Abstract

Liquefaction poses a significant threat to urban areas with water-saturated alluvial soils, especially in seismically active zones like West Jakarta. Using Cone Penetration Test (CPT) data from 25 locations, soil susceptibility was evaluated through Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR), Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR), and Magnitude Scaling Factor (MSF). Areas with safety factor (FS) values below 1 were identified as having high liquefaction potential. Residential buildings were categorized by floor area and assessed using the 2024 Government Property Sales Value (NJOP) to estimate potential financial loss. Structural damage percentages were determined using seismic intensity thresholds and empirical damage functions. Analysis showed that residential areas with moderate to loose soil conditions, particularly in the northern and western zones, are most vulnerable. The total estimated loss reached IDR 189.8 billion, with the highest concentration of damage in medium and large sized residential properties. These findings emphasize the critical need to integrate geotechnical parameters into spatial risk mapping and urban disaster mitigation planning. A digital loss estimation model combining soil characteristics, seismic parameters, and economic valuation provides a scalable approach for early warning systems and resilience-oriented urban planning. The study contributes to data-driven risk management strategies aligned with sustainable development objectives and adaptive infrastructure policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Muhammad bin Ismail Ash-Shan‘ani’s perspective in Subulussalam regarding the husband’s role in achieving household harmony. Using a qualitative method with a textual and content analysis approach, this research explores Ash-Shan‘ani’s interpretation of a husband’s rights and obligations in fostering a harmonious, loving, and merciful family. The findings reveal that Ash-Shan‘ani emphasizes the husband’s leadership role as a provider, protector, and spiritual guide who must uphold moral integrity in interactions with his wife. Harmony in the household, according to Ash-Shan‘ani, can be realized through mutual fulfillment of rights and duties, effective communication, and adherence to Islamic ethical principles. His thought offers a comprehensive framework that integrates emotional, material, and spiritual responsibilities within marriage. Furthermore, this classical perspective remains relevant in addressing contemporary family challenges by promoting justice, compassion, and mutual respect as the foundation of marital harmony in Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The study discusses the relationship between the environmental capacity of the road in terms of the impact of noise and air pollution caused by vehicles traveling on the road around the school area, namely T. Panglima Nyak Makam in Banda Aceh. Level of noise and air pollution is greatly influenced by the geometric of the road, the volume and, the speed of the vehicle. Traffic volume average of 486.8 pcu/hour/direction and an average speed of 33.19 km/hour. Capacity of this road is 1455.3 pcu/hour. From the research results obtained Leq values ​​ranged from 72.8 dB (A) - 78.2 dB (A), with an average value of 76.00 dB (A). This Leq value indicates a noise level that has an impact on the community that is greater than 70 dB (A), and is still within the maximum noise threshold of 85 dB (A) and has passed the noise standard in the school area of ​​55 dB (A), then This road section is no longer feasible for school areas if assessed from the noise that occurs, for CO pollutants (LV) 1,301 ppm, CO (HV) 0.016 ppm, NOX 0.096 ppm, and HC 0.063 ppm. This shows that is still feasible because the DS limit for urban roads is 0.85 and classified as this road is still able to accommodate the traffic volume with the estimated air pollution provided.

Abstract

تستكشف هذه الدراسة الاستخدام الغني للغة المجازية في هذه السورة من القرآن الكريم. الهدف الرئيسي من هذا البحث هو الكشف عن الأجهزة البلاغية والجمالية المستخدمة في سورة الكهف وتحليل تأثيرها على المعنى العام للنص وفعاليته. باستخدام منهج البحث المكتبي، تتضمن الدراسة مراجعة شاملة للمصادر الكلاسيكية والمعاصرة حول البلاغة العربية وتفسير القرآن. تكشف النتائج أن سورة الكهف تستخدم مجموعة متنوعة من المجازات التي لا تعزز فقط جمالها الأدبي بل تعمق أيضًا رسائلها الروحية والأخلاقية. تعمل هذه المجازات على إشراك القارئ، واستحضار الصور الحية، ونقل الأفكار المعقدة بطريقة يسهل فهمها. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن العناصر البلاغية والأسلوبية في سورة الكهف هي جزء لا يتجزأ من غايتها، حيث تقدم رؤى حول التقنيات المتطورة المستخدمة في القرآن للتواصل مع الحقائق العميقة. يساهم هذا البحث في فهم أكبر للغة القرآنية وأهميتها الدائمة في الدراسات الإسلامية.

Abstract

Walimatul ‘ursy merupakan salah satu bentuk syiar dalam pernikahan yang dianjurkan dalam Islam sebagai sarana mengumumkan pernikahan kepada masyarakat serta sebagai wujud rasa syukur kepada Allah SWT atas terlaksananya akad nikah. Dalam praktiknya, pelaksanaan walimah di tengah masyarakat mengalami berbagai perkembangan yang dipengaruhi oleh budaya lokal dan kondisi sosial, salah satunya adalah penyelenggaraan walimah atau acara pernikahan dengan hiburan berupa orkes dangdut atau hiburan sejenis. Fenomena ini menimbulkan perbedaan pandangan di kalangan masyarakat maupun ulama, khususnya terkait kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam dan nilai-nilai moral yang dijunjung tinggi dalam syariat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif tinjauan hukum Islam serta pandangan para ulama terhadap hukum mengadakan walimah atau acara pernikahan dengan menghadirkan orkes dangdut atau hiburan sejenis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan normatif, yaitu menelaah sumber-sumber hukum Islam yang meliputi Al-Qur’an, hadis, pendapat para ulama fikih, serta literatur fiqh klasik dan kontemporer yang relevan dengan tema pembahasan. Selain itu, artikel ini juga memperhatikan aspek sosial dan budaya masyarakat sebagai konteks pelaksanaan walimah di era modern. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pada dasarnya Islam membolehkan bahkan menganjurkan pelaksanaan walimah sebagai bagian dari sunnah Rasulullah SAW, selama pelaksanaannya tidak bertentangan dengan ketentuan syariat. Para ulama pada umumnya membolehkan adanya hiburan dalam walimah, termasuk musik, dengan syarat tidak mengandung unsur-unsur yang diharamkan seperti ikhtilat yang tidak terjaga, membuka aurat, lirik atau gerakan yang mengandung maksiat, serta hal-hal yang melalaikan dari kewajiban agama. Namun, apabila pelaksanaan orkes dangdut dalam walimah disertai dengan perbuatan yang melanggar norma syariat dan akhlak Islam, maka hukumnya dapat berubah menjadi makruh bahkan haram sesuai dengan tingkat pelanggarannya. Dengan demikian, artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa hukum mengadakan walimah atau acara pernikahan dengan orkes dangdut atau hiburan sejenis bersifat kondisional, bergantung pada cara pelaksanaan dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih proporsional dan moderat kepada masyarakat dalam menyikapi tradisi walimah, sehingga pelaksanaannya tetap sejalan dengan tujuan pernikahan dalam Islam, yaitu mewujudkan sakinah, mawaddah, dan rahmah, tanpa mengabaikan nilai-nilai syariat dan etika keislaman.

Abstract

Andrographolide is an active compound extracted from Andrographis paniculata. It is commonly used in traditional medicine to reduce inflammation and fight bacteria. Studies show that andrographolide can stop bacteria from growing by disrupting their DNA and biofilm formation. It can also help regulate the immune system and lower inflammation caused by bacterial infections. Therefore, andrographolide has the potential to be an alternative to synthetic antibiotics, helping to prevent bacterial resistance and reduce side effects from synthetic antibiotic use. This study aims to investigate the potential antibacterial activity of andrographolide against S. aureus (ATCC 25923), S. epidermidis (ATCC 12228), K. pneumoniae (ATCC 70063), and P. aeruginosa (ATCC 9027). This study utilized the disc diffusion method to determine the inhibitory effects of andrographolide, as well as Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) assays to evaluate its bactericidal properties. Disc diffusion test (3.0 mg/mL) found that andrographolide can inhibit P. aeruginosa (23.70 mm), S. aureus (16.37 mm), S. epidermidis (19.77 mm), and K. pneumoniae (14.63 mm). The bacteria S. aureus, S. epidermidis, and K. pneumoniae have the same MIC and MBC values (1.5 mg/mL), while P. aeruginosa has a different value (0.75 mg/mL). These results indicate the bactericidal category at this concentration. Future research should explore how andrographolide works against various strains of bacteria and also investigate how andrographolide affects biofilms.

Abstract

Matematika sering dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang abstrak dan sulit oleh siswa. Guru-guru telah berusaha dengan menggunakan MS word tetapi presisinya sangat terbatas, sehingga visualisasi grafis belum tersaji dengan akurat.  Untuk itu, Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dari Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Samudra menyelenggarakan workshop tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi Desmos. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang visualisasi grafis matematis sebagai alat bantu mengajar. Workshop dilaksanakan selama dua hari di MTsN 8 Aceh Timur dan diikuti oleh 25 guru yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Matematika MTsN se-Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, dan diskusi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dari para peserta. Di akhir sesi, seluruh peserta berhasil merancang setidaknya satu visualisasi grafis interaktif menggunakan Desmos, seperti grafik fungsi linear, kuadrat, dan trigonometri dengan slider dinamis. Berdasarkan evaluasi, kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi dan kreativitas guru dalam menyajikan materi matematika yang lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami. Diharapkan penerapan Desmos dapat secara berkelanjutan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di lingkungan MTsN Aceh Timur.

Abstract

PHBS stands for Clean and Healthy Living Behavior outreach activity for managers and vendors at Loang Baloq Tourism Park in Mataram City aims to increase public awareness and knowledge in maintaining the cleanliness of the tourist environment. Through this activity, it is hoped that a clean, healthy, and comfortable tourist environment will be created for visitors and support the government's efforts to realize a sustainable tourism destination. The implementation method includes outreach, demonstrations, and direct assistance in the field. Community service partners are vendors and managers of Loang Baloq Tourism Park, totaling 20 participants. The evaluation was carried out in the form of a pre-test and post-test on the PHBS concept, the importance of a clean tourist environment, waste management, and hygiene practices in selling food and beverages. The results of the activity showed an 85% increase in participants' understanding of the importance of PHBS, based on the results of the pretest (average 57.75%) and posttest (85.25%), as well as a commitment to implementing clean and healthy behaviors in daily activities. The implementation of PHBS not only impacts individual health but also improves environmental quality and tourist attractions. Follow-up, including regular mentoring and policy support from local governments, is necessary to ensure sustainable PHBS implementation.

Abstract

Balitbangtan Superior Village Chicken (KUB) is one of the innovation results in the development of local poultry that has high prospects as a source of animal protein and income for village communities. This community service activity was carried out to improve the knowledge and skills of farmers regarding appropriate technology in raising KUB chickens. The program implementation method was carried out from September 1 to November 31, 2025 with a participatory approach through the stages, 1) Socialization and Needs Identification, 2) Technical Counseling and Training, 3) Continuous Mentoring and Monitoring and 4) Evaluation and Feedback. This Community Service Activity has been implemented in Pejanggik Village, Central Lombok Regency on Monday, September 1, 2025. The technologies applied are, 1) Cage Technology, 2) Hatching Technology, 3) Feed Technology, 4) Health and Management Technology. The results of the implementation showed a significant increase in the skills and understanding of partners. The average pretest score of 52.5% increased to 94.75% in the posttest. The success rate for implementing cage technology increased from 65% to 94%, hatching technology from 50% to 90%, feeding technology from 55% to 97%, and health and management technology from 55% to 98%. Furthermore, the partner satisfaction questionnaire scored 95% (very satisfied). In conclusion, this program not only improves the technical aspects of KUB chicken farming but also empowers the community.

Abstract

Research Background: Time management skills are considered an important learning competency frequently associated with students’ academic achievement, as they contribute to organizing learning activities, improving learning readiness, and supporting effective task completion. In Physical Education, the learning process emphasizes not only conceptual understanding but also practical skills involving physical activities. These distinctive learning characteristics raise questions regarding whether time management skills are related to PE learning outcomes in both cognitive and psychomotor domains. Research Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between time management skills and PE learning outcomes among ninth-grade students of SMP Khadijah Surabaya. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The participants consisted of 154 students selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a time management skills questionnaire and assessments of cognitive and psychomotor learning outcomes aligned with the school curriculum standards. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rank correlation test to identify relationships between research variables. Results: The findings indicated no significant relationship between time management skills and cognitive learning outcomes (r = 0.018; p = 0.829), psychomotor learning outcomes (r = 0.002; p = 0.977), or overall, PE learning outcomes (r = 0.014; p = 0.862). Conclusion: Time management skills are not a primary factor influencing students’ PE learning achievement. PE learning outcomes are more strongly influenced by the quality of the learning process, physical activity motivation, practical experience, and a supportive learning environment that encourages active student engagement.
