Abstract

This study identifies the types of locally cultivated food crops of the Mandar people in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi. The Mandar people possess local agricultural wisdom passed down through generations, playing a vital role in food security and cultural identity. However, agricultural modernization threatens the sustainability of local plant practices and diversity, making documentation crucial for knowledge preservation and food security. Ethnobotanical methods were used through field surveys, participant observation, and in-depth interviews with farmers and community leaders. Taxonomic identification and confirmation were conducted using https://identify.plantnet.org/id; https://www.plantamor.com/. Data included local names in the Mandar language, cultivation techniques, planting patterns, seasons, and local uses. The results show that the Mandar people maintain various types of food crops, including local rice, local corn, tubers, vegetables, nuts, and local fruits. Each plant has a specific local name reflecting its characteristics. The cultivation system implements polyculture and sustainable crop rotation, with in-depth knowledge of seed selection, organic land management, and natural pest control. The Mandar people still maintain food crop diversity through a sustainable and adaptive cultivation system. This local knowledge is a valuable asset for food security and agrobiodiversity that needs to be documented, revitalized, and integrated with modern agriculture.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) study aims to improve students' long serve skills in badminton for Grade VIII students at SMPN 2 Palu. The problem identified was the low mastery of long serve skills, with only 27% of students meeting the minimum competency criteria in the pre-cycle assessment. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. In Cycle I, 70% of students achieved mastery, though 30% did not meet the required standards. After improvements were made in Cycle II, including enhanced visual demonstrations and immediate feedback, significant progress was observed, with 94% of the 33 students achieving mastery. These findings suggest that the demonstration method effectively improves students' long serve skills in badminton by offering clear visual understanding and structured practice opportunities.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of digital financial literacy and digital payments usage on saving behavior among Generation Z. In the digital era, financial transactions have increasingly shifted toward cashless systems, raising concerns about how digital financial environments shape financial decision-making and saving habits among young individuals. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 186 Generation Z respondents who actively use digital payment services. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the direct and moderating relationships among variables. The results indicate that digital financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on saving behavior. Digital payments usage also shows a positive influence on saving behavior. Furthermore, digital financial literacy significantly strengthens the relationship between digital payments usage and saving behavior, suggesting that financially literate individuals are better able to utilize digital payment platforms to support financial discipline rather than impulsive spending. These findings highlight the importance of integrating digital financial literacy into financial education programs to ensure that increased access to digital financial services contributes to improved financial resilience among Generation Z. The study provides practical implications for policymakers, educators, and financial institutions in promoting sustainable financial behavior in the digital economy

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the Core Tax Administration System (Coretax) on public financial performance in Indonesia. As part of Indonesia’s broader fiscal reform agenda, Coretax was introduced to modernize tax administration through system integration, digital automation, and enhanced compliance monitoring. Drawing on fiscal capacity theory and digital transformation frameworks, this research investigates whether the implementation of Coretax contributes to improvements in revenue mobilization, revenue effectiveness, and administrative efficiency. Using a quantitative explanatory design, the study analyzes secondary time-series data on tax revenue, cost of collection ratios, and revenue effectiveness indicators before and after system implementation. Regression analysis and difference-in-means testing are employed to assess the statistical significance of the reform’s impact. The findings indicate that Coretax implementation is positively and significantly associated with higher tax revenue realization, improved revenue effectiveness ratios, and reduced administrative cost ratios. Although minor transitional volatility is observed during the early phase of implementation, the overall results suggest that digital tax administration reform strengthens fiscal capacity and enhances public financial performance. This study contributes to the literature on public sector management and revenue administration reform by providing macro-level empirical evidence from an emerging economy context. The findings offer policy implications for governments seeking to improve fiscal sustainability through digital transformation in tax administration.

Abstract

In an increasingly competitive business world, companies are required to innovate in order to maintain a competitive advantage. This article aims to analyze the comparison between Red Ocean and Blue Ocean strategies in creating competitive advantage. The research method used is a literature review, by collecting and analyzing related literature from various sources, including scientific journals and research reports. The results of the study indicate that the the Red Ocean Strategy focuses on competition in existing markets, encouraging companies to increase efficiency and product differentiation, but often traps them in price wars. In contrast, Blue Ocean Strategy offers an innovative approach by creating new market space that reduces the intensity of competition, allowing companies to build advantages that are difficult to imitate. Understanding these two strategies is important for determining strategic directions that are in accordance with dynamic market conditions.
