Abstract

Hypertension has become one of the causes of high mortality and illness and can cause complications such as heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. The increase in hypertension in Indonesia, including Kapasa Village, is very worrying. Referring to the Government program, this CERDIK activity is considered necessary in order to prevent hypertension complications. The purpose of this research is to implement a community-based government program as an effort to detect and prevent hypertension disease. The method used, the implementation is divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study showed that the respondents suffered from hypertension with a fairly high range and some respondents had experienced increased cholesterol and a lack of knowledge. This discussion suggests that hypertension is caused by negative behavioral triggers, such as the consumption of unhealthy foods and smoking and alcohol behaviors. The recommendations in this activity are to emphasize the community's compliance to carry out routine blood tests, light exercise in the morning, and the need to increase knowledge as a counter measuring tool for CERDIK to reduce the growth rate of hypertension cases in the community

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of inclusive tourism at Bira Beach, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi, focusing on accessibility and local community empowerment as key components of sustainable coastal tourism. Although Bira Beach possesses exceptional natural potential, several challenges remain particularly limited accessibility for people with disabilities and insufficient community involvement in destination management. Using a qualitative evaluative approach, this research applies the Universal Design Principles framework combined with community empowerment theory to assess the effectiveness of inclusive tourism development programs. Data were obtained through interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving local residents, tourism stakeholders, and government representatives. The findings indicate that accessibility facilities, such as ramps, special toilets, and digital information systems, are still inadequate, resulting in unequal opportunities for all visitors. In addition, local communities are mostly involved in small-scale tourism activities and have limited participation in strategic decision-making processes. This condition constrains the realization of sustainable and inclusive tourism benefits. The study recommends improving physical and digital accessibility, enhancing training and capacity-building programs for local residents, and strengthening collaboration between government, private sectors, and non-governmental organizations. The integration of inclusive design and community empowerment can support Bira Beach’s transformation into an accessible and sustainable marine tourism destination that benefits all stakeholders.

Abstract

This‍‌‍‍‌ study is centered around the idea of how the factors like perceived usefulness, social influence, and user experience impact the employee's intention to technology acceptance in the startups of Indonesia. The study was performed by us through a quantitative approach and a questionnaire of 150 employees from different digital startups in Indonesia. I ensured that the participants met the criteria of being technology users in their daily work. The data analysis was done through multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that the three factors, i.e. perceived usefulness, social influence, and user experience, have positive and significant impacts on the technology acceptance ‍‌‍‍‌intention. Perceived usefulness focuses on the benefits of technology and increases confidence, social influence enhances positive social norms, and user experience offers a more comfortable and intuitive digital encounter. Theoretically, this study adds to the knowledge of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in the context of startups, and practically, I aim to provide management with the recommended approach to bolster digitalization efforts using perceived usefulness, social support, and user experience in the strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to deconstruct the hegemony of manipulation culture in global and national financial reporting practices occurring over the past decade. It proposes Islamic Ethics as a fundamental antithesis to restore accounting integrity. This research employs a non-positivist paradigm with a critical study approach. Data analysis was conducted using the dialectical method to juxtapose the reality of manipulation (thesis) against Islamic values (antithesis) to generate a new synthesis. The critical analysis identifies three dimensions of the failure of amanah (trust). First, ontologically, modern financial statements have become entrapped in a simulacrum (hyperreality); Islamic ethics deconstructs this through the concepts of al-haqq and the prohibition of tadlis, demanding that financial statements serve as a document of syahadah (testimony). Second, epistemologically, the instrumental rationality of homo economicus has proven ineffective at preventing fraud; Islam offers the epistemology of muraqabah (inherent divine supervision), which dismantles the rationalization of fraud. Third, axiologically, the hegemony of profit maximization is replaced by the synthesis of barakah (blessing) based on maslahah as an indicator of sustainable performance. This research concludes that a shift from horizontal accountability to Transcendental Accountability is necessary. The accounting profession must transform from mere record-keepers into guardians of amanah who hold their integrity accountable to God, transcending mere compliance with formal regulations.

Abstract

Lowita Beach was a tourist area in Suppa District, Pinrang Regency, with 11 tourist attractions. The annual increase in visitors to Lowita Beach can compromise tourist comfort and damage the area's natural habitat. This is the basis for researchers to analyse the Physical Carrying Capacity (PCC) of Lowita Beach. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of tourist activities, assess the physical carrying capacity of the area, and formulate the role of tourist villages in managing the Lowita Beach area. The research approach used was research and development, as initiated by Borg and Gall: the calculation of Physical Carrying Capacity (PCC), area parameters, and the number of tourists. The study population comprised 93 tourists who visited the Lowita Beach area. Data was collected through the completion of questionnaires, interviews, measurements, and field observations. A quantitative-descriptive approach was used for data analysis. The Physical Carrying Capacity (PCC) analysis reveals that Lowita Beach's ideal capacity is 1 visitor per day, yet it currently hosts an average of 35 visitors daily, significantly surpassing this threshold. This overcapacity indicates that the beach is experiencing environmental strain and underscores the need for management strategies to align visitor numbers with sustainable limits. In conclusion, despite the physical carrying capacity (PCC) of Lowita Beach being 17 visitors per day, the present daily visitor count suggests that the beach is currently facing overcrowding, albeit not to a significant extent. Hence, it is necessary to implement policy interventions from the tourist villages of Tasiwalie and Wiringtasi, which should include the establishment of standardized operating procedures and fostering collaboration among stakeholders, in order to ensure sustainable tourism management at Lowita Beach.
