Abstract

In this era to recognize breast tumors can be based on mammogram images. This method will expedite the process of recognition and classification of breast cancer. This research was conducted classification techniques of breast cancer using mammogram images. The proposed model targets classification studies for cases of malignant, and benign cancer. The research consisted of five main stages, preprocessing, histogram equalization, convolution, feature extraction, and classification. For preprocessing cropping the image using region of interest (ROI), for convolution, median filter and histogram equalization are used to improve image quality. Feature extraction using Gray-Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) with 5 features, entropy, correlation, contrast, homogeneity, and variance. The final step is the classification using Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). Based on the hypotheses that have been tested and discussed, the accuracy for RBFNN is 86.27%, while the accuracy for SVM is 84.31%. This shows that the RBFNN method is better than SVM in distinguishing types of breast cancer. These results prove the process of improving image construction using histogram equalization and the median filter is useful in the classification process.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Psycho-emotional aspects play an important role in both health services and health workers in the emergency department. Smiles are forms of interactions between nurses and patients that are given in providing health services to patients in terms of nonverbal communication. However, high workloads in the emergency unit may hinder nurses from smiling. Purpose: This study aimed to explore the experiences and meanings of nurses’ smiles to patients in the emergency department. Methods: This study employed a qualitative design with a descriptive phenomenological approach. Thirteen participants were recruited through purposive sampling using the inclusion criteria, such as emergency nurses with more than three years of work experience and nurses who had attended training on effective communication. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with semi-structured questions and analyzed using the Colaizzi’s phenomenological approach. Results: The study generated four themes, namely, the importance of smiles in emergency services, the miracle of smiles, the hindrances for emergency nurses to smile, and that smiles and humor in an emergency situation are important for children. Conclusion: The study concluded that nurses’ smiles had a significant benefit on emergency department services as a form of interpersonal relationship, although the practice still needs to be improved. Nurses are expected to be able to apply smiles in communicating with patients and their families in the emergency departments.

Abstract

The development of women's history must continue to be improved due to the lack of availability of sources that record women's roles in Indonesian history. Faced with that condition, the oral history method is present as an alternative source to answer the shortage of these sources. Recognizing the importance of oral history, the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) is a national archival institution that maintains and preserves authentic sources in the form of archives from various mediums and carries out oral history interviews to complete and fill in the gaps of certain events that have occurred in Indonesia. the past. Regarding women's progress, ANRI's oral history interview with the theme of the Relatives of the Kingdom of the Nusantara shows the role of women in cultural preservation. ANRI interviewed three female sources from three different kingdoms, namely G.R.Ay. Retno Rosati Kadarisman Notohadiningrat from Mangkunegaran, GKR Koes Murtiyah Wandansari from Surakarta, and Anak Agung Ayu Dewi Girindra Wardani from Karangasem. This article discusses how ANRI's oral history activities led to the role of women in the Kingdom of the Nusantara in cultural preservation so that it can be an alternative source as a complement to the ANRI archive treasures that are useful to be used today and in the future. Abstract

Some biblical scholars understand Deuteronomy to be the end of the Pentateuch. Before the nation of Israel became a confederate system, the socio-political reality could usually be seen in the composition, interaction, and behavior of relationships in society, which were assumed to be political elements. The Israeli confederation which is like the ambition centered on Yahweh is what the author refers to as Israel's "Qahal". Martin Noth explains Qahal Israel in Deuteronomist Historical Works, which began with a period of wandering under the leadership of Musa, then became an immigrant in the Land of Canaan, followed by Saul's leadership where Israel asked the king to directly lead the Israelites. In the leadership of David and Solomon, which originally had 12 tribes, eventually split into two nations. With this monarchical system, God hates, because he does not reject God as the government in their life. The purpose of this study was to find the location of the Deuteronomy and Eating Qahal books in the book of laws. The research method uses critical research with a study of literature and ideological sources using Martin Noth's theory which is an early thesis in Deuteronomic History Works. The novelty of this research is the existence of a new meaning where the main message of Deuteronomic history works, namely Israel is forced to turn to God, confess His sins, and return to submit and obey His word because they have been chosen to be God's people (2 Ki 17:13).
