Abstract

The research objective is to analyze learning theories that support the development of blended learning models with Facebook (MBL-fb). The research method uses library research. The results of the study can be seen that learning theories that support the development of blended learning models are cognitive learning theories, constructivism and Connectivism. Social cognitive suggests that there are three main factors: behavior, person / cognitive, and the environment that influence one's learning process. Information processing explains the thinking process of students in processing information, monitoring it, and developing strategies regarding the information. Personal constructivists state that students construct knowledge by informing, organizing, and reorganizing prior knowledge and information. Social constructivists explain that knowledge is built and constructed together. Constructivism, knowledge is distributed on a network of connections, and therefore learning consists of the ability to build and traverse the network.

Abstract

AbstrakKemajuan teknologi menuntut seorang pendidik untuk menguasai berbagai media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Pada penelitian ini media pembelajaran flowchart digambar dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Visio dimana biasanya flowchart digambar dengan bentuk sederhana di papan tulis. Belajar menggunakan bantuan teknologi dapat membantu baik pendidik dan peserta didik dalam proses belajar mengajar. Fokus penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran flowchart (bagan arus) berbasis Microsoft Visio pada mata pelajaran fikih kelas VIII yang valid. Jenis penelitian ini ialah pengembangan dengan metode Plomp, dimana ada empat tahapan yakni: (1) tahap penelitian pendahuluan (preliminary research); (2) tahap prototype (prototyping stage); (3) tahap penilaian (assessment stage); (4) tahap refleksi dan dokumentasi secara sistematis (systematic reflection and documentation). Namun pada penelitian ini tidak semua tahapan dilakukan, karena ada kendala serta keterbatasan yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa media pembelajaran flowchart berbasis Microsoft visio yang telah dihasilkan bersifat sangat valid dengan rata-rata 84,72% . Begitu pun penilaian pada item – item yang ada pada aspek penilaian atau standar penilaian yang diperoleh dari validator yaitu berkisar 75% - 91,68%. Seperti dalam aspek materi dengan nilai 81,68%, dalam aspek tampilan media dengan nilai 87,5% dan aspek prinsip media flowchart itu sendiri dengan nilai 86,11%. Selain itu juga, dari validasi kebahasaan diperoleh skor 83,33%, validasi isi dengan skor 81,25% dan terakhir validasi kontruks dengan skor 86,11%. Hal ini dapat di kategorikan valid – sangat valid, artinya media pembelajaran flowchart berbasis Microsoft visio ini layak dipakai atau digunakan dalam mata pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam terkhususnya fikih. AbstractHigh technology development requires a teacher to master various technology-based learning media. In this study, the flowchart learning media which is usually drawn in simple way on the blackboard, was drawn using Microsoft Visio application. Learning using technology assistance can help teachers and students in the teaching and learning process. The aim of this research was to produce a valid Microsoft Visio-based flowchart learning media for class VIII students in fiqh subject. The type of the research was research and development using Plomp method with four stages, namely: (1) preliminary research stage; (2) prototype stage; (3) production stage; and (4) systematic reflection and documentation stage. However, in this study not all stages were carried out because of some limitations. The result of this research described that the Microsoft Visio-based flowchart learning media was highly valid with an average of 84.72%. The judgment from validators was 75% - 91.68% for all items. The content aspect was 87.5%,  media layout aspect was 87.5%, and media principles aspect was 86.11%. In addition, validation of language gave score 83.33%, the content validity was 81.25% and construct validity was 86.11%. These can be categorized as valid - highly valid product. It means that the Microsoft Visio-based flowchart learning media is suitable for PAI learning (islamic learning) especially fiqh subject.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the obstacles of online learning during pandemic Covid-19. There have been pros and cons of online lecture during the pandemic due to lack of effectiveness of achieving education goals. However, education is expected to bring an improvement to students to be well-educated generation. To reach the goal, students must comprehend the materials given by lecturers. Yet, there are some problems that college students face during the process of online lecture. These problems became the background to conduct this research from which it can be a scientific work to give a contribution to analyze the problems specifically. This research was conducted by using qualitative method. The data were obtained by conducting interview which were analyzed and explained in the form of narration while maintaining the authenticity of the data. The result of this research revealed that limited internet access and lack of lecturers’ responsibilities became the obstacles for college students during online lecture. The students expected lecturers and campus staff to understand their situations. They hoped that the lecturers gave relevant deadline for submitting the assignments, focused on making the students understand the materials, and controlled/accompanied the flow of discussion

Abstract

The success or failures of educational institutions in the implementation of character education in boarding schools or madrasah is determined by its leaders.  The school principal as a leader and educator should be a good model to all teachers and learners in the school.  In other words,  he or she will create a healthy school life, conducive and supportive school performance. There are seven principal’s roles in implementing character building the school. He or she should has a clear vision, rely on more collaborative approach,  responsive and proactive in responding to what is happening outside of school, be consistent in enforcing the rules, be active, give  many social rewards, and create a variety of rides or activities that can develop pro-social skills and devotion of students.

Abstract

Based on preliminary observation and research finding in MAN in Tanah Datar, it was found that madrasah which have a good accreditation still have problems concerning with aspects of school management. The purposes of this research were to analyze teachers’ perception toward managerial competence of the madrasah principals in the aspects of the madrasah activities planning, organizing, leadership, actuating, and controlling. The methodology used in this research was mixed method by using the concurrent embedded model. Quantitative data was gotten from teachers of MAN in Tanah Datar while for the qualitative data was gotten from the school principals, vice school principals as well as teachers. Based on the research finding, it was found that in the madrasah activities planning was 82.11%; activities organizing was 79.50%; activities leading was 79.92%; activities actuating was 78.53%; and activities controlling was 81 %. In general, the competence of the madrasah principals of MAN in Tanah Datar was good in all aspect.

Abstract

Sosiologi merupakan ilmu yang erat kaitannya dengan mmanusia, proses hubungan manusia serta budayanya. Sejak pandemic covid-19, pembelajaran sosiologi mengalami ruang gerak yang sempit. Guru selaku pendidik perlu mendesain pembelajaran sedemikian rupa sehingga pembelajaran tetap dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Desain pembelajaran merupakan scenario yang tersusun secara sistematis sesuai dengan alur yang harus diikuti. Dalam mendesain pembelajaran guru perlu memperhatikan model dan media yang tepat. Model ASSURE merupakan model pembelajaran yang simple, logis dan inovatif. Dalam penerapannya guru perlu mengikuti langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1) analisis peserta didik, 2) penetapan tujuan, 3) memilih metode, media dan bahan ajar, 4) menggunakan metode, media dan bahan ajar, 5) melibatkan peserta didik, dan 5) melakukan evaluasi dan revisi. Selain model, juga perlu memperhatikan media pembelajaran yang tepat. Media infografis merupakan media visual dengan tampilan teks dan gambar yang dapat membantu mempermudah peserta didik dalam memahami materi, mengingat dan mengambil keputusan. Kolaborasi model ASSURE dan media infografis cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran sosiologi saat pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the effect of organizational climate on teacher performance, organizational culture on teacher performance and assess the effect of organizational climate and organizational culture together on the teacher performance in SMA Negeri 1 Pariangan. The sample of the study involved 48 teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Pariangan by using total sampling technique. The data were collected by using questionnaire. The findings revealed that (1) Organizational climate significantly influence the performance of teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Pariangan. (2) Organizational culture significant effect on the performance of teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Pariangan. (3) Organizational climates and organizational culture together significant effect on the performance of teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Pariangan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Untuk memahami materi Biologi tidak cukup dengan memahami materi secara teoritis saja, akan tetapi untuk memahami lebih jauh tentang ilmu Biologi haruslah diiringi dengan pemahaman yang didapatkan dari kegiatan praktik ataupun pengamatan objek secara lansung, karena sangat efektif dalam membantu pencapaian ranah pengetahuan secara keseluruhan yaitu menerapkan teori yang sudah dipelajari, merencanakan kegiatan secara mandiri (ranah afektif) dan menggunakan  instrumen didalam kegiatan praktik (ranah psikomotor). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana sebuah pembelajaran Biologi yang didesain berorientasi pada kegiatan jelajah alam sekitar sebagai sarana praktik dan sumber belajar dapat menumbuhkan kepedulian peserta didik terhadap lingkungannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi Pustaka dari berbagai sumber literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sekitar sebagai sumber belajar dapat membantu memperkuat pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi Biologi dan semakin menambah kepedulian peserta didik terhadap lingkungannya.Abstract: To understand Biology material, it is not enough to understand the material theoretically, but to understand more about Biology it must be accompanied by understanding obtained from practical activities or direct observation of objects, because it is very effective in helping to achieve the overall realm of knowledge, namely applying theory. what has been learned, planning activities independently (affective domain) and using instruments in practical activities (psychomotor domain). This study aims to see how a biology lesson designed to be oriented towards exploring the surrounding nature as a practical means and learning resource can foster students' awareness of their environment. This research uses the library study method from various literature sources. The results showed that the use of the natural environment as a learning resource can help strengthen students' understanding of Biology material and increase students' awareness of their environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the training design of the ADDIE model in improving the performance of library employees. Therefore, it is necessary to provide training to librarians as an effort to equip librarians to be proficient and understand the main tasks and functions that will be carried out, especially in carrying out excellent service in the library. This research uses a library research approach. The data sources in this research consist of primary data sources obtained from journals, and secondary data sources obtained from books related to the Addie model librarian training design in improving the performance of library employees. The data collection techniques used in this study are in the form of documentation. The results of the study stated that the learning design of the ADDIE model can improve the performance of library employees by using several steps, including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The performance of library employees is said to increase when they have loyalty to work, high discipline, and have high creativity in carrying out excellent service in the library. Able to cooperate and actively participate in the university library where they serve.

Abstract

Peningkatan Kinerja Guru Melalui Program Supervisi diselenggarakan karena masih banyak guru yang tidak merencanakan pembelajaran dengan menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik dan menyenangkan, tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi (masih metode ceramah) dan pembelajaran menjadi membosankan. Pembelajaran yang tidak efektif, karena guru hanya menyampaikan materi tanpa adanya interaksi yang aktif dari siswa sehingga pembelajaran monoton. Metode ceramah tidak efektif, serta masih ada k guru yang belum menggunakan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran, disamping itu guru juga kurang menghargai siswa, sehingga tidak ada timbal balik antara guru dan siswa. Oleh karena itu, guru yang berkualitas sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas siswa. Motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Motivasi intrinsik adalah motivasi, variabel atau hal-hal yang berasal dari dalam, sedangkan motivasi ekstrinsik berasal dari luar. Tujuan penulisan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru seperti: kompetensi guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran dengan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik dan menyenangkan, meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran, meningkatkan kemampuan melakukan pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien. meningkatkan kemampuan guru menggunakan teknologi dengan berbagai jenis aplikasi, meningkatkan kompetensi evaluasi guru (evaluator) Kata kunci: supervisi, kinerja guru.
