Abstract

Jember is surrounded and limited by highlands such as Mount Argopura, Mount Ijen, Mount Argopura, and the southern karst mountains. In 2015-2022, the Jember area flooded during the rainy season and dried during the dry season. Changes in land cover that do not follow the science of soil preservation will cause disasters, including landslides and erosion. The purpose of this study is to assess the risk of landslides on the slopes of Mount Argopura through the Geographic Information System. The study used a field survey method that was divided into several stages, including making a working map, conducting a field survey, and analyzing the data in the laboratory. The sensitivity analysis of the landslide level used as the basis for the assessment used the relationship between the parameters of soil erodibility, soil erosion, slope and soil conservation, and slope length. The sensitivity of the level of landslide risk on Mount Argopura is divided into five classes, from very light to very heavy. The very light category covers 4.92% of the total area with erosion of 0.47 t/ha/year. The very heavy class covers 39.70% of the total area, with 1,360.79 t/ha/year erosion.

Abstract

Soil functions as a medium for plant growth, a reservoir of air and nutrients, and a habitat for various soil organisms. The effectiveness of these functions depends largely on the properties of the soil, which are generally classified into physical, chemical, and biological properties. Among other things, the physical properties of the soil play an important role in regulating soil processes related to air movement, aeration, root penetration, and the availability of nutrients for plants. This research aims to characterize the physical properties of soil based on selected parameters at the Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jember. Soil samples were collected and analyzed at the Soil Physics and Conservation Laboratory from September to November 2025. Parameters observed included soil water content, bulk density, particle density, porosity and soil texture using standard laboratory methods. The research results showed that the average soil water content was 63.8%. The bulk density ranged from 0.84 to 0.94 g/cm³ with an average of 0.88 g/cm³. Particle density ranged from 2.24 to 2.46 g/cm³ with an average of 2.35 g/cm³. The average porosity was 62.5%, indicating a high proportion of pore space that supports air retention and aeration. Soil texture analysis shows that the soil is dominated by clay and clay loam textures, which contribute to the high air holding capacity due to the presence of micropores

Abstract

The nutritional status of children in Indonesia needs serious attention because of the significant prevalence of malnutrition, stunting, and wasting in several regions, including Situbondo Regency. Bugeman Village, Kendit District, has a score of 37.21 for clean water and sanitation, and 33.33 for hunger-free. This service aimed to educate school children about the importance of sanitation in an effort to improve nutritional status. The target of this activity was elementary school students in grades 5 and 6 of SDN 1 Bugeman, Situbondo Regency. The pre-test and post-test results of 43 elementary school students who had participated in the socialization showed an increase of 40.466 points. This significant change was expected to have a positive impact on students understanding of the importance of sanitation and balanced nutrition. The knowledge provided would be more meaningful if it is supported by concrete steps in improving sanitation, nutrition education, and developing health facilities.

Abstract

There is a universal awareness on the importance of productivity in improving national welfare. The productivity is an essential factor in maintaining and developing the success of an organization. Thus, that a company can achieve its goals one of which to improve the work productivity, then it is an obligation for the leaders to provide motivation for the employees in the form of compensation.This research is willing to achieve the goals namely (1) to determine the effects of salary, intensive, facility, position promotion and work environment on the work performance of contract employees in public organization at Banjarmasin city either simultaneously or partially (2) to determine the most influential factors on the work performance of contract employees in public organization at Banjarmasin city.In this research, the population is all of the employees in production section contract public organization at Banjarmasin city. There are 130 employees as the research samples. The sample collection technique is by purposive sampling technique. The data analysis tools used in this research are validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple regression, determination coefficient and hypothesis testing.Results of the research are (1) There are effects of salary on the employee work performance (2) There are effects of incentive on the employee work performance (4) There are effects of work environment on the employee work performance (5) There are significant effects of salary (X1), incentive (X2) allowances (X3), facility (X4), position promotion (X5) and work environment (X6) simultaneously on the work performance (Y). The salary has the dominant effects on the work performance namely by b1=0,248.

Abstract

This research about are quite similar reasons for debtors in selecting bank to the reasons in keeping funds. It is not merely concerning interest rate and facility, service is also an important factor. This factor is greatly important regarding business activity between one bank and others can be said to be the same. The different thing is a matter of services.This research is located in Kalsel Syariah Bank Banjarmasin Branch. This research aims to (1) determine and analyze the level of conformity of interest level of service elements according to customers on the performance that has been conducted by Kalsel Syariah Bank Banjarmasin Branch (2) to determine customers’ satisfaction on the services that have been given so that it can assist the Kalsel Syariah Bank performance to achieve better quality improvement through determination of main priority.The samples are 100 customers of Kalsel Syariah Bank Banjarmasin Branch as the respondents using accidental sampling technique, the analysis used is customers’ Importance-Performance analysis. This analysis uses Cartesians Diagram divided into four quadrants. In this research, there are some main considerations by Kalsel Syariah Bank Banjarmasin Branch namely (a) Teller attention to the customers, employee willingness to service the customers (b) Waiting time in the queue (c) existence of Kalsel Syariah ATM machine (d) Interest rate level given by the bank.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to actualize the cultural value of siri' na pacce in the soul of every individual in the accountability of a non-governmental organization (NGO). Research methodology: This type of research is qualitative with a data analysis process using an ethnographic approach which aims to understand the indigenous people's point of view, their relationship with life, to realize their vision of their world. The research was conducted at the gardening learning community Maros Youth Learning Center (MYLC), a learning center under the SRP Payo-payo organization in Maros, South Sulawesi. Results: The research results found that the actualization of siri' na pacce cultural values provides a strong and ethical accountability framework for the NGO. It enhances the running of the organization by fostering a sense of unity to achieve a common mission which is not only symbolized by material accountability, but also by non-material values, such as mutual respect, solidarity, and empathy. In the end, the values of siri' na pacce positively impact the organization's members as a whole. Limitations: Researcher has limitation in interacting with community donors due to limited space which refers to geographical challenges that hinder direct access to donors. Contribution: This research contributes to organizations regarding the implementation of accountability that is imbued with local cultural values, can strengthen accountability and ethics in NGO management because there are intangible, non-material elements.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process which is an interaction carried out by all components of learning. All components of learning have different functions, so learning will be imperfect and difficult to achieve the expected goals. One that needs to be maximized is a learning method that is in accordance with the learning material and expected goals. In research using this literature method, it examines the learning methods used by Adnan Hasan Baharits in learning Hadith. This is important to study to know how effective ways to study Hadith. This research produces three main points, namely: first, before doing learning, teachers should prepare to explore the material to be taught by reading other references so that when delivering the material is not only fixated on one reference. Second, the ongoing learning process should involve all components of learning, especially students by providing opportunities for students to argue and think critically so that the learning process is not only teacher-oriented. Third, that learning evaluation can be done by giving questions to students related to the material that has been taught or by giving assignments to be done at home.

Abstract

Qur’anic learning represents an Islamic educational system composed of interrelated components designed to support the realisation of educational objectives. These components include the goals, fundamental principles, and methodological steps. This study explores the Qur’anic tilâwah learning model conceptualised by Hasan Ja‘far al-Khalîfah and Kamâl al-Dîn Muhammad Hâsyim. This study employs library research, with the primary source being the book Fushûl fî Tadrîs al-Tarbiyah al-Islâmiyyah authored by Hasan Ja‘far al-Khalîfah and Kamâl al-Dîn Muhammad Hâsyim. Through content analysis, it was found that the model of tilâwah al-Qur’an learning encompasses seven learning objectives, seven fundamental principles that integrate technical, spiritual, and contextual dimensions, and five sequential methodological steps (opening, demonstration, discussion and explanation, practice, and evaluation). These components emphasise mastery of correct technical recitation while simultaneously internalising spiritual values and actualising the meanings of verses in real-life situations. The model of al-Khalîfah and Hâsyim reflects relevance and applicability in the contemporary era, particularly in addressing low Qur’anic literacy through a holistic and systematic approach that can be adapted to digital technology, social inclusion, and community-based initiatives.

Abstract

Land degradation due to land use change threatens soil quality and watershed function in Java, Indonesia. This study aimed to evaluate soil quality across various land-use types in the Central Rembangan micro-watershed, East Java, Indonesia, using the Soil Quality Index (SQI) approach based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Soil samples were collected from 18 Land Mapping Units (LMUs). The LMU represents a combination of three types of land use, namely rice fields, plantations, and dryland agriculture. The LMU includes six slope classes, namely 0-3%, 3-8%, 8-15%, 15-25%, 25-40%, and >40%. The PCA analysis identified nine key indicators as the Minimum Data Set (MDS). These indicators include soil porosity, permeability, total nitrogen, exchangeable Mg, C/N ratio, soil pH, particle specific gravity, electrical conductivity (EC), and cation exchange capacity (CEC). The SQI value ranges from 0.50 to 0.77. The SQI value shows a significant difference between land use types at p<0.10. The rice field system has the highest SQI value of 0.68±0.09. The plantation system has an SQI value of 0.61±0.06. The dryland agricultural system has an SQI value of 0.57±0.09. Spatial analysis showed that 60% of micro-watershed areas have good soil quality. The good soil quality areas are located in the upstream part which is dominated by forest and plantations. As many as 40% of micro-watershed areas have moderate soil quality. Soil porosity and soil permeability are major contributors to soil quality in all types of land use.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan sistem informasi berbasis web untuk mendukung proses monitoring layanan bimbingan dan konseling (BK) di SMP Negeri 1 Mayong. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan sekolah akan sistem yang dapat mempermudah serta mempercepat pengelolaan data BK.Hasil observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa pencatatan pelanggaran siswa, data kehadiran, dan pelaporan kegiatan masih dilakukan secara manual melalui buku atau dokumen fisik. Proses tersebut tidak efisien, memerlukan waktu lama, rawan kesalahan, dan menyulitkan saat dilakukan rekap data berkala.Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, tim pengabdian merancang sistem informasi yang dapat diakses melalui komputer maupun ponsel. Sistem ini memiliki fitur utama seperti pencatatan pelanggaran secara digital, rekap kehadiran kegiatan BK, pembuatan laporan otomatis, serta dashboard berbasis peran bagi guru BK, kepala sekolah, dan orang tua. Dashboard untuk orang tua memungkinkan pemantauan perkembangan perilaku anak secara langsung sehingga komunikasi dengan sekolah menjadi lebih efektif.Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Waterfall, mulai dari analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, hingga pelatihan pengguna. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP dan MySQL, kemudian diuji sebelum digunakan oleh sekolah.Hasil program menunjukkan adanya perubahan nyata: proses pencatatan menjadi lebih cepat, laporan lebih akurat, dan monitoring oleh kepala sekolah berlangsung lebih transparan. Orang tua juga lebih terlibat karena dapat menerima notifikasi serta laporan digital tentang perkembangan anak.
