Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara nilai dan gaya kepemimpinan dengan manajemen pendidikan, mengingat pengaruh besar kepemimpinan terhadap budaya sekolah, motivasi guru, serta prestasi siswa. Kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam pendidikan dapat membantu membangun budaya positif di sekolah serta mendorong pencapaian akademis dengan cara yang selaras dengan visi organisasi. Artikel ini membahas empat gaya kepemimpinan utama yang berkontribusi secara unik: kepemimpinan transformasionalis, melayani, instruksional, dan distribusi. Kepemimpinan transformasionalis menginspirasi guru dan siswa untuk mencapai tujuan bersama; kepemimpinan melayani memfokuskan perhatian pada kesejahteraan dan pengembangan anggota tim; kepemimpinan instruksional menetapkan arah akademis yang jelas dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas pengajaran; dan kepemimpinan distribusi mendorong keterlibatan kolektif dalam pengambilan keputusan sekolah. Melalui tinjauan teori ini, penelitian mendalami efektivitas berbagai gaya kepemimpinan dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang harmonis dan produktif, mendukung kolaborasi, serta memperkuat kinerja akademis dan kesehatan organisasi. Dengan pendekatan yang menyeluruh, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai strategi kepemimpinan yang mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan guru dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Waktu dan tempat penelitian di SD Negeri 49 Manado pada bulan Januari – Maret 2023. Data dan sumber data penelitian yaitu sumber primer dan sumber sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokemntasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, maka peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa perencanaan layanan supervisi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di era society 5.0 melibatkan beberapa langkah, seperti menentukan tujuan dan fokus supervisi, menyusun jadwal dan waktu pelaksanaan, merancang format observasi, dan berkomunikasi dengan guru-guru. Melalui perencanaan yang terstruktur, kepala sekolah dapat memastikan bahwa kekurangan yang ditemukan dalam supervisi akan diperbaiki, sementara kelebihan yang ada akan dipertahankan. Perencanaan yang matang dan tepat serta kolaboratif, layanan supervisi kepala sekolah dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di era Society 5.0. Pelaksanaan program layanan supervisi kepala sekolah di era Society 5.0 menjadi salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Melalui supervisi yang dilakukan secara terencana, guru dapat terus mengembangkan diri, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, dan menghadapi tantangan yang muncul di era yang terus berkembang. Supervisi kepala sekolah menjadi sarana penting dalam memastikan bahwa guru dapat beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman dan memberikan pelayanan yang berkualitas kepada peserta didik di era Society 5.0. Evaluasi layanan supervisi kepala sekolah menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui evaluasi yang sistematis dan bimbingan yang tepat, guru dapat terus mengembangkan kompetensinya, menciptakan pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa, dan menghadapi tantangan pendidikan yang semakin kompleks. Kata Kunci: Layanan Supervisi, Kinerja Guru, Era Society 5.0.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the higher education environment demands adaptive and responsive information technology governance (IT Governance). Agile IT Governance is a relevant approach to improving university information technology systems' flexibility, effectiveness, and sustainability. This study explores the implementation strategy of Agile IT Governance on application factors at Manado State University. Using a qualitative approach with the SWOT analysis method and priority analysis using McFarlanGrid, this study identifies key factors that influence the adoption of Agile IT Governance, including organizational, technological, and policy aspects. The results of the study indicate that the success of implementing Agile IT Governance in universities depends on collaboration between stakeholders, digital infrastructure readiness, and an iterative approach to developing and managing applications. The implications of this study provide insight for higher education institutions in designing a more adaptive and sustainable digital transformation strategy at Manado State University.

Abstract

This qualitative case study aimed to investigate theaters' participation in the school decision making. The data were collected through investigation, participatory observation, and documentation study. The study revealed that both the headmaster and teachers are involved in making decisions. The principal should offer the opportunity for teachers to get involved in decision making and teachers should actively take the opportunity.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu sekolah merupakan kebijakan strategis dalam bidang pendidikan yang sedang diimplementasi pada berbagai jenjang dan bentuk satuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian mengenai kepemimpinan guru di sekolah di abad ke-21 sekarang ini telah menjadi perhatian dari para peneliti dan praktisi pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji lebih dalam kepemimpinan Guru pada SMP Negeri 2 Aifat di Kabupaten Maybrat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian 1). Kepemimpinan guru terdeskripsikan melalui kemampuan mempengaruhi guru terhadap teman individu dan kelompok guru, kepala sekolah, siswa, orang tua siswa, dan masyarakat, kemampuan mempengaruhi guru lahir dari pemberian tugas tambahan sebagai wali kelas, ketua dalam kegiatan di sekolah, dan tugas sebagai ketua yang dipercayakan dalam kegiatan kemasyarakatan di sekitar tempat tinggal; dan kepemimpinan guru tampak di dalam sekolah seperti memimpin teman guru, memimpin siswa di dalam kelas dan di luar sekolah seperti memimpin masyarakat di tempat tinggal. 2). Faktor yang menunjang kepemimpinan guru meliputi faktor kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang meliputi pemberian tugas tambahan sebagai wali kelas dan penugasan lain di sekolah; faktor sifat pribadi guru yang meliputi usia guru, kualifikasi pendidikan, dan pengalman mengajar; dan faktor hubungan yang meliputi hubungan guru dengan teman guru, kepala sekolah, siswa, orang tua siswa, dan masyarakat di tempat tinggal. 3). Faktor yang menghambat kepemimpinan guru meliputi faktor hubungan yang buruk dengan teman guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa; faktor kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang terlalu birokratis dan bersifat otoriter; faktor iklim sekolah yang tidak kondusif yang meliputi tidak ada rasa keintiman dengan guru-guru; dan faktor sifat pribadi guru yang meliputi merasa lebih tu atau senior, merasa lebih banyak pengalaman kerja, merasa angkuh, merasa lebih hebat, dan tidak mampu mengelola konflik yang terjadi dengan teman guru dan dengan kepala sekolah serta orang tua siswa. Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan Guru, SMP Negeri  2 Aifat di Kabupaten Maybrat.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement KIDOS (Knowledge Information Domain System) as an innovative solution within the educational management system in North Sulawesi Province. KIDOS is an advancement of the Education Management Information System (EMIS), utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and text mining technologies. Specifically, the system is designed to manage qualitative knowledge from school principals through analysis of best practice essays, mapped against the 14 Principles of Educational Management. KIDOS provides a digital platform for principals to document and share best practices and delivers automated feedback, sentiment analysis, and actionable managerial recommendations. The research methods included system design, functional testing, and evaluation using the IS Success Model and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results indicate that KIDOS operates effectively, is well-accepted by users, and provides strategic insights for educational policy-making. The system is expected to strengthen data- and knowledge-based management practices and serve as a model for AI-based EMIS development in other regions. KIDOS demonstrates the importance of adaptive and contextual digital transformation in improving the quality of education services.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and discover the aspects of civic education learning planning, the implementation of civic education learning, the evaluation of civic education learning, and the development of civic education learning management as a character builder of students. This research method is relevant using the type of qualitative approach and case study method with the type of multi-case study design. This study found several things. First, PKn learning planning as a builder of students' character is shown in three categories of teachers' managerial dimensions, namely the role dimension, the process dimension, and the outcome dimension. Second, the implementation of PKn learning as a Character Builder for students is shown in four categories of teachers' managerial dimensions, namely the role dimension, the process dimension, the delivery dimension, and the use dimension. Third, the evaluation of Pkn learning as a builder of students' character is shown in three categories of teachers' managerial dimensions, namely the role dimension, the process dimension, and the method dimension. Fourth, the development of PKn learning management as a builder of students' character is shown in three categories of teachers' managerial dimensions, namely the role dimension, the process dimension, and the support form dimension. This study recommends several things. First, the role of teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating PKn learning as a builder of student character found in this study is important to be disseminated or transferred to teachers in elementary schools who are not included in this study. Second, the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating PKn learning as a builder of student character found in this study is important to be transferred and used as a reference for elementary school teachers who were not included in this study. Third, PKn learning management as an efficient and effective builder of student character in elementary school requires development support from teachers, principals, the government, and technology.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the relationship individually and together between creativity, professional competence, pedagogical competence, and teacher achievement motivation with teachers' ability in managing science learning in elementary schools in Tomohon City. The research sample was Civil Servant/State Civil Apparatus teachers who were certified as professional teachers. The research method used was a survey and correlational design. Research data were collected by questionnaire and processed using simple and multiple correlation analysis techniques. The results of the study include teacher creativity having a positive and significant relationship with teachers' ability in managing science learning; teacher professional competence is positively and significantly related to teacher ability in managing science learning; teacher pedagogical competence is positively and significantly related to teacher ability in managing science learning; teacher achievement motivation is positively and significantly related to teacher ability in managing science learning; and creativity, professional competence, pedagogical competence, and teacher achievement motivation are positively and significantly related simultaneously to teacher ability in managing science learning. After discussing the research results, it was continued by drawing research conclusions and putting forward suggestions, including that this research can be developed by other researchers to test variables that function as mediator and moderator variables using the structural equation model (SEM).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the role of the Leading Teacher in improving learning transformation and identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Leading Teacher Program in South Sorong Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation in several schools implementing the program. The results of the study indicate that Leading Teachers have a strategic role in transforming learning through role models, increasing student motivation and competence, and strengthening learning communities in schools. Supporting factors for program implementation include transformative principal leadership and internal teacher motivation. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited facilities and infrastructure, difficult-to-access geographical conditions, and lack of support from several principals and fellow teachers. This study recommends strengthening local policies, improving educational facilities, and developing the capacity of principals as learning leaders in order to optimize the role of Leading Teachers in remote areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and supervision of inclusive educational learning for students with special needs at SMP Negeri 1 Tomohon, as well as to identify the obstacles and efforts to overcome them. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings show that inclusive learning planning still uses the regular curriculum and learning structure, without modification for students with special needs. Implementation has begun but is not yet optimal due to the absence of Special Education Teachers, limited facilities, and low teacher discipline. Supervision is carried out by the principal but remains limited due to a lack of specialized personnel. The main obstacles include the lack of professional teachers, unadapted curriculum, inadequate infrastructure, and inconsistent educator performance. Efforts to address these issues include recruiting trained staff, modifying the curriculum, and improving teacher discipline through supervision and policy enforcement. The study recommends strengthening planning based on assessment, encouraging teacher innovation, and improving school leadership and government support.
