Abstract

Abstract. PPATS becomes incompetent in making all forms of real deeds compared to Notaries or PPATs who obtain their positions through legal education and internships at the BPN office or at PPAT, so that the position of Notaries and PPATs is better than PPATS, so a legal formulation is needed that can regulate the limits of PPATS's authority in carrying out duties as PPAT. The research discussion includes two things, firstly how to register deeds (transfer of land rights) registered by Temporary Land Deed Making Officers in accordance with the provisions of PP Number 24 of 1997 concerning Land Registration and how is the concept of legal formulation regulating the registration of land deeds registered by Temporary Land Deed Making Officers in the future. This study aims to analyze the registration of land transfer deeds registered by Temporary Land Deed Making Officers in accordance with the provisions of PP Number 24 of 1997 concerning Land Registration. To find the right legal formulation for Temporary Land Deed Makers (PPATS) in the future. Approach Method used by the researcher in this thesis The type of research used by the author in this thesis is normative legal research. The types and sources of data used are primary, secondary, and tertiary data sources. The data collection method is a literature study, the research data analysis method carried out by the author is prescriptive. The results of the research and discussion show that: First, the PP on Land Registration does not regulate the authority of Temporary PPAT to register land transfer deeds while the authority of Temporary PPAT is obtained from the PP on PPAT Position which gives authority to Temporary PPAT to act as PPAT. Second, PPAT in Indonesia as a whole has begun to emerge and even in some areas the quota for PPAT is full, so there is no need to worry if PPATS is abolished in the legal regulations in Indonesia because with the large number of PPATs spread across various provinces in Indonesia, it would be better to optimize the distribution of the number of PPATs in 33 provinces in Indonesia by limiting PPATs to choose their legal work area and giving authority to BPN to regulate the distribution of PPATs in areas where there are no PPATs yet.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of cooperation between teachers and parents in improving children's responsibility in memorising the Qur'an at PKBM Liwaul Hamdi. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that the active roles of teachers and parents are crucial in supporting children in memorising the Qur'an. Positive attitudes, exemplary behaviour, and integrity on the part of teachers and parents are key factors in fostering children's sense of responsibility towards their memorisation. Additionally, intensive communication and the ability to manage emotions in supervising children constitute effective forms of collaboration. This study emphasises that collaboration between teachers and parents not only impacts children's memorisation success but also shapes their character and religious attitudes. Therefore, this synergistic relationship needs to be consistently nurtured in various educational institutions as part of a character education strategy based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of using folklore in improving the reading comprehension skills of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 19 Palu. The research employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-test – post-test model. A total of 23 students were selected through a cluster random sampling technique. The data were collected through a reading comprehension test, administered before and after the treatment. The treatment involved teaching reading comprehension through selected Indonesian folktales, including "The Legend of Malin Kundang," "Cinderella," and "Tadulako Bulili." The data were analysed statistically using descriptive analysis and a paired-sample t-test with SPSS version 24. The findings showed an increase in the students' mean scores from 61.85 on the pre-test to 68.15 on the post-test. The significance value of 0.032 (< 0.05) indicated a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. Therefore, it can be concluded that using folklore as a learning medium effectively enhances students' reading comprehension, particularly in understanding narrative texts. Moreover, folklore can serve as an engaging and culturally relevant resource to foster students' motivation and interest in learning the English language.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of aristocratic traditions on leadership and public service bureaucratic practices in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi, and examines the forms of cultural resistance that hinder the implementation of the New Public Service (NPS) ethos. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically using a Weberian theoretical framework and the NPS paradigm. The results show that aristocratic traditions are not merely a cultural identity but also a source of political and administrative legitimacy that shapes paternalistic leadership styles and reinforces patron-client patterns within the bureaucracy. In public service practices, formal procedures such as SOPs and digital systems often experience decoupling from informal mechanisms that still emphasize personal closeness and status symbols. This cultural resistance creates a paradox: the bureaucracy appears institutionally modern, but its practices remain patrimonial. This study emphasizes that bureaucratic reform in regions with a noble heritage must consider the local cultural context, by reinterpreting aristocratic values as social capital to support participatory, inclusive, and egalitarian public services. These findings provide theoretical contributions to contextual public administration studies as well as practical implications for bureaucratic reform strategies in similar areas.

Abstract

Reading comprehension is a fundamental skill in English learning, yet many students still face difficulties in understanding texts effectively. This gap between theory and classroom practice calls for more effective teaching strategies. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Guided Reading Strategy (GRS) in improving the reading comprehension of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri Model Terpadu Madani. Using a quasi-experimental design, the research involved an experimental and a control group. Data were obtained through pre-tests and post-tests and analyzed using SPSS version 27 with Levene’s Test, Shapiro–Wilk Test, and the Mann–Whitney U Test. The findings revealed that the mean post-test score of the experimental group (78.31) was approximately 20% higher than that of the control group (65.06), indicating a significant improvement in students’ reading comprehension. Therefore, the Guided Reading Strategy effectively enhanced students’ ability to comprehend definition exposition texts.

Abstract

The proofing process is an essential step in bread-making, where the dough is allowed to rest for the gas content to develop and form a soft structure. However, many small-scale bread producers still rely on manual methods for proofing, leading to unstable temperature and humidity levels and longer production times. This study focuses on developing an electrical system for a bread proofer that can stabilize temperature and humidity during the proofing process. The system includes an Arduino Mega microcontroller with a DHT22 sensor for real-time temperature and humidity detection, an I2C LCD for monitoring, and a potentiometer for setting the desired temperature and humidity values. To achieve stability, a PID control system is used. The results show that the system can stabilize at a temperature of 40.10oC and humidity at 80-90RH for approximately 38.4 minutes. This electrical system offers an effective solution for optimizing the proofing process in bread production.
