Abstract

Kelompok intervensi mendapatkan tambahan hidroterapi rendam kaki air hangat bersuhu 37–40°C selama 15–20 menit setiap hari selama 7 hari, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya menerima perawatan rutin tanpa hidroterapi. Kata Kunci: Hidroterapi, Tekanan darah, HipertensiABSTRACTBackground: Hypertension is one of the non-communicable diseases that serves as a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. The management of hypertension can be carried out through both pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. Warm water foot soak hydrotherapy is a form of complementary therapy that may help reduce blood pressure through mechanisms of peripheral vasodilation and muscle relaxation. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of warm water foot soak hydrotherapy in reducing blood pressure among patients with stage I hypertension. Method: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest with control group approach. The sample consisted of 30 respondents with stage I hypertension selected through purposive sampling, comprising 15 respondents in the intervention group and 15 in the control group. The intervention group received additional warm water foot soak hydrotherapy at a temperature of 37–40°C for 15–20 minutes daily over seven days, while the control group received only routine care without hydrotherapy. Blood pressure was measured before and after the intervention using a digital sphygmomanometer. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann–Whitney tests. Results: There was a significant decrease in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the intervention group (p < 0.05), while no significant change was observed in the control group (p > 0.05). The comparison between the two groups indicated that hydrotherapy was significantly more effective than routine care. Conclusion: Warm water foot soak hydrotherapy is effective as a complementary therapy in reducing blood pressure among patients with stage I hypertension. This therapy can be applied as a safe, simple, and cost-effective non-pharmacological intervention, both in healthcare facilities and at home. Keywords: Hydrotherapy, Blood pressure, Hypertension.

Abstract

Background: This study focuses on evaluating university students’ ability to complete academic assignments accurately and on time. Timeliness in completing tasks may be influenced by both external and internal factors. Resilience, religious habituation, and technological utilization are among the variables that can shape individual behavior, particularly in the digital generation. Purpose: The aim of this research is to examine the extent to which resilience, the routine practice of congregational prayer, and the use of Artefact Intelligence (AI) affect students’ punctuality in completing academic assignments. Method: The research sample consisted of 100 postgraduate students from five study programs at Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, all in their second semester. Data were collected over a three-week period using a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5). Result: Findings indicate that resilience, the frequency of congregational prayer, and AI utilization collectively have a significant influence of 58.3% on assignment timeliness, while the remaining 31.7% is attributed to other factors not examined in this study. Conclusion: Further analysis shows that congregational prayer and AI usage each have significant effects, with p-values of 0.005 and 0.001 at the 5% confidence level, respectively, whereas resilience does not significantly impact timeliness. Implications: This lack of significance may be due to reduced perseverance among Generation Z students, many of whom lack strong motivation, spend considerable time in leisure, and have limited engagement in social environments

Abstract

Hospitals frequently encounter challenges in the BPJS Kesehatan claims process, such as diagnostic coding errors, data discrepancies, and incomplete medical record documentation. These issues result in claims delays, financial disruptions, and a decline in service quality. This study aims to design an electronic pocketbook of National Health Insurance (JKN) diagnosis codes as a guide for healthcare workers to expedite and simplify the claims process. The study was conducted at Soeharto Heerdjan Hospital from October to December 2024 using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model in three stages: analysis, design, and development. Six informants from the analysis and coding unit and the patient verification and assurance unit were involved as data sources. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and document reviews, followed by descriptive analysis. The results showed that the 34-page electronic pocketbook, designed in PDF format, contains diagnoses, ICD-10 codes, severity levels, and management procedures, with hyperlinks for easy information retrieval. The feasibility test showed a validity level of 95.8% for content and 91.6% for media. Therefore, this pocketbook is highly valid and suitable for use as a guide in the BPJS claims process, and can support work efficiency and improve the quality of hospital services.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Earnings Per Share (EPS), Return on Assets (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE) on stock prices of banking companies in the digital era listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression to analyze the financial data of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results indicate that individually, the Earnings Per Share (EPS) and Return On Equity (ROE) variables each have a significant impact on stock prices, while Return On Assets (ROA) has a positive but insignificant impact. On the other hand, all three variables collectively have a significant impact on stock prices. The Adjusted R-Square value of 0.482 indicates that Earnings Per Share (EPS), Return On Assets (ROA), and Return On Equity (ROE) account for approximately 48.2% of the variation in stock prices, while the remainder is influenced by other factors not covered in this study. Thus, it can be concluded that financial performance, as measured by profitability indicators such as Earnings Per Share (EPS) and Return On Equity (ROE), remains a crucial benchmark for investors when evaluating banking stocks, particularly in the context of increasing digitalization in the financial sector. This study is expected to serve as a reference for bank management, investors, and other researchers in undestanding
