Abstract

The success of a school principal is greatly influenced by his effectiveness in leading a school. An effective leader is a leader who is able to mobilize and motivate others to do what they want in order to achieve common goals. The school principal in leading an educational institution must be based on the principles of education management and the principles exemplified by the prophet Muhammad SAW. The purpose of this research is to see the implementation of effective leadership principles in schools. The research method used is library research. The results of this study indicate that to produce a superior school management requires an effective leader who applies the principles of leadership of the prophet Muhammad SAW

Abstract

The values of Pancasila in the project include faith, diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity, with the school principal playing an essential role in guiding and managing the learning process. This study focuses on the principal's key role in planning and implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at State Senior High School 1 Sawahlunto. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. Data processing involved condensation, presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure accuracy and reliability of the information, source triangulation was conducted. The findings indicate that the planning phase includes forming a facilitator team, identifying school readiness, organizing dimensions, themes, and time allocation for the Pancasila student profile strengthening project, creating project modules, and designing reporting strategies. In the implementation phase, each class follows the learning activities based on the assigned themes and projects, with the principal collaborating with the community, local organizations, and industries to support learning. This activity positively impacts the development of students' character, aligned with Pancasila values.

Abstract

In today's world. of learning, one of the factors that determines how to improve the quality of learning is how an institution manages the programming of existing tools and infrastructure. The existing tools and infrastructure can help teaching participants feel comfortable in the way they practice guiding. The research conducted uses a qualitative approach, where this research defines how the management of programming of facilities and infrastructure at State Lower School 6 Padang Sibusuk, Kupitan District, Sijunjung Regency, collects information through, question and answer, selection, programming management of existing tools and infrastructure including programming stages. the implementation and maintenance of records and maintenance has been going well by the school, the obstacles experienced by the lack of supporting budget for the provision of tools and infrastructure, on the other hand, make dealing with existing cases, the school principal always coordinates with the factors those given responsibility, request support from the school committee and also all parents of students who intend to overcome the problems to achieve the planned goals.

Abstract

The student program, which includes extracurricular activities, student organizations, and social activities, plays an important role in supporting the character development of students. This research aims to analyze the influence of student participation in extracurricular programs on character development at SMPN Sijunjung. This study employs a quantitative method with a survey approach and cross-sectional design. The research sample consists of 200 students randomly selected from several middle schools in Sijunjung. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire to measure students' perceptions of their participation in student programs and character development. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical tests, specifically Pearson correlation, using SPSS software. The research results indicate that students' participation in student programs is positively and significantly related to their character development, with a Pearson correlation value of r = 0.65. Sports extracurricular programs have the strongest influence on character development, followed by student organizations. More frequent participation in student activities is also associated with a higher level of character development. This research suggests the need for an improvement in the quality of student programs and stronger support from teachers, parents, and school authorities to maximize the positive impact on students' character

Abstract

This research aims to explain how to develop educational resources especially for teachers at SD IT Al-Ihsan Lubuk Tarok, Sijunjung Regency. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection is carried out through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis starts from an effort to find meaning starting with data collection, then data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of the research carried out planning for the selection or recruitment of teaching staff, planning for developing educational resources to improve the quality of educators, improving the quality of educational organizations, determining the time for implementing the planning activities, evaluating teaching staff, supervision, providing compensation, as well as obstacles and obstacles encountered when strategically planning the development of teaching resources. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the strategic plan for developing teaching resources at SD IT Al-Ihsan Lubuk Tarok has been running properly. However, there are still areas that need to be improved in terms of development plans for evaluation of programs that have been planned by schools and foundations

Abstract

Cooperation in the field of education is a form of multi-level cooperation between various parties involved in the world of education, including government, educational institutions, industry, and society. The main objective of this cooperation is to improve the quality and relevance of education throughout the region. The results of this study are the development plan for cooperation between schools and related agencies in Dharmasraya including: (1) Health: Sitiung Health Center through UKS to improve student health (2) Public Services: Dharmasraya Police through the "Hallo Pak Kapolres" program to improve interaction with the community (3) Environment: Dharmasraya Regency DLH to work together to clean the environment. (4) Literacy: Dharmasraya Regional Library and schools work together to add to the collection and foster a love of reading. The development plan for cooperation between schools and Sitiung Health Center, Dharmasraya Police, and Dharmasraya Regional Library can provide great benefits in increasing awareness of health, school environmental safety, and literacy among students.

Abstract

Educational leadership is a way that is inherent in a leader in carrying out his duties through the people he leads in educational institutions. Educational institutions in Indonesia consist of state educational institutions and private educational institutions. Leadership in private educational institutions, both schools and universities, is essentially obtained through stages that have been determined by government regulations and adapted to the policies or regulations of private institutions without reducing what has been stipulated in government regulations to serve as guidelines. This research aims to provide an overview of educational leadership in private educational institutions regarding how to obtain it and their responsibilities in leading. The research method used is a library research by exploring information through literature regarding situational leadership in private educational institutions. Situational leadership style is an approach to leadership that encourages leaders to understand their behavior, the behavior of subordinates, and the situation before using a particular leadership style.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic planning of Islamic educational leadership in optimizing the education budget at SDN 20 Timbulun. In the midst of limited allocated education budget, the principal and stakeholders have a crucial role in managing resources in order to support the achievement of educational goals. A leadership approach based on Islamic values ​​is expected to guide fair, transparent, and efficient decision-making. This study uses a qualitative method with in-depth interviews and observations of principals, teachers, and other related parties. The results of the study indicate that strategic planning that integrates Islamic leadership principles, such as deliberation, justice, and trustworthiness, can increase the effectiveness of budget management. Optimal budget utilization is achieved through mapping priority needs, strict supervision of budget use, and strong collaboration between stakeholders. This study recommends the importance of increasing the leadership capacity of principals in the aspects of planning and managing budgets based on Islamic values ​​to achieve quality education.

Abstract

Transformational leadership in Islamic value-based educational institutions, such as Rumah Tahfidz Qur'an (RTQ), faces challenges in integrating traditional practices with modern innovations to improve academic quality. This study explores the effectiveness of transformational leadership in RTQ Surau Lakuak, focusing on the strategic use of social media. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research involves in-depth interviews and document analysis, guided by Kouzes and Posner's (2017) Leadership Challenge framework, which includes five core dimensions: Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart. The findings indicate that leaders at RTQ Surau Lakuak effectively utilize social media to articulate their vision, enhance transparency, and foster community engagement. Key initiatives, such as digital donation campaigns, symbolic recognition, and community empowerment programs, have strengthened collaboration and ensured the sustainability of Qur'anic education programs. These practices are grounded in Islamic principles like ta'awun (cooperation) and deliberation, providing an adaptable leadership model for contemporary Islamic education. The study highlights the potential of applying the Leadership Challenge framework to address digital-era challenges, offering a replicable and innovative strategy for Islamic educational institutions in diverse contexts.

Abstract

Parenting programs in Kindergarten (TK) have a very important role in supporting children's development, both socially, emotionally and academically. This research aims to design an effective parenting program strategy at the Pembina Lintau Buo State Kindergarten. Through a qualitative approach, this research involves in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects in this research involved school principals, teachers and parents to gain a comprehensive perspective regarding parents' needs and expectations for their children's education. The research results show that planning and implementing a good parenting program can have a positive impact on parents and children, namely improving the quality of students' understanding in learning by involving parents' participation through parenting learning programs. The parenting programs implemented are: Parent gatherings, elementary classes, seminars on early childhood education, training/workshops, and home visits. Strategic planning in managing early childhood education can be carried out through steps such as identifying needs and problems, environmental studies, determining vision and mission, and preparing programs.
