Abstract

This study aims to determine the pedagogical competence of teachers in class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Al Fatah Nangahale and to determine student learning motivation in class VII MTs Muhammadiyah Al Fatah Nangahale. By using descriptive qualitative. Primary data from this study came from subject teachers, head of Madrasah, students. Meanwhile, secondary data using supporting documents of this research are learning tools, profiles, vision and mission. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. To analyse the data, researchers carried out activities in data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results of this study indicate that pedagogic competence in the category is quite good, namely the competence of mastering the characteristics of students and curriculum development competencies, communication competencies with students while pedagogic competence in the category is lacking, namely the competence of mastering learning theory and the principles of educational learning, the competence of educational learning activities, the competence of developing the potential of students, as well as the competence of assessment and evaluation and student learning motivation at MTs Muhammadiyah Al Fatah Nnagahale can be said to be still low.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mempercepat arus informasi, namun juga memperbesar potensi penyebaran berita hoaks, khususnya di media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh rasionalisme yakni pendekatan filsafat yang menekankan penggunaan akal dan logika terhadap kecenderungan masyarakat dalam menerima dan menyebarkan informasi hoaks. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik survei daring terhadap 52 responden pengguna aktif media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki kecenderungan berpikir kritis dan rasional, ditandai dengan verifikasi informasi sebelum menyebarkannya dan pemahaman akan pentingnya akal dan logika. Sebanyak 94,23% responden mengaku melakukan verifikasi terhadap informasi, dan 86,54% memahami fungsi akal dan logika dalam menilai kebenaran. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa prinsip-prinsip rasionalisme dapat menjadi landasan efektif dalam membentuk ketahanan masyarakat terhadap disinformasi digital. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan literasi digital dan pelatihan berpikir kritis berbasis rasionalisme menjadi strategi penting dalam menangkal hoaks di era informasi.

Abstract

Improving quality of human resources by utilizing the potential of women is a very important strategy to overcome economic disparities in households. However, the results of initial survey and interview with partners indicate that self-motivation, limited knowledge, skills, and gender inequality are obstacles or problem in developing their potential. Therefore, the purpose of this devotion program is to empower women as a potential human resource by developing motivation for implementing entrepreneurial concept to improve family economics through skills from embroidering the hijab. Method of the training program was held by using socialization or counseling and practice. The partner is a member of the Family Welfare Empowerment Organization (PKK) in Gampong Rukoh, Darussalam, Banda Aceh, totaling 40 people. Further, evaluation was applied by analyzing and interpreting data resulted of survey. The results achieved showed: (1). the aspect of improving soft skills, 50% of partners gain new insights or understanding and knowledge and understanding on the importance of entrepreneurial motivation in supporting the household economy, (2). the aspect of increasing hard skills, 75% of partners can design hijab embroidery with various models or new creations, (3). aspects of increasing economic value: 70% claimed that hijab embroidery is a popular product that is easy to market in increasing family income. Peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia dengan memanfaatkan potensi perempuan merupakan strategi yang sangat penting untuk mengatasi kesenjangan ekonomi dalam rumah tangga. Namun, hasil survei awal dan wawancara dengan mitra menunjukkan bahwa motivasi diri, keterbatasan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan gender inequality menjadi kendala atau masalah dalam mengembangkan potensi mereka. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberdayakan perempuan sebagai sumber daya manusia yang potensial dengan mengembangkan motivasi kewirausahaan untuk meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga melalui keterampilan menyulam jilbab. Metode program pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan sosialisasi atau penyuluhan dan juga praktek. Mitra adalah anggota Organisasi Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) di Gampong Rukoh, Darussalam, Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 40 orang. Untuk selanjutnya, evaluasi dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis dan interpretasi terhadap data hasil pelaksanaan survey. Hasil yang dicapai antara lain: (1). aspek peningkatan soft skill: sebanyak 50% mitra mendapatkan wawasan atau pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya motivasi berwirausaha dalam mendukung perekonomian rumah tangga, (2). aspek peningkatan hard skill: sebanyak 75% mitra sudah mampu mendesain bordir hijab dengan berbagai model atau kreasi baru, (3). aspek peningkatan nilai ekonomis: bordir sebanyak 70% menyatakan jilbab adalah produk yang banyak diminati sehingga mudah dipasarkan untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, disiplin kerja guru, dan motivasi kerja secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap kinerja guru SMK Negeri 1 Seberida. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan model analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel jenuh, dimana seluruh guru PNS SMK Negeri 1 Seberida dijadikan populasi dan sampel yang berjumlah 46 guru PNS termasuk kepala sekolah. Untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. (2) Disiplin kerja guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. (3) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh posistif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. (4) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, disiplin kerja guru, dan motivasi kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signfikan terhadap kinerja guru. Setelah dilakukan uji simultan dapat dibuktikan semakin baik kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, semakin tinggi kedisiplinan guru dan tinggi tingkat pemberian motivasi maka akan meningkatkan kinerja guru.

Abstract

Smartphones are a communication tool that is inseparable from student life due to various academic activities. However, unwise use can cause various problems. One of the problems that can arise is Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). This problem can develop into a more serious problem, such as Nomophobia. Nomophobia is a feeling of fear that arises when you are away from your smartphone. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Nomophobia tendencies in students. The research sample was taken using a probability sampling method with multistage cluster sampling and dipropionate stratified sampling techniques involving 351 students from four universities. This study used the Fear of Missing Out Scale (FoMOS) and Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) as instruments. The results of hypothesis testing using the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation show a coefficient value of r=0,320 (p0,05), which indicates a positive relationship between FoMO and Nomophobia tendencies in students. The higher the intensity of feeling connected and afraid of missing out on the latest information, the greater the risk of creating fear of being away from smartphones.Smartphone merupakan alat komunikasi yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan mahasiswa karena berbagai tuntutan akademis. Namun, penggunaan yang tidak bijak dapat menimbulkan berbagai masalah. Salah satu permasalahan dapat ditunjukkan dengan kebiasaan memeriksa smartphone agar tidak ketinggalan informasi, yang dikenal sebagai Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). Permasalahan ini dapat berkembang menjadi masalah yang lebih serius, yaitu Nomophobia. Nomophobia merupakan perasaan ketakutan yang timbul ketika jauh dari smartphone. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara FoMO dan kecenderungan Nomophobia pada mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan metode probability sampling dengan teknik multistage cluster sampling dan disproportionate stratified random sampling yang melibatkan 351 mahasiswa dari empat universitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Fear of Missing Out Scale (FoMOS) dan Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) sebagai instrumen. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Pearson Product-Moment Correlation menunjukkan nilai koefisien sebesar r=0,320 (p0,05), yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan positif antara FoMO dan kecenderungan Nomophobia pada mahasiswa. Artinya, semakin tinggi intensitas untuk merasa terhubung dan takut ketinggalan informasi terbaru, maka akan semakin besar risiko untuk memunculkan perasaan takut jauh dari smartphone.

Abstract

Pengasuhan serta bimbingan secara khusus perlu diberikan kepada anak cerebral palsy agar mampu beraktivitas seperti anak normal lainnya. Keadaan tersebut mengakibatkan ibu mengalami kelelahan fisik dan emosional, sehingga ibu tidak mudah untuk menerima kenyataan bahwa anaknya mengalami cerebral palsy. Untuk dapat memiliki penerimaan diri terhadap anak cerebral palsy, maka ibu perlu berada pada kondisi mindfulness sehingga dapat membantu ibu untuk menerima secara utuh terhadap kondisi diri dan anaknya yang mengalami cerebral palsy. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan mindfulness dan penerimaan diri pada ibu yang memiliki anak cerebral palsy. Sebanyak 60 ibu yang memiliki anak cerebral palsy terlibat sebagai sampel penelitian yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Mindfulness diukur menggunakan adaptasi Mindfulness Attention and Awareness Scale (MAAS), sementara penerimaan diri diukur menggunakan Bergers Self-Acceptance Scale. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pearson correlation, yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara mindfulness dengan penerimaan diri (p= .00, r= .592) yang dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi mindfulness pada ibu yang memiliki anak cerebral palsy, maka semakin tinggi pula penerimaan dirinya.Exceptional consideration and direction should be given to children with cerebral palsy so that they are able to do activities like other normal children. This situation causes the mother to experience physical and emotional tiredness, so she may not easily accept the fact that her child has Cerebral palsy. To be fully accepting of their children with cerebral palsy, mothers may need to engage in a condition of mindfulness that can help them to fully accept the condition of themselves and their children with cerebral palsy. This study aims to determine the relationship between mindfulness and self-acceptance in mothers who have a child with cerebral palsy. A total of 60 mothers who had children with cerebral palsy were involved as research samples selected using purposive sampling method. Mindfulness was measured using an adaptation of the Mindfulness Attention and Awareness Scale (MAAS), while self-acceptance was measured using Berger's Self-Acceptance Scale. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation, which showed that there was a significant positive relationship between mindfulness and self-acceptance (p= .00, r= .592), which can be interpreted that the higher the mindfulness of mothers who have children with cerebral palsy, the higher the self-acceptance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Teacher performance evaluation plays an important role in improving the quality of education through continuous professional development that supports enhanced competence and learning quality. This research was conducted using an in-depth literature study method on various scientific references related to teacher performance evaluation at SDN 73/IX Simpang Sungai Duren in Indonesia. The research stages included selecting relevant literature, collecting data through documentation, conducting qualitative analysis of 20 literature sources, and drawing conclusions based on four main research focuses. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of evaluation is still dominated by the top-down method, with the involvement of the principal and supervisor as the main evaluators, and minimal participation from students and parents. On the other hand, teacher competency achievements are classified as good in pedagogical and professional aspects, but are still weak in the application of learning technology and methodological innovation. The use of evaluation results is generally still administrative and has not been utilized strategically for career development or improving the quality of learning. Evaluation also faces various obstacles, such as time constraints, assessor subjectivity, and the absence of standardized standard instruments. Thus, a more participatory, fair, and sustainable teacher development-oriented evaluation approach is needed in order to support the transformation of quality education. ABSTRAK Evaluasi kinerja guru berperan penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan yang mendukung peningkatan kompetensi dan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur yang mendalam terhadap berbagai referensi ilmiah terkait evaluasi kinerja guru SDN 73/IX Simpang Sungai Duren di Indonesia. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pemilihan literatur yang relevan, pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi, analisis kualitatif terhadap 20 sumber pustaka, serta penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan empat fokus utama penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan evaluasi masih didominasi oleh metode top-down, dengan keterlibatan kepala sekolah dan pengawas sebagai evaluator utama, serta minimnya partisipasi dari siswa dan orang tua. Di sisi lain, capaian kompetensi guru tergolong baik dalam aspek pedagogik dan profesional, namun masih lemah dalam penerapan teknologi pembelajaran dan inovasi metodologis. Penggunaan hasil evaluasi umumnya masih bersifat administratif dan belum dimanfaatkan secara strategis untuk pengembangan karier atau peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. Evaluasi juga menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan waktu, subjektivitas penilai, dan belum adanya instrumen baku yang terstandar. Dengan demikian, diperlukan pendekatan evaluasi yang lebih partisipatif, adil, dan berorientasi pada pembinaan guru secara berkelanjutan agar mampu mendukung transformasi pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which financial literacy and e-commerce utilization influence the sustainability of culinary MSMEs in Jambi City. The research question addressed is whether financial literacy and e-commerce individually and jointly have a significant impact on business sustainability. A quantitative approach was employed through survey methods involving 100 culinary MSME respondents. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests to ensure data quality. The results indicate that financial literacy and E-Commerce has a positive and significant effect on MSME sustainability. These findings highlight the crucial role of improving financial literacy and adopting digital technology in supporting the growth and resilience of MSMEs in the era of digital transformation. The impact of this research is expected to provide a basis for the formulation of MSME development strategies by local governments and related institutions, as well as to encourage business actors to become more adaptive to technological changes and effective financial management.

Abstract

The success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in maintaining business sustainability largely depends on their ability to develop innovative strategies rooted in market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation. In South Sumatra, MSMEs are required to produce superior products with high competitiveness in order to survive in a dynamic and competitive market. This study aims to analyze the influence of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on product innovation; analyze the influence of market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, and product innovation on MSME performance; and examine the mediating role of product innovation in the relationship between market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on MSME performance in South Sumatra. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through Google Forms from 100 MSME respondents across five cities in South Sumatra. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. Hypothesis testing was conducted through t-tests, F-tests, and the measurement of the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation have a positive and significant influence on product innovation, with an F-value of 912.447 and R² of 0.950. Both market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation also significantly affect MSME performance, with an F-value of 708.659 and R² of 0.936. Furthermore, product innovation has a very significant impact on MSME performance, with an R² of 0.989. Product innovation also acts as a mediator that strengthens the influence of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on MSME performance. Market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation play a crucial role in driving product innovation, which in turn significantly impacts MSME performance. Product innovation is proven to be a strong mediating variable in this relationship. The practical implication of these findings is the need to strengthen strategic and innovative aspects to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in South Sumatra.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the types of errors and the contributing factors in solving final semester mathematics exam questions among Grade VIII junior high school (JHS) students. This is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. Data on errors were collected from the Final Semester Examination (FSE) results and through in-depth interviews with 28 Grade VIII JHS students in Palu City during the 2022/2023 academic year. Based on the analysis of five tested topics, number patterns, Cartesian coordinates, relations and functions, linear equations, and systems of linear equations in two variables, it was found that the most frequent errors were conceptual errors, particularly in the topics of Cartesian coordinates and linear equations. The main factors contributing to these errors include students’ inability to determine and apply appropriate formulas, as well as limited competency in performing calculation operations.
