Abstract

Character education is critical in developing students’ attitudes and personalities. One approach that can be used is through teacher interaction with students. This study aims to reveal teachers’ approach to interacting with students to develop good character values. This study is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. The research informants were eight teachers who intensively interacted with students for over a year. The data collection technique used in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique used was interpretative phenomenological analysis (AFI), which includes three stages: horizontalization, developing meaning units, and presenting the phenomenon’s essence. To obtain valid data, researchers conducted source triangulation. The study results showed that intensive teacher-student interaction, both classically and individually, can provide understanding and foster students’ awareness of having good character. Therefore, to build students’ character in a better direction, teachers are strongly advised to constantly interact with students intensively, both classically and individually, to foster sensitivity and students’ means of having good character.

Abstract

Kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang COVID-19, lupus, reumatik, dan alergi mempengaruhi keberhasilan terapi, penurunan angka kejadian, dan pencegahan kekambuhan. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah membangun desa-desa binaan tanggap COVID-19, lupus, reumatik, dan alergi di Malang oleh Tim Kelompok Kajian Lupus, Autoimun, Reumatik, dan Alergi (LAURA) Universitas Brawijaya. Warga desa binaan diberikan penyuluhan berupa seminar awam dan pelatihan tentang pertolongan awal pada penyakit COVID-19, lupus, reumatik, dan alergi, kemudian diminta mengisi kuesioner posttest untuk mengukur pemahaman. Desa-desa binaan diberikan thermo-gun dan wastafel untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Satu bulan kemudian dievaluasi adanya kejadian COVID-19, lupus, reumatik, dan alergi di desa binaan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan rata-rata warga desa binaan memahami 78,3% materi yang diberikan dan menerapkan protokol kesehatan sesuai yang diajarkan saat penyuluhan. Dilaporkan tidak ada kejadian COVID-19 serta kekambuhan lupus, reumatik, dan alergi dalam satu bulan terakhir kegiatan. Kesimpulan: pembangunan desa-desa binaan di Malang meningkatkan tanggap warga terhadap COVID-19, lupus, reumatik, dan alergi.

Abstract

Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease affecting the integumentary and organ systems. It impacts daily activities and degrades self-esteem. Meanwhile, there is a minimum amount of literature about self-care management education for Psoriasis. Pocketbooks can be used as an alternate learning tool for self-care management by making them more portable among patients. The aims are to foster a positive perception of illness and self-determination regarding Psoriasis. This study evaluated the effectiveness of providing self-care management education using a pocketbook on the illness perception of Psoriasis. The research employed a mixed-methods design, combining quasi-experimental and qualitative approaches. The study involves 30 participants diagnosed with Psoriasis. Participants are divided into two groups: a control and an intervention group. The Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (B-IPQ) was utilized to assess the participants' perceptions of their illness before and after the intervention. A paired t-test was used to compare pre-test and post-test scores within each group. A two-sample t-test was employed to compare the mean differences between the control and intervention groups. The significance level was set at a p-value of 0.05. The interview data were transcribed verbatim using thematic analysis. The study indicates a difference in the illness perception of patients between control and intervention groups with a significance value of 0.000. Patients report that understanding triggers and management strategies allow for better health. Pocketbook is a practical education approach improving illness perceptions of Psoriasis. Recognizing triggers and adopting management techniques, patients are able to take steps to deal with flare-ups and improve their well-being.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh game online Mobile Legend terhadap perilaku bertutur kata siswa di MTs Baitul Makmur. Objek penelitian adalah siswa yang aktif memainkan game Mobile Legend. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perubahan dalam cara siswa berkomunikasi, baik secara positif maupun negatif, sebagai dampak dari interaksi dalam permainan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner kepada siswa dan guru, serta analisis interaksi siswa di dalam dan luar lingkungan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam perilaku bertutur kata siswa yang sering bermain Mobile Legend. Sebagian siswa menunjukkan peningkatan kreativitas dalam berbahasa dan kerja sama dalam komunikasi kelompok, namun sebagian lainnya cenderung meniru kata-kata kasar atau tidak pantas yang sering muncul dalam permainan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa game online Mobile Legend memiliki dampak ganda terhadap perilaku bertutur kata siswa. Diperlukan peran aktif dari guru dan orang tua untuk mengarahkan siswa agar mampu menyaring dan menerapkan penggunaan bahasa yang positif serta mengurangi dampak negatif dari permainan tersebut.

Abstract

Abstrak Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis merupakan keterampilan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, namun hasil studi PISA menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa Indonesia dalam matematika masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT dan  motivasi   belajar  terhadap  kemampuan  pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik korelasional, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diberikan kepada responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis jalur untuk mengukur   hubungan   antara variabel ChatGPT (X1), motivasi belajar siswa (X2), dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan ChatGPT secara signifikan meningkatkan   pemahaman   konsep   dan   keterampilan   berpikir   kritis   siswa   dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematis. Selain itu, motivasi belajar yang tinggi berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keuletan dan ketahanan siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan matematika. Simpulan dari penelitian  ini adalah bahwa integrasi teknologi  berbasis kecerdasan buatan seperti  ChatGPT,  yang didukung oleh motivasi belajar yang tinggi, dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: ChatGPT, motivasi belajar, pemecahan masalah matematis, teknologi Pendidikan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the needs of IAIN Curup Postgraduate Islamic Religious Education Doctoral Program students regarding academic services provided by lecturers and education staff to support the completion of studies on time. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. 21 Islamic Religious Education Doctoral Program (S3) students were the research informants. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews. The validity of the data was checked by source triangulation and interview expansion. The data obtained were analyzed using spiral model analysis. The research results show that students' needs for academic services from lecturers cover three aspects, namely learning services, mentoring and dissertation testing. Students also need academic services from education staff to support completing their studies on time. The lecturers students need are those who can teach, guide, and test professionally. Likewise, academic services provided by education staff must be carried out professionally, reflected in the quality and attitude of providing services.

Abstract

Penggunaan nikel sulfat sebagai bahan baku baterai litium akan meningkatkan permintaan nikel di masa depan. Peningkatan permintaan tersebut akan diikuti oleh peningkatan permintaan bijih nikel yang saat ini banyak berasal dari bijih nikel laterit. Khususnya, permintaan bijih nikel laterit kadar rendah (limonit, Ni ≤ 1,5%) yang saat ini belum banyak diolah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengolahan bijih nikel laterit kadar rendah (limonit) secara hidrometalurgi untuk memperoleh padatan nikel sulfat melalui proses pelindian menggunakan asam sulfat dan pengendapan menggunakan metode Solvent Displacement Crystallization (SDC). Tahapan pada penelitian ini meliputi preparasi, pelindian, pengendapan dan karakterisasi. Sampel bijih hasil preparasi dilarutkan dengan menggunakan asam sulfat pada proses pelindian dan dinetralisasi menggunakan CaCO3 untuk memperoleh larutan nikel sulfat yang kemudian diendapkan pada proses pengendapan menggunakan metode SDC. Endapan nikel sulfat selanjutnya dipisahkan dari larutan untuk dikarakterisasi menggunakan XRD, XRF, AAS dan SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbandingan organik air (OA) 1,6:1; pH 2, waktu pengadukan 3 jam dan temperatur 20oC adalah parameter terbaik dengan persen pengendapan nikel yang diperoleh adalah 98,3%.

Abstract

The geographical location of Palembang, which is one of the trading ports, has caused many foreign nations to come to this city, including Chinese and Europeans. Direct interaction between the people of Palembang and Chinese and European cultures brought by traders who came to Palembang caused acculturation in various things, including in terms of architectural art. One of the buildings whose architecture is influenced by Chinese and European cultures is the Great Mosque of Palembang. The influence of Chinese architecture on the Great Mosque of Palembang can be seen on the roof, ceiling, old tower, and the use of typical Chinese colors on several building ornaments. Meanwhile, the influence of European architecture can be seen on the white pillars in the Doric shape on the terrace and the hall of the mosque, in addition, the influence of European architecture can also be seen in the use of stained glass ornaments in several parts of the Great Mosque of Palembang. Meanwhile, the typical Palembang architectural style found in the Great Mosque of Palembang can be seen in the carving art found on several ornaments in the Great Mosque of Palembang.

Abstract

Shortness of breath, known as dyspnea, is a symptom that affects 40 to 70% of patients with HIV/AIDS during their hospital stays. Nonetheless, the prevalence and severity of dyspnea among individuals attending outpatient clinics remain inadequately understood. Evaluating dyspnea in the outpatient care setting is essential for preventing further complications and enhancing the quality of life for these patients. This study aims to assess the factors associated with the incidence and severity of dyspnea in individuals diagnosed with HIV in an outpatient context. Additionally, it examines the demographic characteristics of the study population. A cross-sectional observational study was conducted across 68 HIV outpatients. The incidence and severity of dyspnea were evaluated utilizing the Modified Borg Scale (MBS), and bivariate analyses were conducted. The results showed that among 64 individuals (94.1%), 64 exhibited dyspnea. The severity of dyspnea was categorized as follows: no breathlessness (4; 5.9%), very slight (8; 11.8%), very mild (15; 22.1%), mild (10; 14.7%), moderate (11; 16.2%), somewhat severe (7; 10.3%), severe (11; 16.2%), and very severe (2; 2.9%). Statistical analysis revealed no significant association between demographic factors and the incidence of dyspnea (p > 0.05), nor was there a correlation between demographic characteristics and the severity of dyspnea (p > 0.05). In conclusion, the Modified Borg Scale, which incorporates the 6-minute walking test as an assessment tool, can objectively identify and monitor the risk for more severe respiratory complications, even among patients without a prior diagnosis of pulmonary comorbidities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui implikasi neurosains pada projek based learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi dalam pembelajaran PAI.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian field research. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini Penerapan Neurosains dalam model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) memiliki implikasi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan kolaborasi siswa pada pembelajaran PAI di SDN 91 Rejang Lebong yaitu siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam berbicara, percaya diri dalam menyampaikan pendapat, serta mampu bekerja sama dalam kelompok untuk menyelesaikan proyek.
