Abstract

Thematic learning is an approach that integrates various scientific disciplines through themes that are relevant to students' daily lives, aiming to increase their understanding and involvement in the learning process. The aim of this research is to review in depth the criteria, principles and techniques for developing theme networks in thematic learning, including the steps that must be taken to create effective and interesting themes as well as highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of thematic learning models based on theme networks. This research uses quantitative methods with a library research approach to explore theme networks in thematic learning. This research focuses on collecting data from various literature sources, including books, scientific journals, government documents, and relevant online articles. The results of this research are: (1) criteria and techniques for systematic steps in developing a theme network which is the basis for integrated learning. (2) An effective theme network must pay attention to principles such as simplicity, cohesiveness, and relevance to the student context. (3) choosing the right theme and good time planning is very important for the successful implementation of thematic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a contextual approach-based Fiqh E-Module and test its effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method which includes the stages of validation by material and media experts, module improvement based on validator suggestions, and implementation through trials using a Quasi Experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 29 grade X students at MA Muhammadiyah 2 Malang, which were divided into experimental and control classes. The validation results showed that the module was considered very feasible with a percentage of 92% from the material aspect and 88% from the media aspect. The pilot test showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class, which used the E-Module, compared to the control class that followed learning without the module. The average post-test score of the experimental class was 93.29, much higher than the control class with an average of 48.35. The results of the user response questionnaire show that students are very enthusiastic and feel helped by the use of modules in the learning process. In conclusion, the developed E-Module effectively improves student learning outcomes and is suitable for use as learning media.

Abstract

This research explores the existential role of Ūlul Al-bāb's universal values in improving work ethic, achievement motivation, and performance at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Using quantitative methods and Partial Least Square-Sequential Equation Model (PLS-SEM) analysis, this research examines the relationship between variables, emphasizing the mediating role of work ethic. Two hundred respondents were selected from a population of 506 permanent lecturers. The research results show a positive and significant relationship between Ūlul Al-bāb values and both work ethic and performance, which confirms that internalization of objective, moderate, and transcendental principles can improve the performance of lecturers within the institution. However, the direct relationship between Ūlul Al-bāb values and achievement motivation was found to be insignificant. This research also proves that work ethic emerges as an important mediator, linking Ūlul Al-bāb values to both achievement motivation and performance. These findings confirm the importance of translating Ūlul Al-bāb values into performance improvements. The practical implications of these findings are significant for human resource management in higher education.

Abstract

A superior school is a school that is able to bring every student to achieve their abilities in a measurable manner and can be demonstrated through their achievements. The background to writing this research is the demand for quality educational institutions which will be able to create schools that have competitive advantages. The aim of the research is to analyze aspects of competitive advantage that have been implemented at SDI Al-Akbar Bangsal in improving the quality of education. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews with school principals, teachers, classroom observations, documentation, academic journals, books, articles and relevant research reports. Respondents consisted of the Principal, Deputy Principal, teachers and also staff at SDI Al-Akbar Bangsal. The results of this research show three things: first; SDI Al-Akbar Bangsal prepares for competitiveness in the 5.0 era; second; form aspects of competitive advantage at SDI Al-Akbar Bangsal; third; strategic concepts and approaches in improving the quality of education at SDI Al-Akbar Bangsal. Based on the research results, there are still limitations, namely the number of respondents is still small and there is only one SDI Al-Akbar institution so there is a lack of comparison with other institutions. It is recommended for future researchers to take more sample, this aims to have better data accuracy in their research. Researchers also recommend to institutions to always improve quality by always evaluating the superior aspects of SDI Al-Akbar.

Abstract

The development of learning media has become the main focus in the contemporary educational era. Learning media development models, such as the Borg and Gall Model, have become an important basis for developers in designing effective and quality learning media. The Borg and Gall model is a systematic and comprehensive approach used to develop effective and relevant learning media in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) or Elementary Schools (SD). This approach emphasizes research and development (R&D) to produce educational products that are practical and can be directly applied in the classroom. The process involves several stages starting from problem identification, prototype development, field trials, to product evaluation and revision. This article uses a literature study research method by presenting an in-depth analysis of the Borg and Gall model in developing learning media, which includes basic concepts, characteristics, steps, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of this model in developing learning media. With a deep understanding of the characteristics and principles contained in this model, educational practitioners can improve the quality of learning through the application of more effective learning media.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and discover the design, implementation, and results of social media in building the reputation of educational institutions. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study method using a multicase design. The study focuses on two case studies: SMK Muhammadiyah Lumajang and MAN Lumajang, both of which are renowned educational institutions in Indonesia with a commitment to optimizing social media. Data collection techniques employed include in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis method used is constant comparison. The technique for ensuring data validity include credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of this research are as follows: First, the design of social media to enhance the reputation of educational institutions consists of four managerial processes: (1) Identification of Core Resources and Supporting Resources, (2) Formulation of Goals and Objectives, (3) Selection of Social Media Platforms, and (4) Task Force Team. Second, the implementation of social media design includes activities such as: (1) Content Formulation, (2) Broadcast and Q&A, (3) Collaboration with Internal and External Human Resources of the Institution, (4) Control through System Control, Leadership Control, and Social Control approaches, and (5) Development of Platform Types, Expanding Audience Segments, Updating Strategies, and Revitalizing Social Media Orientation. Third, the outcomes and impact of social media include: Quantitative results manifested as an increase in new student admissions, and qualitative impact in the form of a New Work Culture and Institutional Engagement.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan ajar, media, dan sumber belajar menjadi sangat krusial dalam proses pembelajaran. Adanya seperangkat alat pembelajaran yang berupa bahan ajar, media, dan sumber belajar yang berkualitas, menjadikan proses pembelajaran menghasilkan output Pendidikan yang berkulitas. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran bahan ajar, media, dan sumber belajar tersebut yang dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar dan efektivitas pembelajaran peserta didik, khususnya pada pembelajaran Pendidikan agama Islam yang mengajarkan pengetahuan agama, membentuk karakter, serta menanamkan nilai-nilai moral peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian literatur dengan penelusuran kepustakaan dengan bersumber dari buku, jurnal, dan terbitan-terbitan lainnya yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Penelitian ini menghasilkan data-data berupa penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti terdahulu mengenai pemanfaatan dari sumber belajar berbasis multimedia yang diuji coba di mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Palu, dan MI Miftahul Hidayah. Adapun hasil pengamatan tersebut mendapat respon baik yang meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Dalam hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa, peranan bahan ajar, media, dan sumber belajar tersebut dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan menghasilkan output yang baik. Abstract

Pembelajaran dikatakan berhasil jika terjadi Perubahan Perilaku. Pembelajaran pada anak usia dini merupakan pondasi awal dari pembentukan karakter pada Anak. Membelajarkan nilai religius pada anak   sejak sedini mungkin penting artinya, karena pendidikan memerlukan proses seperti mata rantai yang saling berkaitan yang menjadikan anak menjadi pribadi yang Religius. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan tiga metode, yaitu: metode wawancara dan metode observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang menumbuhkembangkan karakter religius di TK .Al Hikmah Karangbesuki Sukun Malang adalah dengan pengintegrasian pelajaran di kelas, pembiasaan rutin, spontan, dan keteladanan. Konsep pendidikan karakter yang indah memerlukan dukungan oleh semua pihak harus terlibat secara aktif, dari tingkat keluarga, masyarakat, lembaga pendidikan formal, hingga para pemimpin bangsa dan tentu saja pemimpin agama dan masyarakat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran tematik yang meliputi penggalian tema, pengelolaan pembelajaran, evaluasi, dan reaksi siswa di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan (Library research), peneliti mengumpulkan, menganalisis, mengorganisasi, sumber dari artikel, buku, penelitian terdahulu tentang aplikasi prinsip pembelajaran tematik. Kemudian peneliti menyimpulkan dan menyajikan data-data aplikasi prinsip pembelajaran tematik penggalian tema, pengelolaan pembelajaran, evaluasi, dan reaksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip ini dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memfasilitasi pemahaman yang lebih mendalam, serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih kontekstual dan bermakna. Prinsip pembelajaran tematik juga mendorong siswa untuk mengaitkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, sehingga meningkatkan daya ingat dan keterampilan berpikir kritis mereka. Namun, tantangan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik seperti keterbatasan waktu, kesulitan dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai mata pelajaran secara efektif, serta kebutuhan akan pelatihan dan pengembangan kapasitas guru dalam merancang evaluasi yang relevan dan berorietasi pada kompetensi. Oleh karena itu, dukungan dan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru sangat diperlukan. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan prinsip pembelajaran tematik yang dikelola dengan baik dapat memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap proses dan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui penerapan kurikulum dan peran kurikulum dalam meningkatkan akreditasi di SD/MI. keterkaitan kurikulum dengan peningkatan akreditasi sekolah memiliki peran yang saling mendukung dalam menjamin mutu pendidikan. MI Tarbiyatul Arifin merupakan salah satu Madrasah Ibtidaiyah swasta di Kabupaten Malang yang terakreditasi C. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu MI Tarbiyatul Arifin. Teknik pengambilan dan pengumpulan data berupa data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan model Miles and Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa MI Tarbiyatul Arifin merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang tergolong baru yang sudah menerapkan kurikulum merdeka serta menerapkan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan yang sudah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. MI Tarbiyyatul Arifin terakreditasi C yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu, status lembaga pendidikan yang masih baru dan pengajuan akreditasi yang berlangsung pandemi COVID – 19, sehingga pemenuhan persyaratan akreditasi menjadi kurang optimal. AbstractThis research intends to find out the application of the curriculum and the role of the curriculum in improving accreditation in SD/MI. The relationship between the curriculum and improving school accreditation has a mutually supportive role in ensuring the quality of education. MI Tarbiyatul Arifin is one of the private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Malang Regency which is accredited C. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with the research subject being MI Tarbiyatul Arifin. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study state that MI Tarbiyatul Arifin is a relatively new educational institution that has implemented an independent curriculum and implemented learning in accordance with what has been determined by the government. MI Tarbiyyatul Arifin is accredited C which is caused by several factors, namely, the status of a new educational institution and the submission of accreditation during the COVID - 19 pandemic, so that the fulfillment of accreditation requirements is less than optimal.
