Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai penggunaan dosen terhadap Sistem Informasi Penilaian Kinerja (Silkados) dengan tujuan meningkatkam laporan akuntabilitas beban kerja dan penilaian kinerja dosen di Universitas Negeri Semarang. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 88 dosen selaku pengguna Silkados di lingkungan kerja Universitas Negeri Semarang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibangun dari teori Planned Behavior (Ajzen, 1988) dan Technology Acceptance Model (Davis et al., 1989). Hasil penelitian mendukung secara empiris, bahwa Silkados sangat bermanfaat dan mudah digunakan dosen sebagai pemakai untuk tujuan evaluasi beban kerja dan kinerja, kegunaan dan kemudahan penggunaan Silkados berpengaruh positif pada intensi menggunakan Silkados, intensi menggunakan Silkados berpengaruh positif pada penggunaan Silkados untuk tujuan meningkatkan akuntabilitas pelaporan beban kerja dan evaluasi kinerja dosen sebagai bagian dari perwujudan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah Silkados dapat digunakan sebagai acuan pengembangan profesionalisme dan peningkatan kompetensi dosen sesuai kebutuhan Fakultas. This study aims to assess the use of Performance Assessment Information System (Silkados) by lecturers to increase accountability reporting of lecturer’s workload and performance evaluation in State University of Semarang (Unnes). The sample of this study is 88 lecturers as users of Silkados. Questionnaires are used to collect data based on the theory of planned behavior (Ajzen, 1988) and The technology acceptance model (Davis et al., 1989). The results show that Silkados very useful and easy to use for the lecturers to evaluate their workload and performance. Meanwhile the usefulness and easy to use of Silkados have positive effect on intention of using Silkados, furthermore the intention of using Silkados have positive influence on the use of Silkados to improve accountability reporting of lecturer’s workload and performance evaluation. In the future, Silkados can be used as a reference for professionalism development and competency improvement.

Abstract

Background: The ability to adapt, imitate and modify knowledge in a learning context into another learning context is an important ability for students. However, the ability of pre-service English teachers to adapt their knowledge and skills from one course to other courses has not been studied. This research seeks to find out how pre-service English teachers in one state university in Indonesia adapt knowledge and skills acquired in the Syllabus Design (SD) and Developing EFL Materials (DEM) courses into ESP Program Design (ESP PD) and ESP Materials Development (ESP MD) courses. Methodology: This research is a mixed quantitative and qualitative study involving 54 students who have taken SD, DEM, ESP PD and ESP MD courses in 2022 in a state university in Indonesia. Fifteen of them also took part in a focus group discussion. Their answers to the semi-open questionnaire asking whether the 16 knowledge and skills learned in SD and DEM courses had been adapted were analyzed in a simple quantitative manner with percentages and modes. While the results of focus group discussion about how they adapted them were analyzed qualitatively for themes.Findings: The results of this study show that 15 knowledge and skills in SD and DEM courses were adapted by students into ESP PD and ESP MD courses. The participants adapted them by changing the context of the syllabus and materials the developed in SD and DEM from English at school to English for specific purposes in ESP PD and ESP MD especially when formulating learning objectives. They also developed general English materials into ESP English materials for certain occupations. These findings indicate that students master the contexts of ESP PD and ESP MD.Conclusion: It can be concluded that pre-service English teachers have excellent adaptation skills, which are done not by force, but by choice, to the peripheral component and for the benefit of students. Originality: This is the contribution of this research to students’ learning theory in ESP in English teacher education to add to Leko’s (2015) Evidence by Practice (EBP) theory.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education curriculum has evolved with innovative elements rooted in Islamic teachings. Indonesia faces significant challenges with bullying, notably highlighted by the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), reporting approximately 3,800 cases in 2023, half of which occurred in educational settings, including pesantrens. This literature review explores integrating anti-bullying education into the Islamic Religious Education Curriculum to enhance its role in cultivating values that effectively counteract bullying. By aligning with Islamic principles of compassion and humanity, the study aims to propose practical curriculum development strategies for creating a supportive and inclusive educational environment. The study utilizes a literature review approach, synthesizing data from scholarly sources such as journals, e-books, research reports, and books. This comprehensive review consolidates knowledge on bullying prevention strategies and Islamic educational principles to inform curriculum innovation. Integrating anti-bullying values into the Islamic Religious Education Curriculum is not only feasible but also beneficial. It aligns with Islamic ethical frameworks and addresses pressing societal issues like bullying in educational contexts. By emphasizing empathy, kindness, and conflict resolution rooted in Islamic teachings, the curriculum can mitigate the negative impacts of bullying, fostering healthier social dynamics and improving overall student well-being. This research underscores the pivotal role of curriculum development in promoting a culture of respect and tolerance, fostering a harmonious learning environment conducive to academic success and emotional growth.

The purpose of this study: 1) Analyzing the management of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Village Fund -Based Education which has been implemented in Batang Regency, 2) Designing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) Management of Village Fund -Based Education which is ideal and in accordance with regulations in Batang Regency, 3) found the validity of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) management model of education developed in villages in Batang Regency, 4) Analyzing the effectiveness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) education management model developed in Batang Regency. The method used in this research is the R & D (Research and Development) approach. Three stages of Management development were developed: (1) Study guides, (2) development, and (3) development validation/testing stage. Abstract

Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah merupakan Sekolah Indonesia Luar Negeri yang berada di Arab Saudi. Sekolah Indonesia menyediakan jenjang pendidikan dari Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) hingga Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dengan jumlah siswa keseluruhan 1150 siswa. SMA adalah jenjang pendidikan menengah yang dirancang untuk menyiapkan peserta didik melanjutkan ke pendidikan tinggi. Namun pada kenyataannya tidak semua lulusan SMA melanjutkan ke pendidikan tinggi, dan tidak memiliki keterampilan yang memadai untuk menghadapi tantangan hidup di masyarakat. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan kewirausahaan. Peningkatan Kemampuan Dasar Kewirausahaan pada Siswa SMA perlu ditingkatkan, termasuk pada siswa SMA di Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah, Arab Saudi. Pengabdian ini memberikan solusi komprehensif dengan memberikan workshop Peningkatan Kemampuan Dasar Kewirausahaan pada Siswa di Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah, Arab Saudi. Peserta pengabdian Siswa Sekolah Indonesia Jedah, Arab Saudi mendapatkan wawasan, pengetahun, pemahaman, literasi dan kompetensi dasar-dasar kewirausahaan yang memadai seperti yang diharapkan dalam program kewirausahaan sekolah. Kesesuaian materi pengabdian dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan sekolah, terlihat dari antusiasme peserta kegiatan dalam menyimak, mengajukan pertanyaan dan diskusi yang intens dengan Tim Pengabdian selama kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung sampai akhir. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui workshop ”Peningkatan Kemampuan Dasar Wirausaha Pada Siswa Di Sekolah Indonesia Jeddah, Arab Saudi” berhasil dalam hal mencapai tujuan: 1) Mengembangkan Semangat dan Jiwa Kewirausahaan Siswa; 2) Meningkatkan Literasi, Kompetensi, Kreativitas dan Inovasi Siswa Berwirausaha; 3) Mendorong Inisiatif Pengembangan Kewirausahaan Secara Islami dalam Meneladani Kewirausahaan Rasulullah SAW dan para Sahabat.

Abstract

Pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya SDG 4 tentang pendidikan berkualitas, menuntut transformasi sistem pendidikan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi yang inklusif dan berkeadilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan bentuk integrasi teknologi pendidikan yang mendukung SDG 4 di negara-negara berkembang, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan, peluang implementasi, dan kesenjangan riset yang masih tersisa. Metode yang digunakan adalah scoping review berbasis pedoman PRISMA-ScR, dengan penelusuran artikel ilmiah dan laporan kebijakan pada periode 2015–2024. Dari 362 dokumen awal, sebanyak 54 publikasi yang seluruhnya berfokus pada negara berkembang di Asia, Afrika, Amerika Latin, dan kawasan lain memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data dianalisis secara tematik dan divisualisasikan dalam evidence gap map untuk memetakan hubungan antara jenis teknologi dan empat dimensi SDG 4: akses, kualitas, kesetaraan, dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa teknologi seperti e-learning, learning management system (LMS), platform pembelajaran daring, dan Open Educational Resources (OER) berperan signifikan dalam memperluas akses dan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, namun implementasinya masih terkendala oleh kesenjangan infrastruktur, kapasitas guru, dan kebijakan yang belum konsisten. Analisis evidence gap map mengungkap bahwa masih terdapat kekosongan bukti pada kombinasi tertentu, misalnya pemanfaatan teknologi cerdas (AI, analitik pembelajaran) untuk mendorong kesetaraan dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya strategi nasional yang mengintegrasikan kebijakan pendidikan digital dengan agenda SDG 4 di negara berkembang, sekaligus membuka ruang penelitian lanjutan untuk mengisi kesenjangan bukti yang teridentifikasi. Secara ilmiah, penelitian ini memperkaya literatur tentang transformasi digital pendidikan, sedangkan secara praktis memberikan dasar kebijakan bagi pengambil keputusan dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan di era SDGs.

Abstract

Buya Hamka’s Sufi thought revitalizes modern Islamic education in Indonesia by promoting “active Sufism”—a spirituality deeply rooted in ethical values and social responsibility. His approach transcends mere intellectual learning, fostering holistic character development that balances intellect, emotion, and spirituality. This framework addresses contemporary moral challenges, making Hamka’s Sufism highly relevant for shaping well-rounded, socially engaged Muslim individuals today. This study aims to analyze Hamka’s Sufi thought and its relevance to Islamic education in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative approach in the form of a literature study, the research focuses on Hamka’s major writings. Data were analyzed through thematic identification, categorization of key dimensions, and synthesis of findings, with validation ensured through source triangulation. The results reveal that This study explores Buya Hamka’s concept of Sufism and its relevance to Islamic education in Indonesia. Hamka integrates faith, moral, and spiritual education into a holistic framework that addresses contemporary challenges faced by Muslim communities. His approach emphasizes nurturing strong faith (iman) through spiritual practices like dhikr and tafakkur, fostering moral character based on divine ethics, and cultivating spiritual consciousness (taqwa) for inner transformation. Central to Hamka’s philosophy is the dual goal of achieving happiness in both worldly and spiritual realms, promoting a balanced life that combines ethical responsibility with practical engagement. This research highlights Hamka’s educational vision as a dynamic model that unites intellectual growth with spiritual and moral development. The study’s novelty lies in framing Hamka’s Sufism as a contextually relevant pedagogy, capable of guiding holistic human development in modern Islamic education in Indonesia, thereby addressing gaps between tradition and contemporary educational needs.

Abstract

Pelatihan Seni dan Budaya Tradisi Jawa Timuran sebagai Penguat Identitas dan Promosi Budaya Indonesia di Malaysia bertujuan memperkenalkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal Indonesia, khususnya warisan musik etnis Banyuwangian, kepada komunitas akademik di luar negeri. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia, dengan melibatkan 23 mahasiswa sebagai peserta aktif yang terdiri atas 6 pemain biola, 10 vokalis, dan 7 pemain terbang hadrah. Fokus utama pelatihan adalah praktik musikal pada lagu tradisional Padhang Bulan, yang dipilih karena representatif terhadap estetika dan nilai-nilai filosofis seni Banyuwangi. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif, kegiatan ini tidak hanya mentransfer keterampilan teknis memainkan instrumen dan vokal, tetapi juga menanamkan pemahaman akan makna budaya di balik komposisi musik tersebut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan apresiasi peserta terhadap keragaman budaya Indonesia serta penguatan identitas budaya melalui diplomasi seni. Pelatihan ini menjadi salah satu bentuk implementasi diplomasi budaya berbasis pengabdian masyarakat yang berpotensi mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya pada poin 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas) dan 16 (Masyarakat Damai, Adil, dan Inklusif).

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the merdeka curriculum in Islamic education at SD Muhammadiyah 21 Surabaya within the context of Indonesia’s ongoing educational reform. The research aims to evaluate both instructional and non-instructional impacts of the curriculum on students’ holistic development. The study was conducted in response to limitations of previous evaluations that relied heavily on goal-oriented models and tended to overlook unintended learning outcomes, particularly in moral and spiritual domains. A qualitative evaluative approach employing a Goal-Free Evaluation (GFE) model was used to identify actual outcomes experienced by students without reference to predefined curriculum objectives. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom and school-wide observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the merdeka curriculum fosters increased learning engagement, deeper religious understanding, and enhanced ethical reasoning at the instructional level. Additionally, significant non-instructional impacts emerged, including character formation, spiritual awareness, discipline, and social competence, largely shaped by school culture, religious habituation, and co-curricular activities.
