenship movement and the formation of environmentally care characters. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The ecological citizenship movement is carried out through the post-mining reclamation movement, mangrove planting movement, resistance movement, and waste care action movement. Efforts to build the character of environmental care are instilled through environmental education in the community and students in schools, clear law enforcement for mining companies, and campaigns through social media about environmental conditions.

Abstract

Abstract: Analysis of Multicultural Values on Students Textbook of Pancasila and Citizenship Education of Senior High School Class X. Objectives: This study aims to analyze multicultural values on students textbook of Pancasila and Citizenship Education of Senior High School Class X. Methods: This research used content analysis method with a qualitative approach. Data source of this research was students textbook of Pancasila and Citizenship Education of Senior High School Class X Curriculum 2013 published by Ministry of Education and Culture. Data collection was done with careful anaysis and recording of the content of multicultural values in textbook. Checking the validity of the data besed on semantic validty was by observing the data in introduction consisted of sentences and illustrations images as well as the goal and scope of learning and reliability was interrater reliability that was by reading and reviewing to get consistent data. Findings: The contents of multicultural values contained in students textbook of Pancasila and Citizenship Education of Senior High School Class X consist of 15 multicultural values which include ethnohistory, religious differences, ethnocultural differences, tolerance, diversity, equality and rights of the wider community, eliminating discrimination, eliminating racism, universal humanity, conflict resolution, mediation, democracy, human rights, nature conservation, and environmental awareness. The integration of the values contained in Pancasila and Citizenship Education textbook of Senior High School Class X are each integrated through preliminary learning consisting of introductory sentences of learning, picture illustration, and learning objective: the core part which consists of a description of learning material, independent assignment, and group assignment, and the concluding part consists of reflection, summary, self-assessment, citizenship project, and competency test. Conclusion: Students textbook of Pancasila and Citizenship Education of Senior High School Class X contains multicultural values that are describe in each chapter in the students textbook.   Keywords: multicultural values, textbook, and pancasila and citizenship education.

Abstract

The case of terrorism in Indonesia made the younger generation the target of the dogma of religious radicalism, so the younger generation made it a tool for the success of the terrorist movement. Religion-based community organizations are very significant in preventing the dogma of radical movements for students. This study aims to analyze the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association/Nahdlatul Ulama Women's Association (IPNU/IPPNU) movement's efforts in Banjardowo Village to provide education on Islamic religious values to youth members and the surrounding community. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with interviews, observations, and documentation. The research analysis used is descriptive inductive/qualitative. Informants selected for interviews were core management and members of the organization. The results showed that; Analysis of the description of the IPNU/IPPNU student organization in Banjardowo village and the forms of activities of the IPNU/IPPNU student organization in Banjardowo village in providing education on religious values to members and the community was carried out in a planned and systematic manner.
