Abstract

The onion cracker home industry founded by Mrs. Kusnawiyah in 1992 needs attention from the local village government. Even though it is able to survive amidst intense competition, the processed food and snack industry seems to be going nowhere. So far, this home industry only serves a limited number of orders. Marketing of onion crackers which only relies on word of mouth promotion and rudimentary packaging is felt to be less capable of reaching a wider range of consumers. The Daliwangun Village Government is collaborating with the Ahmad Dahlan Lamongan Institute of Technology and Business to develop the Onion Crackers Home Industry. This service begins with data collection carried out by interviews with related parties. The results of the interviews were used to find the right solution regarding the problems faced by the Daliwangun Onion Crackers Home Industry. Some of the activities carried out to increase the marketing of onion crackers are as follows: 1) Training on product sales strategies through online media, 2) Making more attractive packaging and 3) Using Facebook as an online promotional media. This activity was proven to be able to increase the sales volume of Daliwangun Onion Crackers.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: ITERA, Drainase, Debit, HEC-RAS  Abstract As a new campus, the infrastructure development of the Sumatera Institute of Technology (ITERA) in all sectors continues to support the learning process, however it has an impact on changes in land use so that water absorption capacity is decreasing and surface runoff is increasing, so it is necessary to carry out drainage planning that is integrated wit development. Drainage planning includes analysis of rainfall, field measurements and calculation of channel dimensions as well as simulations on the HECRAS. The aljabar method is used for the analysis of regional rainfall with a pearson III log distribution. The dimensions of the channel are square with widht of 0,56 m and height of 0,73 m. the channel discharge is 0,53 m3/s using the rational method. While total cost of drainage planning along the 1282,1 m is Rp 1.107.523.000, (one billion one hundred seven milion five hundred twenty three thousand rupiah). With the construction of the drainage is expected to be able to drain the surface runoff that occurs. Keywords: ITERA, Drainage, Discharge, HEC-RAS

Abstract

Kata kunci: Limpasan, HEC-RAS, Sungai, Embung,, Abstract Flooding caused by river runoff in densely populated and industrial areas becomes a recurring problem if only minor anticipation is carried out when a disaster occurs. Based on observations, the conversion of catchment areas to housing and industry is the starting point for runoff due to soil saturation and disturbed runoff coefficients. The paradigm of channeling water from sub-channels to large channels is a problem that has become a habit and is implemented to this day. Based on these problems, this research aims to analyze the runoff that occurs in the Way Kuripan River with a return period design of 25 years using HEC-RAS 5.0.7 software. The function of the river as a water distributor must be accompanied by a water catchment area, making the river a reservoir, absorber, diverter, and maintainer of water. Creating a reservoir, absorption, diverter, and maintenance water is carried out by reforesting the upstream and downstream areas of rivers and water storage areas (retention basins). Keywords: Runoff, HEC-RAS, River,Retention basin,

Abstract

Pematang Kapau is one of the villages in the Kulim District of Pekanbaru City, which experienced rapid population growth and urban development as a result of the Pekanbaru City Government's policy of moving the Pekanbaru City Government Center to Kulim District. Rapid development without being supported by adequate infrastructure will have a negative impact on urban areas. One of the things needed is educational facilities. Therefore, this activity helps the community, especially the Darunnur foundation in planning and designing educational facilities through Darunnur Mosque Foundation’s Integrated Islamic Elementary School Building Planning Assistance Program with a Contextual Architectural Approach. Contextual Architecture is a planning and design approach that considers the environment, culture, community character, history, so that the designed building has the characteristics of the form, as well as the quality of the building and the environment. The method used is descriptive qualitative, where the researcher is placed as the key instrument by combining field data with inductive analysis. This activity uses observation, discussion and design analysis methods. The results of this activity obtained the design of the Darunnur Mosque Foundation's Integrated Islamic Elementary School Building with a Contextual Architectural Approach.

Abstract

Traditional Indonesian architecture showcases a unique local identity and is a treasure in the cultural heritage of Indonesia. One of the distinctive architectural styles in Indonesia is Malay architecture, which exhibits diverse typologies when compared to several other architectural works in the country. This article aims to identify the characteristics and typology of Lontiok houses in Malay architecture to ensure the preservation and conservation of Lontiok Malay houses. The method employed in this research is qualitative, using a case study approach. The findings of this research reveal that the typology of spatial arrangement in Lontiok houses consists of a front porch, bedroom, middle porch, back porch, front stairs, and back stairs. The typology of the structure and construction of Lontiok houses includes a lontiok-shaped roof, a ridge beam with a "drinking elephant" profile oriented parallel to the road, a single eave without ornamentation, 22 pillars, doors comprising front, side, and back doors, windows with 2 leaves, odd stairs consisting of 5 steps, an attic for storage, wooden floors, walls made of tongue and groove wood, and a foundation of umpak stones. Moreover, the Lontiok houses in this research exhibit a variety of decorations with Malay floral motifs found on doors, windows, ventilation openings, foundation pillars, inner walls, and water storage jars.

Abstract

The Pujasera Fishing Pond Revitalization Program through Festival Activities (P-FEST) is a strategic step in combating the serious challenges faced by village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in Sumberpakem Village. Lack of innovation and marketing strategies, limited managerial skills among BUMDes member farmers, and declining demand for fish products are the main focus. Collaborative KKN students, collaborating with BUMDes administrators, collect data through surveys and interviews. P-FEST events, including batik educational tourism, collage competitions, cooking competitions, and MSME bazaars, involve elementary and middle school students in an effort to preserve batik crafts and develop the creativity of the younger generation. The service activity method uses the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The results include increased community participation and understanding, revitalization of the food court pool, as well as social and economic strengthening of Sumberpakem Village. This program aims to revive BUMDes businesses, revive the village economy, and introduce superior village products through collaborative activities involving the entire community. The P-FEST program and ABCD method encourage community independence in managing local resources to improve village welfare.
