Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui penerapan kurikulum dan peran kurikulum dalam meningkatkan akreditasi di SD/MI. keterkaitan kurikulum dengan peningkatan akreditasi sekolah memiliki peran yang saling mendukung dalam menjamin mutu pendidikan. MI Tarbiyatul Arifin merupakan salah satu Madrasah Ibtidaiyah swasta di Kabupaten Malang yang terakreditasi C. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu MI Tarbiyatul Arifin. Teknik pengambilan dan pengumpulan data berupa data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan model Miles and Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa MI Tarbiyatul Arifin merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang tergolong baru yang sudah menerapkan kurikulum merdeka serta menerapkan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan yang sudah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. MI Tarbiyyatul Arifin terakreditasi C yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yaitu, status lembaga pendidikan yang masih baru dan pengajuan akreditasi yang berlangsung pandemi COVID – 19, sehingga pemenuhan persyaratan akreditasi menjadi kurang optimal. AbstractThis research intends to find out the application of the curriculum and the role of the curriculum in improving accreditation in SD/MI. The relationship between the curriculum and improving school accreditation has a mutually supportive role in ensuring the quality of education. MI Tarbiyatul Arifin is one of the private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Malang Regency which is accredited C. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with the research subject being MI Tarbiyatul Arifin. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study state that MI Tarbiyatul Arifin is a relatively new educational institution that has implemented an independent curriculum and implemented learning in accordance with what has been determined by the government. MI Tarbiyyatul Arifin is accredited C which is caused by several factors, namely, the status of a new educational institution and the submission of accreditation during the COVID - 19 pandemic, so that the fulfillment of accreditation requirements is less than optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  landasan-landasan pada pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa landasan filosofis pembelajaran tematik berkaitan dengan aliran-aliran filsafat pendidikan seperti progresivisme konstruktivisme, dan humanisme yang menekankan pada pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dan melibatkan pengalaman langsung siswa. Secara psikologis, pembelajaran tematik didasarkan pada teori-teori perkembangan kognitif dan sosial yang mendorong siswa untuk belajar secara holistik dan aktif, serta mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreativitas. Dari sisi yuridis, pembelajaran tematik didasarkan pada peraturan perundang-undangan yang mendasari kebijakan pendidikan di Indonesia, yang menekankan pentingnya pendidikan yang berorientasi pada pengembangan kompetensi siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Abstract                                                                 This research paper examines the curriculum development process at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) KH Hasyim Asyari in Kota Malang, focusing on the strategies educators employ to adapt and enhance the curriculum in response to the needs of students and the community. This study aims to illustrate how the school has implemented the Kurikulum Merdeka to promote a student-centered learning environment while addressing teachers' challenges in curriculum adaptation. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, providing insights into the effectiveness of curriculum implementation and its impact on teaching and learning practices. The findings reveal that while the adoption of the new curriculum has fostered creativity and engagement among students, there are ongoing challenges related to teacher training and parental involvement. This study contributes to understanding curriculum development in Islamic education settings and offers recommendations for continuous improvement and collaboration among stakeholders.Keywords:         Curriculum Development, Kurikulum Merdeka, Islamic Education, Teacher Strategy AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji proses pengembangan kurikulum di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) KH Hasyim Asyari di Kota Malang, dengan fokus pada strategi yang digunakan oleh para pendidik untuk mengadaptasi dan menyempurnakan kurikulum sebagai tanggapan terhadap kebutuhan siswa dan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana sekolah menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka untuk mempromosikan lingkungan belajar yang berpusat pada siswa sambil mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh para guru dalam adaptasi kurikulum. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, yang memberikan wawasan tentang efektivitas implementasi kurikulum dan dampaknya terhadap praktik belajar mengajar. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun implementasi kurikulum baru telah menumbuhkan kreativitas dan keterlibatan di antara siswa, masih ada tantangan yang dihadapi terkait pelatihan guru dan keterlibatan orang tua. Studi ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman tentang pengembangan kurikulum dalam lingkungan pendidikan Islam dan menawarkan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan berkelanjutan dan kolaborasi di antara para pemangku kepentingan.Kata Kunci :      Pengembangan Kurikulum, Kurikulum Merdeka, Pendidikan Islam, Strategi Guru

Abstract

The issue of community welfare remains a persistent challenge in many developing regions, including the village of Mangliawan. Despite having abundant local potential and human resources, the community continues to face economic instability, limited access to education, and underutilized social capital. This activity aims to empower the community to create new independent entrepreneurs, encouraging the empowerment of family entrepreneurs to increase family income and job opportunities through network expansion. This research was carried out in Mangliawan Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency, which is a center to produce snacks, such as tempeh chips and snacks, and the processing of used frying oil waste into aromatherapy candles. The aim of this activity is to provide guidance and assistance to the community in making candles. environmentally friendly aroma therapy and its marketing, thus becoming a new business expansion to increase family income. This service activity uses a Participatory Rural Appraisal approach which gives partners the opportunity to actively participate in activities from problem identification to the end of the activity. The targets of this community service activity are housewives living in Mangliawan Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency who have low incomes. There are four training activities to empower housewives, namely vocational training on packaging aromatherapy candles, tempeh chips, product packaging training, branding, and digital marketing strategies. The impact of this activity is that it contributes to improving the family's economy, the community can create and manage an environmentally friendly aromatherapy candle business and is very motivated to use and market it because they are aware that it can help efforts to improve the quality of the environment.

Abstract

In recent years, the development of information technology has brought significant changes to the field of education. One noteworthy innovation is the use of gamification applications like Kahoot, which aim to enhance interactivity and student engagement in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the Kahoot application in increasing elementary school students' motivation to learn. Using a qualitative method, data were collected through literature reviews and online searches. The results of the study indicate that the Kahoot application is effective in increasing elementary school students' motivation to learn. Several supporting factors were identified, including attractive visual displays, immediate feedback, and a healthy competitive atmosphere. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as limited access to technology and teachers' readiness to integrate this application into the curriculum. The implications of this study suggest that using Kahoot can increase student engagement and provide an enjoyable learning experience. This study is expected to provide practical guidance for educators in implementing gamification technology to enhance student motivation. Additionally, this research encourages further studies to explore the effectiveness of this application in various educational contexts.

Abstract

This study focuses on the development and validation of Wordwall as an innovative digital learning media for enhancing student engagement and achievement in Islamic Cultural History, specifically the topic of Khulafaur Rasyidin. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method and the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), this research involved 28 fifth and sixth-grade students at MI Tarbiyyatul Arifin, Malang. Validators included subject matter experts, media specialists, and Islamic Studies educators. Data collection was conducted through interviews, validation sheets, and pretest-posttest assessments. The results indicate that Wordwall achieved an average validation score of 94%, categorized as "very feasible." Statistical analysis of pretest and post-test scores showed a significant improvement in student performance, with a paired t-test confirming the media's effectiveness. Students' responses indicated high satisfaction with Wordwall's interactive features, demonstrating its practicality and attractiveness as a learning tool. This study emphasizes the potential of digital learning innovations like Wordwall to modernize educational practices and address challenges in delivering complex content to digital-native learners.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of educational financing management and learning facilities on the quality of madrasahs. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The research sample involved 40 teachers who were selected randomly. The results of the study showed that simultaneously, financing management and learning facilities had a significant effect on the quality of madrasahs, with a contribution of 39.7%. Partially, learning facilities had a significant effect on school quality (p = 0.032), while financing management did not have a significant effect partially (p = 0.228). The coefficient of determination indicated that 15.8% of madrasah quality was influenced by other variables outside the model. The implications of this study indicate the importance of optimizing the management of educational funds and providing and maintaining adequate learning facilities in supporting the improvement of madrasah quality. These results can be a strategic reference for principals, financial managers, and policy makers in designing more accountable and quality-oriented education policies.

Abstract

Branding is a strategic instrument in building the reputation and quality of the institution. MI Islamiyah Malang, as an Islamic educational institution, has great potential in strengthening branding. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques, and uses the data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model including data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification, data wetness using triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study show that branding is developed through student management and the formation of superior talents through 21st century skills-based extracurricular activities. Critical thinking honed through the Olympics; collaboration through futsal and banjari; communication through English clubs, tahfidz, and storytelling; creativity through MTQ and coloring; culture through dance and Pagar Nusa; and connectivity through coding and robotics. Extracurricular management refers to the 6M management concept: man, method, money, material, machine, and market. MI Islamiyah presents expert teachers, provides allowances, provides adequate facilities, conducts routine evaluations, and carries the slogan "The Champion" as a leading brand. This strategy is considered successful in improving student achievement to the national level and has a positive impact on increasing the number of applicants every year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of e-leadership and Islamic spiritual leadership on the quality of education in madrasah. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design, involving 84 madrasah teachers as samples. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that e-leadership has a significant effect on Islamic spiritual leadership and education quality. In addition, Islamic spiritual leadership is also proven to have a positive and significant influence on the quality of education. Other findings show that e-leadership has an indirect positive impact on education quality through Islamic spiritual leadership. Thus, the integration of e-leadership and Islamic spiritual leadership plays an important role in improving the quality of education in madrasah. This reflects that technology-based leadership development and spiritual values can create an educational environment that is more effective and adaptive to the development of the digital era. The implications of this research emphasize the need for madrasah leaders to implement a balanced leadership strategy between the use of technology and Islamic spiritual values in order to form graduates who are superior, have character, and are ready to face global challenges.

Abstract

The study of Islamic Education in the development of civilization is very important to be studied more deeply because it continues to be a lively study among scholars and has relevance in facing global challenges. This article aims to explain three main aspects: (1) The form and paradigm of Islamic Education in building civilization, (2) Internal and external factors that affect the implementation of Islamic Education, and (3) The implications of Islamic Education on the development of civilization, both positively and negatively. This research uses a library research method with a historical-sociological approach and is based on Islamic education theory and civilization. Data collection was carried out through literature studies, then analyzed using qualitative-descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) The form of Islamic education in building civilization consists of three main paradigms: traditional, modern, and integrative, (2) Influential internal factors include religious values, local culture, and educational policies, while external factors include globalization, technology, and political dynamics, (3) The implications of Islamic Education on civilization include positive impacts in the form of increasing morality, intellectuality, and social solidarity,  as well as negative impacts such as resistance to modernization, exclusivism, and limited adaptation to global changes. In conclusion, Islamic education has a significant role in building a dynamic civilization based on Islamic values, but it needs adaptation to remain relevant in the context of globalization.
