Abstract

Vaginal delivery is often accompanied by anatomical changes in the perineum, one of which is perineal laceration, experienced by approximately 85% of women who give birth spontaneously. This laceration can affect the mother's recovery and quality of life during the postpartum period. Perineal massage can help prevent tears by increasing the elasticity of perineal tissue, preparing it for stretching during childbirth, and reducing the risk of tears. This study aims to provide comprehensive care using perineal massage techniques from pregnancy to prevent perineal lacerations. The method used is descriptive with a case study approach, data collection through interviews and physical examinations. The study subject was Mrs. "Y" G3P2A0, who received perineal massage from 36 weeks of pregnancy until childbirth. The results showed that perineal elasticity improved from the rigid category to the elastic category after regular perineal massage for 4 weeks prior to childbirth, with a frequency of 5 times per week. During childbirth, a contraction timer was used to monitor progress. During the postpartum period, mothers complained of sore nipples and were given breastfeeding techniques. Perineal massage had a significant effect in preventing perineal lacerations with a frequency of 5 times a week for 4 weeks before delivery. Perineal massage increased tissue elasticity, improved blood circulation, and trained relaxation during labor. Success is supported by the mother's compliance and proper massage technique. This care is expected to be applied to pregnant women up to the postpartum period.

Abstract

Hypertension is a health problem with high prevalence and risk of causing cardiovascular complications. Pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata), rich in potassium and fiber, has the potential to be a non-pharmacological alternative to lower blood pressure. Objective: To increase public knowledge about hypertension and the use of pumpkin as a healthy food. Method: The community service was carried out on February 27, 2025, in Lorong Langgar RT 007/RW 002, 16 Ulu Village, Palembang, attended by 22 residents with hypertension, with the assistance of 10 nursing students. Activities included lectures, discussions, questions and answers, distribution of leaflets, and practice of making gabin bread from pumpkin. Evaluation was carried out with a pre-test and a post-test. Results: Participants' understanding increased significantly from 40% to 80% (average score of 6.5 increased to 12.6). Participants' enthusiasm was high during the discussion and practice. Conclusion: Health education through a combination of lectures, discussions, and pumpkin processing practices effectively increases public understanding of hypertension and its prevention, and can be developed as a promotive-preventive strategy in the community.

Abstract

The West Sumatra - Riau toll road is expected to generate a favourable influence on the local economy, thereby enhancing the overall wellbeing of society. However, this progress does not eliminate some of the potential negative impacts, because the construction of toll roads will divert some of the public's transportation movements, thereby posing a threat to business activities along the diverted transportation routes. To anticipate these potential impacts, it is important to conduct a study that focuses on anticipating the potential socio-economic impacts of the construction of the West Sumatra – Riau toll road. A Focus Group Discussion was conducted with delegates from several Payakumbuh Municipal Government. A total of nineteen participants, comprising ten males and nine females, participated in the focus group discussion. The discussion remarks were methodically categorised and analysed. The study findings elucidate many potential ramifications of the construction of the West Sumatra - Riau toll road on Payakumbuh City, as well as proposed measures that might be implemented to mitigate these ramifications. The research findings can serve as a foundation for developing a regional development strategy for Payakumbuh City. The objective is to optimise the effects of toll road construction on the social and economic well-being of the community, ensuring equitable and balanced outcomes.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed the marketing landscape, encouraging organizations to adopt adaptive, data-driven strategies. Digital marketing today not only enhances visibility and consumer interaction but also leverages predictive analytics to forecast behavior, preferences, and market trends. This article analyzes the transformation of marketing strategies through the integration of digital marketing and predictive analytics, as well as its implications for campaign effectiveness and business decision-making. The study employs a literature review approach, drawing on recent sources from accredited international and national journals. Findings indicate that predictive analytics improves market segmentation accuracy, content personalization, and promotional budget efficiency. This integration enables proactive, evidence-based marketing strategies that strengthen organizational competitiveness. Practical recommendations include strengthening data infrastructure, enhancing human resource analytical competencies, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Abstract

Financial literacy is one of the six basic literacies agreed upon at the World Economic Forum, financial literacy must be taught and possessed by children, not only elementary school students (equivalent) in urban areas but also very much needed by elementary school students (equivalent) in rural areas, namely Muara Penimbung Ulu Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, with knowledge of financial literacy from an early age, it is hoped that it can help students in practicing managing their finances appropriately and usefully. If children already have and are able to apply financial literacy well from an early age, various aspects of their lives will be better in the future. Five basic principles are learned in financial literacy, namely business or work, shopping or consumption, saving, sharing, and borrowing. These materials and activities consist of: Types of financial literacy extracurricular activities, implementation of good practices of financial literacy extracurricular activities, and evaluation of the process of implementing financial literacy extracurricular activities. The target audience for this community service activity is elementary school teachers and students (equivalent) in Muara Penimbung Ulu Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The community service implementation method uses lectures, illustrations, and discussions.

Abstract

The role of nurses in health services, especially in hospitals is very important, considering the quality of nursing services affects the totality of services provided. The phenomenon that is often found is that nurses spend their time doing work outside of nursing that is not their responsibility. The survey results show that 50.9% of nurses in West Java experience work stress. The purpose of this study was to describe the workload of nurses in the Hemodialysis Room at Santosa Hospital, Bandung Central. This research was a descriptive study. The subjects of this study were 21 nurses in the hemodialysis room at Santosa Hospital Central, who were selected using the total population sampling technique. Data was collected through filling out questionnaires and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that most of the workload of nurses was in the light category, with the percentage of productive time being 47.6%.Keywords: nurse workload; hemodialysis room; work stress ABSTRAK Peran perawat dalam pelayanan kesehatan khususnya di rumah sakit adalah sangat penting, mengingat kualitas pelayanan keperawatan berpengaruh terhadap totalitas layanan yang diberikan. Fenomena yang terjadi sering ditemukan adalah perawat menghabiskan waktunya untuk melakukan pekerjaan di luar keperawatan yang bukan menjadi tanggung jawabnya. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa 50,9% perawat di Jawa Barat mengalami stres kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran beban kerja perawat di Ruang Hemodialisa Santosa Hospital Bandung Central. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 21 perawat di ruang hemodialisis di Santosa Hospital Central, yang dipilih dengan teknik total population sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar beban kerja perawat adalah dalam kategori ringan, dengan persentase penggunaan waktu produktif adalah 47,6%.Kata kunci: beban kerja perawat; ruang hemodialisis; stres kerja

Abstract

Most of the maternal deaths in 2020 are caused by bleeding, hypertension in pregnancy and disorders of the circulatory system. The incidence of these complications can be caused by a lack of knowledge of mothers about the danger signs of pregnancy. The method that can be used to increase mother's knowledge is snow ball health promotion. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health promotion using the snow ball method on increasing pregnant women's knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy. The research design was one group pretest posttest. The research subjects were 26 pregnant women selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Marginal Homogeneity test. The results showed that knowledge before being given the Snow ball method was 92.3% in the less category; whereas after being given the Snow ball method was 46.1% in the sufficient category and 15.4% in the good category; and there was an influence of the Snow ball method on the knowledge of respondents with a p value of 0.013.Keywords: snowball; knowledge; danger sign of pregnancyABSTRAK Sebagian besar kematian ibu pada tahun 2020 disebabkan oleh perdarahan, hipertensi dalam kehamilan dan gangguan sistem peredaran darah. Kejadian komplikasi tersebut salah satunya dapat disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan ibu terhadap tanda bahaya kehamilan. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu adalah promosi kesehatan snow ball. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi kesehatan dengan metode snow ball terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang tanda bahaya kehamilan. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah one group pretest postest. Subyek penelitian adalah 26 ibu hamil yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Marginal Homogeneity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan sebelum diberikan metode Snow ball adalah 92,3% dalam kategori kurang; sedangkan setelah diberikan metode Snow ball adalah 46,1% dalam kategori cukup dan 15,4% dalam kategori baik; serta terdapat pengaruh metode Snow ball terhadap pengetahuan responden dengan nilai p 0,013.Kata kunci: snow ball; pengetahuan; tanda bahaya kehamilan

Abstract

Hypertension is a health problem that is quite high for most of the world's population, including Indonesia. Therefore, there is a need for self-management education efforts to increase the application of healthy behavior and adherence to the hypertension diet. This study aims to determine the effect of self-management education using booklet media on dietary adherence in hypertension sufferers. This study used a one group pretest-posttest design, which involved 16 hypertensive patients selected by accidental sampling technique. After collecting data on dietary adherence before and after the intervention, data analysis was then performed using the Mc. Nemar test. The results of the analysis showed a p-value of 0.001, so it was interpreted that there were differences in adherence to the hypertension diet between before and after giving self-management education. It was concluded that self-management education is effective for increasing dietary adherence in hypertensive patients.Keywords: hypertension; self management; dietary adherence ABSTRAK Hipertensi menjadi suatu masalah kesehatan yang cukup tinggi bagi sebagian besar penduduk dunia termasuk Indonesia. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya upaya edukasi self management untuk meningkatkan penerapan perilaku sehat dan patuh terhadap diet hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi self management dengan media booklet terhadap kepatuhan diet penderita hipertensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan one group pretest-posttest, yang melibatkan 16 penderita hipertensi yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Setelah terkumpul data tentang kepatuhan diet sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data menggunakan uji Mc. Nemar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai p = 0,001, sehingga diinterpretasikan bahwa ada perbedaan kepatuhan diet hipertensi antara sebelum dan sesudah pemberian edukasi self management. Disimpulkan bahwa edukasi self management efektif untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan diet penderita hipertensi.Kata kunci: hipertensi; self management; kepatuhan diet

Abstract

Dental caries in children ranks first as a chronic disease in school-age children. So research is needed that aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge about oral health and the incidence of dental caries in children. The research design was cross-sectional. This research involved 72 students of SDN Linggabudi who were selected by total population sampling technique. Knowledge about dental and oral health and the incidence of caries was measured using a questionnaire which was distributed online via the Whatsapp group. The collected data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test. The results showed that 55.6% of students had a level of knowledge in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, 83.3% of students experienced dental caries. The results of the hypothesis test showed a value of p = 0.035. It was concluded that there was a significant relationship between knowledge about oral health and the incidence of dental caries.Keywords: dental caries; child; knowledgeABSTRAK Karies gigi pada anak menduduki urutan pertama sebagai penyakit kronis pada anak usia sekolah. Maka diperlukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan kejadian karies gigi pada anak. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 72 siswa SDN Linggabudi yang dipilih dengan teknik total population sampling. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Regional Original Income, General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds and Revenue Sharing Funds on Regency/City Regional Expenditures in Central Java Province in 2016-2020. The research method used is quantitative, using secondary data types, then data is collected and processed using the SPSS 22 application. The population and samples used in this study are Regency/City budget realization reports for a 5-year period (2016-2020). This study uses descriptive statistical data analysis, while the unit of analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Regional Original Income, General Allocation Funds, Special Allocation Funds and Revenue Sharing Funds had a positive effect on Regional Expenditures in Central Java Province in 2016-2020.
