Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan prasarana yang digunakan siswa di bengkel praktik teknik kendaraan ringan di SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman dan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dan kelengkapan sarana di bengkel praktik teknik kendaraan ringan di SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan subjeknya adalah kepala jurusan dan kepala bengkel kompetensi keahlian teknik kendaraan ringan. Analisis statistik deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengumpulkan data tentang seluruh peralatan dan bahan praktik yang diambil melalui observasi di ruang praktik (bengkel), serta dokumen atau data inventaris yang dibuat oleh sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sarana yang terdiri dari area kerja mobil, area kerja kelistrikan, dan ruang penyimpanan serta instruktur dikategorikan layak dan sangat layak; area kerja chasis dan pemindah tenaga dikategorikan tidak layak. Selanjutnya, kelayakan sarana bengkel yang mencakup peralatan, media pembelajaran, dan perlengkapan pendukung dikategorikan layak dan sangat layak. This study aims to determine the level of feasibility of infrastructure used by students in the light vehicle engineering practical workshop at SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman and to determine the level of feasibility and completeness of facilities in the light vehicle engineering practical workshop at SMK Negeri 4 Pariaman. This research uses descriptive research methods with the subject is the head of the department and the head of the workshop for the competence of light vehicle engineering expertise. Descriptive statistical analysis was used in this study to collect data about all practical equipment and materials taken through observation in the practice room (workshop), as well as documents or inventory data made by the school. Based on the results of the study, the facilities consisting of car work areas, electrical work areas, and storage rooms and instructors are categorized as feasible and very feasible; chassis and power transfer work areas are categorized as not feasible. Furthermore, the feasibility of workshop facilities that include equipment, learning media, and supporting equipment is categorized as feasible and very feasible.

Abstract

Bahan bakar kendaraan hidrogen-listrik agar dapat digunakan, harus melalui proses pemisahan molekul air (elektrolisis) menjadi hidrogen dan oksigen. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, tegangan dan arus yang dihasilkan masih kecil dan membutuhkan catu daya yang lebih besar. Dengan menambahkan variasi gear yang berbeda pada sisi generator akan mempengaruhi tegangan dan arus yang dihasilkan sehingga nantinya bisa lebih baik atau lebih buruk. Metode tersebut merupakan metode eksperimental pinion yang diuji pada kecepatan 40 km, 50 km, 60 km dan 70 km/jam. Hasil pengujian tegangan pada kecepatan 40 km, 50 km, 60 km dan 70 km/jam diperoleh  3,1 V tegangannya  dan 0,07 A yang diperoleh saat kecepatan 40 km/jam, kemudian 4,0 V tegangan dan 0,27 A arus yang peroleh saat kecepatan 50 km/jam, 4, 9 V dan 0,36 A pada 60 Km/Jam dan 5,9 V serta arus 0,43 A pada 70 Km/Jam. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh maka proses elektrolitik dapat dilakukan karena prosesnya memerlukan tegangan sebesar 5,8 V. To be usable, hydrogen-electric vehicle fuel must go through a separation process a water molecule verification process (electrolysis) to become hydrogen and oxygen. In previous research, the resulting voltage and current were small and required a larger power supply. By adding different gear variations on the generator side, it will affect the voltage and current produced so that later it can be better or worse. This method is an experimental pinion method that was tested at speeds of 40 km, 50 km, 60 km and 70 km/hour. The results of the voltage test at speeds of 40 km, 50 km, 60 km and 70 km/hour obtained a voltage of 3.1 V and 0.07 A which was obtained at a speed of 40 km/hour, then a voltage of 4.0 V and a current of 0.27 A obtained at a speed of 50 km/hour, 4.9 V and 0.36 A at 60 Km/hour and 5.9 V and a current of 0.43 A at 70 Km/hour. Based on the average value obtained, the electrolytic process can be performed because the process requires a voltage of 5.8 V.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi akibat adanya dampak negatif dari peningkatan penggunaan kendaraan bermotor yaitu masalah keamanan, polusi, kemacetan, emisi, penggunaan energi dan lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa penggunaan busi standard, platinum, dan iridium terhadap emisi gas buang sepeda motor Scoopy PGM-FI 2020. Jenis penelitian eksperimen. Objek Penelitian yaitu Scoopy PGM-FI 2020. Instrumen penelitian yaitu tachometer dan gas analyzer. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa penggunaan jenis busi platinum lebih baik untuk mengurangi kadar emisi gas buang, dengan analisis perbandingan dengan busi standard yaitu dengan kisaran rata-rata hasil CO yaitu 0.15% - 0,20%, dan rata-rata hasil CO₂ yaitu  3,9% - 6.4%, lalu untuk kadar HC dengan rata-rata yaitu 67 – 81 ppm. Kesimpulannya yaitu bahwasannya pemakaian jenis busi platinum yang mampu menurunkan kadar dari emisi gas buang baik dari CO, CO₂, maupun HC daripada penggunaan jenis busi standar ataupun iridium.  This research is motivated by the negative impacts of increasing use of motorized vehicles, namely safety issues, pollution, congestion, emissions, energy use and others. The aim of this research is to analyze the use of standard, platinum and iridium spark plugs on the exhaust gas emissions of the 2020 Scoopy PGM-FI motorbike. This type of research is experimental. The research object is the Scoopy PGM-FI 2020. The research instruments are the Tachometer and Gas Analyzer. The data analysis technique is percentage analysis. The research results showed that the use of platinum spark plugs is better for reducing exhaust gas emission levels, with a comparative analysis with standard spark plugs, namely with an average CO yield range of 0.15% - 0.20%, and an average CO₂ yield of 3. 9% - 6.4%, then for HC levels the average is 67 – 81 ppm. The conclusion is that the use of platinum spark plugs is able to reduce levels of exhaust emissions from both CO, CO₂, and HC compared to the use of standard or Iridium spark plugs.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan bermotor mengakibatkan kebutuhan akan penggunaan bahan bakar dan hasil gas buang yang tinggi, oleh karena itu penting untuk mengatur mesin dengan efisiensi yang tinggi untuk mengatasi batasan konsumsi mesin dan mengurangi pembuangan gas buang yang tidak aman. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan beberapa mode altitude pada sepeda motor matic pada ketinggian 0-1000 MDPL terhadap penggunaan bahan bakar dan gas buang, dengan metode eksperimen, dengan Teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penggunaan mode 3 konsumsi bahan bakar dan emisi yang dihasilkan lebih baik, hasil penggunaan bahan bakar yaitu 57,9 km/l hasil emisi terendah CO 0,17% dan HC 47 ppm akan tetapi penggunaan mode ini mengakibatkan motor susah dihidupkan. Konsumsi bahan bakar mode 1 yaitu 48,5 km/l hasil emisi terendah CO 0,36% dan HC 127 ppm. Konsumsi bahan bakar mode 2 yaitu 57 km/l, hasil emisi CO 0,36% dan HC 58 ppm, pada mode 2 mesin juga susah dihidupkan. Hasil dari penggunaan  ketiga mode konsumsi bahan bakar dan gas buan masih sesuai standar.  The increasing number of motorized vehicles creates a need for high fuel consumption and exhaust gas output, therefore it is important to regulate engines with high efficiency to overcome engine consumption limitations and reduce unsafe exhaust gas discharge. This research was conducted to determine the impact of using several altitude modes on automatic motorbikes at an altitude of 0-1000 MDPL on fuel and exhaust gas use, using experimental methods, using quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of using mode 3 fuel consumption and the resulting emissions are better, the results of fuel use are 57.9 km/l, the lowest emissions are CO 0.17% and HC 47 ppm, however using this mode makes it difficult to start the motorbike. Mode 1 fuel consumption is 48.5 km/l resulting in the lowest emissions of CO 0.36% and HC 127 ppm. Fuel consumption in mode 2 is 57 km/l, CO emissions are 0.36% and HC is 58 ppm, in mode 2 the engine is also difficult to start. The results from using the three fuel and exhaust gas consumption modes are still within standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi performa mesin sepeda motor injeksi 4 langkah menggunakan variasi rasio kompresi, derajat pengapian, busi, dan biogasoline. Pengujian dilakukan dengan variasi rasio kompresi, waktu pengapian, dan jenis busi untuk menentukan tingkat emisi HC dan CO yang optimal. Metode Taguchi digunakan dalam penelitian ini pada mesin Yamaha Vega ZR 2010 yang telah dimodifikasi dengan EFI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi optimal untuk emisi hidrokarbon adalah biogasoline E70, rasio kompresi 16,1:1, derajat pengapian +4°, dan busi nikel. Sedangkan untuk emisi karbon monoksida, kombinasi optimalnya adalah biogasoline E70, rasio kompresi 15,6:1, derajat pengapian +4°, dan busi platinum. Hasil pengujian verifikasi menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi optimal untuk emisi karbon monoksida lebih disarankan karena nilai total error yang lebih rendah. This study evaluates the performance of a four-stroke motorcycle engine using variations in compression ratio, ignition timing, spark plugs, and biogasoline. The tests were conducted with variations in compression ratio, ignition timing, and spark plug types to determine the optimal levels of HC and CO emissions. The Taguchi method was used in this study on a 2010 Yamaha Vega ZR engine modified with EFI. The results showed that the optimal combination for hydrocarbon emissions was biogasoline E70, a compression ratio of 16.1:1, ignition timing of +4°, and nickel spark plugs. For carbon monoxide emissions, the optimal combination was biogasoline E70, a compression ratio of 15.6:1, ignition timing of +4°, and platinum spark plugs. The result of verification indicated that the optimal combination for carbon monoxide emissions is more recommended due to a lower total error value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar penerapan kurikulum merdeka terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X TBSM pada mata pelajaran DDPK di SMK Nasional Kayutanam. Sementara itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hubungan kuantitatif korelasi. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X TBSM di SMK Nasional Kayutanam.  Jumlah responden yang digunakan untuk mengisi sebuah angket terdapat 45 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan teknik total sampling. Kemudian setelah data terkumpul data diolah dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 25 dan bantuan microsoft excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kurikulum merdeka mempunyai kontribusi sebesar 9,7% terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. This research aims to find out how much the application of independence criteria affects the learning motivation of class X TBSM students in DDPK subjects at SMK Nasional Kayutanam. Meanwhile, this research uses a quantitative correlation research method. The population used in this research were class X TBSM students at SMK Nasional Kayutanam.  The number of respondents used to fill a transport was 45 respondents. The sampling technique in this research was a total sampling technique. Then after the data was collected, the data was processed using SPSS 25 and excel microsoft. The research results show that the independent curriculum variable has an contribution of 9.7% on student learning motivation.

Abstract

The main aim of SMK is to prepare students to have the practical skills and knowledge needed to enter the world of work. After completing education at vocational school, students can immediately work or choose to continue their education to a higher level. The alignment between the vocational school curriculum and industry demands, especially in graduate skills training (link and match), is currently not yet optimal so it is not adequate to meet the needs of the world of work, industry and business. Even though certain efforts and policies have been made, there are still a number of problems faced by vocational school students. At SMKN 1 Koto Baru, one of the fundamental problems that need special attention in learning is the lack of availability of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) competencies. This skill is a very important competency, especially in the Motorcycle Engineering and Business (TBSM) program. The results of observations in schools show that practical equipment for both teachers in the teaching process and for students as practical objects is sufficient and always updated. This happens because SMKN 1 Koto Baru has workshop and laboratory facilities which are equipped with adequate equipment. Apart from that, the instruments used in the practicum are good and can be operated according to the standards they should be. Therefore, training was carried out on the use of the smart simulator to increase learning activities because it involved technology in this training which provided new experiences to students. From the results of the activity, it can be seen that students are very enthusiastic and have increased activity in learning because they can carry out a more complete and clear exploration of learning about the EFI system on motorbikes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the reliability of applying a thermal management system in conjunction with Internet of Things in solar electric cars. In conventional electric cars or those whose driving energy source comes from gasoline fuel; the applied thermal management system is mainly used as a coolant for the internal combustion engine. However, for electric cars the thermal management system may be used for the main components such as controllers that convert solar module energy into electricity and batteries. Results from tests utilizing six DC fans for air cooling of the thermal management system yield two variations of battery charging conditions from the solar modules, namely variations of 25 and 400 turns of the trimmer constant current step-up charger. Test results from the proposed thermal management system show that the highest step-up charger temperature is 35.75 °C with voltage of 57.64 V for the variation of 25 laps. The test results on the battery voltage and temperature show that the highest battery temperature reaches 31.75 °C with voltage of 57.3 V at the variation of 25 rounds.

Abstract

This research is a tracer study that aims to determine the distribution of graduates of the D3 Automotive Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University who have worked and the fields of work undertaken by the graduates. This study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis approach. The tracking study is carried out by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires with the help of the Google form. The total number of respondents or alums was 89 of the Automotive Engineering Study Program in 2014, 2015, and 2016, with 64 alums. The research results show that 71.91% of graduates have found work, of which 46.1% have found work in their graduate field. 34.38% of alums get jobs after graduating within an average of 1-3 months. 39.06% of alums, on average, earn between IDR 2,000,000 and IDR 3,000,000 per month. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebaran lulusan Program Studi D3 Teknik Otomotif Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang yang telah bekerja dan kesesuaian bidang kerja lulusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Pelaksanaan studi pelacakan dilaksanakan dengan membagikan angketdengan format google form. Jumlah keseluruhan responden atau alumni sebanyak 89 orang alumni Program Studi Teknik Otomotif tahun masuk 2014, 2015 dan 2016 dengan jumlah 64 alumni. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lulusan yang sudah mendapatkan pekerjaan sebanyak 71,91%, dimana 46.1% diantaranya mendapatkan pekerjaan sesuai dengan bidang lulusannya. 34.38% alumni mendapatkan pekerjaan setelah lulus dalam rentang waktu rata-rata 1-3 bulan. 39.06% alumni rata-rata berpenghasilan antara Rp 2.000.000-Rp 3.000.000 per bulan.

Abstract

This study discusses the design of a four stroke motorcycle injection system with the aim of reducing harmful substances in exhaust emissions by changing the conventional system to an EFI system and to determine the torque and power and fuel consumption produced. This research method uses the experimental method. The results of this study are the power produced in the designed EFI system decreased by 4.33% with a difference of 0.23 kW, torque decreased by 6.95% with a difference of 0.57 kW, and the content of HC exhaust emissions decreased by 394.58% with a difference of 365.66 ppm, CO content decreased by 39.13%, with a difference of 0.63%, the content of CO2 in exhaust emissions on a four stroke motorcycle that was converted to an EFI system increased by 68.99% with a difference of 2.67%, and fuel consumption was getting smaller so that it increased by 31.85% with a difference of 21.98 Km/ L. Penelitian ini membahas tentang rancang bangun sistem injeksi sepeda motor 4 langkah dengan tujuan mengurangi zat berbahaya dalam emisi gas buang dengan mengubah sistem konvensional menjadi sistem EFI dan untuk menentukan torsi, daya, dan konsumsi bahan bakar yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa daya yang dihasilkan dalam sistem EFI yang dirancang menurun sebesar 4,33% dengan selisih 0,23 kW, torsi menurun sebesar 6,95% dengan selisih 0,57 Nm, dan kandungan emisi HC menurun sebesar 394,58% dengan selisih 365,66 ppm, kandungan CO menurun sebesar 39,13% dengan selisih 0,63%, kandungan CO2 dalam emisi gas buang pada sepeda motor 4 langkah yang dikonversi menjadi sistem EFI meningkat sebesar 68,99% dengan selisih 2,67%, dan konsumsi bahan bakar menjadi lebih kecil sehingga meningkat sebesar 31,85% dengan selisih 21,98 km/L.
