Abstract

Digital technology is key to increasing donor intentions to contribute to Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS). This study identified the factors influencing and dominating donors in making digital payments for ZIS. Combining UTAUT 2 and the initial trust model, this study analyzed data from an online survey involving 103 donors from various provinces in Indonesia. The study includes donors who have paid or intend to pay the ZIS digitally. The results of the analysis using the partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) indicated that performance expectancy had no significant effect on initial trust and behavioral intention. Likewise, facilitating conditions did not significantly affect initial trust. On the other hand, hedonic motivation positively and significantly affects initial trust and behavioral intention, while initial trust affects behavioral intention. This study suggests that zakat institutions must ensure that their systems offer user satisfaction, initial trust, and facilitating conditions, such as reliable networks and security.

Methods This study is a qualitative descriptive study that describes phenomena in the field without treatment. The object of this research is the students of grade V MIN 6 Kota Padang. Sources of data obtained from teachers and students of class V. In addition, learning tools are used when learning is implemented.   The primary data collection techniques are observation, documentation, and interviews as research support techniques. The results showed that contextual thematic learning planning at MIN 6 Kota Padang was good enough and run as it should be. Implementing contextually thematic learning at MIN 6 Kota Padang is still not by the planning. The practice of a contextual approach to thematic learning is still less than optimal because teachers are less well-understood when applying a contextual-based thematic approach. Finally, the thematic learning evaluation is implemented using the assessment standards. Learning evaluation includes assessing student learning outcomes, which include aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skills.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the problems in the development of the Pancasila education curriculum and the implementation of Pancasila education based on the 2013 Curriculum and the Independent Curriculum. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results of the study indicate that the development of the Pancasila education curriculum raises public suspicion of the curriculum development process because of the large budget, is carried out without considering the results of the curriculum evaluation, and does not involve experts, academics, stakeholders, and representatives from the teacher professional association. Pancasila education based on the 2013 Curriculum has not been implemented optimally due to the availability of learning resources that are still minimal, limited time allocation, and the reduction of Core Competencies to Basic Competencies that are still balanced between aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skills. The implementation of Pancasila education based on the Independent Curriculum experiences obstacles due to the absence of limitations regarding the concept of independent learning, the unpreparedness of facilities and infrastructure, and the unclear division of learning achievements in aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skills.

In Islamic educational institutions, Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a critical role not only in supporting organizational sustainability but also in nurturing a workforce that aligns with Islamic values. HRM in this context goes beyond traditional personnel management, aiming to recruit, develop, and evaluate educators and staff who exemplify Islamic morals and ethics. By strategically planning, managing, and supervising human resources, Islamic institutions can create an environment that fosters moral integrity, religious attitudes, and a commitment to lifelong learning. This article explores foundational HRM concepts, with a focus on their application in Islamic education to enhance character formation, strengthen religious values, and support academic excellence

Abstract

Social media was created to enable people to communicate with each other without the limitations of distance, place, or time. However, irresponsible use, especially among teenagers under the age of 17, can lead to negative effects such as online harassment. Using social cognitive theory, this research aims to investigate the relationship between the intensity of social media use and cyberbullying behavior among students of SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang. Quantitative methods were used; social media was used as the independent variable and cyberbullying behavior as the dependent variable. Data were collected using the simple random sampling technique through questionnaires distributed to 38 students. A significant relationship between the two variables was found through data analysis using the product moment correlation test (r = 0.754; p 0.05). The research results indicate that the frequency of social media use leads to more cyberbullying behavior due to the disinhibition effect, which gives people the freedom to express their aggression online. In the real world, this research emphasizes the importance of teaching students digital literacy; it is crucial for parents and educators to monitor their social media usage; and to create comprehensive policies to prevent cyberbullying.

Abstract

Moderate religiosity in Indonesia is not widely accepted, owing to the existence of factors such as religious liberalization and secularization. The purpose of this study is to identify the level of multilingual Islamic education in Indonesia using the moderation indicator recommended by the Ministry of Religion. This study employs a philosophical normative approach. The theory of analysis used is Azyumardi Azra's multicultural Islamic education. The study's findings reveal a dimension of multicultural Islamic education in Indonesia's three moderate indicators. To begin, the value of education is based on indicators of tolerance in the development of Islamic knowledge and social skills that reflect the realities of human life. Second, the value of education is based on the commitment to learning about Islam and its social aspects, which promotes peace and stability in daily life. Third, humanism in education is reflected in anti-radicalization indicators in the social and cultural development of Islam, which combines with humanism. Also, the nilai pendidikan wasatiyah in the indicator of local accommodations with regard to local culture in fostering social and cultural adherence to Islam is moderate enough to embrace local traditions while remaining non-complementary to Islamic education. The implications of this research theory state that there is relevance of universal values in Indonesian moderation indicators with various multicultural Islamic education values.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the quality of management at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School in Ulujami has improved through the implementation of collective leadership. The research begins by observing Darunnajah as a community-based pesantren established in Jakarta, Indonesia. Today, Darunnajah students have achieved both national and international recognition in the fields of religious studies, applied sciences, and vocational skills. The study then focuses on the leadership’s commitment to enhancing the quality management of the pesantren from the perspective of Edward Sallis's Total Quality Management (TQM), particularly in relation to the three main educational components: students, educators, and educational staff. This research employs a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through two methods. First, primary data were obtained through initial and follow-up field observations, as well as structured and unstructured interviews. Second, secondary data were collected from documents, alumni input, seminars, relevant literature, electronic media, and academic materials. The validity of the data was ensured through prolonged engagement in the field and triangulation. The results of the study indicate that collective leadership at Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School has had a positive impact on various aspects. The teaching and learning process has improved through better educator qualifications, satisfactory staff performance, and well-maintained facilities and infrastructure, which has also contributed to an increase in student enrollment. Internally, institutional development is reflected in the establishment of laboratories, canteens and cooperatives, sports facilities, and enhanced student skills. Externally, the pesantren has strengthened cooperation with local governments and companies, served as a role model for other Islamic boarding schools, and attracted attention from researchers and foreign education experts
