This study is to analyze the Effect of Hypertension Exercise on Lowering Blood Pressure in Hypertension Patients in the Tapunggaya Health Center Work Area. Method: This type of research is quantitative with an experimental approach with a pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 284 people using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection tool used a blood measurement observation sheet. The statistical test used was the Paired Sample T-Test. Result: Obtained Results before hypertension exercise treatment on decreasing systolic blood pressure average 148 after treatment average blood pressure 134 mmHg. And the results before treatment diastolic blood pressure average 91 and 96 mmHg after treatment average mmHg. Based on the T-test obtained (P value = 0.00 with alpha <0.05). It can be concluded that there is a significant effect between hypertension exercise on decreasing blood pressure. Conclusion: There is an effect of hypertension exercise therapy to lower blood pressure in hypertension sufferers. It is expected that hypertension sufferers can continue hypertension exercise to lower blood pressure.

Abstract

Introduction: The uneven distribution of health workers in Southeast Sulawesi Province can cause gaps in access and quality of health services. This study aims to analyze the distribution of health worker needs in the island and mainland areas of Southeast Sulawesi Province. Method: This type of research uses a Qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The respondents in this study were the Head of the Health Service and the Head of the Health Center as many as 20 people. Data analysis used Content Analysis. Result: The equal distribution of health workers needs in the island and mainland areas of Southeast Sulawesi Province still faces several problems in input factors. One of the main problems in the equal distribution of health workers is the uneven number of health workers in various regions, especially in the island and mainland areas. Some regions may experience a shortage of health workers, while other regions have excess or unbalanced concentration. This shortage of health workers can cause a heavy workload for existing health workers, reduce the quality of health services, and increase the risk of fatigue in health workers. Conclusion: It is necessary to address the uneven distribution of health workers with a strategic placement policy for health workers in island and mainland areas. The government must strengthen health infrastructure in remote and isolated areas.

Abstract

Introduction:Initial observation of mining industry community in Kolaka Regency Poor air circulation causes smoke to not be able to fully exit through the chimney, so that the combustion chamber looks dirty and dusty and exits through the existing gaps to the community's residential environment. ISPA is one of the diseases with a fairly high morbidity and mortality rate, so it is necessary to carry out integrated, targeted handling aimed at improving environmental quality. This study is to analyze the relationship between air quality and the incidence of respiratory infections of ISPA in communities around the mining industry location (Pomalaa District) and non-mining industry location in Kolaka Regency. Method:Quantitative research using Descriptive Retrospective research design. The target population in this study is the entire community in the area around the Nickel Mining and industrial centers in Kolaka Regency. Samples were taken using the stratified random sampling method totaling 126 respondents. Result:There is a very strong relationship between the results of air quality measurements of PM10 and CO parameter values with an increase in the incidence of ISPA. While for the PM2.5 air quality value there is a strong relationship, and for other air quality parameters such as SO2, NO2, and O3 there is no relationship with the incidence of ISPA or a moderate or even weak relationship. Conclusion: Reducing the use of private vehicles by providing public transportation, or the company providing employee buses to reduce the intensity of air quality decline due to dense vehicles around mining and non-mining areas.

Abstract

Introduction:Comprehensive services are needed to resolve the complex problem of PLWHA infection. One of the comprehensive services can be implemented with the help of people or family members who live with PLWHA and provide attention to them. Efforts that need to be made to slow down the incidence of opportunistic infections in HIV clients include reducing the incidence of lost to follow up. Until now, there has been no data related to the relationship between PLWHA (People Living with PLWHA) and the incidence of lost to follow up in HIV patients in West Muna Regency. Method:Quantitative research using Case Control Study design, Population is all HIV/AIDS patients registered in the Disease Control Division of West Muna Regency as many as 38 people. Case samples are 11 people and Control Samples are 11 people. Result:Instrumental support is significantly related to the incidence of Lost to Follow Up in HIV/AIDS patients with a p value = 0.008 (<0.05) and informational support is significantly related to the incidence of Lost to Follow Up in HIV/AIDS patients with a p value = 0.03 (<0.05). Conclusion: The absence of instrumental and informational support from OHIDHA will increase the risk of Lost to Follow Up for HIV/AIDS patients, whereas HIV/AIDS patients who receive instrumental and informational support from OHIDHA will reduce the incidence of Lost to Follow Up.

Abstract

Proper and standard healthcare services will provide patient satisfaction in evaluating healthcare performance. Based on interviews conducted in December 2023 in the Surgical Inpatient Room at RSUD DR. H. Abdul Moeloek, Lampung Province, with 10 respondents, 6 respondents (60%) they were stated that some nurses did not explain the actions to be taken and were slow to respond to patient complaints. This study aims to determine the relationship between nurse services and communication with patient satisfaction in the surgical inpatient room of RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek, Lampung Province. This study was conducted in March-April using a quantitative method with a descriptive-analytic design through a cross-sectional approach. The study population was 83 respondents selected through accidental sampling (accidental sampling, also known as convenience sampling, is often considered a weak sampling technique because it does not ensure that the sample is representative of the larger population). Data collection instruments used questionnaires with dependent variables of patient satisfaction and independent variables of nurse services and communication. Data analysis used the Chi-square test. The results showed that 94% (78) of respondents stated that nurse communication was always good, and 96.4% (80) stated that nurse services were good. The correlation results showed a p-value=0.000<0.050, indicating a significant relationship between nurse services and communication with patient satisfaction. It is recommended that nurses continue to provide good, prompt, friendly, and always smiling services to patients.
