Abstract

Workshops have become an important part of teacher professional development (TPD) in various aspects, particularly in how they impact the development of teachers' professional identity. Despite the numerous studies on Teacher Professional Development (TPD), workshops are under-acknowledged. Therefore, this study aims to explore how the EFL teacher’s experiences through workshop participation influence their professional identity development. Employing a narrative inquiry design, this study explored the single case story data from narrative frames and semi-structured interviews with the emerging theory of Teacher Professional Identity (TPI). Drawing upon the TPI framework (Lu et al., 2024), The findings indicate that workshops enhanced the teacher’s instructional beliefs by broadening pedagogical perspectives, strengthened self-efficacy through increased confidence in instructional delivery, deepened commitment by reinforcing professional motivation, and fostered agency in decision-making and adaptability. These findings not only strengthened the theoretical perspectives from workshop and Teacher Professional Identity (TPI) literature but also extended our understanding of how targeted professional development interventions can support EFL teachers in diverse educational contexts. By demonstrating how workshops contribute to the sustainability of teachers’ professional identity, this study highlights the importance of continuous professional development programs. The findings suggest that well-structured workshops can empower teachers to navigate evolving educational challenges, ultimately improving teaching practices and student learning outcomes. Abstract

21st-century education demands that students adapt to rapid social, economic, and technological change. The Independent Curriculum (Curriculum Merdeka) is designed as a strategy to equip students with essential material, 21st-century skills, and strong character development. One of the main obstacles to learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in elementary schools is students' low problem-solving abilities, as shown by the results of the PISA 2022 international survey. Innovation in learning media is needed, one of which is through the development of videos based on a deep learning approach that can deepen conceptual understanding, support contextual learning, and train higher-order thinking skills. This study aims to develop a deep learning-based learning video to improve students' problem-solving skills in the IPAS subject. The research method uses the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. A trial was conducted on sixth-grade students of SDN Karang Satria 04, Bekasi Regency, using needs questionnaires, expert validation, and problem-solving tests. The results showed that the media was deemed "very valid" and "practical," with 95% of students interested in learning IPAS through videos. Effectiveness tests showed a significant increase in problem-solving abilities, particularly problem identification, hypothesis formulation, and solution determination.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of motivation and education on teacher performance at the Baiturrahman Orphanage Islamic Boarding School in Bekasi Regency. Using a quantitative approach with an associative-causal design, this study involved the entire population of 31 teachers as the sample through a total sampling or census technique. Data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and documentation study, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis through multiple linear regression tests with the SPSS 31 program. The results indicate that: (1) Motivation has a partially positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a tcount (3.487) > ttable (2.04523) and a significance of 0.002 < 0.05. (2) Education has a partially positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with a tcount (3.419) > ttable (2.04523) and a significance of 0.002 < 0.05. (3) Motivation and education simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, with an Fcount (20.957) > Ftable (3.34) and a significance of 0.001 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.600 indicates that 60% of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by motivation and education collectively, while the remaining 40% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that affect interest of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt sharia based financial technology (fintech) as an alternative to capital funding and to support business activities that are important in the sustainability of MSME. The study targets MSMEs in Indonesia, where sharia fintech represents an integration of contemporary financial technology and Islamic law principles. The research adopts the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as its theoretical basis, utilizing a purposive sampling method within a non-probability sampling framework and applying a quantitative research design. Data were collected through an online survey completed by 200 MSME respondents. For analysis, the study employed SEM-PLS technique, with SmartPLS version 4.0 for data processing. The findings reveal that perceived ease of use, trust, and financial literacy significantly and positively influence the intention to adopt sharia fintech. Conversely, perceived usefulness does not have a significant effect. It is also important to note that the study is limited by its sample size, which may restrict the generalizability of the finding to the broader MSME population in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract

. This study aims to reformulate an effective marketing strategy to increase the number of digital wallet transactions on the ActionPay platform. The phenomenon of declining user transaction activity is the background to the need for evaluation and reformulation of business strategies that are adaptive to the dynamics of the digital market. The location or place of the study was at the Head Office of PT. Asia Pelangi Remiten, Jakarta, the research period was two months. The population and sample were all employees of the ActionPay Digital Wallet in Indonesia, totaling 35 employees. The methodology used in this study was a qualitative approach with secondary data analysis by measuring the IFE Matrix (Internal Factor Evaluation), EFE Matrix (External Factor Evaluation), and IE Matrix. The results of the study indicate that the internal environment of the ActionPay digital wallet has a key strength in the form of a strategic partnership with Bank Syariah Indonesia which is very effective in attracting users who are sensitive to transaction costs. This partnership is a crucial asset that supports the growth and sustainability of ActionPay services in the market. However, ActionPay also faces a significant weakness, namely the lack of a deep understanding of the competitive advantages that have been established by the company among all human resources.
