Abstract

Abstrak Pendekatan keterampilan proses adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengarah pada pengembangan kemampuan dasar untuk menemukan fakta dan konsep ataupun pengembangan sikap dan nilai melalui proses belajar mengajar yang telah mengaktifkan mahasiswa sehingga mampu menumbuhkan sejumlah keterampilan tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil pretest sebanyak 18 orang (69%) mahasiswa masih berada pada kategori “kurang” atau belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar minimal, dan 8 orang (31%) mahasiswa berada pada kategori “cukup”. Selanjutnya dilaksanakan pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses, dan dilakukan observasi aktifitas mahasiswa dan diperoleh hasil, bahwa dari 8 aktifitas keterampilan proses yang mendominasi aktifitas mahasiswa selama proses pembelajaran adalah aktifitas mengamati (63,5%) dan menggunakan alat dan bahan (65,4%). Selanjutnya aktifitas merencanakan penelitian (44,2%) dan mengomunikasikan hasil penelitian (44,2%) berada pada tingkat 3 dan 4 teratas. Aktifitas lainnya hanya berkisar 7% s/d 25 % dari jumlah mahasiswa. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Proses, Konsep Dasar IPA

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di PGSD FIP Unimed dengan tujuan untuk meningkakan Higher Order Thinking Skills mahasiswa PGSD FIP Unimed. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh, pada kelas kontrol denganmenggunakanmetodeceramahdiperoleh data dengan rata-rata hasil belajar 79.08 sedangkandenganmodel pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifikdiperoleh data rata-rata hasil belajar adalah 83.03.Berdasarkanperhitungandiperoleh data Fhitung> Ftabel yaitu 6,53 > 2.67 maka Ho ditolak dan dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan implementasi model problem- based learning dengan Pendekatan Saintifik dalam meningkatkan Higher Order Thinking Skills.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur aktivitas menulis mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa aktivitas menulis mahasiswa dalam setiap proses pembelajaran masih rendah. Beberapa mahasiswa yang melakukan aktivitas menulis, sebagian besarnya menulis dengan cara memindahkan apa yang ada pada sumber informasi (buku, slide powerpoint, dll) ke buku catatan. Sangat sedikit mahasiswa yang melakukan aktivitas menulis dengan cara mengolah informasi yang diperoleh dan membangun pengetahuannya sendiri lalu dituliskan ke dalam buku catatan. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah IPA. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pencatatan sains dalam Science Logbook melalui Scientific Approach. Hasil yang diperoleh dari siklus I dan siklus II adalah terjadi peningkatan aktivitas saintifik mahasiswa dan juga peningkatan hasil test akhir mahasiswa. Aktivitas menulis mahasiswa dalam Science Logbook juga mengalami peningkatan, hal ini dilihat dari hasil penilaian Science logbook dari peringkat kurangbaik menjadi peringkat sangat baik. Kata Kunci: Scientific Approach, Science Logbook, IPA

Abstract

This research was executed at SMK Sandhy Putra 2 Medan. The purpose of this research is to know how far the teachers understanding of the competence of educators. Researchers use interviews and questionnaires to know the competence of professional teachers. Based on calculations, it is shown that the mean value of teacher competence data is 180.7. With the lowest 168 and  the highest 195 so that the range of data is 27. Median data 182, the Modus is 182 and the standard deviation 8.0006. Abstract

At the beginning of the establishment of the reading park it was intended as a means of reading for the community, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the reading garden no longer functions as it used to, there was a decrease in visits by people who initially visited the reading garden a lot. Based on observations, the decrease in the interest of reading garden visitors was caused by several things, namely 1) the design of the reading park location was not well organized; 2) A collection of reading gardens that are less varied and not updated; 3) Social restrictions imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic; and 4) the lack of understanding of the management of the reading park (Community for the Children of the Pond Village and Karang Taruna) regarding the management of an attractive reading park and in accordance with health protocol standards during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, based on this problem, a solution was agreed upon to provide strengthening of the governance of the community reading garden for the Children's Community in the Pool Village and the Karang Taruna in the Pool Village as the manager of the "Melati" Community Reading Park in the Pool Village and make the reading garden a means of learning for children during the Covid period. -19.Keywords: Community Reading Gardens, Children's Learning Facilities, Covid-19

Abstract

Through HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) based authentic learning and assessment assistance conducted at SDN 101766 Bandar Setia for class teachers, the results were obtained that the teachers could carry out HOTS-based authentic learning and assessment in Elementary Schools after obtaining material, training and mentoring from the service team. This mentoring activity was based on the results of preliminary observations at SDN 101766 Bandar Setia, that the teachers did not really understand the authentic HOTS-based learning and assessment and also still had difficulty in applying HOTS to learning. Furthermore, assistance was provided to SDN 101766 Bandar Setia teachers through workshops, training and mentoring activities. Activities carried out in three stages, namely: 1) Preparation; 2) Implementation; 3) Evaluation, and 4) Follow Up. The products produced through this activity are a Book Collection of RPP and HOTS-based Authentic Assessment, HOTS-based Authentic Assessment Handbook, Activity Videos, and Learning Videos.Keywords: authentic assessment, HOTS, competence.

Abstract

This research conducted in PGSD FIP Unimed  to increase Higher Order Thinking Skills of PGSD students. Based on the research results, in the control class using the conventional method the average learning outcome 79.08 whereas with the model of Problem Based Learning learning with the scientific approach data average learning outcome is 83.03. Based on the calculation obtained Fhitung> Ftabel yaitu 6,53 > 2.67, then Ho is rejected and it can be concluded there are significant differences in implementation of Problem-based Learning model with scientific approach in increasing Higher Order Thinking Skills.Keywords: Higher Order Thinking Skilss, Problem-Based Learning, Scientific Approach
