Abstract

The problem of this research is that there are still many students who have difficulty in reading the Qur'an, seeing this problem the emergence of efforts from PAI teachers on how to overcome difficulties in reading the Qur'an in class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Sawahlunto. This study aims to determine the efforts made by PAI teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading the Qur'an of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 and to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors of PAI teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading the Koran at SMA Negeri 1 Sawahlunto. This type of research is field research and the method used is qualitative research methods. The results of the research are the first, the efforts of PAI teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading the Qur'an, namely 1) peer tutoring, 2) using drill and iqro methods, 3) face to face, 4) coming to the place megaji, 5) holding special hours, 6) tahsin teachers, 7) calling parents. Second, the inhibiting and supporting factors are the existence of internal and external factors, while the supporting factors are from the internet such as YouTube or other applications, radio, and Islamic television which discuss how to read the Qur'an.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values of moral education for children contained in the animated cartoon films of Omar and Hana episodes of “Makan Besar” and “Kasihan Penyu”. The type of research used is library research. The value of moral education contained in the episode is the value of moral education to Allah SWT, for example: being grateful, sincere, and obeying Allah SWT. Morals towards the family for example respecting parents and being devoted to parents. Morals towards the community for example: sharing with other neighbors, helping each other, giving charity. Morals towards the environment: keeping clean and loving animals. The result of this study is expected to be a lesson or benchmark for children and parents to be able to provide good viewing media for their children.

Abstract

Tahfizh Qur’an is the process of memorizing the Qur'an in order to maintain its mulishness and authenticity. This study aims to find out the problems of learning the tahfizh Qur’an and efforts in overcoming them. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews are conducted with the principal, tahfizh teachers, and students. Then the collected data were analyzed by qualitative data analysis techniques. From the results of this study, it was found that: 1) The problems of learning tahfizh Qur’an in junior high schools UNP laboratory development are motivated by three factors, namely factors from students, factors from educators, and factors from schools. 2) The efforts made by the school to solve the problem of tahfizh learning are to provide special guidance, provide motivation to students, restrain students in class, group students based on their abilities, and increase class hours.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how students' obedience in carrying out fardu prayer services, problems with student obedience in carrying out fardu prayers, and the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers on student obedience in carrying out fardu prayer services. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data source was obtained from 25 students of class X IIS 2 at SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Geringging through a research questionnaire and three informants, namely two Islamic religious education teachers and one homeroom teacher from class X IIS 2. Overall, the results of the analysis showed that the adherence of class X IIS 2 students in carrying out fardu prayers at SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Geringging was quite good with a percentage of 64%. Factors that affect the obedience of class X IIS 2 students in carrying out fardu prayer services at SMA Negeri 01 Sungai Geringging include internal and external factors. The problems of student prayers are inadequate facilities and infrastructure for prayer services, lack of understanding of student prayer services, and students' busyness with worldly affairs. The efforts of PAI teachers towards the obedience of class X IIS 2 students in carrying out fardu prayers at sma negeri 01 Sungai Geringging are to provide motivation, provide an Islamic spiritual forum (Rohis), provide value as a form of reward and sanctions and make a schedule for the implementation of congregational prayers in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of congregational prayer and the morals that students appear after praying together. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive research type. Researchers used data collection methods, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. source of data taken through purposive sampling technique with informants namely principals, teachers, and students. data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In this study, it was found that first, the principal had facilitated and supervised the implementation of congregational prayers in schools. Second, PAI teachers have taught theory and practice regarding the implementation of congregational prayers and supervised their implementation. Third, for understanding the congregational prayer material, there are some who already understand and some who do not.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon of teachers who teach the call to prayer in Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran Darussalam, Lumindai Village, Barangin District, Sawahlunto City not yet meeting the qualification standards as competent teachers with the identification that teachers teach only based on personal ability and experience as participants of Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) and also found the fact that the teacher who taught the call to prayer at the Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran Darussalam did not meet the standards of academic qualifications, where his last education was a Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) in Sawahlunto City. This study uses a qualitative field research method. The results of the study show that: 1) The problems faced by teachers in learning the call to prayer in Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran Darussalam, Lumindai Village, Barangin District, Sawahlunto City are divided into two, namely: a) Teacher internal factors such as the lack of teacher skills in pronouncing the call to prayer, and lack of ability of teachers in managing the potential of students; and b) external factors of teachers such as delinquency of students and lack of ability of students; 2) The teacher's way to improve the ability of students in learning the call to prayer at the Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran Darussalam in Lumindai Village is to provide reading books and increase the duration of learning; and 3) The results of the efforts of the Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran teachers in improving the ability of students in learning the call to prayer at the Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran Darussalam in Lumindai Village, Barangin District, Sawahlunto City are quite satisfying with evidence of an increase in aspects of makharijul huruf, orderly in pronouncing the call to prayer, and there were students who were selected to become Lumindai Village caravans in the sub-district MTQ event at the Friday sermon branch and the azan.

Abstract

Islam merupakan agama dakwah yaitu agama yang mengandung nilai-nilai luhur sebagai pedoman dalam kehidupan untuk disampaikan kepada seluruh umat manusia. Tidak hanya terbatas pada kelompok tertentu, golongan tertentu, suku tertentu ataupun bangsa tertentu. Akan tetapi untuk kaffatan linnasi (seluruh umat manusia) kapanpun dan dimanapun. Dakwah Islam berisikan ajakan kepada yang ma’ruf (kebaikan) dan menjauhi segala hal yang munkar (keburukan). Sebab dengan melaksakan kebaikan dalam kehidupan dan menjauhi segala keburukan maka terciptalah kehidupan yang harmoni dan penuh dengan kebahagiaan. Dalam setiap aktivitas dakwah, ada enam hal yang harus diperhatikan dengan baik, agar dakwah yang dilakukan tersebut berhasil dan mendatangkan kebaikan. Enam hal tersebut adalah: dai`, mad`u, pesan dakwah, media dakwah, feedback dakwah dan metode dakwah. Sedangkan tujuan dari sebuah dakwah adalah untuk memperbaiki kehidupan manusia agar bahagia dunia dan akhirat. Kenagarian Harau, Kecamatan Harau, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota yang merupakan wilayah tempat kami melakukan kegiatan pengabdian. Di sana ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat terkait dengan aktifitas dakwah. Diantaranya, Pertama, kurangnya jumlah personel da`i sehingga tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan masyarakat untuk kegiatan da`wiyah. Kedua, kurangnya kompetensi sebagian para da`i sehingga hal-hal atau tradisi lama yang tidak sesuai dengan syara menjadi kebiasaan masyarakat. Ketiga, kurangnya keterampilan da`I dalam beberapa aktivitas keagamaan terutama pada pelaksanaan ibadah shalat Jum`at dan penyelenggaraan jenazah.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the PAI strategy is to improve students' Al-Quran reading skills, including students' Al-Quran reading skills, teacher strategies, supporting and inhibiting factors for teachers, as well as the results of Al-Quran reading strategies. The method used by researchers in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Batangtoru. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and interviews. The findings show that students' ability to read the Koran varies for each individual. As for the teacher's strategy, such as getting used to reading the Koran before PAI learning begins, grouping students, and applying reading and listening to the Koran. The methods used, such as the iqro, amma, sas, qiroati, and tahsin methods. While the supporting factors for the teacher's strategy include the role of the principal, the role of parents, the extracurricular recitations, and the high level of motivation of students in participating in learning the Koran and the inhibiting factors for the teacher's strategy include the lack of books on learning the Koran, the lack of time for PAI learning, and lack of learning media facilities. The results obtained by students after receiving Al-Quran learning were gradually increasing.

Abstract

The background to this research problem is the different understanding between theory and practice in learning Jurisprudence in Class VII MTsN 1 Kota Padang. Therefore innovation is needed in learning, one of which is the use of video media in the learning process so that learning is more varied and enjoyable. This study aims to determine Jurisprudence Learning with Video Media in Class VII MTsN 1 Padang City. This type of research is descriptive research and the method used is qualitative research methods. The results of the research are about Jurisprudence Learning with Video Media in Class VII MTsN 1 Padang City which is going well, Jurisprudence learning with video media is very appropriate because it triggers student enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Learning that teaches about variations in learning and fun learning. Lastly, Jurisprudence learning with video media is synonymous with practical learning or practice that is carried out in everyday life, making it easier for students to understand all Jurisprudence material.

Abstract

Academic Culture is the habituation that can characterize an institution in college; good quality culture ensures the development of proper academic services. Technology advancement that threatens morality and academic culture must be anticipated with spiritually nuanced programs like the Subuh Mubarokahh program. As with any program, evaluation must be carried out. This research aims to evaluate behavior change and the benefits of academic culture activities. This is descriptive quantitative non-associative research, with a questionnaire as the instrument; participants included 43 lecturers and 504 students from Padang State University's Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality. According to the research results, the benefits of improving personal qualities that encourage the quality of faith and pious deeds as a Muslim are very high, and the development of a quality academic culture of kriya, ruhiyah, and badaniyah from personal lecturers and students. The program evaluation recommends that the Subuh mubarokah always be carried out by developing studies that align with the needs of lecturers and students to ensure the program's benefits in the realization of an academic culture that becomes the self-image of a quality institution.
