Abstract

Principal managerial competence is one of the competencies possessed and implemented by the Principal in designing, compiling and implementing administrative plans and educational activities within a predetermined time period. There is a task carried out by the Principal so that all components run according to a predetermined plan and achieve mutually agreed goals. This research aims to describe the influence of the Principal’s managerial competence on the performance of educators at the primary school level. The research method used is an ex post facto research method with a correlation design. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. The sample for this research was 15 school Principals and 30 Teacher at the primary school level in the Mojotengah subdistrict, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. The results of this research reveal that the Adjusted R Square (Coefficient of Determination) value was 0.410. This means that there is a 41% influence of the Principal’s managerial competence on the performance of Teachers. Based on the research results that have been presented, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the managerial competence of the Principal and the performance of Teacher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pertumbuhan rumput laut (eucheuma cottoni) dengan metode long line menggunakan hormon auksin di perairan pulau banyak, aceh singkil.. Metode yang digunakan pada peneltian ini adalah metode Rancangan acak Kelompok yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 3 kelompok, yaitu perlakuan A (kontrol), perlakuan B (0,2 mg/l), perlakuan C (0,4 mg/l), Perlakuan D (0,6 mg/l), perlakuan E (0,8 mg/l). Parameter yang diamati meliputi laju pertumbuhan mutlak, laju pertumbuhan panjang, produksi rumput laut dan pengukuran kualitas air. Hasil penelitian selama 30 hari menunjukan pemberian hormon auksin pada laju pertumbuhan rumput laut yaitu perlakuan C dengan dosis 0,4 mg/l dengan nilai 340 gram, laju pertumbuhan panjang yaitu perlakuan C dengan dosis 0,4 mg/l dengan nilai 14 cm, dan produksi rumput laut yaitu 1360 gram/m. Parameter perairan pada lokasi penelitian sangat baik untuk mendukung budidaya rumput laut. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan pemberian hormon auksin terhadap laju pertumbuhan rumput laut (Eucheuma cottoni) dengan metode long line. pemberian dosis yang berbeda telah didapatkan pada perlakuan yang terbaik yaitu perlakuan C dengan dosis 0,4 ml/l dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak, pertumbuhan panjang dan produksi rumput laut.

Abstract

Evaluation is one of the important components in the learning process, including in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Evaluation helps teachers measure the achievement of learning objectives and identify the weaknesses and strengths of the teaching and learning process. The development of evaluation tools that are appropriate and in accordance with the characteristics of PAI subjects is a necessity to obtain accurate evaluation results and describe students' abilities comprehensively. From this background, the purpose of this study is to provide an explanation of the development of evaluation tools in PAI learning. This research is a type of library research that uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the data collection technique is in the form of literature study, and the data analysis uses the content analysis method. The results showed that in this study, evaluation tools were developed in the form of authentic assessment instruments by considering the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects contained in PAI subjects. This authentic assessment instrument includes project assessment, portfolio, written test, observation, and self-assessment. The development of this instrument is based on the analysis of core competencies, basic competencies, and relevant PAI materials. After going through the stages of expert validation and field trials, the authentic assessment instrument developed showed valid, practical, and effective criteria for use in measuring student learning outcomes in PAI subjects. The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving the quality of PAI learning evaluation and provide a more comprehensive picture of student achievement in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop PAI curriculum objectives that are more relevant, contextual, and comprehensive. The research method used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature study, observation, and in-depth interviews with educational experts and practitioners. The data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using thematic and statistical analysis. The results showed that the objectives of the PAI curriculum developed should include aspects of strengthening aqidah, deepening religious knowledge, practicing worship, forming noble morals, and developing life skills based on Islamic values. The principles used in the development of PAI curriculum objectives include the balance between spiritual and material aspects, contextuality, and relevance to the needs of the times. The development strategies applied include revitalizing the curriculum, improving the quality of teachers, strengthening partnerships with parents and communities, and utilizing technology in learning. The implication of this study is the production of PAI curriculum objectives that are more comprehensive, in line with the times, and able to answer global challenges. The PAI curriculum developed is expected to provide adequate provision for students in facing global challenges and become a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, noble, and able to contribute positively to society.

Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum plays an important role in delivering students to achieve national education goals, namely forming Indonesian people who believe in and are devoted to God Almighty and have noble morals. However, along the way, PAI curriculum development is still faced with various problems. This research aims to identify the problems faced in developing the PAI curriculum. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through literature study, observation and interviews. The research results show that there are several problems in the development of the PAI curriculum, namely: Lack of stakeholder involvement in the PAI curriculum development process. The use of technology in developing the PAI curriculum has not been optimal. Limited human resources who are competent in developing the PAI curriculum. Insufficient funds for developing the PAI curriculum. Lack of synchronization between the PAI curriculum and other subject curricula. Evaluation of the PAI curriculum has not been optimal. It is hoped that the findings of this research can provide input for related parties in developing a better quality and more sustainable PAI curriculum.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan utama yang dipengaruhi gaya hidup tidak sehat. Terapi nonfarmakologis seperti Swedish Massage (menggunakan teknik effleurage, petrissage, friction, tapotement, dan vibration) berpotensi melancarkan sirkulasi darah, mengurangi ketegangan otot, dan meningkatkan relaksasi tanpa efek samping. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan menilai peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai penerapan Swedish Massage sebagai terapi komplementer pengelolaan hipertensi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Anjir serapat Muara 1, Kecamatan Anjir Muara, Kabupaten Barito Kuala, Kalimantan Selatan dengan melibatkan 22 peserta. Metode mencakup ceramah, diskusi interaktif, dan demonstrasi langsung teknik pijat. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan perubahan signifikan: pengetahuan peserta pra-intervensi berkategori cukup (45%), baik (36%), dan kurang (19%) berubah menjadi baik (91%) dan cukup (9%) pasca-intervensi. Kesimpulan: Edukasi dan demonstrasi Swedish Massage efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat secara signifikan. Dukungan berkelanjutan dari fasilitas kesehatan setempat dengan media edukasi menarik diperlukan agar terapi ini dapat diadopsi sebagai bagian dari pencegahan dan pengendalian hipertensi mandiri. Kata Kunci: Hipertensi, Swedish Massage, Pengabdian Masyarakat, Pengetahuan  ABSTRACT Hypertension is a major health concern influenced by unhealthy lifestyles. Non-pharmacological therapies, such as Swedish Massage (which involves effleurage, petrissage, friction, tapotement, and vibration techniques), have the potential to improve blood circulation, alleviate muscle tension, and enhance relaxation without side effects. This community service initiative aimed to assess the improvement in community knowledge about the application of Swedish Massage as a complementary therapy for managing hypertension. The activity was carried out in Anjir Serapat Muara 1 village, Anjir Muara District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan, involving 22 participants. The methods used included lectures, interactive discussions, and live demonstrations of massage techniques. Evaluation results showed significant changes: pre-intervention knowledge levels were sufficient (45%), good (36%), and poor (19%), which shifted post-intervention to good (91%) and sufficient (9%). In conclusion, education and demonstration of Swedish Massage significantly improved the community's knowledge. Ongoing support from local health facilities using engaging educational media is crucial so that this therapy can be adopted as part of self-management for hypertension prevention and control. Keywords: Hypertension, Swedish Massage, Community Service, Knowledge

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran interaktif di SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan guru meliputi penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, pendekatan kontekstual, metode diskusi, serta penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Selain itu, faktor pendukung dalam implementasi strategi ini meliputi kesiapan guru, dukungan sekolah, dan ketersediaan sarana pembelajaran. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya fasilitas teknologi dan variasi kemampuan belajar siswa. Dengan strategi yang tepat, pembelajaran interaktif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study examines whether pop-up book teaching media are associated with students’ learning interest in science, focusing on the human respiratory system topic. A quantitative correlational design was employed with a purposive sample of 21 eighth-grade students (class VIII-A) from SMP Negeri 21 Bengkulu Selatan, Indonesia. Learning interest and perceptions of the pop-up book were measured using validated Likert-type questionnaires totaling 32 items (16 items per construct). Data were analyzed using Pearson’s product–moment correlation and a follow-up significance test. Results showed a strong positive association between the use of pop-up book media and students’ learning interest (r = 0.781, p < 0.05), confirmed by a significant t-value (t(19) = 5.446 > t_table = 2.093). These findings indicate that innovative three-dimensional, interactive print media can meaningfully enhance students’ engagement with science content that is typically abstract at the lower-secondary level. The study contributes empirical evidence from an Indonesian junior-high context and offers practical implications for teachers to adopt visually rich, hands-on instructional tools to stimulate learning interest.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memperluas tantangan dalam pengelolaan data warehouse, khususnya dalam mentransformasi data semi-terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas beberapa metode transformasi data dalam mengintegrasikan format data yang heterogen. Pendekatan yang digunakan berupa analisis komparatif terhadap teknik berbasis XML dan JSON, dengan indikator evaluasi mencakup akurasi, kecepatan pemrosesan, dan kompleksitas algoritmik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode berbasis XML/JSON memberikan kinerja terbaik, dengan akurasi transformasi sebesar 87,5%, waktu pemrosesan tercepat 120 milidetik, serta tingkat kompleksitas yang rendah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode transformasi yang fleksibel dan adaptif sangat diperlukan dalam arsitektur data warehouse modern, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan integrasi data dari berbagai sumber

Abstract

This study explores the phenomenon of impoliteness in political discourse on social media during the 2024 Indonesian presidential election. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach and document study, tweets discussing the three presidential candidate pairs were analyzed using Brown-Levinson and Asim Gunawan's cyber pragmatics theories. The data consists of tweets from social media X/Twitter, revealing frequent violations of both positive and negative face, with many instances of hate speech and personal attacks, particularly among netizens labeled as buzzers. The results show that regardless of the supported presidential and vice-presidential candidate pairs, impolite utterances are prevalent in social media discussions. The principle of maintaining a positive face, which is the desire to be respected, and a negative face, which is the desire to act freely, are widely violated by Indonesian netizens. Instead of engaging in polite discourse to contest ideas, there are numerous instances of personal attacks, including the spread of personal data and allusions to SARA issues. The principles of kurmat, andhap asor, empan papan, and tepa selira, as part of Eastern culture, are also widely violated, leading to separatist movements and increased political polarization among the public. The study highlights the erosion of Eastern cultural politeness principles, contributing to increased political polarization. Sensitivity and irritation also occur more easily, creating opportunities for various types of hate speech. The insights gained offer a deeper understanding of the motivations behind online impoliteness and the potential for preventive measures to maintain social cohesion during democratic processes.
