Abstract

This study explores innovative public policy strategies to break the cycle of disability-related poverty in Indonesia through a comprehensive literature review. The analysis reveals that barriers to education, employment, health services, and social protection, exacerbated by discrimination and stigma, are structural and mutually reinforcing poverty and exclusion. Grounded in the social model of disability and the capability approach, the study emphasizes that poverty is not merely a result of impairment but systemic obstacles limiting individual agency and opportunity. It highlights the role of Law Number 8 of 2016 as a foundational legal framework while stressing the need for consistent implementation, cross-sectoral coordination, and active participation of persons with disabilities in policymaking. Promising approaches include inclusive governance, accessible infrastructure, skills development programs, and stigma reduction initiatives. The study contributes theoretically by reinforcing the view that disability inclusion is a matter of rights and a strategic imperative for sustainable development and social justice. Embedding inclusive values into the core of public policy is key to reducing inequality and ensuring no one is left behind in Indonesia’s development.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah untuk mengedukasi pentingnya menulis dan cara menulis yang mudah pada guru olahraga di Kota Jayapura. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu: persiapan, pendidikan atau pelatihan, penguatan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan PkM menunjukkan sebanyak 21 guru olahraga di Kota Jayapura, Papua, mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Sebanyak 80.95% atau 17 orang adalah guru olahraga laki-laki sedangkan 19.05% atau 4 orang adalah guru perempuan. Secara usia, rata-rata usia peserta PkM adalah 34.57 ± 10.62 tahun dengan usia guru yang termuda adalah 23 tahun sedangkan yang senior 57 tahun. Berdasarkan pengalaman, tampak bahwa rata-rata peserta memiliki pengalaman mengajar selama 8.95 tahun dan bahkan terdapat yang sudah mengajar 29 tahun. Sebanyak 85.71% peserta PkM menyatakan belum pernah menulis artikel dan sebanyak 90.48% belum pernah menulis buku. Sebanyak 90.5% peserta menyebutkan belum pernah menggunakan aplikasi references tools. Sebanyak 85% peserta dapat memahami dengan baik materi penulisan yang diberikan dan peserta sangat tertarik untuk membuat tulisan bertema olahraga pendidikan, olahraga rekreasi, serta olahraga prestasi. Motivasi menulis peserta PkM tampak cukup tinggi atau dengan kata lain guru olahraga memiliki hasrat yang tinggi agar dapat menulis artikel maupun buku. Kata kunci: guru olahraga; edukasi menulis; cara menulis. Abstract This community service activity (PkM) aims to disseminate the importance of writing and to train easy writing to physical education teachers in Jayapura City. This community service activity was carried out through four stages, namely: preparation, education or training, strengthening, and evaluation. As many as 21 junior high school physical education teachers in Jayapura City, Papua, participated in this activity (17 males and 4 females). In terms of age, the average age of PkM participants is 34.57 ± 10.62 years with the youngest teacher being 23 years old while the oldest is 57 years old. Based on experience, it appears that the average participant has 8.95 years of teaching experience and some have even taught for 29 years. As many as 85.71% of PkM participants stated that they had never written an article and 90.48% had never written a book. As many as 90.5% of participants said they had never used the reference tools application. As many as 85% of participants could understand the provided writing material well and the participants were very interested in writing on the themes of educational sports, recreational sports, and sports achievements. The motivation of PkM participants to write seems high enough to be able to write articles and books. Keywords: physical education teacher; how to write; writing education.

Abstract

The blend of cultural and religious values in theMerariq tradition of the Sasak people is closely related to the perspective of artistic communication. Communication and culture have a very close relationship, where one of the main functions of communication is to disseminate culture. The cultural communication process in question encompasses all stages in the Merariq tradition. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive qualitative approach and applies Herbert Blumer's symbolic interactionism as the theoretical framework. The study results show that integrating religious and cultural values in the Merariq tradition produces a harmonious blend. This acculturation has elevated the status of both values to a higher level.

Abstract

This study examines the cultural perception of deception among Indonesian ethnic groups, particularly in South and West Sulawesi. The data reveals two key findings; (1) factual inaccuracy ([+false]) serves as the primary criterion for lie identification, prioritizing objective truth over subjective intent, and (2) lie prototypicality is independent of the number of deceptive elements, with single-element [+false] statements rated as strongly deceptive. These results challenge classical lie prototype theories and highlight a distinct moral logic in collectivist contexts, where factual discordance may inherently undermine social trust. While offering novel insights, the study’s generalizability is limited by its focus on two Sulawesi communities and reliance on self-reported data. Future research should employ mixed-method approaches and expand to other Indonesian ethnicities to validate these patterns. By demonstrating how cultural norms reshape deception paradigms, this work advocates for pluralistic models of truth-assessment that move beyond Western-centric frameworks.

Abstract

Character development in children must be implemented from an early age. This includes building entrepreneurial character in children. Building entrepreneurial character in children requires stimulation in accordance with child development. Therefore it takes some efforts to implement it. This research was conducted at RA Harapan Kita, Kec. Lut Tawar, Kab. Central Aceh for teachers and children aged 5-6 years, with a total of 15 children. The research method uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique uses the Milles and Huberman model, namely through observation, interviews and research-related literature studies. The results of the study show that the teacher's role in building entrepreneurial character in children can be done by providing stimulation through market day activities. It can be said that the implementation of market day activities went well as evidenced by the planning up to the activity evaluation stage. the benefits of implementing market day activities in shaping the character of entrepreneurs bring out the following characters. 1) have a sense of responsibility. 2) recognize self potential. 3) have a sense of responsibility. 4) creative. 5) able to solve problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripskan potensi Keujruen Blang Kabupaten Nagan Raya sebagai salah satu aktor utama dalam pemberdayaan petani. Keujruen Blang, sebagai lembaga adat lokal, memiliki peran penting dalam memfasilitasi, mengkoordinasikan, dan memobilisasi masyarakat petani untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka melalui berbagai program pemberdayaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara bersama pihak terkait. Hasil Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi peran serta Keujruen Blang dalam mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi serta sosial masyarakat petani di Kabupaten Nagan Raya, Penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi berbagai inisiatif dan strategi pemberdayaan petani yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan keberlanjutan pertanian serta strategi kolaboratif yang efektif dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya dan pengetahuan dari setiap stakeholder untuk mencapai tujuan bersama dalam pembangunan pertanian. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memperkuat jaringan kerja sama yang berkelanjutan dan berdaya guna di Kabupaten Nagan Raya, serta mendorong inovasi dan perubahan positif dalam sektor pertanian lokal

Abstract

AbstrakMakanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) adalah makanan atau minuman tambahan selain ASI yang mengandung zat gizi yang diberikan kepada bayi setelah bayi berusia 6 bulan sampai bayi berusia 24 bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian MPASI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan analitik kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian crosssectional, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak yang berusia 6-24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Arga Makmur  yang berjumlah 85 responden, dan analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan persentase responden yang memberikan MPASI secara tepat sebesar 50,5%, sedangkan yang tidak tepat sebesar 49,4%.  Hasil uji Statistik faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pemberian MPASI di dapatkan variabel Pengetahuan Ibu (ρ= 0,951), variabel Budaya/tradisi (ρ= 0,111), variabel Pekerjaan Ibu (ρ= 0,946), dan variabel Pendapatan Orang Tua   (ρ= 0,420). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu, Budaya/tradisi, Pekerjaan Ibu, Pendapatan Orang Tua  dengan pemberian MPASI, maka dari itu disarankan kepada orang tua anak tetap selalu memperhatikan makanan anaknya dan selalu mengikuti kegiatan terkait penyuluhan yang dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan setempat agar pemberian MPASI selalu tepat. Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan Ibu, Budaya/Tradisi, Pekerjaan Ibu, Pendapatan Orang Tua, Pemberian MPASI. AbstractComplementary breast milk food (MP-ASI) is additional food or drink other than breast milk that contains nutrients given to babies after the baby is 6 months old until the baby is 24 months old. This research aims to determine the factors related to giving MPASI. This research uses a quantitative analytical approach method with a cross-sectional research type, the sample in this research is children aged 6-24 months in the working area of the Arga Makmur Health Center, totaling 85 respondents, and data analysis uses univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of this research show that the percentage of respondents who provided MPASI correctly was 50.5%, while those who gave MPASI correctly was 49.4%. The results of statistical tests on factors related to giving MPASI were obtained by the Mother's Knowledge variable (ρ= 0.951), the Culture/tradition variable (ρ= 0.111), the Mother's Occupation variable (ρ= 0.946), and the Parent's Income variable (ρ= 0.420 ). The conclusion of this research is that there is no relationship between mother's knowledge, culture/tradition, mother's job, parent's income and MPASI provision, therefore it is recommended that parents of children always pay attention to their child's food and always take part in activities related to counseling carried out by staff. local health so that MPASI is always given appropriately. Keywords: Mother's Knowledge, Culture/Tradition, Mother's Occupation, Parent's Income, Giving MPASI.

Abstract

The reality in the field is that a person who works as a teacher has not committed to his profession; Just like there are still teachers who teach more than one school, there are still teachers who do additional tasks besides teaching, and so on. This study examines the Improvement of Teacher Professional Commitment Through Strengthening Empowerment, Compensation, and Self-Efficacy (Correlation Study and SITOREM Analysis on Permanent Teachers of Private Junior High Schools (GTY) in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency). This research method is quantitative. The study showed that the research positively influenced empowerment (X1) with teacher innovation. (2) Then, the research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence of compensation on teacher professional commitment; (3) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of self-efficacy on the commitment of the teacher profession; (4) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of empowerment and compensation on teacher professional commitment; (5) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of empowerment and self-efficacy on professional commitment; (6) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of compensation and self-efficacy on teacher professional commitment; and (7) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of empowerment, compensation, and self-efficacy together on teacher professional commitment.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of using English song lyrics from TikTok as a medium to improve students’ pronunciation skills. Employing a quasi-experimental design, the research involved 38 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri Limboro in the 2024/2025 academic year. Participants were divided into two groups: an experimental group received instruction using selected TikTok English song lyrics, while the control group was taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, and student questionnaires. Statistical analysis using SPSS showed a significant improvement in the pronunciation scores of the experimental group compared to the control group. The mean N-Gain score of 58.4% indicates a moderate level of effectiveness. Furthermore, students’ responses to the questionnaire demonstrated positive perceptions toward the use of English songs on TikTok as a learning tool. The findings suggest that integrating digital media, particularly short-form social platforms like TikTok, can enhance pronunciation instruction and motivate learners. This study contributes to the growing field of digital-assisted language learning and provides insights for teachers seeking innovative methods to support pronunciation development in EFL classrooms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul sistem EFI dan mengetahui kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar pada mata pelajaran PMKR kelas XI Jurusan TKR SMK Muhammadiyah Mlati Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau R&D. Desain penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu model 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan diseminasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan lembar angket. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket tertutup yang diajukan kepada ahli materi, ahli media, dan siswa sebagai responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kuantitatif untuk mengetahui persentase kelayakan  modul. Hasil penelitian berupa sebuah modul yang memiliki spesifikasi: (1) Kata Pengantar, (2) Daftar Isi, (3) Daftar Gambar, (4) Peta Kedudukan Modul, (5) Isi, (6) penutup. Pengaturan modul: (1) Ukuran Kertas: A4 70gr, (2) Halaman Sampul: Hardcover, (3) Spasi: 1.5, (4) Margins atas: 4cm, kiri: 4cm, kanan: 3cm, bawah: 3cm. Hasil penelitian terhadap kelayakan modul oleh ahli materi memperoleh rerata skor 4,92 atau 98,32% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil penilaian kelayakan modul oleh ahli media memperoleh rerata skor 3,86 atau 77,24% dengan kategori layak, dan hasil penilaian modul oleh peserta didik memperoleh rerata skor sebesar 3,99 atau 79,97% dengan kategori layak. Sehingga modul  Sistem Bahan Bakar Bensin EFI layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar.
