Abstract

This study aims to describe learning mathematics from the teacher's point of view and the experience of learning mathematics based on self-confidence. The results of research related to distance mathematics learning with reference to 4 aspects (learning strategies, pedagogic models, learning technology, and assessment) found that the learning strategy carried out by the teacher is to make students active by conducting questions and answers during video conferences, giving rewards and punishments, and delivering material assisted by electronic media such as PowerPoint, YouTube, and learning videos. The pedagogic model used is still providing problem-solving questions that are also integrated with group learning and the use of other learning resources. The assessment is carried out by considering the activity and intelligence of students, assisted by the Google Forms application. In addition, it was also found that student self-confidence had an impact on most of the indicators of the experience of learning mathematics at a distance, and vice versa.

Abstract

The background of this study relates to an exploration of the role of technology in the classroom learning process, especially in terms of shifting the role of the teacher as the main instructor. The rapid and ever-changing development of technology has had a huge impact on education systems around the world, such as ChatGPT. This study will conduct an in-depth analysis of ChatGPT's ability to replace the role of teachers in the classroom learning process. This research is qualitative in nature. The methodology used to collect data includes attentive listening and careful documentation of relevant information, which is then subjected to analytical procedures such as data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study arrived at the conclusion that in the context of using ChatGPT in learning, it should be noted that technology can only be a tool and cannot replace the role of the teacher entirely. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate technology in learning in an appropriate and effective way and develop competence for teachers in managing learning with technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the project-based learning (PjBL) learning model on students' biology learning outcomes. The method used is meta-analysis, a method for synthesizing research results from various studies using statistics commonly used in primary studies. The research instrument is in the form of a coding sheet that contains the necessary data and journal information. The research findings show that overall, the PjBL learning model is effective for biology learning, with a large effect size of 1.050 and a very high effect category. The PjBL model also provides influence and is effective in terms of area, educational level, and its application in biology learning to improve learning outcomes, creative thinking skills, critical thinking skills, and in larger groups, namely 21st century skills and knowledge or cognitive learners.

Abstract

Pemasaran telah menjadi aspek penting dalam perkembangan bisnis sejak zaman usaha kecil saat ini. Social project marketing dan pengabdian yang kami kerjakan bertujuan untuk mengedukasi para pedagang kecil yang memiliki keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keahlian dalam manajemen pemasaran. Tempat dari Ayam Bakar Ginessa 1 ini penampilannya kurang menarik , tidak terlihat karena tempatnya yang kecil, agak sedikit kurang bersih,dan juga tata letak meja dan kursinya agak sedikit sempit. Pemasaran yang dilakukan Ayam Bakar Ginessa 1 menggunakan pemasaran langsung dan juga pemasaran pribadi.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan penyusunan artikel ilmiah terindeks SINTA. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara online melalui aplikasi Zoom pada tanggal 20 Maret 2023 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 33 peserta dari berbagai kalangan seperti guru, mahasiswa, dan dosen. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran peserta dalam penyusunan artikel ilmiah yang berkualitas dan dapat diindeks pada SINTA. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi sesi presentasi, diskusi interaktif, dan penugasan individu. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta terkait penyusunan artikel ilmiah terindeks SINTA. Peserta berhasil mengembangkan kemampuan dalam menyusun argumen yang jelas, menggunakan gaya penulisan akademik, dan mengidentifikasi jurnal terindeks SINTA yang relevan. Kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat yang positif dalam pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui publikasi ilmiah yang relevan dan bermutu.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) is an important aspect of the success of an organization or company. Effective and efficient HR management can help organizations better achieve their goals and ensure optimal performance from each team member. However, HR management is also faced with various complex challenges, including the management of large teams, diverse needs and expectations of team members, and rapid changes in the business and technological environment. This research aims to investigate the effectiveness and potential use of ChatGPT as a decision-support tool in HR management. This research is a literature review that adopts a qualitative method approach, which means it will analyze and interpret data by relying on information and text from various sources. The study results show that the use of ChatGPT as a decision-support tool in Human Resource Management offers great potential in improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency of HR processes. Artificial intelligence models such as ChatGPT can act as virtual assistants that provide text-based responses, assisting in recruitment, employee development, performance management, and employee support processes. ChatGPT can gather valuable data and insights about employees and the work environment, and help HR managers make more informed decisions.

Abstract

Every area of life, including the learning process, has been impacted by the growth of the 21st-century world, which is characterized by the use of information and communication technology in all facets of daily life. Every field of work requires changes in competence and skills as a result of developments. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork are crucial skills for success in the twenty-first century. Schools must be equipped to prepare kids for life in the twenty-first century. The goal of all teaching and learning activities in schools must be to prepare students with the skills needed for the twenty-first century. The capacity for learning expands and becomes resourceful. Because of advancements made in the 21st century, learning has become more dynamic. The educational system must therefore be able to address all of the difficulties and skill requirements of the 21st century. As a result, education must plan out its educational programs through the curriculum that pupils will be taught. The curriculum is everything that pupils will learn in order to accomplish a particular objective. To accommodate all available skills and obstacles, curriculum changes are implemented. Responding to the demands of the twenty-first century presents exceedingly complicated issues for the curriculum. The curriculum is modified appropriately to meet these requirements and challenges. The actual challenge is staying on course with the vision, mission, and goals of national education. Consequently, a curriculum that can both internally and externally address the needs of the 21st century is required.

Abstract

The interplay between sustainable development and natural resource management has become central to addressing global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and social inequities. This study employs bibliometric analysis to explore the evolution, trends, and influences in this critical interdisciplinary field. Utilizing reputable databases, relevant publications are collected, preprocessed, and analyzed using VOSviewer. Co-authorship, citation, and keyword analyses unveil the intellectual landscape, prominent contributors, and core themes. Results showcase clusters such as climate change and resource management, highlighting challenges and strategies. Highly cited works underline key influences, from the natural-resource-based view of the firm to the triple bottom line concept. Insights empower researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to navigate the complexities of sustainable development and resource management.

Abstract

Upaya pemerintah menjaga keseimbangan kurikulum sekolah dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi telah dilakukan degan merealisasikan kurikulum tingkat satuan pendidikan (K-13). Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) untuk menjelaskan struktur konten geografi berdasarkan K-13 yang dipelajari siswa, (2) karakteristik media sosial yang digunakan siswa untuk posting konten geografi di SMA Negeri 9 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode kualitatif. Informan penelitian merupakan guru geografi dan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Kota Bengkulu. Data di peroleh dengan pengumpulan data penelitian dari informan dan pihak sekolah, selanjutnya data direduksi sesuai panduan penelitian, dan kemudian data disajikan sebagai hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; (a) struktur konten geografi yang dipelajari siswa sudah dipelajari di kelas maupun di lingkungan sekolah, (b) aplikasi media sosial yang digunakan untuk potingan konten geografi dilakukan di aplikasi Instagram, Tiktok, dan WhatsApp. Sedangkan di aplikasi Youtube informan belum pernah memposting konten geografi, karna informan tidak memiliki akun aplikasi Youtube. Terkait dengan pemahaman teknis memposting konten geografi di media sosial informan mengatakan, mereka telah memahmi dengan baik

Abstract

Pulau Jawa, yang terletak di dalam Cincin Api Pasifik, memiliki permadani yang kaya akan fitur geologi dan geomorfologi, ditambah dengan sejarah perubahan lingkungan yang mendalam. Penelitian ini melakukan investigasi ekstensif terhadap interaksi antara geomorfologi, perubahan bentang alam, dan pergeseran lingkungan di Pulau Jawa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran, kami mengumpulkan data geospasial kuantitatif melalui penginderaan jarak jauh dan teknik GIS serta mengumpulkan wawasan kualitatif dari masyarakat lokal. Temuan kami menunjukkan bahwa perluasan kota dan deforestasi telah menyebabkan perubahan tutupan lahan yang substansial. Selain itu, sedimentasi di sungai dan erosi pantai menimbulkan tantangan lingkungan yang signifikan. Data iklim menunjukkan kenaikan suhu dan pola curah hujan yang bervariasi. Kenaikan permukaan laut terlihat jelas di daerah pesisir, dengan tingkat dampak yang bervariasi karena karakteristik geomorfis setempat. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya perencanaan tata guna lahan yang berkelanjutan, konservasi, dan strategi adaptasi spesifik wilayah dalam menangani lanskap lingkungan Pulau Jawa yang terus berubah.
