Abstract

This study aims to investigate students’ learning motivation through dance performances in Grade V at SD Negeri 107417 Sei Merah. The background of this research is the low learning motivation among students, indicated by a lack of participation and enthusiasm during lessons, especially in dance classes. This study employed a descriptive quantitative method using purposive sampling. The sample consisted of 1 teacher and 12 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and a questionnaire consisting of 20 statement items. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques in the form of percentages. The results showed that students’ learning motivation was categorized as "very good" with an average overall score of 84.58%. This reflects that dance performances can enhance students' enthusiasm, self-confidence, cooperation, and perseverance in the learning process. The teacher also noted positive changes in students’ discipline and social interactions after participating in dance activities. Thus, it can be concluded that dance performances contribute positively to improving the learning motivation of Grade V students at SD Negeri 10741 7 Sei Merah and can serve as an effective and enjoyable learning method.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Smartbox learning media on students' Mathematics learning outcomes on fraction material in class V SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class V SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely class V-B consisting of 20 students as experimental class 1 and class V-A consisting of 20 students as experimental class 2. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests, observations, and documentation. The instruments in this study used tests in the form of pretests and posttests that had gone through a series of tests, namely validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level tests, discriminatory power tests and question distractors to ensure the quality of the questions. The data analysis technique was carried out through several stages, namely, normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the analysis showed that the average posttest score of experimental class 1 was 84.3 with a learning completion of 95%, while experimental class 2 had an average of 78.3 with a completion of 80%. The results of the hypothesis test calculation using the Independent Sample T-Test showed a significance value of 0.043 <0.05, with the acquisition of t-count (2.091)> t-table (2.024) so ​​that it states that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of Smartbox learning media on learning outcomes in fraction material in class V SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in music subjects through the use of recycled instrument media. The research employed an experimental method with a One Group Pretest–Posttest design. The population consisted of 33 fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 107415 Tanjung Sari, all of whom were selected as the research sample. The research instrument was a performance skill test assessing aspects of beat and tempo accuracy, rhythmic pattern consistency, playing technique, and students’ self-confidence. The instrument had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and the Paired Sample t-Test for hypothesis testing. The results showed that the mean pretest score was 43.56 (low category), while the mean posttest score increased to 76.14 (good category). The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed, and the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of recycled instrument media is effective in improving students’ psychomotor learning outcomes in rhythmic pattern material. This study provides empirical evidence that the implementation of innovative and contextual learning media can significantly enhance students’ skills and understanding. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Canva serta mengetahui tingkat validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas penggunaannya pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi kosakata siswa kelas II A SDN 064007 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas II A SDN 064007 Medan, sedangkan objek penelitian berupa media pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan Canva. Tes pendahuluan dan tes akhir yang mengukur hasil belajar, kuesioner tanggapan guru dan siswa, validasi kuesioner oleh ahli, Wawancara termasuk di antara teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menjamin kelayakan, kegunaan, dan efektivitas media. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sumber daya pendidikan interaktif, termasuk didukung oleh Canva, dinilai sangat valid oleh para profesional pendidikan, spesialis media, dan pakar bidang studi. Media yang dikembangkan juga tergolong sangat praktis, ditunjukkan oleh respon positif Para pengajar dan peserta didik di sepanjang proses pendidikan. Skor pretest rata-rata meningkat dari 44,78 menjadi 86,74 pada posttest, menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar, menurut uji efektivitas. Selain itu, tingkat penyelesaian pembelajaran meningkat dari 21,7% menjadi 95,65%, dan Kisaran tinggi tersebut diwakili oleh skor N-Gain rata-rata sebesar 0,72. Hasilnya, sumber belajar interaktif yang didukung Canva efektif dan cocok untuk meningkatkan tingkat keterampilan siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning on the topic of changes in the states of matter in elementary schools requires teaching materials that can help students understand concepts clearly and in an engaging way. However, based on the results of observations at SD Swasta Pelangi Medan, the teaching materials used are still limited to textbooks and Student Worksheets (LKPD), so the presentation of the material is less interesting and is not supported by varied learning media. In addition, limited facilities such as the unavailability of projectors cause the use of technology-based teaching materials to not be implemented optimally. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Canva-based Science Mini Book teaching materials on the topic of changes in the states of matter in grade IV of SD Swasta Pelangi Medan. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were 20 fourth-grade students of SD Swasta Pelangi Medan. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The results showed that the Science Mini Book teaching material obtained a validation percentage of 86% from media experts, 90% from material experts, 96% from education practitioners, and a student response percentage of 97.4%, with an overall average of 92.35% which is categorized as very feasible. Therefore, the Canva-based Science Mini Book teaching material is declared valid, practical, and effective so that it is feasible to be used in IPAS learning on the topic of changes in the states of matter in grade IV of elementary school.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E(Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) berbantuan media Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN104607 Sei Rotan pada mata pelajaran IPAS, khususnya materi Bab 8 Bumiku Sayang, Bumiku Malang dengan topik ABumi Berubah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasiexperimental design) dalam bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi sekaligus sampel dalam penelitian iniadalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 40 orang, yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu 20 siswa kelas V Bsebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 20 siswa kelas V C sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yangdigunakan meliputi tes, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Instrumen tes berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20butir yang telah melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya beda. Analisis data dilakukan melalui ujiprasyarat yang meliputi uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan linieritas, serta dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis menggunakanuji-t untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilaisignifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dankelompok kontrol. Selain itu, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelompok eksperimen (85,50) lebih tinggi dibandingkankelompok kontrol (74,75). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle5E berbantuan Wordwall memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajarsiswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS.
