Abstract

ABSTRAK Isolator merupakan komponen yang penting dijaga keandalannya dalam sistem transmisi dan distribusi tenaga listrik. Isolator rentan mengalami kegagalan akibat lingkungan, karena terpapar langsung kondisi dimana isolator tersebut terpasang. Salah satu jenis isolator yang sering digunakan adalah bahan keramik, dimana memiliki kelebihan diantaranya kekuatan mekanik yang cukup handal. Namun kekurangan isolator jenis ini adalah sifat permukaannya yang hidrofilik, yaitu mudah menyerap air sehingga bila digunakan pada kelembaban tinggi cenderung memicu timbulnya arus bocor. Arus bocor merupakan parameter penting pada isolator karena sering menjadi penyebab kegagalan isolator. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kondisi lingkungan terhadap arus bocor, dilakukan pengujian terhadap isolator keramik dalam waktu 24 jam. Data arus bocor diambil setiap 3 jam untuk melihat perubahannya berdasarkan perubahan kelembaban, dan suhu lingkungan. Hasilnya didapat bahwa semakin tinggi kelembaban udara, dan semakin rendah suhu lingkungan maka arus bocor semakin tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan untuk mengantisipasi kegagalan isolator keramik akibat arus bocor sehingga keandalan sistem tenaga listrik dapat terjaga. Kata kunci: Isolator keramik, Lingkungan, Kelembaban, Suhu. ABSTRACT Isolator is an important component that must be maintained to keep electric power transmission and distribution system reliability. Isolators are susceptible to failure due to the environment, because they are directly exposed to conditions where the insulator installed. Ceramic insulator is one type of isolator that is often used, which has advantages including mechanical strength that is quite reliable. However, the lack of this type of isolator is its hydrophilic surface, which is easy to absorb water so that when used at high humidity tends to trigger a leakage current. Leakage current is an important parameter in an insulator because it can be a cause due to insulator failure. To find out how environmental conditions impact on leakage currents along day, a ceramic isolator is tested within 24 hours. Leakage current data is taken every 3 hours to see the changes based on changes in humidity, and ambient temperature. The result is the higher humidity of the air, and the lower ambient temperature, can make insulator leakage current rise up. The results of this study can be used as a reference to anticipate the failure of ceramic insulators due to leakage currents so that the reliability of the electric power system can be maintained. Abstract

The third mission of a university is a community service. Based on this mission, this paper presents the activity of community service. The activity was training for senior high school students and teachers. The subjects of the training are actuators, IoT, and IP address. These components or subsystems are very important basic industrial instrumentation for further automation. These subsystems are very correlated with each other. Some actuators are electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic types. There are many applications of IoT and IP addresses, such as smart grids and communications.

Abstract

Swampland has function which significant to human being prosperity. Generally be exploited for the agricultural activity, ranch and fishery. Peasant plant paddy only once in a year, afterwards it is not cultivated again ( blush). If happened attack of mouse pest, flooded and dryness hence will result the failure harvest. They can overcome with cultivation of various commodity type to support improvement of peasant income. Result of research indicate that at superficial swampland and middle swampy can cultivated by rice/palawija/horticulture, deep swampland can cultivated by rice/fish and in lawn afforded by livestock of bird and ruminant population. With improvement of intensity cropping in swampland hence have an effect on to improvement of peasant income. The objective to give information in improving peasant income by affording various commodity type in swampland.

Abstract

This study presents the leakage current measurements results of three natural geothermal polluted porcelain insulators. The insulators consisted of one new-clean insulator, as reference, and three polluted insulators. The carried out measurements were leakage current and applied high voltage waveforms, used a two-channel storage digital oscilloscope, in a hermetically sealed chamber, where temperature, humidity, pressure and applied voltage amplitude could be adjusted and measured simultaneously. The leakage current waveforms were analyzed using the FFT and the statistical concerns were analyzed by the Fast-Minimum Covariance Determinant (FMCD) of robust multivariate statistical tools, and canonical correlation analysis (CCA). The result indicated that after the fundament, the second highest of harmonics leakage current were fifth harmonics. The leakage current waveforms were significantly influenced by humidity, besides pollution. The dependent or output variables are linear functions of independent or input variables. Based on CCA, the dependent parameters depended on input parameters tightly, with the canonical correlations were more than 0.99. The leakage current  amplitudes were still predominantly influenced by applied voltage amplitudes, where the phase angles and THD were slightly influenced by relative humidity. On these experimental measurements, the insulators were still in normal operation.

Abstract

Salah satu peralatan tegangan menengah pada jaringan distribusi saluran udara adalah isolator. Isolator berfungsi mengisolir konduktor saluran distribusi yang bertegangan dengan tiang penyangga konduktor. Karena adanya tegangan menengah tersebut, maka setiap bagian pada isolator mengalami distribusi dan besar potensial dan medan listrik yang berbeda. Distribusi tegangan dan medan listrik pada isolator merupakan daerah yang masih dipengaruhi sifat kelistrikan dari muatan tertentu. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini membahas simulasi distribusi potensial dan medan listrik pada isolator tegangan menengah 20 kV berjenis porselen berbasis finite element method (FEM). Metode ini digunakan untuk memudahkan dalam menghitung potensial listrik dan distribusi medan listrik pada isolator karena merupakan salah satu metode numerik yang lebih praktis untuk memecahkan masalah elektrostatik. Dari hasil simulasi 3D diperoleh pola distribusi potensial listrik selalu mengikuti kontur dari isolator sedangkan untuk distribusi medan listriknya mencapai nilai tertinggi sebesar 5,3 kV/cm. Sedangkan dari grafik distribusi medan listrik terlihat lebih jelas bahwa distribusi medan listrik terbesar terdapat pada titik-titik sambungan isolator-konduktor dan isolator-ground, mencapai 4,5 kV/cm.

Abstract

Sagging adalah jarak utama antara titik terendah konduktor dan garis lurus antara dua titik konduktor. Sedangkan kuat tarik adalah kemampuan menahan suatu penghantar yang diregangkan pada dua titik. Kawat konduktor yang dipasang di antara dua titik struktur pendukung menara transmisi tidak akan membentuk garis horizontal lurus, tetapi akan membentuk saging. Besar kecilnya kemiringan tergantung pada suhu udara di sekitar saluran. Pada siang hari karena panas terik matahari, kawat juga akan menjadi panas dan sedikit memanjang dan bajinya akan lebih besar, sebaliknya pada malam hari dengan kondisi udara yang lebih dingin, kawat akan lebih pendek sehingga mengencang dan sling akan menyusut. Kemiringan dengan metode parabola pada parameter suhu, dari suhu 20 oC kemiringan 0.0898% menurun saat suhu 175 oC kemiringan 0.1544%.

Abstract

This study discusses the design of a 3000 VA PLTS-BBM hybrid power generation system in the tourist village of Kampung Cilintung Situgede Karangpawitan Garut. This is necessary because an energy tourism area will be built there, and it requires an adequate supply of electricity. PLTS is the main electricity supplier combined with the uses of fuel generators to harnest solar radiation in the area. The determination of the initial power energy requirement is 3000 VA or 2550 watts for 18 hours of use so that the energy required is 45900 Wh. The rating of the device used is 48 V. The number of solar panels are 14 panels connected in series-parallel, using 24 units of battery. The generator used is a gasoline generator with a four-stroke engine having a capacity of 3000 W with an electrical output of 220 V AC. The design process also makes use of the PVSyst application. The design of this solar module will be realized in form of a powerhouse to supply the entire tourist village area.

Distribusi potensial serta medan listrik di sekitar isolator ialah wilayah yang masih mendapat pengaruh sifat kelistrikan dari suatu muatan. Riset ini mengulas simulasi distribusi potensial serta medan listrik pada isolator tegangan menengah berjenis porselen berbasis metode elemen hingga (MEH). Metode ini digunakan agar memudahkan dalam mengukur pendistribusian potensial listrik dan medan listrik pada isolator karena merupakan salah satu metode numerik yang lebih praktis untuk memecahkan masalah elektrostatik. Dari hasil simulasi 3D diperoleh pola distribusi potensial listrik selalu mengikuti kontur dari isolator sedangkan untuk distribusi medan listriknya mencapai nilai tertinggi sebesar 5,3 kV/cm. Sedangkan dari grafik distribusi medan listrik terlihat lebih jelas bahwa stress medan listrik yang besar terdapat pada daerah koneksi antara isolator dengan konduktor serta  isolator dengan ground.Kata kunci: Isolator Porselen, Medan Listrik, Metoda Elemen Hingga (MEH), Potensial Listrik.AbstractAn insulator is a fairly significant piece of equipment in a medium-voltage overhead line. The distribution of potential and electric field around an insulator is an area that is still affected by the electrical properties of a charge. This research reviews the distribution of potential and electric field simulations on porcelain-type medium-voltage insulators based on the finite element method (FEM). This method is used to make it easier to measure the distribution of electric potential and electric field on an insulator because it is one of the more practical numerical methods for solving electrostatic problems. From the 3D simulation results, the distribution pattern of the electric potential always follows the contours of the insulator, while the electric field distribution reaches the highest value of 5.3 kV/cm. Meanwhile, from the electric field distribution charts, it is clearer that the large electric field stress is found in the area around the insulator with conductors and insulators with ground.Keywords: Porcelain Insulator, Electric Field, Finite Element Method (FEM), Electric Potential.

Abstract

Reservoir has many functions, one of them is to support aquaculture activities. Reservoir has a limited capacity to support all of the activities in it, so, it needs to know about the carrying capacities of reservoir to support the aquaculture activities. This research was conducted on Kedungombo Reservoir, Middle of Java, Indonesia at July – August, 2023. This research used survey method to collect the primary and secondary data. Primary data collected by observation and interview. Observation used to collect data of water quality, food quantity and fish quantity, by taking 5 stations, then interpolated into 15 stations. The data about reservoir profile and its management also obtained as a secondary data. The measurement of reservoir carrying capacity used Beveridge Method (1996). The average of water quality results are temperature 29,94oC; transparency 74,80 cm; TDS 0,16 mg/l; pH 4,76; DO 8,27 mg/l; BOD 4,73 mg/l; COD 26,93 mg/l; NH3 0,1 mg/l; Nitrate 0,33 mg/l; and total phosphate 0,06 mg/l. The measurement of carrying capacity showed that the permitted amount of fish production is 1.000 tons/year, with a maximum number of floating net cages of 667. But, the existing condition in Kedungombo reservoir, there are 6.178 floating net cages with 9.267 ton/year fish productions. So, it can be concluded that aquaculture activities in the Kedungombo Reservoir have exceeded its carrying capacity.

Abstract

The growth of cellular network technology is very rapid, currently in generation 4 or Long Term Evolution (LTE), namely the development of the third generation. However, there is a problem in this case, namely that there are several cellular networks that are less than optimal considering the very high customer service needs from time to time. The purpose of this study was to improve the quality of performance of several cellular network parameters in the case study area in Lowokwaru District, Malang City. Based on the results that have been carried out by researchers, the results of the average RSRP value before optimization are -100.5 dBm after optimization to -85 dBm, for the average RSRP value before optimization is -10.67 dB after optimization to -6.78, for the SINR value before being optimized 7.6 after being optimized to 29.02 dB. The results value of traffic is 16 user points, the average value per user of downlink data before optimizing is 121 kbps to 128 kbps and the average value of uplink data throughput before optimization is 57.88 kbps 60, 93 kbps. The value of downlink voice throughput before being optimized was 7.16 kbps to 12.2 kbps and the average value of uplink voice throughput before being optimized was 6.43 kbps after being optimized to 12.8 kbps.
