Abstract

Digitalization has brought about significant changes in the business operational landscape at various levels, including SMEs. This research aims to explore the impact of digitalization on SMEs in Jambi City based on the perspectives of experts and SME business actors. Qualitative research methods were adopted in this study to provide in-depth insight into the impact of digitalization on SMEs. To collect accurate and quality data, this research relies on a Focus Discussion Group (FGD) with 6 experts and individual interviews with 22 SME business owners operating in various business sectors. This research approach follows the COREQ (Consolidated criteria for REporting Qualitative research) Checklist guidelines, which ensures the accuracy and superiority of research results. Data analysis was carried out using ATLAS.ti software which makes it possible to find, code, and manage data from FGDs and individual interviews more efficiently. The results of the analysis identified five main themes of the impact of digitalization on SMEs, namely: Improved Business Management, Marketing and Branding, Technology Challenges, Partnerships and Collaboration, and Customer Experience. It is hoped that this research will provide a better understanding of how digitalization has affected SMEs from various aspects, as well as illustrate the challenges that need to be overcome. The results of this research can be used as a basis or guideline for developing better strategies to support the growth and sustainability of MSMEs in the ever-developing digital era.

Abstract

PETE, as a place for PE teacher training, requires an analysis of the functioning of subjects related to the SDGs. Since 2006, Active Learning Models (ALM) in track and field courses have aspired to provide contextual learning experiences to PE teacher candidates. However, there is no in-depth analysis of ALM implementation in ensuring the readiness and independence of student learning during lectures. The purpose of this study is to strengthen the evidence that ALM can build the self-regulation and self-efficacy of prospective PE teachers. This research is a weak experimental type using a one-shot case study design. The sample involved 142 students(M= 83 and F= 59) who followed the ALM syntax for one semester. Portfolios and log-activity scores were used to measure self-regulation, while the Authentic Learning Self-Efficacy Scale (ALSS) questionnaire was used to measure Self-Efficacy. Data analysis used descriptive, correlation, ANOVA, and regression. The results showed that the students possessed adequate self-efficacy while participating in ALM. The differences in the characteristics of students based on the class that necessitated adjustments in the implementation of the instructional model were discussed. In addition, learning activity was determined as the most important variable in explaining student self-regulation in successfully achieving academic achievement.

Abstract

The State Administrative Court (PTUN) plays a critical role in ensuring lawful and accountable governance. Traditionally, its purview focused on reviewing legal aspects of administrative decisions. However, recent developments grant the State Administrative Court authority to examine factual actions taken by the government. This article explores the fundamental principles underpinning this expanded authority. It delves into concepts like legality, proportionality, and good governance, analyzing how the State Administrative Court ensures these principles are upheld in factual actions. The article further analyzes regulations governing the State Administrative Court of various countries, including France, Netherlands, and England. By identifying similarities and variations in how these nations empower their SACs, the article presents a helpful perspective into best practices and potential challenges. Thus, this article offers valuable insights into the evolving role of SACs in promoting a more just and transparent administrative system.

Abstract

Abstract

Jatibatur Village, Gemolong District, Sragen Regency, has significant economic potential, particularly through MSME activities in the trade, culinary, and service sectors. However, most transactions are still conducted in cash, which potentially poses security risks, limited financial record keeping, and is inefficient on a business scale. In this context, through this community service activity, the Jatibatur Village community is provided with outreach and assistance regarding simple financial record keeping as well as training on the use of the ORIS application. It is hoped that this activity will improve financial literacy, expand the use of digital transactions, and support the acceleration of the digitalization of the village economy as initiated by the government. The implemented strategies include Initial Problem Identification by conducting discussions and interviews with the community and MSMEs in Jatibatur Village to identify the main obstacles in financial management and the implementation of digital transactions through ORIS. Financial literacy outreach and counseling by providing education on the importance of simple financial record keeping, cash flow management, and the benefits of non-cash transactions. This strategy aims to increase public awareness of the importance of financial management for business sustainability. Technical training on the use of ORIS, individual and group mentoring, periodic monitoring and evaluation, and finally collaboration with the village government and financial partners. In general, the results of the activities show that the participatory mentoring strategy is effective in improving financial literacy and digital skills in the community.
