Abstract

Kinerja institusi merupakan elemen penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan pencapaian visi dan misi organisasi, khususnya dalam konteks lembaga pemerintah yang berorientasi pada pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan publik terhadap kinerja institusi melalui peran digitalisasi sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisis SWOT. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 191 responden yang meliputi pegawai Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan (KSOP) Utama Makassar serta pengguna jasa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS serta pengujian inner model sebagai bagian dari analisis data struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan publik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja institusi. Selain itu, digitalisasi juga terbukti memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja serta berfungsi sebagai variabel mediasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara kualitas pelayanan publik dan kinerja institusi pada Kantor KSOP Utama Makassar. Dengan demikian, penguatan implementasi digitalisasi pelayanan publik menjadi strategi penting untuk mengoptimalkan efektivitas pelayanan, meningkatkan efisiensi kerja, dan memperkuat profesionalisme institusi dalam merespons kebutuhan masyarakat secara lebih cepat, akurat, dan transparan. Institutional performance plays a crucial role in achieving organizational vision and mission, particularly for government institutions responsible for delivering public services. This study aims to analyze the influence of public service quality on institutional performance with digitalization serving as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative, descriptive design with a SWOT analysis. The sample consisted of 191 respondents, including employees of the Makassar Main Harbor Master and the Port Authority Office (KSOP) and service users. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression in SPSS, along with structural model testing (inner model) to validate the relationships among variables. The results of the study demonstrate that public service quality significantly and positively affects institutional performance. Moreover, digitalization has a significant positive influence and acts as a mediating variable, strengthening the relationship between public service quality and institutional performance at the KSOP Makassar Office. These findings emphasize that enhancing digital-based service systems is essential for improving service effectiveness, increasing operational efficiency, and supporting a more transparent, accurate, and responsive institution capable of meeting public expectations in the digital era.

Abstract

This study examines the transition from structural to functional positions at Indonesia’s Public Broadcasting Institution, Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), through the lens of Weberian bureaucracy. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that the transition represents a strategic organizational reform aimed at enhancing professionalism, efficiency, and adaptability in public broadcasting. The implementation reflects key Weberian principles, including division of labor, hierarchical authority, formal rules, impersonality, and career systems, which support competency-based career development and performance accountability. However, several challenges persist, such as task mismatches, incomplete internal regulations, employee resistance, and limited career pathways. Notably, while the division of labor and hierarchical authority function both as enabling and constraining factors, formal rules, impersonality, and career systems predominantly support the reform process. The study concludes that the success of this transition depends on strengthening regulatory frameworks, enhancing human resource capacity, establishing clear competency standards, and ensuring continuous leadership communication and organizational socialization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the discovery learning method on the ability of students to write narrative texts. This type of research is an experimental study with a pre- experimental design. This study was conducted in one class only, by conducting a pre-test and post-test to measure students' writing skills before and after the application of the discovery learning method. The results showed a significant increase in students' average scores, where the average pre-test score was 42.46 and the average post-test reached 57.54. Analysis using the t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the two tests, proving that the discovery learning method is effective in improving students' narrative writing skills. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more innovative learning strategies in the context of modern education.

Abstract

Purpose: This research examines the mechanism of multi-stakeholder transformative dialogue in transforming pesantren orientation through tasawuf values and its relationship with post-conflict deradicalization. Method: A qualitative case study was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Amanah, Poso, Sulawesi Tengah during 12 months (January-December 2024) through observation, interviews, participant observation, and document analysis with a theoretical framework integrating positive dialogue theory from Bourdieu and 45% (2010) positive impacts. Result: The research findings reveal a comprehensive dialogue model that integrates: (1) ekogrit (recognition ecology) transforming rigid understanding of religious uniformity; (2) restructuring curriculum and pedagogy towards contextual-substantivist approaches rather than textualist-formalist such as low self-esteem, patience, and universal love; (3) implementation of sustainable dialogue with multi-religious communities based on the principle of ukhuwan insaniyyah (universal brotherhood) and sulh (reconciliation). Tasawuf values such as iksan, qana'ah, and dzikir practices strengthen collective identity and spiritual resilience in facing post-conflict trauma. Conclusion: The transformation produces tangible impacts: trust among religious communities increased 78% (2010 to 2024), inter-religious conflicts decreased from 12 cases/year to almost zero since 2016, membership growth in Koperasi Syariah Lintas Agama reached 457%, and the deradicalization model based on tasawuf values is replicable for 128,000 pesantren in Indonesia, contributing significantly to SDG 16 regarding peace, justice, and strong institutions.

Abstract

This paper describes the leadership of women in Indonesia in contemporary fiqh. The method used is literature and describes the main problems in the research. The sub-problems that are addressed are the role of women in the era of the Prophet and contemporary fiqh in women's leadership in Indonesia. This study found that the involvement of women in the time of the Prophet was not restricted in social aspects, attending lectures, discussion partners and so on. Reflecting that social involvement in the Sasulullah era was very open to women, it is not appropriate and fair if women are limited in their space of movement in social participation or career. The paradigm of women "staying at home" is not in line with the Prophet's example in his time, especially in today's life, especially in Indonesia, which gives women the freedom to work. The explanations in the collective verses of the Qur'an and Hadith and social facts at the time of the Prophet, as well as historical facts in Indonesia, are evident in the involvement of women in all aspects, including being leaders in social, educational and political aspects. Women's political participation is in line with Indonesia's social and constitutional situation in opening up space for women to be involved in practical politics, including running for Regional Head and President. The potential of women in terms of leading the state (becoming heads of state) is very open and justified in Islam because no text contradicts contextually but provides the same rights and responsibilities as men in all aspects, including religion, social and culture. Abstract

Upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Menanamkan Nilai-nilai Moderasi Beragama di SDN 16 Palu di Kecamatan Palu Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan lokasi di SDN 16 Palu Kecamatan Palu timur. Sumber data diperoleh dari informan yang dinilai memahami permasalahan, melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam menanaman nilai-nilai moderasi beragama berjalan dengan baik sesuai visi misi sekolah dan kurikulum yang digunakan, yaitu untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, nyaman, toleransi dan menyenangkan bagi peserta didik. Guru menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan menanamkan sembilan nilai moderasi beragama untuk membentuk karakter peserta didik yang menghargai keberagaman latar belakang. Temuan ini mengimplementasikan pentingnya guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama pada materi ajar maupun budaya sekolah untuk dapat memperkuat kerukunan sosial di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

The research focused on the process of promotion to high pratama position or echelon 2 in Central Kalimantan Province which was allegedly colored by deviations from the mandate of the ASN Law or paradoxes. The aim of the research is to analyze political intervention in the promotion of positions within the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and to analyze the paradox of promotion to ASN positions in the Merit System within the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government. The research method uses a qualitative approach with case studies combined with grounded theory. The results of the study show that political intervention occurred in the implementation of promotions to high pratama or echelon 2 positions in the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government and the paradox of promotion can be seen from the absence of a relationship between the results of promotion and the merit system.

Abstract

Both students and lecturers experience e-learning adoption and use hype, and it has replaced the conventional learning method due to the covid-19 outbreak.  However, it is limited known how the e-learning adoption rate is changed and improved during the covid-19 outbreak. This study conducted a monthly longitudinal survey from late March to late June 2020 to find out the e-learning adoption and use hype rate.   We randomly distributed 130 questionnaires to students and teaching staff within four faculties at State Islamic University (UIN) of Datokarama Palu.  Our study found that during the early covid-19 outbreak, e-learning was reluctantly adopted by both students and lecturers due to a lack of familiarity and technological skills. However, after the third round survey, we found that the hype of e-learning use reached its peak for both students and lectures.   In the final round survey, the lecturers' hype to adopt and use e-learning was increased to a plateau of productivity where mainstream adoption starts to take off, and e-learning has been used for more teaching productivity purposes. However, the economy's perception was becoming more challenging to students due to the higher cost of Internet connection, while institutions did not fully provide free Internet access. We also found that there is a perception of the students that e-learning is less meaningful compared to face-to-face learning mechanisms. The limitation of this study is that the study was conducted only in one Islamic higher education institution and the covid-19 outbreak is still ongoing. Therefore, further studies might be required to study more samples and more extended periods to produce more valid results.

Abstract

Silica contains impurities that are carried during the sedimentation process. Silica is usually obtained through a mining process that starts from mining quartz sand as a raw material. This study aims to determine the effect of fine aggregate of Malimpung silica sand on the compressive strength of concrete. And to determine the effect of fine aggregate of Saddang river sand on the compressive strength of concrete. In this study, tests were conducted on two types of fine aggregates to determine their effect on the compressive strength of concrete. The research method used is a quantitative experimental method with compressive strength testing at the ages of 7, 14, and 28 days. The results of the study obtained showed that concrete using Malimpung silica sand had a higher compressive strength compared to concrete using Saddang river sand. At the age of 28 days, the compressive strength of concrete with a composition of 100% silica sand reached 28.120 MPa, while concrete with 100% river sand only reached 19.439 MPa.
