Abstract

Writing is a complex and essential skill in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning that requires not only linguistic accuracy but also cognitive engagement, interaction, and reflection. This study aims to examine the relationship between constructivist writing instructional practices implemented through Authentic Project-Based Learning (A-PBL) and students’ writing performance outcomes. Employing a quantitative quasi-experimental one-group pre-test–post-test design, the study involved 35 first-semester undergraduate students enrolled in a Writing course at Universitas Islam Syekh Yusuf. Data were collected through writing performance tests assessing contextual, interactive, and reflective writing, as well as a questionnaire measuring students’ engagement in constructivist practices, including brainstorming, collaborative writing, peer feedback, real-world writing tasks, and instructional scaffolding. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis, and Canonical Correlation Analysis (CCA). The findings reveal a statistically significant multivariate relationship between constructivist learning practices and writing performance outcomes, with interactive and reflective writing emerging as the most strongly influenced dimensions. Although contextual writing did not show a direct significant effect, it functioned as a foundational component supporting higher-level writing engagement. The study concludes that constructivist-oriented writing instruction, particularly through A-PBL, effectively promotes interactive and reflective writing development and provides a theoretically grounded approach for enhancing EFL writing performance in higher education contexts.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, artificial intelligence, and network-based learning environments has fundamentally transformed how knowledge is produced, distributed, and learned. This transformation exposes limitations in classical learning theories that were developed in relatively stable and linear educational contexts. Connectivism emerges as a theoretical response to these changes, emphasizing learning as a process of forming and maintaining connections within distributed knowledge networks. However, connectivism continues to face conceptual and practical criticism, particularly regarding its epistemological status and pedagogical applicability in formal education. This study aims to reconstruct connectivism theory within the landscape of 21st-century education by critically examining its challenges, identifying its pedagogical opportunities, and articulating its implications for contemporary teaching and learning practices. Using a critical literature review method, this article analyzes key national and international studies related to connectivism, digital pedagogy, and educational transformation. The findings indicate that connectivism remains highly relevant when reconceptualized as an integrative pedagogical framework that balances technological connectivity with cognitive, social, and ethical dimensions of learning. This reconstruction positions connectivism as a viable foundation for adaptive, reflective, and sustainable education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study looks at how organizational culture and transformational leadership style affect worker performance at PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk, using job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Purposive sampling was used to pick 81 employees for the study, which takes a quantitative approach utilizing a survey method. Multiple regression and path analysis approaches were used to examine the data, which were gathered using structured questionnaires. The findings show that corporate culture and transformational leadership significantly and favorably affect workers' job satisfaction. Additionally, employee performance is directly and significantly impacted by these factors. The association between organizational culture and performance was shown to be partially mediated by job satisfaction, which also had a substantial impact on employee performance. However, the association between transformative leadership and employee performance is not mediated by work happiness. These results imply that strong corporate cultures and effective leadership techniques are essential for improving worker performance, both directly and indirectly. The study highlights the importance of strengthening leadership quality, fostering a supportive organizational culture, and improving employee satisfaction to achieve sustainable organizational performance. The results provide practical implications for management in formulating human resource strategies aimed at improving productivity and organizational effectiveness in highly competitive industrial environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers’ strategies in instilling religious values based on the Social Learning Theory proposed by Albert Bandura at SMAN 6 Tangerang Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation involving Islamic Education teachers, guidance and counseling teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model developed by Miles and Huberman. The validity of the data was tested through source triangulation and method triangulation. The results indicate that teachers’ strategies in instilling religious values are systematically implemented through four main stages of Social Learning Theory, namely: (1) attention, where teachers demonstrate exemplary religious behavior that attracts students’ interest and focus; (2) retention, through habituation and value reflection in various religious activities such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, and Friday charity programs; (3) reproduction, when students imitate and practice teachers’ religious behavior in their daily school life; and (4) motivation, which involves both external and internal encouragement to strengthen the continuity of students’ religious behavior. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the success of instilling religious values in schools is not solely determined by cognitive instruction, but also by teachers’ exemplary conduct, consistent habituation, and motivational reinforcement that foster students’ religious self-efficacy. Thus, the Social Learning Theory proposed by Bandura is relevant in the context of religious character education at the secondary school level, as it enables the formation of morality and spirituality through processes of observation, imitation, and value reflection within a contextual learning environment.
