Abstract

Di era digital sekarang ini dibutuhkan kemampuan individu yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif diberbagai bidang, sehingga siswa SMK harus lebih mempersiapkan kompetensinya. Dalam hal ini kompetensi berkaitan dengan jurusan yang mereka pilih. Rata-rata siswa salah mengambil jurusan sekitar 35%, ikut teman sekitar 50%, untuk siswa yang benar-benar tepat memilih jurusan 15%. Untuk hal ini maka dibutuhkan metode sistem pendukung keputusan MOORA dalam hal mennetukan jurusan sesuai dengna minat dan bakat siswa. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Waterfall. Tujuan penelitian ini mendesain sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat digunakan untuk pemilihan jurusan sesuai minat siswa dengan memanfaatkan keputusan hasil metode MOORA. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggambarkan perhitungan MOORA untuk pemilihan jurusan maka calon siswa mendapatkan keputusan untuk memilih jurusan Multimedia karena memiliki nilai tertinggi

Abstract

Broken home is a term that defines a situation in a family where most people handle no harmony, happiness, or peace. The impact of a broken home on a depressed family on children who can experience mental, emotional, and behavioral changes that are uncontrolled and undirected. Therefore, a classification is needed to categorize a child in a family as a broken home or not. The classification process will apply the Naïve Bayes Classifier classification method by taking into account the factors that refer to the statement that a child is called a broken home. With this classification, it is hoped that it can help know what and how a broken home child can be called a broken home and with this classification, it is expected that parents can minimize broken homes in children in the future by paying attention to the determining factors.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi komputer telah menyentuh sektor pertanian dan telah digunakan di hampir semua tahap produksi, mulai dari tahap pengolahan lahan, penanaman, hingga pascapanen. Penggunaan teknologi yang tepat dan efektif selama periode pascapanen dapat memberikan manfaat yang efisien untuk peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas produk pertanian. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi, teknik manual untuk menyortir buah diganti dengan mesin yang dilengkapi dengan teknik komputer visi dan kecerdasan buatan. Para peneliti dan penemu merancang berbagai mesin yang berbeda untuk buah untuk mengurangi usaha manusia. Desa Doulu merupakan Desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Brastagi Kabupaten Karo Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang cukup di kenal karena memiliki objek wisata yang cukup menarik untuk dikunjungi. Sebuah desa yang menyajikan lokasi objek wisata di Desa tersebut menampilkan pesona alam yang cukup menakjubkan untuk para wisatawan local maupun mancanegara. Desa Doulu memiliki banyak tempat lokasi perkebunan berbagai jenis buah-buahan yang ditanam petani desa tersebut, hal ini yang menjadikan daya tarik objek wisata yang cukup baik dan menyehatkan untuk wisatawan. Permasalahan yang didapat dari tersebut tersebut ialah petani cukup kerepotan pada saat musim panen buah-buahan yang mereka tanam begitu cukup melimpah sehingga menyulitkan para petani untuk memilih satu persatu buah-buahan yang mereka panen dari kebun yang ada di Desa Doulu Kecamatan Berastagi Kabupaten Karo. Hal ini dibutuhkan teknologi yang dapat mempermudah para petani buah-buahaan untuk mensortir jenis buah-buahan yang mereka tanam di Desa Doulun Kecamatan Berastagi Kabupaten Karo. Sehingga para para petani buah-buahan yang ada di Desa Doulu tetap dapat mengoptimalkan waktu dalam hal menyortir jenis buah-buahan yang mereka panen. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut penulis akan membuat sebuah penelitian untuk mendeteksi jenis buah-buahan yang akan disortir berdasarkan jenis buah yang ada di Desa Doulu. Sistem cerdas yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini akan menggunakan mikrokontroller arduino dan beberapa sensor yang dapat memilih jenis buah-buahan tersebut.

Abstract

Testing in dental medical recognition and recording is still done manually, causing it to take a long time. In this study, an object detection method was applied to assist doctors in identifying patient conditions. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method was trained with an intraoral image dataset that includes five categories of tooth conditions: normal, filling, caries, and residual roots. CNN performance evaluation was conducted using evaluation metrics, and the results showed that the best CNN model achieved an mAP of 84% and a testing accuracy of 82%. This research successfully achieved its main goal, which is to build a reliable deep learning model for dental disease detection and recognition in humans.

Abstract

QoS (Quality of Service) results for throughput, packet loss and delay as well as data transfer process performance tests were carried out with the NS-3 simulator based on the number of nodes that are continuously added according to the scenario on the ad hoc network. The scenario of adding nodes is carried out in stages starting from 10 nodes, increasing to 20 nodes, up to 40 nodes. The results of the analysis and measurements obtained for throughput produce an average value of 3.1872 Kbps so that it is included in the good category. The packet loss parameter produces an average value of 3.48% which is included in the good category and the delay parameter produces an average value of 6,824 ms which is also included in the good category. The final results of the ad hoc network simulation process with NS-3 are presented in graphical view

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital age, information technology has become a key component in various aspects of life, including the education sector. One technology that shows great potential is chatbot, a computer program designed to simulate human conversation. This research aims to develop a simple chatbot that can provide academic information to the community, using the Python programming language and the Flask framework. This chatbot utilizes Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology to understand and respond to user questions. The results show that the chatbot developed by Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) can improve accessibility and efficiency in the dissemination of academic information. With further improvements in language understanding capabilities and integration with more comprehensive academic databases, this chatbot has the potential to become a very useful tool in the academic environment. This research makes an important contribution in utilizing digital technology to improve educational services and user experience in accessing academic information.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of high-pass and low-pass filters on high-resolution images using MATLAB software. High-pass and low-pass filters are two basic techniques in image processing that have different functions. A high-pass filter is used to accentuate details and edges in an image, while a low-pass filter is used to smooth the image and reduce noise. This research covers the application of both types of filters on various high-resolution images, as well as the analysis of filter performance based on image quality metrics such as Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Mean Squared Error (MSE). The results show that the high-pass filter is effective in preserving edge details, but increases the noise level. In contrast, low-pass filters are effective in reducing noise, but may cause the loss of some important details in the image.

Abstract

Noise reduction in digital images is one of the main challenges in image processing. Noise can be caused by various factors such as camera sensors, environmental conditions, and data compression. Adaptive filters have become an effective method to reduce noise without sacrificing important details in the image. This study aims to evaluate the performance of different types of adaptive filters, including Adaptive Median Filter, Wiener Filter, and Anisotropic Diffusion Filter, in reducing Gaussian noise, salt-and-pepper noise, and speckle noise. The experimental results show that the Adaptive Median Filter is very effective for reducing salt-and-pepper noise, while the Wiener Filter gives the best results for Gaussian noise and speckle noise. The Anisotropic Diffusion Filter shows balanced performance for all types of noise with satisfactory visual results. Although adaptive filters have higher computational complexity, the gains in image quality make them feasible for applications that require high-quality results. This research confirms the great potential of adaptive filters in improving digital image quality and provides recommendations for practical applications in various fields.

Abstract

Masyarakat Indonesia yang mayoritas Islam menjadi peluang tersendiri bagi Badan Komunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia (BKPRMI) untuk memainkan peran penting dalam memberdayakan potensi pemuda dan remaja muslimnya. Dewan Pengurus Kecamatan Badan Komunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia (DPK BKPRMI) Kecamatan Pulo Bandring dalam memandang berbagai permasalahan bangsa Indonesia ke depan serta menyikapi beberapa permasalahan umat, antara lain menjadikan masjid sebagai pusat ibadah dan peradaban umat Islam. Melalui penelitian ini peranan BKPRMI dalam meningkatkan kesadaran pemuda untuk memakmurkan Masjid di Kecamatan Pulo Bandring Kabupaten Asahan, secara kualitatif bermaksud memahami realitas empirik dari fenomena-fenomena yang muncul dalam proses pengamatanobjek penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini yang akan diamati adalah pemuda Masjid Al Falah Desa Gedangan, Masjid Al Huda Desa Tanah Rakyat, Masjid Jamiul Mukminin Desa Sukadamai Kecamatan Pulo Bandring Kabupaten Asahan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran untuk memakmurkan masjid.

Abstract

Multispectral image is a type of digital image that captures spectral information in several channels or bands. Edge detection is one of the basic techniques in image processing which is used to identify the boundaries of objects in an image. This research aims to analyze the performance of several edge detection algorithms on multispectral images. The algorithms tested include the Sobel, Prewitt, Roberts, Canny, and Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) algorithms. Tests were carried out on high resolution multispectral images from the Landsat-8 satellite. The evaluation metrics used are accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The research results show that the Canny algorithm has the best performance with the highest F1-score compared to other algorithms. Apart from that, this research also analyzes the effect of the number of channels in multispectral images on the performance of edge detection algorithms.
