Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan variabel tunggal, yaitu Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (Project Based Learning/PjBL) yang melibatkan tujuh dimensi atau sub-variabel yang terdiri atas: (1) interaksi mahasiswa dan dosen, (2) motivasi atau minat belajar mahasiswa, (3) kompetensi pemahaman materi kuliah, (4) berpikir kritis, (5) kompetensi manajemen waktu, (6) kesesuaian model pembelajaran dengan karakteristik mata kuliah, dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa tentang penerapan model PjBL pada mata kuliah Manajemen Proyek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 54 mahasiswa sebagai responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diuji validitasnya berdasarkan pendekatan logik dan empirik. Reliabilitas kuesioner diuji berdasarkan teknik koefisien Cronbach’s Alpha dengan hasil sebesar 0.953. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif berdasarkan pendekatan statistik dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 22.0. Hasil penelitian menemukan: (1) persepsi mahasiswa tentang interaksi mahasiswa dan dosen terkategori sangat baik dengan rerata skor 16.4259 (82.13%), (2) persepsi mahasiswa tentang motivasi atau minat belajar mahasiswa terkategori tinggi dengan rerata skor 12.0741 (75.46%), (3) persepsi mahasiswa tentang kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami materi kuliah terkategori sangat baik dengan rerata skor 16.8333 (84.17%), (4) persepsi mahasiswa tentang kemampuan berpikir kritis terkategori sangat baik dengan rerata skor 16.8333 (84.07%), (5) persepsi mahasiswa tentang kemampuan mahasiswa dalam manajemen waktu terkategori sangat baik dengan rerata skor 9.9074 (82.56%), (6) persepsi mahasiswa tentang kesesuaian model PjBL dengan karakteristik mata kuliah terkategori sangat baik dengan rerata skor 16.4630 (82.32%), dan (7) hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam penerapan model PjBL terkategori sangat baik dengan rerata skor 10.1667 (84.72%). Secara umum, berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa berdasarkan persepsi mahasiswa model PjBL dinyatakan berhasil dalam penyelenggaraan proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Manajemen Proyek dengan hasil belajar yang sangat baik.

Abstract

Leadership in an organization is the ability to deal with certain situations efficiently and effectively in influencing and controlling others in a way that leads to the achievement of organizational goals. Leadership in educational institutions, especially vocational secondary education, must be able to promote and stimulate creativity and prepare a cadre of quality teachers and students who can carry out intellectual production characterized by novelty and diversity, which can fully contribute to society. This has not been reflected in leadership practices in the vocational secondary education environment in West Kalimantan Province, which is indicated by differences in views so that some school principals implement leadership competencies with high professionalism, while others demonstrate weak leadership practices. Among these practices are a weak ability to build teams and collaborate, a weak ability to communicate, a weak ability to adapt, and a weak ability to motivate. This can be expected to be the result of the Principal being too focused on routine school work, including administrative tasks. This situation prompted research to be conducted to obtain theoretical and practical information about the leadership competency model applied in vocational secondary education institutions in West Kalimantan Province. The research was carried out using the path analysis method involving 55 respondents. The research results show that the leadership competency model in vocational secondary education institutions in West Kalimantan Province involves four main elements consisting of the ability to build teams and collaborate, the ability to communicate, the ability to adapt, and the ability to motivate. Communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to motivate simultaneously contribute 43.5% to the ability to build teams and collaborate. Other results from this research found that communication skills have a positive effect on the ability to build teams and collaborate with the Sig value. < 0.05. The implication of the results of this research is the need to increase the effectiveness of the communication skills of leaders in the vocational secondary education environment in West Kalimantan Province. Another implication of the results of this research is the need for further research to be carried out in the future to find other variables that were not examined in this research.

Abstract

Abstract  This article aims to explore the role of talent management strategies in improving employee performance. This study uses a systematic literature review (SLR) approach to explore the concept of talent management strategy and employee engagement in the context of human resource science. Thematic analysis was conducted to synthesize the findings of the publications reviewed regarding talent management strategies and their implementation related to employee engagement. Talent model can be built with two main variables, namely talent management mindset and talent management strategy. Both of these variables can affect talent management practices. Talent management strategy and generational group preferences have a strong correlation. Meanwhile, the organizational environment that influences the adoption and integration of a healthy talent management strategy. Important factors in the integration of talent management strategy is the formation of a healthy talent-wellness organizational culture. The concept of talent management strategy and employee has been studied in human resource management research and practice. This study offers new insight and management practice from the concept of talent management strategy in the psychological interaction of employees in the work environment.
